Turns out this is a goodbye message. It has been a great time with you all through this blog, to everyone I had the fortune of interacting with. It is a pity that so many stories will be left hanging so any and all readers, I apologise.

Meanwhile I have managed to start a new blog to post that one story I have worked on for so long. Not tagging the blog here but I do hope you will come across it and like it.

Initially this was drafted as a goodbye message as I slowly take down my works and retrace my digital footprint but I have been feeling a little restless with all these incomplete works I have left stranded. I may not be able to complete most of those and this may not be the last you will hear from me but I just wanted to get this acknowledgement out there that I am thankful, immensely for the love you all showed me for the time I have been here. I am sending them back at you tenfolds and well yeah, that's it.

Pairing: Jeon Jungkook x fem!reader

Warnings: angst, reader is undermined for being from a small town/countryside, party animal jungkook, typical uni rivalry, reader is a miser, jungkook is a spender, fluff, domestic fluff, fluff everywhere, some fights and oh yes, smut :) more warnings to be updated with each part.

Summary: You never thought that you'd get that job in Seoul let alone make the decision to move there; even shockingly have a roommate! Knowing your luck and accepting your fate, you awaited a loud, obnoxious roommate with no understanding of your unfamiliarity to the city life. While some of it did come true, your life in Seoul with Jeon Jungkook turned out to be so much more than the cliche girl-meets-world dramas. It did not help that he was awfully attractive and has tattoos!

a/n: Although I am still very much working on a number of WIPs, I'll be going on indefinite writing hiatus after the completion of this series (unless I change my mind halfway). Haegeum should be out by July end or mid-August and well, as for the rest, we'll see. There will be no taglist for this fic. My time here at Tumblr as a fic writer has been filled with mixed feelings but with the plans that I have now, I'll be returning to being a nameless viewer after this series ends. Above you, the sky was a canvas of colours and the clouds, specs of dust on it. You watched the kids slip and fall into the puddles that the storm last night left as remnants. The streets were filled with faces that you have been seeing since the day your eyes started to see the world for what it truly was. You wondered if the mad man that loitered around the raw fish restaurant always looked as sad; then again, you barely knew how to read people, let alone a mad man.

In the pocket of your ironed, pristine suit pants was a heavy piece of paper. In quivering, intended-to-be-fancy lettering was the address of the place and the name of the person who would be staying with you. You've always heard how common and efficient 'roommates' were in Seoul from the auntie who sold seasoned corns by the beach.

Your roommate – what kind of a person were they? Your feet abruptly halted in the middle of the road and you bit your tongue in frustration. Father had told you a hundred times at least, to never, ever stop in the middle of a busy road no matter how loud your thoughts were.

He had exclaimed in fascination and pride of having seen it firsthand, "The streets in Seoul have more buses running in a minute than in a week here!"

But you couldn't contain your nerves as you took out the piece of paper from your pocket, delicately unfolding it to read the name underlined thrice — Jeon Jungkook.

Jungkook choked on the chocolate marshmallow, glaring at his friends in half hearted anger, "Why are we eating marshmallows? I thought we were here to-"

"Chill, chill. I know," Taehyung smiled while biting into another spongy treat, "Let's hear about your roommate first."

Jungkook couldn't help the small smile that lingered on his lips when he recalled the conversation he had with you when the stay was finalised. You spoke with such a nonchalant confidence that Jungkook felt undeniably intimidated on the call and only hoped that you couldn't tell.

"Well, 'dunno much," he shrugged, "only spoke on the call. She sounded very chill."

"You sure hope so. Who's gonna keep up with our wannabe playboy if not a chill person?"

Jungkook chuckled at Taehyung's words before noticing the rest of his group approaching, arms full of clinking bottles. As the night witnessed yet another of his raging parties, somewhere in his mind Jungkook couldn't help but drift again and again to the same question – what kind of person were you?

Reporting plagiarism on fan fiction platforms.

It seems to be getting worse and worse, doesn’t it? My stories and even my published books - which I write to support a charity that means so much to my family - have been stolen and republished for profit. Several times. But most of them are behind paywalls on Eastern European and Asian sites and I’ll never get them taken down. But if you’re finding your stories - or someone’s you know - on one of the more popular sites, you can contact the site and submit a DMCA takedown request. They’ll often just pop up under another name, but once the content is flagged, it’s much easier to track. Don’t let these parasites get away with it! More than you know are actually making money off your material.

When you do file your report:

1. Make sure you include the URL of the stolen material and screenshots of any interactions you may have had with the thieving scumsucker. DO NOT threaten the plagiarist! This should seem obvious but I know it’s easy to get angry.

2. Include relevant passages and matching material from the original work, and the URL for the original work, including contact info for the writer who owns the material. The more info you give them to work with, the faster the process.

Wattpad - I hate that you can’t report someone else’s work, the original owner of the material has to file the takedown request. AND they force you to create an account to do it. But since Wattpad is one of the biggest platforms for stolen work, please do it! Here’s the info on filing a report, though they didn’t update it to clarify that the place to report the story in on the left of the story, click on the three dots below social media sharing links.

Tumblr - They seem to take longer to respond, but you can also report someone else’s work as being plagiarized as well as the original poster. Instructions on filing the report are here. This seems to be a site where multiple reports - aka the squeaky wheel - do make them pay attention.

Archive of Our Own - They will ask you for a link to the stolen work, relevant excerpts (this moves the process along so much faster) and a specific citation of the original material. You can file the complaint with the Policy & Abuse Team here.

FanFiction.net - There’s some speculation that no one’s actually running the ship at FF.net anymore, another reason I took down my work. (The first was a group of white supremacist weirdos who decided to have an issue with how I wrote Loki.) However, the best way to do it is scroll down to the bottom of the stolen material where you’ll see a link to click labeled “Actions.” Click it and then click on report abuse.

If anyone else has more advice and/or links to add here, please do! I am not an expert and the more we all know, the better. Let’s look out for each other. We all put too much of ourselves into our work to let someone else steal it from us.
