Stars were out, so was the moon. The clock was ticking on the wall as you waited for the last customer to leave the shop. So you could quickly head to your boyfriend's place.

After a couple of minutes deciding which boards they were going to choose. They finally chose one, it was one of them you made. To be honest you were super proud of it.

The design was simple but you've spent so much time designing and drawing it. The customer paid and left. As they left you quickly went to the door and locked it.

You did your normal chores, like mopping the floor, cleaning the display and dusting the shelves. Thank god you only work night shifts. You said goodbye to Oka and Sketchy.

You took your skateboard and headed towards Joe's place which wasn't too far from your workplace. Skating through the streets. You saw some places that looked fun and thought about some date ideas for you and Joe.

Finally arriving at his place you got off your board and knocked on his door. You waited a bit until you heard the door lock unlock.

He greeted you with an excited face. He let you in and you placed your board next to his. You took off your shoes and went and hug him.

"How was work today, princess?" He asked as he placed a kiss on your forehead.

You just hummed in response to his question. You were tired from today's work, even though not many came in. You just didn't sleep well.

You let go of him and walk towards his room and he follows you from behind. You went straight to his closet to pick out some clothes to wear. Since you were still wearing your 'work clothes', you picked out a white graphic tee.

Then you jumped onto his bed and simply laid there. You closed your eyes and relaxed your entire body. You felt a dip near you, it was just Joe.

You sat back up and went and slumped on Joe and just relaxed your whole entire body again.

Suddenly you just hear your phone ring every few seconds. You turned your body towards the nightstand, where your phone was.

You looked at your notifications and it was an unknown number. So you went and checked to see what the person texted to you.

It was along the lines of ' I know where you live, you know, I can come over whenever I want and make your life even more miserable.' to ' you're pathetic without me, you should have stayed with me instead being with that fkn goblin boyfriend of yours' you just closed your phone and just stared at nothing.

Joe turned himself towards you and he knew something wasn't right.

"Hey you okay?" He asked as he scooted closer to you.

"Yeah I'm fine, I'm just tired because I didn't sleep well yesterday." You answered but of course it was kinda a lie. True you were tired but it wasn't just that. It was the fact that your ex-boyfriend threatened you. Of course, he knew where you live but what if he actually came over and started banging on your door like a mad man.

You just had so many thoughts about what he would do. You thought about many scenarios in your head. You were just overthinking over the texts he sent you.

" I know you are not fine, princess. I can see clearly on your face that something is bothering you." He said.

You sighed and just told him the same thing. But of course he kept asking if you were fine.

You were still in your head. Still thinking about scenarios that would never happen. You just felt Joe snatching your phone without warning.

"Your ex?" He asked as he was reading the threats that your ex sent to you. You didn't even fight back to get your phone back you just let it happen.

"Yeah..." you murmured, you were fiddling with your rings to avoid Joe's eye contact.

"Princess, why did you hide this? I know you just received them but please tell me if he ever sends you these threats again and if you're scared that he will actually come, you can move in with me until you feel safe again." He said softly.

"I'm sorry if I didn't tell you immediately, I was just shocked that he got my phone number even though I changed it. I just have too many things on my mind right now. I'm sorry." You sniffled a little. You were still in the process of healing from your past relationship.

For context, he cheated on you, he lied to you, he forced you to do stuff that you weren't comfortable with. You just kinda gave up. You kinda just let him do whatever he wants at that point.

But then one day you were just at the skatepark, just chilling and relaxing while looking at the sunset.

You then saw Joe, he was so handsome, his toned abs were everything, he had girls around him but then you both made eye contact, he smiled at you and you just turned your head away from his eyes.

You were blushing, your heart was slightly beating. You missed this feeling, like how you meant your ex for the first time during high school. But that feeling left when he showed his true colors.

The rainbow faded, clouds hid the sun, you were in the cold rain alone and hurt but then he came in and your world wasn't as gloomy. Flowers bloomed again but the sky was still gray.

You were about to leave the skatepark until you saw a pair of shoes in front you. You looked up to see Joe.

"Hey, can I have your number?" He asked shyly.

"Uh yes yes you can have my number" you stuttered a bit.

Later you caught your ex cheating on you and after that, a few months later you and Joe hit it off.

Anyways back to reality. You were Joe's grasped comforting you. Caressing your head, playing with your hair, it really soothes you. All of the thoughts about your ex just left your head.

"I'm sorry for not telling you again." You said while you were hugging him.

"Stop apologizing, it's fine, just please if you don't feel okay tell me and I'll try my best to comfort you. Since you are feeling a bit better, do you want some pizza? I made some earlier at my restaurant." He told you.

You nodded and sat up. You wiped off some small tears and stood up. Joe got up and you both walked towards the kitchen.

You both later ate and slept on the couch while the tv was playing a random show. You finally felt comfortable and all of your worries about your ex just left. Joe really did make you feel that he was your safe space.

“Heard what?” Another asked as she covered her mouth with her hand.

“Sakusa, the hot germaphobe volleyball player, is supposedly dating someone in school.” The first girl said.

“Oh my god really? She must have kinda a hard time getting physical affection since you know he’s a germaphobe, but she’s a lucky girl to have a boyfriend this hot.”

You just ignored them, you walked towards your homeroom and went to your assigned seat. You waited for the rest of the class to come in. You rested your chin on your palm as you looked out onto the snowy scenery of the school grounds.

“Y/n!” Someone repeatedly said your name. After the third time they called your name, you turned your head with a slight irk on your forehead. You looked up to see your friend's face, ayaki, you met her during the end of middle school.

“Oh it’s just you, yes ayaki?” You said, you bet to yourself that it was probably Sakusa, since that’s what everyone has been talking about.

“Sakusa is dating someone!” She exclaimed but in a whisper. If I had another me I could've gotten 50 bucks.

She pulled out the chair next to you and sat down and started talking about the rumor. You had a slight smirk on your face thinking that, sakusa’s girlfriend was right in front of her own two eyes, but you didn’t say anything and just listened to what she has to say about the news.

The teacher later came in and ayaki left the spot for your other classmate to sit in. He told everyone to go back to their assigned seats, he later then started class.

A few hours has past, it is now lunch time, your favorite time of the day, its not last period because after that last class you had volleyball, not that you hate it, it was just tiring after a long day of teachers talking.

You left class with Ayaki then separated because you needed to head to your locker to drop off and grab a few things.

You opened your locker to see a neatly folded gray zip up hoodie and inside there were a couple of bags of hand warmers and a little letter.

You opened the letter to read it.

Morning or good afternoon princess,

I know you get cold easily so here’s a jacket and some hand warmers to keep you warm during class!

You smiled at the letter and you placed it in your wallet and wore the hoodie and placed the hand warmers in the pockets of it.

You grabbed your lunch and walked towards the cafeteria. You walked a bit until you spotted your friends. You walked towards them and one of them noticed you.

“When did you buy that?” Mina asked, she was the one who noticed you.

“Huh this? A while ago…” you placed your lunchbox down onto the table and sat down next to ayaki.

“It doesn't smell like the normal detergent you use.” Ayaki said.

“Why are you smelling me?” You said as you scooted a bit further away from her.

“Wait, it's not detergent, it smells like cologne!” She pointed out.

“Huh what do you mean?”

“You don’t wear cologne Y/n” she said.

You just chuckled nervously and continued eating your bento that your mom made.

“Who’s the lucky boy?” One of the girls smirked at you.

“Sa- no one” you quickly corrected yourself, you said that without thinking hopefully they didn’t hear the first part.

“Who?”

I thought to myself if I should keep it a secret or tell them. But either way it's gonna get out. So what’s the point of not telling them?

“Sakusa…” you whispered

They all looked at you shocked. Ayaki was even more shocked than the rest of the groups.

“So-” before one of them could say anything you shushed her before she continued her sentence.

“He doesn't want it to get out of hand.” I told them.

They nodded and we walked out the cafeteria and went to our next class. The teacher later came in and started class.

An hour has passed, class ended. I packed my bag then said bye to a couple of my classmates and left to go to practice, I bud goodbye to a couple of my classmates and left to go get my stuff

On my way there I see a familiar silhouette near my locker. I ran up to the person and hugged the person from behind. He was startled but he knew who it was. He turned his head and looked at the arms wrapped around his waist. He turned his body and he is now facing you.

“Hi” Was all you said as you took your arms off him.

“Hi princess, how was your day today?” he asked “Were you cold?”

“Nope, thanks to someone and it was alright” you answered.

You opened your locker and took out the necessities for volleyball and closed it. You both walked to the gym, he then continued walking with you towards your gym.

“Thanks for walking me. You should go before you're late for your practice.” You told him.

“It’s fine, we meet up at the same spot?” he asked while adjusting his sport bag.

“Yup, I’ll text you when I'm done with practice.” You informed him.

You bid your goodbyes and went inside the gym. You heard some of your teammates whisper saying like ‘was that Sakusa with Y/n?’ to ‘Is she the lucky girl?’. You just shrugged it off and went to change into your gym clothes.

After practice, you got stopped by some of your teammates. You were just about to leave but no, they have to interrogate you about the situation with Sakusa.

“Hey Y/n are the supposed rumored girlfriend of Sakusa?” Hanon, the libero of the team, asked.

To be honest, your volleyball team was kinda like your second family. You knew all the members since day one of high school. You sighed and told them the truth but you also told them to keep it secret until you and Sakusa are ready to be i guess public?

They were honestly shocked, because who would have thought Sakusa, the germaphobe of Itachiyama would have a girlfriend. A loving and an affection one to be specific. You try not to bother him too much, since he is mostly focusing on his volleyball career and you don’t want to distract him too much.

You left the gym and texted Sakusa saying you were done with practice. He answered with ‘you know where to meet’. You smiled at the text and walked towards the location that he mentioned before practice.

You walked towards a tree, but it wasn’t any ordinary tree, it was the tree where you both confessed. You see his back leaning against the tree, with his hands in his winter jacket pockets. You ran up to him and hugged him. He was of course startled since he wasn’t used to skinship with others. He hugged back and you two walked towards the train station.

You had your hands in your pockets to keep them warm but then you felt another hand in your pocket. It was Kiyoomi's hand, he was like your personal handwarmer.

You came running from the kitchen, you hugged him as he finished taking off his shoes. He hugged you back, you both stayed there until you latched off.

"Why are you wearing an apron, you barely cook." He asked you while looking at you with your apron that was covered with flour and some specks of melted chocolate.

"I was making pastries, care to help?" You asked him.

" Of course, let me change into something more comfortable though." He told you as he was placing his gym bag on the floor.

As he walked to your bedroom, you walked back to the kitchen and started mixing the dry ingredients with wet one. You were so concentrated on mixing and not trying to spill,that you got scared as you felt a pair of arms slowly wrapping your waist, you jumped and turned your head to see who it was, Oikawa Toru, he's the owner of the pair arms. I just let him do it, I turned back around and started mixing again.

He helped me here and then. I tried to take the cupcake pan but it was too high up on the shelves. So I tried to call Oikawa, but he couldn't hear me. He was probably concentrating on his homework, he listens to music while he does his work. I didn't go to him because he was concentrating and I didn't want to disturb him too much.

So I tried to get it myself. I stood up on the counter to reach the shelf where it had the pan. I was standing on my tiptoes so my balance wasn't great. I think I stepped on a cloth, which made me slip.

*Thud*

"Ow! f*ck f*ck f*ck! That hurts so bad" I screamed in pain since my dumbass decided to go on my tippy toes. On the edge of a counter that is like half of my body's height.

I heard someone rushing down from the stairs, who else lives with me. Oikawa came to me and to see what happened since he heard a loud thud. He looked at me, on the ground in pain.

"Why didn't you call me or something?" He said while trying to help me up

"I did but I figured that you were doing your homework and I didn't want to break your concentration and..." I sighed after, I was still in pain. My butt and my back were in so much pain. The floors in the kitchen were made in wood, not carpet. Because if it was carpet it would be annoying to clean.

"Where are you hurt?" He asked me and he was caressing me at the same time as he said it.

"My lower back" I said in pain.

"Okay, imma help you go lay on the couch. Lay stomach first, I'll get some ice to ease the pain." He smiled.

I tried to get up with the help of Oikawa. I limped a bit while making our way to the couch. As I lay, I slowly turned my back upwards so Oikawa could put ice on my back. It felt a bit better. I was still in pain though.

*some time later*

My back felt better, I fell asleep after he had put the ice on my back and he massaged the area too. I slowly got up so I wouldn't hurt my back. As I got up, Oikawa came into the room I was staying in.

"Who told you could get up?"

"I don't feel like laying down anymore." I groaned at him

"But still you're quite injured." he said as he walked towards me.

He picked me up slowly and brought me upstairs to our shared bedroom. He slowly plopped me down on the bed.

"Don't move, i'm going to get more ice for your back."

I nodded and stayed there. Doing nothing. I wanted to bake some milk bread and some cookies so we could eat later at night or just as a snack to eat.

"Here you go! Rest and imma do some things downstairs"He smiled. Before he left he gave a peck on the forehead.

*3rd pov*

Oikawa left the room with you in it. He went downstairs to the kitchen. He cleaned up the mess you made.

He heard you sit up."Nooo~ Come and sit next to me while eat them." You groaned from the bed you two shared.

He quickly turned and placed the tray on the blanket and plopped next to you and the both of you started munching on the pastries he made.

It was early June, sunsets at 6pm. It was the perfect time to out and bask in the sunset. You told your parents that you were going to the park to see the sun set. You also decided to call your boyfriend to come and watch the sunset with you.

"Hello?" he responded

"Hi love! I was wondering if you want to meet at the park to watch the sunset with me?" You asked him, you were walking to park while you were on call with him.

"Sure, which park is it?" He questioned.

"The one near my place. Remember where we had a picnic at?" You commented.

"Of course I remember, I remember each and every date we had!" He said proudly.

"Alright, I'm here already. I guess I'll wait for you?" You told him.

"I'll be there in a few minutes." he answered.

"Ok bye" you bid goodbye and hung up the phone.

You arrived at the spot where you had your picnic date. You were wearing his hoodie, to be specific his favorite one. You sat on grass and waited.

You suddenly heard your name from far away. You recognized the voice. It was his voice, Hinata Shoyō's voice. You stood up to hug him. You both stayed there until he commented.

"Is this mine? When did you take it?"

"A while ago" you murmured softly.

"Anyways shall we watch the sunset?"he asked you while holding your hand.

You nodded and you both sat down. A bit later, you both were in a snuggling position. His back was on a tree, you between his legs. His arms wrapped tightly around you. He then spoke up to break the silence, your eyes were still fixed to the sun that was slowly setting.

"How was day love?"

"It was fine, sorry if I didn't go see your practice today, I was busy doing some stuff." You said softly.

"It's fine, at least you came to my other practices." He said while putting his chin on your shoulder, his arms are still around your waist. You were happy to have him. He always made you happy, he was your ball of sunshine when you were gloomy.

"How was yours?" You asked him

"It was surprisingly good, practice was also fun, we had a practice match against a nearby school. And finally getting to spend time with you."

You blushed, you turned your head and your eyes met with his as you turned your head. You both smiled. You started laughing from out of the blue.

"What's funny?" He said in confusion while you were just laughing.

"I don't know.." your laugh slowly died off after saying that.

You wiped off a tear from laughing too much.

"How's Natsu? I haven't seen her since the last time I went to your place." I asked, Natsu is also a ball of sunshine. I wished I had a little sibling but I'm a single child.

"She's doing great, she misses you too!" He told me.

"I'll probably come over tomorrow. Also should we go since it's quite dark." You asked.

"Yeah we should, let me walk to your place and I'll say a hello to your parents too." He said while getting up. As stood he gave you his hand to help you get up.

You took his hand and said thank you as you stood. The two of you left the park and started walking to your house. It wasn't far, it was just a few blocks away.

You arrived and your place. You unlock the door, Hinata follows from behind.

"I'm home, Hinata is here too!" You announced to your parents.

Your mom and dad came rushing out from the living room to say hi to your boyfriend.

"Hello there Mrs and Mr (l/n)!" He said warmly.

"Ahh how many times do I have to tell you Hinata, call us mom and dad." Your mom scolded softly.

"Im sorry, I'm just not used to it but I'll get used to it." He said while rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment.

"Alright then, it's getting late you should head back now, it's really late and I don't want your parents to worry about you." Your mother commanded.

"Oh yeah, alright bye y/n see you tomorrow!" He announced

"Wait!" You shouted softly. You walked and went on your tippy toes and kissed his cheek.

"Bye!"

He took his hand and covered his cheek where you kissed.

"Uh- I yeah see you tomorrow." He stuttered.

You waved goodbye, so did he. You locked the doors as he left the house, you smiled because you were happy and glad that you had someone as special as him. You walked up to your bedroom and finished your work that you didn't finish. Then you went to bed...

You saw who it was... it was your boyfriend Kuroo. "What're you doing here, aren't you supposed to be at practice.?" you asked him while taking off your apron. It was quiet anyways, so you decided to close early today. You walked out from behind the counters.

"Yeah but we finished early today and I wanted to walk you home today anyway." he smiled. "Can you wait a while? I have to clean up the shop."you told him.

"Of course take your time princess." He sat down on a nearby chair. You tied up your hair and you walked up to Kuroo and you gave him a peck on the cheek before you started cleaning.

"Phew, finally see it didn't take long" you grabbed your coat and bag. You walked out and you saw Kuroo sleeping. He looked peaceful but you needed to wake him up. "Kuroo-san?'' you started to shake him softly.

"Mhmm.. Five more minutes" he groaned. This boy. You smiled at him. You then took the chair that was next to him and sat there for five minutes.

After five minutes, you shook him again to wake him up. Why did he come over, he could have gone straight home. "Babe, it's been five minutes. We need to leave the cafe. You can stay over at my place tonight" you said to him softly while playing with his black hair.

He slowly opened his eyes when he heard 'you can stay over at my place tonight'. This goof,you knew he would wake up when you said those words.

He yawned and stretched, he then took his bags and he got up. You also got up. You both placed back the chair and walked to the entrance of the cafe. You flicked off the lights of the cafe and he opened the door and said

"Ladies first" as he smirked at you. "What a gentleman, but I still have to lock the doors." you chuckled.

He left the cafe and waited behind you as you locked the doors. "Ready!" you smiled at him when you were done locking the doors.

"How was your day today?" he suddenly said, since it was getting a bit awkward after you guys started walking.

"It was fine, but also boring." you told him while you were holding his hands.

"How was yours?" you asked back. "Like usual I guess. Oh wait I bought you something while I was on the way to the cafe." He then stopped walking and opened his bag. You looked confused as to why he would buy something. It wasn't your birthday either.

He took out a small white box. "Here" he said while giving it to you.

"Why? You didn't have to buy me anything." you said. You still took the box, to see what it was. You open the box to see a bracelet.

He showed you his wrist, where it had the same bracelet that was in the box. He took the bracelet from the box and grabbed your wrist to put on the accessory.

"See now we are matching." He smiled. " You goofball." You said as you looked at him. You got on your tippy toes and kissed him on the lips. He of course kissed you back.

"What was that for?" he said immediately after you kissed him.

"What? I can't kiss my own boyfriend?" He let out a sigh and said "How did I get a girlfriend like you?"

"Luck? Or faith?" You shrugged. You held his hand and then you pursued to walk to your place...
