I was in grade 5 when i discovered the masterpiece that is LOTR & so, naturally, I started writing my name in elvish when we would get handouts & the first time our student teacher handed back our graded papers he was like “🤨🥴😵‍💫 whose is this?” & I was like “mine!” & then by the 3rd time he just knew & for the rest of that school year I just continued writing my name in elvish like it was normal & I still think about it every night

Okay but Rings of Power did exactly what I wanted to see with Galadriel. It was her own arrogance, her own belief that she alone was right, that her way of doing things was the right way, that led to Sauron’s rule.

Galadriel jumps, and Sauron comes to Middle Earth.

She fucked up big time because Halbrand was right. He never pretended to be a King or anything but what he was, a smith and a fighter who befriended Galadriel out of necessity.

SHE made him King of the Southlands. SHE brought him to Eregion, SHE gave him the ability to take over Middle Earth.

And honestly? What a character journey and arc she’s gonna go through. I can’t wait.
