No exception and no excuses
I know for a fact that every human being that ever set a foot inside a school had a teacher that was like, “No, you can’t go to the toilet because if I make an exception for you I have to make one for everyone else too!”
Like, first of all – fuck you, if I need to go to the bathroom who are you to tell me not to go? Are you my bladder? Are you able to see if my bladder is actually full or not? If yes – maybe you should go and become a Doctor instead of terrorizing children for their bodies needs.
BUT...now, as an adult I understand them. Yes, it’s still fucking insane to forbid kids to go to the bathroom but the concept makes sense.
I can confidently say that I spend the last few years of my life trying to level up and I believe that I was successful at doing so.
Well, buckle up because our teachers were right. You can’t make exceptions and excuses left and right and still expect good results.
Your routine will never stick if you make an exception every second day and let yourself miss something of said routine.
Discipline, ladies. Discipline. Such an easy word but so hard for some people.
Also, newsflash buddies – it doesn’t matter if you spend hours trying to construct the perfect morning, evening or workout routine if you don’t stick to it until it is fully ingrained in your every day life.
Also, you let yourself down every time you make an excuse or exception. Why would your brain start to trust you if you constantly let yourself down and give in to every urge?
Honestly, stop whining, start planning and SIMPLY stick to your plans. Don’t think about it. Just do it.
