This show is still cheesy in it’s second season, however, it has gotten a lot better. I do have issues with some of the actors “acting” too much, if that makes sense.
Overall, if you’re debating watching it, it gets better in the last few episodes of Season One.

Flat Earth
The Flat Earth Theory really boggles my mind. Like why do people believe in a flat earth? Sure, it feels flat. But:
Do you not realize how large our planet is?
What would a curve feel like to you?
How would you expect to see a curve? Draw a sphere on a piece of paper and tell me how you expect to see a curve go down when it is out of your field of view.
The sun would not rise on the East and set on the West for everyone.
Why would the Earth be a flat circle and not a flat square or strange shape?
Why would there be an ice wall of 150 ft? Why is it 150 ft to begin with?
How are water currents explained?
The majority of people who believe that the earth is flat are creationists, and some of those individuals believe the earth is about 6,000 years old or so. How do you explain pangea? The North American continent and European continents are moving away from each other at about an inch per year, tracing Pangea to about 200 million years.
If we lived under a firmament (such as water) why has it not caved in if we are moving through space upwards? If we are under a dome that cannot be penetrated, how are there shooting stars? (Shooting stars are debris that fall into our atmosphere)
But NASA photoshops pictures of the planet! Well, yes. But you edit your pictures of yourself for Instagram, Facebook, etc. You adjust settings to your liking. Besides, NASA has released an unedited picture of our planet, and it looks more grey than blue. How depressing.
“But God says _____in the Bible.” Do you honestly believe that EVERYTHING about God is contained in one little book? Did miracles stop happening after the final edition of the Bible was constructed? Did nothing religious of sorts happen after Jesus? If God is so great, you would do more than just look at old scriptures. I doubt He stopped talking for the last couple millenia.
What is the point of conspiring against everyone that the Earth is a globe? NASA doesn’t account for much money in the big picture. Military spending, though, now that’s worth a look at.
“Pilots are tricked into thinking the Earth is round, by having them fly in an unnoticeable turn, and they are actually flying over a flat earth.” Yes, I’ve seen this argument, and I just think wow, the Earth is so large that when a pilot flies in a small curve, he won’t notice it. Yet you can’t believe that the earth curves when it feels flat. Rather interesting....
If the earth is flat, how far down does it go? Why does the planet not crumble like a cookie as it flows through space in an upward direction? Do tectonic plates not exist anymore?
How do compasses work on a Flat Earth? Flat magnets have a North and South side, but none that I have seen have a North in the dead center.
“But it looks flat when I fly.” Okay. You are either not high enough, or you are high enough and it looks flat to you. Much how you draw a “straight” line and then you put a ruler next to it and you get a little sad on the inside.
