Titan’s Curse is the only time he ever does anything for Annabeth, but even then, it’s mentioned that a) She’s been at a boarding school in New York with Thalia for the school year, and b) They’re moving cross-country without taking her into account. I don’t care if they were nice to Percy and the others when they were trying to get to Annabeth. The Chases’s have an obvious and repeated pattern of not caring about Annabeth, and she has every right to hate them. I do want to say, though, that Chiron might not be her biological father, but he is her dad in every way that counts.

i think they’re touchy people- Jamie has grown more comfortable with touch in season 2, letting the others hang off him, and he’s already shown to be touchy with his partners.

colinjamie have definitely watched the owl house at some point. maybe this is fresh in my head since the final episode just came out a few days ago, but i definitely see colinjamie watching the owl house together. two options:

maybe colin was chilling with his niece (i want colin to have a niece or a nephew so bad, he gives uncle vibes and also i want jamie to interact with the kid at some point too) and she was watching it and he got invested. and then jamie got invested via colin. one of my not-so-favorite things about rrverse fanfics is how often percy is described as clueless. like, i know it's all in good fun and for comedic value, but percy is incredibly perceptive. for the first twelve years of his life, he was raised in an abusive household and was consistently surrounded by people who would belittle him for shit he couldn't control. so being perceptive was likely a defense mechanism. then he was immediately thrust into a world with threats of godly proportions and monsters with the intent to kill. so it quickly became a survival tactic. the only time percy has ever been clueless was about people being romantically interested in him, which could definitely be chalked up to low self-esteem.

JJ isn't straight!

In episode 1 of season 1, John B describes JJ as a ladies' man, heartthrob, and basically down bad for any girl that has a heartbeat lol. Yet besides Kie (in episodes 9&10 of S3) and the one random girl he was in bed with (in episode 1 of S1)...he hasn't been with any female sexually or romantically in ALL 3 seasons of OBX. He has spent more time with Pope than any female in outer banks (including the female pogues.) So why is it assumed that JJ is straight? He has literally gotten more action with Pope than Kie. His sexuality was never confirmed straight, just as it was never confirmed gay or bi and etc. (THIS ALSO STANDS FOR OTHER CHARACTERS). It would be such a good character arc for JJ to realize the feelings he thought he had for Kie was just confused jealousy. He wasn't jealous because he wanted her but because he wanted to be her. (aka be in a relationship with Pope) But he thinks he's just confused and tries his hardest to love Kie, but it isn't working. He loves Kie but not in that way (just like Kie thought she loved Pope in that way). Especially the household he grew up in definitely gives off homophobic vibes from his father, which could have caused JJ to not even dare to even think of opening his horizons in his sexuality. He was locked in the closet that he didn't even know he was hiding in. Sleeping with girls here and there with no feelings attached is nothing. But actually, getting into a serious romantic relationship with Kie made him realize that this wasn't what he thought he wanted. She isn't who he thought he wanted. This storyline could benefit not only the characters, their relationships, the show's representation, the relatability of these characters, and so much more! Remember people, straight is not the default!
