MRI and X-ray are medical machines that make false alarms in Back Pain. 1. X-rays and MRIs generally reinforce the fact that something is degenerated (a natural process), or broken or crooked - which is a common and extremely misguided idea about back pain. 2. X-rays and MRIs often do not give the exact cause of pain and do not guide in clarifying the situation. There are exceptions in some cases of severe and persistent low back pain.
