Representation in media matters
Whenever I see someone that looks like me I feel represented and today’s kids should feel represented too. With certain films, shows, books etc. being released throughout the modern age there should be way more representation for everyone of all ages that shed light to those differences and have them do normal activities that everyone else does.
Representation in media whether in the form of gender, sexuality, body type, skin color, disabilities, culture shouldn’t be some type of discussion for disagreement but should be expected to see many forms done with proper research and usage. Representation should also include those creating said media for those like them.
Let people enjoy their representation. So what if your comic character isn’t the same skin color as it was in the original comics, the personality can still be portrayed and that’s all that matters because what can a darker skin shade or different cultural background do other than add more plot to the story and challenge writers to create and learn.
So what if the character is being portrayed with a different sexuality or gender. The beauty and difference of the character can resonate with your change in finding out what you like and dislike about yourself compared to how you were when you were six. Not everyone is gonna be the same as you. So sit down and let others take the spotlight because what are you gonna use it for if you can’t even try to resonate with a character a little different than you.

I wish there were unlimited amount of time to rant about my favorite things in media, rewatch every gaming series, relearn my favorite topics and discuss them all over again

My girlfriend is so cute I can listen to her rant about anything nerdy for days, months, even years and never get tired of hearing about her talking about ghost face, fnaf, gorillaz or sonic. Seeing her excited about her interests makes me excited and wanting to know more about her through everything she loves.

he killed her
[id: It’s that image of Grant Gustin leaning over a grave though Hobie Brown has been drawn over him and Pavitr and Gwen are on other side of him leaning over. The three are drawn as they are depicted in the movie, though Hobie has an additional ear piercing and wears a patchwork skirt instead of his usual pants. The gravestone has been edited to say “Queen of England, 21 April, 1926– 8 Sept., 2022.” though the “Queen of England” bit has been crossed out in red and written over with “Parasite in Chief”. /end id]

Sometimes this also helps me face my fears of choosing a career or major because realistically every job takes the same amount to get the right enough experience and salary. Not every time are you gonna get lucky with a job that gives you a salary making 100k+ a year. It takes time and learning and obviously so does being a doctor but that doesn’t mean become a doctor that just means do whatever you want even if it takes that small percentage of your lifetime but also don’t let it consume you

the fact that anytime max tried to make it better for anyone in her life it never worked out and the storm kept happening. it was the point that chloe being saved was the reason but life would have been better with the versions of reality we sometimes wished for and in max’s case she could achieve it but in the end chloe was the reason so either you had to give up everyone or let her die but I felt her death made it feel more complete and the song in the end was amazing to use in comparison to letting everyone die

Like I could ramble about life is strange or about being my queer individual self etc. and not care about anything but rambling about every part of lore I like about everything I have consumed
One thing I love about Tumblr that wasn't a thing on Reddit is that I can just write whatever the fuck text post I want. No titles. No putting text on images. No algorithms or karma. Just fuckin splatter your mind onto the screen and people will see it. Like god intended.

Forcing People To Label Themselves Causes There To Be Less Community In The LGBTQ+ Community
The whole point of making queer as normal as it can be is not feeling entitled to know someone’s label.
So what if I don’t want to say my label of my gender or sexuality.
So what if a celebrity does the same it doesn’t matter.
No one is entitled to that information just appreciate the feeling that you know they are the same as you even if they aren’t outright saying they are. They are not taking anyone’s spot other than their very own if they share their thoughts on a gay newsletter.
The whole point of being who you are is not having to answer to anybody, be diverse of who that type of person you are or love. And most importantly having a community of people to understand you whether you label yourself or not.
