Inspired by the classical painting, Springtime by Pierre-Auguste Cot. I’ve seen this around a lot and I’ve always wanted to draw Hollis and Rowhan like this.
for this piece however, I really wanted to leave it textured and build up the colors. I’ve read that classical painters used to start their skin tones with Bright greens and I did that here.
