My Type~ George Weasley x Reader
Tumblr media
Pairing: George Weasley x fem!reader Summary: You're getting closer to your best friend Lee Jordan, nothing wrong with that, right? Warnings: none (perhaps angst if you SQUINT)
“Where’s Lee?” you asked, taking a bite of the apple you picked out from the pile of delicious-looking green fruit in front of you. Breakfast was always your favorite part of the day. After all of this time at Hogwarts, you were still enamored by the feast-sized meals they supplied the students.
Fred snorted beside you, glancing past you to look at his twin. You turned towards him and raised your eyebrows.
“What?” you quipped, wiping your mouth with your sleeve as you took another bite of your apple.
“He promised me he’d help me finish my potions essay. You know, because we were partners for the last project? When we had to brew Draught of Living Death? I’ve been looking for him all morning and I can’t find him anywhere,” you said as you tried to find a napkin. George shot him daggers behind your back.
Fred just smirked and turned back to his breakfast. George cleared his throat.
“I think he’s at the Owlery. He said something about sending in a Zonko order form this morning,” he mumbled.
“Oh, okay,” you shrugged, smiling at George, then finishing your apple.
Suddenly George got up. You and Fred looked at him. He pointed lamely over his shoulder.
“I, uh, think I have detention. I must’ve forgotten,” he said, as he backed away from the table, averting his eyes.
You and Fred watched him turn and hurry out of the Great Hall. You looked at Fred for an explanation. He just rolled his eyes.
“Was it something I said?”
“It’s about Jordan,” he snorted, waggling his eyebrows at you.
You were lost. Lee Jordan was one of your best friends. Along with the twins, the four of you had been inseparable from the start of your career at Hogwarts. What’s changed?
Fred studied you for a bit. He took a bite of his eggs.
“You two have been spending an awful lot of time together lately, y’know,” he said, pointing his fork at you.
You shoved him.
“Jesus, Fred! Lee’s just a friend! We’re friends! Just friends! Friends! That’s it! Bloody hell, he’s like my brother. God, that’s like saying I liked you.”
He scrunched his nose up and laughed, blocking your fake punches.
“Alright, alright! I knew you didn’t like him. George has got his wand all in a knot about it, though.”
Butterflies fluttered in your stomach. The thought of George being jealous crossed your mind. Even it being a possibility made your face flush.
“Why is George concerned about Lee and I?” you asked.
Fred shrugged.
“Oh you know, Jordan’s been his best friend since the beginning of time and you’re his girl best friend. He’s always been a sensitive sod,” he said, watching you carefully.
“Oh, right.” You looked down at your hands in your lap. It was stupid to get your hopes up. George is one of your best friends, and things are better off remaining the way they are. Just staying friends. Even if it kills you.
Fred cleared his throat and tore you out of your thoughts.
“So, I mean, why not Jordan?” he asked, smirking, taking a sip of his pumpkin juice.
You choked a little bit on the toast you were attempting to swallow.
“Huh?” you rasped.
“Well,” he started, grabbing an apple for himself, “he’s smart, funny, pretty attractive, and you guys get on really well. Why not Jordan? Is there someone else? Have you been hiding something from me, Y/N?” he made a face of mock hurt and clutched his chest.
Your face turned bright red. He bolted right up and yelled.
“I knew it!”
You buried your face in the sleeves of your robes face down on the table.
“He’s just not my type!” you mumbled.
“Didn’t quite catch that, love,” he laughed, elbowing you.
You sat up in your seat and looked at him sheepishly.
“He’s just not my type,” you shrugged.
“Ah! So who is?” he grinned.
You studied him. You shook your head.
“You’ll never let me live it down. You’ll never let it go, either,” you told him.
He smiled mischievously.
“I will absolutely never let you live it down, I will absolutely never let it go, and more importantly I’m going to completely get on your absolute last nerve about it. But on the bright side, I already know who it is.”
Your eyes grew wide.
“Y-you-w-what-h-how?!” you stuttered, growing more flustered by the second.
Fred chuckled.
“I swear to Godric, you look at the bloke as if he’s single-handedly slayed a dragon for you. You started coming to Gryffindor Quidditch games even when your own house wasn’t competing, but you had completely tuned out the match itself. You had your eyes trained on his every move. Y/N, even our own mother can’t tell us apart sometimes, and while I’m flattered I’m involved in that deal because you’re my best friend, I know for a fact that you learned George’s name first.”
He paused and studied your face for a moment before something behind you caught his eye, and he grinned, looking back at you.
“He looks at you the same way.”

Forever, I promise (Eddie Munson x reader fluff)
The events of volume 2 aren’t cannon in my opinion, so here’s an alternate ending that I think suits it much better. Slight angst, but very fluffy. Stay safe out there y’all 💜
——————————————-
The only thing you could hear were your screams. They echoed in your ears as you ran seemingly in slow motion toward the crimson swarm of demonbats in front of you. Eddie’s small crippled figure curled up on the ground, seemingly motionless. Tears streaked down your face as your heavy footfall struck the pavement. This wasn’t how it was supposed to go. This wasn’t how it was supposed to end.
When you finally reached him, you dropped to your knees beside him. You frantically glanced over his face with a terrified expression. He looked up at you with tired eyes. Those beautiful brown eyes you fell in love with every day. He smiled up at you, red blood tainting his normally perfectly white teeth.
“That bad, huh?” he chuckled, coughing in the process.
A tear ran down your face as you clasped his hand. You forced a smile.
“No, no, not at all. You’re gonna be just fine, my love, I promise.”
You whipped your head around towards the trailer, squinting for Dustin.
“Dustin! I need help over here!” you screamed.
You turned back to your boyfriend. He somehow looked even paler. You brought a hand up to his cheek and cupped it roughly.
“Hang in there, Munson, I didn’t give you permission to die on me today.”
He looked at up at you with lidded eyes. He was so still for a moment you brought your fingers down to his wrist to check his pulse.
“You know you’re the most beautiful creature I’ve ever laid my eyes on, right?” he whispered.
You let out a choked half sob, half laugh.
“You must be in worse shape than I thought, Eds.”
His lips curled into a sad smile.
“Open my jacket pocket.”
You stared at him. He coughed again, and slowly moved your hand to his breast pocket. You let your hand rest on his chest for a moment before unzipping the tactical jacket zipper. You felt around inside before feeling something small and cool between your fingers. Pulling it out was a delicate gold band. You looked up in shock. Eddie grinned up at you.
“I’ve been carrying this little fucker around in my pocket for the past two months now, waiting for the right moment, and, well, I guess my deathbed is as good a time as any, right sweetheart?”
You blinked.
“Eddie, I-“
He squeezed your hand as hard as he could muster.
“I always knew it would be you. Ever since we were little. I remember the day you moved into the trailer park. My trailer park princess,” he laughed.
You noticed that a little bit of color had returned to his cheeks. He no longer had a dazed expression on his face. You heart fluttered as hope started to brim inside of you. You looked over your shoulder to see Dustin limping over towards the two of you. You turned back to Eddie. He continued.
“I can’t imagine life without you. I love you more than words can ever express. I mean, shit Y/N, I can’t even cook breakfast without burning the house down, how am I supposed to brave the rest of my life without my best girl by my side?”
You wiped the tears flowing from your eyes and laughed. It was true, he had recently set his industrial strength toaster on fire when he tried to make you a romantic breakfast in bed.
He shakily pulled your face closer to his.
“So? What do you say, princess?”
You stroked his sweaty forehead and planted a kiss to it.
“I didn’t hear a question,” you whispered, so soft it could’ve been a thought.
His face broke out into a grin.
“Will you marry me, Y/N?”
You crashed your lips into his, and he gripped you closer, not caring about the pain shooting through his sides. After a moment, you pulled away.
“Of course, my love,” you said, with more tears threatening to fall, “of course.”
He beamed up at you, with tears in his own eyes.
“But only under one condition,” you added.
He cocked an eyebrow.
“You gotta be alive to get married, babe.”
He let out a loud laugh, before wheezing. You sat him up, searching his face with worried eyes. He turned to you and smirked.
“Don’t worry, sweetheart, nothings gonna kill me before I get to see you walk down that aisle.”

————————————————-
You laid back in the bed and gently ran your fingers through Eddie’s hair, gazing at him laying on your chest. You pulled at a strand lightly, causing him to groan slightly and look up at you, a wide grin on his face.
“Ready for round two already, princess?”
You swatted him and hummed in thought.
“You know you have to graduate this year, right Eddie?” you said, peering at him.
He rolled his eyes and chuckled.
“Who are you? Principal Higgins?”
You just looked at him seriously. He sat up and crossed his legs.
“Ok, ok. What’s on your mind?” he questioned, tucking a loose hair behind your ear.
You looked away before taking a deep breath.
“I mean, you don’t want to be stuck in Hawkins forever, do you? You want to eventually get out, right?”
He laughed nervously.
“Well yeah of course. I don’t know if anyone necessarily plans on staying in this shithole.”
You grabbed his face and forced him to look at you.
“Then graduate. Don’t make the same mistakes as the previous years. Eddie, I always offer to help you! If we really just dedicate our time this year, I really think that-“ you trailed off, noticing you’d lost his attention. He was reaching over you to pull a cigarette and a lighter off of the nightstand.
You sighed. It was no secret that Eddie hated this conversation. Anytime you tried to bring it up, he always shut down. But you were tired. You had already graduated months prior. Eddie was about to attempt his third try at getting his diploma.
The love you had for him was unlike anything you’d ever experienced. He was your go to for anything. He knew you like no one else did. He always knew what to do or say to make you feel better. You felt lost without him.
Graduating from Hawkins High made you realize there was more in life than the town you grew up in. And you wanted to experience it. But the more you thought about it, none of those possible outcomes excluded Eddie- and that terrified you. He was the endgame in all of them. You wanted him to be there for everything that came along the way, hell, you NEEDED him there. But you had this aching fear that he didn’t share that dream.
You felt tears welling up in your eyes. That was it- you need to finally voice it to him.
“Eddie, look at me.”
His head snapped toward you at shocking speed once he heard your tone. He scanned your face, noticing your eyes starting to turn red from the impending tears. A look of concern immediately crossed his face.
You grabbed his hands.
“I need you to graduate. If you can’t do it for yourself, then do it for me. Do it for us. I need you, Eddie. I need you in my life, and I can’t stay in this town. I want you with me through everything: the good, the bad, everything. I want a future with you, goddammit! I picture us together in every situation. I need you.” You were full on crying at this point.
He just stared at you.
“You want… a future? With me?” he blinked.
“But you don’t,” you sighed, looking away, a tear rolling down your cheek.
“Hey, hey, hey, wait!” Eddie scrambled, cupping your check to catch the tear.
You looked at him expectantly. He groaned and buried his head in his hands. When he finally looked up, you tried to read his face. He looked… scared?
“I love you, Y/N. More than anything in this world. And that fucking scares me,” he chuckled bitterly, playing with one of the rings on his fingers. He looked up and continued.
“I’m the town freak. An outcast,” he spit.
You smiled sadly and touched his arm.
“You’re not a freak Eddie,” you whispered softly.
He almost flinched at your touch, so lost in thought. But then his features softened as he took your sight in. He pulled you close into his chest.
“Everyday I wonder ‘how did I get so lucky to get the funniest, sweetest, most beautiful girl in all of Hawkins to even look at me, let alone be mine’. It just doesn’t make any sense,” he whispered into your hair, taking in your scent.
“You could do so much better, in fact, you deserve so much better.”
You turned around and looked into his big, brown eyes.
“But I want you,” you whispered, before pressing a kiss to his lips. He met your intensity, and brought a hand to the back of your head to pull you in closer.
When you finally pulled away to breathe, you felt woozy from the kiss. You looked up at Eddie through your lashes. He stroked your cheek and sighed.
“My perfect girl. You really want me? Big bad Eddie?” he asked, dramatically batting his eyes.
You giggled and laid back onto the pillows, pulling him down with you. He landed with an “oof”.
“Yes, I do. And I always will.”

Morning Kisses (Eddie Munson x Reader fluff fic)
A cute little fluffy morning Drabble 💜
———————
You blinked your eyes open and tried to adjust to your surroundings. Dim light peeked through the closed curtains behind you. The faint smell of weed, cigarettes, and shitty cologne immediately brought you to reality. You felt the arms around you shift slightly and you sighed- a slight smile pulling across your lips. You turned in the bed to face the curly haired metal head you called your boyfriend. His eyelashes fluttered slightly as he blinked away his slumber. Butterflies littered your stomach. Shit, those never seemed to go away no matter how much time passed.
“Mornin’ you dork,” you grinned, peppering his face with kisses.
He grinned and groaned, pulling you in closer. You glanced at the clock on the cluttered nightstand. 10:30. Shit.
You sat up quickly, earning a disgruntled noise from Eddie.
“Babeeee,” he murmured into his pillow, grabby hands commencing, willing you to come back. You poked him hard on his side, causing him to look at you with a face of dramatic shock.
“I know you know what today is,” you said, peering at him.
His eyes narrowed as he racked his brain for a second before they widened.
“Shit.” he agreed.
It was August 1st, 1985; the first day of school. You had since graduated months before but Eddie, bless his heart, was about to attempt his third time. And it was well past second period.
“Get up, I’ll drive you,” you said, pressing a kiss to his temple as you attempted to move out of bed.
He grinned and yanked you back down beside him, chuckling at the squeal you made.
“Well, two periods have already passed, might as well miss third,” he laughed, eyes shining, as he worked his way down your neck.

Emerald Christmas (A Loki imagine/blurb)
Authors note: for all intents and purposes, in this little piece, everyone survives the war against Thanos, because my little heart couldn't take it...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Green was a color you’d grown especially fond of since beginning your relationship with Loki. You stand now in front of the mirror in your Avengers Tower bedroom admiring the emerald satin fabric with gold accent marks on the hem. You were so lost in thought that you didn’t notice your beloved step into the room from behind you.
“Beautiful as ever,” he breathed.
You looked up and locked eyes with him in the mirror before you as he moved forward to envelop your waist. You leaned into his embrace as you felt your cheeks grow hot. It’d been almost a year since that night under the stars where you’d both confessed your feelings, but the emotions still remained as raw and real as it was then. He was your world, your rock, and your purpose. You couldn’t imagine a life without him, and you were confident you would never have to, but being together didn’t come without its share of hardships. Loki, sensing your uneasiness, furrowed his brow.
“What is it, darling?” he said, lifting your chin.
You took a deep breath and bit your lip. You recalled the events of a few weeks ago. The candlelight, the music, the kisses, and the ring. Loki had proposed. You had said yes. It was the kind of “yes” that came from deep within. The kind of yes that was so honest it had your thoughts left behind trying to catch up. It was a yes that didn’t wait for any sort of logic. You meant it. But in the weeks after that yes, you’d been concerned about breaking your news to the rest of the tower, especially Tony.
Tony Stark: billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, and superhero. He also happens to be the only person you have closest to a father. Your parents had worked for Tony Stark, and during those years, your father and Tony had grown very close. When you came along, Tony was deemed your godfather. When Thanos snapped in 2018, you were blipped, along with half the world’s population. Your parents, however, were not and happened to be driving at that exact moment. They became one of the many casualties of the Blip. After the fight with Thanos, having been blipped back into the world virtually alone, you went to go stay with Tony. You met all the Avengers, forming friendships, unlike any others you’d ever had before. You also met Loki, and, well, the rest was history. But to Tony, meeting Loki was the worst thing that ever happened to you. No matter what your argument is, he doesn’t approve. While most have forgiven Loki for the Battle of New York thanks to his efforts against Thanos, some still haven’t gotten over that hump, Tony included.
“Do you think breaking the engagement news at Christmas dinner is the best idea?” you softly questioned.
Loki’s face broke into a grin. He picked up the gold necklace from your dresser and began latching it around your neck.
“My love, what better time! The holidays are festive and merry! We just so happen to be making the evening even more splendid.”
You let out a sigh.
“What about Tony? You know he’s going to lose it.”
Loki’s grin wavered a bit.
“Oh, he’ll get over it.”
You gave him an unsure look. His eyes darkened in response.
“Nothing anyone does or says can take you away from me. Nothing. You’re mine, and that’s a promise.”
You shivered at his words and felt your face redden. He smirked and swiftly turned you around to plant a deep kiss on your lips. You melted and wrapped your arms around his neck. As he pulled away, you opened your eyes and drank in the sight of his dark emerald robes that complimented your dress. As if he could read your mind he tutted with a shine in his eyes.
“You know, green really is your color, my dear. Now, let us go ruin Christmas dinner!”
