Sometimes you stumble upon the advice that you've been trying to tell yourself for years and suddenly a random tumblr bro sending these words, typed out exactly as you've always imagined, is your closest known friend.
I turned 29 a couple weeks ago
7 weeks on testosterone and I have never felt more in tune with the body I inhabit
every little change feels like a part of me I never got to meet until now
sometimes I wonder if what kind of person I would be if I had come to this realization sooner
but I know it took nearly every single one of those 25 years to break the rhetoric and all 4 years after that crafting a new identity from the old one
if you’re a late bloomer like me, it’s okay to mourn the time you lost trying to find yourself, but don’t regret the space you took up
you needed every uncomfortable second of it

I'm listening to the local college radio station and somehow it always makes music better to know there's someone at a desk who chose this music, and other listeners currently jamming to these tunes. Somewhere in this small town there are 10 other people who pulled up the station on this exact same website. I wonder what they're feeling? What was their day like? Have I ever met them?
Radio stations have a way of connecting us all.

I so badly want to make the world a better place. A more loving… a more understanding place. I want to give people an opportunity to understand why they feel certain emotions, or have certain thoughts, regardless of if they are perceived as good or bad by society. I want people to feel comfortable expressing their true emotions to those close to them. I want everyone to feel understood & heard & learn from each others mistakes! Unfortunately, right now I think the only way I can do that is by expressing my true emotions, desires & behaviours through creative music so that others can relate & find comfort…..a voice…a friend, or anything supportive!! I need to help, I have to, & I want to as I also needed & still need help too. So, I have dropped my mask & aspire to inspire others to lose theirs too. I am scared, but I am also optimistic! So, please if you have a moment, I would really appreciate & be so grateful for anyone who is able to check out my 2nd or 1st song. I will make a every 1-3 weeks! I cannot solely express all my emotions through one genre, so I will be using a variation of styles : ) thank you, stay safe, and I hope whoever is reading this has a good month, year, life & everything & anything else!
Here’s the link to my channel & a 30 second clip of my second song : )
Hope you like it!

I think people need to be more comfortable with illegalism and I’m not kidding. Of course the more legal something is, the safer and easier it is to do, but the more people who disregard the law, the harder it is to enforce. There are plenty of laws on the books that people just ignore and are never or rarely policed.
Becoming more comfortable with little illegal activities makes you more comfortable with bigger more important illegal activities. Additionally, it is crucial to build a wall of silence. Nobody talks everybody walks.
People who give out food without a permit, hold a march without a permit, grow a garden without a permit, are more likely to be people you could turn to to work with on preventing an eviction, or keeping people out of cop hands, or helping your friend Jane get crucial healthcare when it’s not legal in your state.
Communities comfortable with these acts won’t call the cops, and then nobody knows that it’s happening.
People have got to shift from both the idea that lawful = good/ illegal = bad, and that the illegality of something means that’s the end of it, and the only fight left is to make it legal again.

Something about messy art moves me. It's incomplete and makes me feel like there is still more I don't know, still more to figure out and complete.

"The sickness of the good child is they have no experience of other people being able to tolerate their badness. They have missed out a vital privilege accorded to the healthy child, that of being able to display envious, greedy, egomaniacal sides and yet be tolerated and loved never the less."

It's a shame that we always forget what emotions feel like right when they change. We forget loneliness as soon as we feel togetherness. What if it's better we remember those feelings so we can be grateful for where we've ended up? It's like I was built to self-sabotage by feeling uncomfortable in happiness.

The idea of english as a mother tongue is so strange to me, in my head english is how ppl communicate when there’s no way in common to communicate, so english as a mother tongue sounds a bit like idk email as a mother tongue ykwim? Like english to me feels like the stuff that’s used to fill the empty spaces between languages
