New beginnings.
chapter 0.3
Tumblr media
They all finally left the little village. Each of them a bit quiet then when they originally arrived ,but unlike a sad atmosphere it once was now one of peace. They had learned and now they needed time to process things.
Venti seemed to be looking down on the clouds Appa was flying over. Stretching her Hand as if she wants to touch the cloud. Occasionally Katara would ask some questions to the girl and so Would venti.
Aang was flying Appa in his train of thoughts. No one disturbed him. Everyone gave him time to collect his thought. He was the one who seemed to be affected by this the most.
Katara was sewing her clothes that sokka had torn and Sokka. Well... He was looking at venti ever too curious
"So what magic trick can you do?" Sokka finally asked venti. "In your songs you talked about a magice carpet. Do you have it with you." He beamed
"What magic trick do you want me to show you? And no That was just a song, Sokka ,but I can make a carpet fly." Venti pulled her hand back from the clouds and faced the boy with a smile.
"Awesome! how about something that can help with fighting. Can you something like that?" Sokka continued to make some punching sounds in the air.
"Here let me show you." Venti stood up on appa's little mat. Katara leaving her sewing behind and Aang letting go of appa's ropes to look at the girl.
Venti walked over to just about the edge and extended her arms out to the clouds.
"The clouds are made out of air and water. If I can put it under extreme pressure." She put her hand in a stiff and powerful bending position.
Everyone watched as a piece of cloud flouted and placed itself on her hand. She seemed to have a look of struggling as her eyebrows were together and her hand slightly shaking.
Everyone watched as the cloud spun itself in a fast speed before completing stopping and evaporating away. But something was left. It seemed like a ice shard. No more than the size of a tooth pic.
" You can create ice." Venti fished her sentence as she held the ice pick on her hand.
"Wow cool!" Aang walked over to get a closer look. So did Katara.
"How did you do that. Isn't that water bending?" Katar questioned as she took the pick from Venti to investigate further, Aang following around as Katara held it.
" That's it?" Sokka replied bored.
"What do you mean sokka. Venti just did some water bending but she's an Airbender." Aang defended her.
"Well it's not water bending to say. I'm not the Avatar. But water does have some elements of Air and hence why I am control a small part of it." Venti explained to them.
"Wait." Katara opened her water cap to bend a small ball of water out. "Can you bend this?"
Venti extended her fingers out focused on the ball of water that katara was holding.
"Let go in 3...2...1."
Katara let go of any bending she was still holding on her water ball. The water splashed into appa's carpet.
If someone like Aang was not paying attention they would fail to miss just the little droplet of water that still stayed and hovered in the air for a second longer than the rest.
"Ha, nope not a water bender." Venti Chuckled.
"What else do you know?" Aang asked enthusiasticly.
Venti held her hand in a thinking motion as if she was in deep thought. "I can sand bend, but that's not special. Every Airbender can do that."
"Have you meet other Airbenders?" Aang asked again innocently curious about the other Airbenders that mangaered to escape the mass murder of almost all Airbenders.
"Yeah I have! There's Malan. She's great you'd love her she's like an earth bender but with air. She uses the air and surrounds rocks with it and bends it." Venti chuckled at the memory "I remember her using that technique to prove she was an 'earthbender' after the firenation got suspicious as to why there was wind on a sunny hot day."
Venti continued to laugh with tears prickling from her eyes. Noticing how Aang had a somber smile on his face as he looked at her laugh.
"I'm sorry Aang."
"Don't be. I'm actually happy to know that I'm not the last Airbender." Aang crossed his leg to sit down on the carpet with a happy smile on his face.
"ARG! Enough about this. Venti you do have money right. We can stop by somewhere and get some food real quick." Sokka said as his stomach started rumbling.
"Sure." Venti crawled over to her bag. Searching before she suddenly stops and slowly turns to sokka. Katara scolding him about how they just ate
"I take back what I said..." She hesitantly smiled. "I don't have my money bag." Venti held her head in frustration "Rohan that earthbeding snake."
"NOOO" sokka exaduraded as he slowly slumped down. His growling stomach accompanied him.
"Come one Sokka we can hunt for food like we alway do." Katara set down to pick up her sewing work"
"Yeah and I can also help." Venti said enthusiastic but sokka only replied with hungry groans.
"It's not the same~" he moaned out as he faked cried.
Aang stoop up from the mat to go sit on Appa's head. He turned to face us with a bright and beaming smile. "It's also getting late. We should let Appa rest too."
Aang flew Appa down and they landed in an area that was covered in trees. Once they were down venti and Katara started setting up camp to sleep on.
Sokka was the first to go get fire wood with Aang as Katara was taking out their sleeping bags.
Once sokka was back he threw the fire wood in a pile and slouched into his sleeping back.
"Goodnight you all." He said in a sad and lazy tone
"Sokka the sun is still setting."
"No food, No sokka."
Aang deadplaned at him. He moved to go grab something to start a small fire with so they could get warm before night actually began.
Katara stood up to go fetch some water from the rivers. Leaving Aang ,who was zoned out in the fire, and Venti who was going through her bag.
"So what's the plan, Mr avatar." Venti asked while she was still shuffling through her bag. "You mastered every element or?"
"No." Aang pulled his knees closer to his face.
Venti decided to not say anything and wait until Aang was ready to continue.
"Water is next, then earth and then fire."
Aang said still focused on the flickering flame.
Venti nodded at his answer. "And air."
Aang turned to look at her with a confused face. "What do you mean? "
"I might have not been raised in the temples ,but I do know quite a few things you might not know and hey you might teach me a thing or too."
Katara finally returned from fetching the water. By now the sun had fully set the sky was a deep purple colour.
Katara took a seat next to Aang around the fire while venti was still standing beside Appa.
"Tell me about the temples. I've only heard about them through stories and songs."
Aang seemed to light up at the idea of that.
"Even better we'll take you to the temples."
"I don't think that's a good idea." Katara inturpted. "We need to get you to the northern tribe so you can learn Water bending, remember."
Aang sloched at katara's comment.
"I mean katara's right. We should probably focus on your avatar duty. I can always go visit the temples after." Venti tried to cheer up.
A yawn found itself into venti's mouth.
"I'm gonna join sokka in the dream relm." Venti walked over to her sleeping bag that was on the other side of sokka's bag. Just one meter away from earth other. She patted it down before climbing in to close her eyes.
Leaving Aang and Katara to enjoy the heat from the fire that continued to burn bright.

Goodbyes.
Chapter 0.2
Tumblr media
After everyone had calmed down and took a breath. The young dancer had prepared some tea and a seat of cushions where everyone could sit.
Sokka inspected the tea he was holding hesitant to drink it. Katara was quitely drinking her tea. Aang had not touched his tea. His face seemed lost as millions of thoughts ran through his head.
"I don't understand." Aang broke the silence. " I thought there were no Airbenders left... I- I thought I was the last one."
The young dancer looked sadly at the avatars sorrowful expression.
"Well. The fire nation did Kill all the airbenders a hundred years ago, but my Grandmother left the temples long before that. She was Rebellious. She didn't want to follow the ways of the temple, so she packed her bags and started a life here in the earthkindom." The young dancers smiled as she recalled the story her grandfather told her. "She was young, reckless and impulsive ,but her actions are what lead to me. The only airbender in our little village."
"Wow, your grandmother sounds like an adventurous person." Katara complimented the girl, as she set her cup of finished tea to the side.
" Thank you... I never got your names." The young dancer asked.
" I'm katara, this is my brother sokka." She guided her hands to sokka's direction. " And this is Aang." She pointed to Aang.
"My name is Venti, but you already knew that" The girl was interupted by a strange young guard calling her to the side. "Excuse me for a moment."
Once the dancer was out katara and sokka turned their attention to the Avatar who hadn't said anything since. The two weren't use to this serious Aang.
"Hey Aang, how are you holding up." Katara put her hand at the back of his back to comfort him.
"Yeah, I'm just a bit shocked. I mean everything I thought I knew is." Aang paused his words. "Is not."
Sokka finally sipped his tea. The aroma and taste earning a face from him. Somehow it tastes sour and not sweet. He did not like it.
The three stayed in silence for a few minutes not wanting to bother the other ones train of thoughts.
Katara as she was worried about Aang. Aang who had a million questions running through his mind and Sokka who was curious about the lifestyle this woman was living.
"Oh sorry for that." Venti entered the tent in a completely different outfit. It was a fitted luxurious green with fine silk, comfortable for her to move around without worrying about her movements.
Aang noticed the small cloud patterns on the silk, the detail in this outfit must have taken a fortune.
" It seems king Bumi had a plan up his sleeve." The young girl quickly walked over to the three. Holding a little letter in her hand waving it around before she handed it to Katara.
"Bumi knew?" Aang turned to face Katara who was reading the letter.
"Yes. He's been giving refuge to me and my little village. It's all thanks to him that I'm even able to do my performances." Venti started to pack her side bag. The bag contrasted with her whole outfit. Unlike it being green it resembled Aang's outfit. It was a old orange and a dark red. "If you don't mind, we can stop by my village. I'm sure some of your questions will get there answer ,Avatar."
"Just Aang is fine." Aang scratched his head once he heard her call him by his title.
The four exited the tent. Aang leading quietly in the front as he was gathering all his thoughts. Sokka at the back, as he was given a little snack to keep him busy.( It seemed to taste better than the tea ) and Katara in the middle with Venti trying to know the girl better as they kept chatting to each other.
"So we're the same age." Katara laughed. " What a coincidence."
"And I'm surprised you are not the older sibling." Venti commented as they continued to walk to Appa. Referring to how Katara seemed like the more mature one between the two.
"So you are leaving all your stuff here?" Katara asked.
" Yes and No. They all technically belong to the king. I'll only be taking the things I see as necessary."
A loud groan and squeak shocked the girls from her conversation making venti put her arms out in defense ,but they were brought down at the sight of the fluffy cloud in front of her... She smiled.
" A BISON!" she screamed as she pointed to Appa. Running to go engulf the bison in a hug. Appa only licked her in response.
Aang watched as Venti and Appa interacted. A small smile present on his face.
Everyone climbed onto Appa. The Avatar ridding Appa's head as he prepared to take off.
"Yip yip." Aang lightly tagged the ropes to Appa's horns. A small gasp was faintly heard from the Dancer.
Not a second later the young girl crawled on the sitting pad moved closer to the Avatar.
"Avatar, oh I mean Aang. Where did you get yourself a Bison?! And a flying lemur?!" Venti beamed with bright eyes.
" Appa has been with me in the ice burg and we found Momo in one of the Airbender temples." Aang happily answered.
" They are wonderful friends. The people from my village will be filled with joy when they see you and your friends." Venti giggled as she reached out her hand to touch Appa's soft fur.
"Oh right, you must go underneath that mountain arch." Venti instructed.
Appa flew down the mountain arch, darkness becoming more as the sun was almost out of their eye site. The further underneath the arch the more cold and sandy it became.
" Katara, sokka hold onto something." Venti screamed loudly at the two siblings as the sounds of wind started to become loud. Sokka held onto Appa and Katara took the safer option and held onto Appa's seat.  "Aang, get ready to turn left when I say."
Venti kneeled properly on Appa's pad. She held out her right hand and her left supporting her other hand. Aang watched curiously to see her bend. Venti took a short breath in, she focused her bending into one spot and continuously bended more air into that spot. A short silence engulfed everyone as the compressed air was let go. The pressure stopping the wind that was furiously blowing from the front. Aang would describe it as an explosion. It was so powerful that it broke through the sound and nothing was heard.
"Aang now." Venti screamed, But Aang could only see her mouth move hearing nothing.
With one swift turn, Appa harsly turned and colladed with the soft grass, Appa failing to carry everyone after the turn. Aang let out a groan as he looked at the view infront of him. The grass was green and healthy as it could be. Small houses and mini temples resembling those of the eastern and northern air temple. The wind behind them continuing once more to blow. The village seemed to be enclosed in a forest like cave.
"We're here." Venti softly said still lying on the grass with the others.
Before anyone could react, their bodies a were weight down and traped by the earth. Making it impossible for them to move.
"Hey!" Sokka tried to wiggle himself out.
"Rohan it's me! " Venti screamed. An older tanned skinned man appeared from the bushes.
" I know." His dark and gloomy voice bommed threateningly. " But who are these three, did they force you to come here-." The slightly older earth bender couldn't finish his threatening speech as he laid eyes on Aangs tattoos. Zooned out, only to have Appa's loud groan that shakes the ground to snap him out.
The loud noise leading young eyes to run out of hiding. Four young kids ran giggling to the dancer.
" Aunty Venti."
"Aunty your back."
"Did you bring anything with you."
"Aunty is that big cloud yours."
Venti smiled at the kids behavior.
" Venti, what is this?" Rohan asked confused by what he was seeing in front of him.
" I'll explain after you let us go. And after I speak to my mom. " Venti looked at Rohan in the eyes. Soon after, the earth surrounding them disappeared. Everyone stood up and dusted themselves off.
The kids giggle more as they surrounded momo. The poor lemur scared of the eight eyes and forty fingers not giving him a second of a break. The moment momo saw a chance he flew to Aang's side and covered himself with his tail and ears.
Katara softly laughed at his response.
"Come on everyone." Venti called for everyone to follow her. They all walked in silence. Katara and sokka quietly looked around the hidden cave that flourished with plants and gaps of sunlight sunlight and Aang still having multiple thoughts run through his head.
"Mom! " Venti ran to hug the sickly woman who rested comfortably her bed. The two held each other for a little while.  Before the elder woman spoke.
" You came back early this time. I thought I would not see you for another month" The woman said happily to her daughter.
" That's because I found something, well someone." Venti stod up properly. She looked back to the three behind her.
"Aang." She signaled for him to come closer.
Aang walked closer and soon stood next to venti.
" Mom, this is Aang. The Av-"
"Avatar." Venti's mom interrupted midway through her sentence. She recognized those tattoos they were the ones she saw her own mother had when she was little.
Rohan let out a small whisper of 'i knew it' under his breath.
Behind his curious eyes on wonder ,Aang manged to let his voice out. " Are you an Airbender too?" He innocently asked.
"No no. The bending ability skipped me." The elderly woman said soflty." But my daughter makes up for all the years I would have missed. "
" I - I don't understand." Aang shakinly spoke in a hused whisper.
" What don't you understand, young child." The elderly woman encouraged him to speak.
Aang held his voice in for a moment. Everyone quiet not to disturb him. " I thought I was the only Airbender left. The rest of the temple. They- they are all dead."
The elderly woman let out a heavy sigh. " Aang, let me ask you something. Do all flying lemurs eat PincelPert fruit? "
"No-"
" The same applies with people. My mother ,  was an air nomad just like you were. She lived in the eastern air temple ,but she was not happy living her life as an air nomad. So she left everyone she knew to live her life in the earth kingdom. " Everyone listened in silence as the old woman talked. " In a population filled with thousands of people there are bound to be a few who break the rules."
The elderly woman let out a dry chuckle. " I can tell you right now that we probably aren't the only air bending family out there who survived. After 100 years  there are some of us who hide our bending well and continue to live in harmony with the rest."
"But ,but-" Aang outstretched his hands in a hurry
" I know of the fake refugee camps the fire nation orchestrated. Informing the Airbenders who escaped from the temples that they would find safety ,but all they met was death....Aang, a few of us Airbenders are gifted with so much bending possibilities that you can't even imagine. "
" I thought I was the last Airbender. " Aang hang his head in defeat. With the sudden shift of atmosphere Venti took action. She lightly put her hand on the avatars shoulder to give him comfort.
The atmosphere slightly shifted to a less tense one.
" Now everyone, who would like some steamed buns. Rohan go pack some steam buns for them to enjoy on their journey." The elderly woman gave a closed smile to the earthbender.
Rohan gave a nod to the woman. " And my daughter, you should also be packing for your journey ahead."
" Of course mom- wait what!" The young one exploded with shocks after her mother's worlds reached her.
" M-my journey."  She stuttered.
" Yes, Venti. Aang can help you improve your bending abilities greatly and so can you. You both need each other to complete your Destinies."
"Woah mom. I don't understand."  Venti held onto her mother's hands. Trying to understand what the women was saying.
She smiled at her daughter. "You are destined for great things, freedom, you must not live a life of worry and fear like I did. Go out there. Help Aang restore the balance to the world. Don't worry about us. We will be here waiting for you."
"Aang." She turned to look at the Avatar. "Be patient with her. She was not raised by monks her bending methods are questionable."
"Water tribe." She refers to Katara and sokka. "Welcome her as one of your own."
"Now go. Go. Hurry and finish so you can come back to babysit the kids."
"Mama-" venti hugged the elderly woman. "I promise I will be back as soon as I can."
Venti saw how Rohan was holding a small bag for her.
"I'll take care of her until you get back." Rohan referred to her mother. "Food and all the necessary are in here." Rohan handed venti who looked like she wanted to cry the bag.
Venti mouthed a quiet 'thank you' to the boy before taking a last look at her mom.
"Okay team Aang, Sokka, Venti, katara, momo and Appa." Venti put the bag across her shoulder.
"Let's do this."
.
.
.
.
"That's too long. We need to come up with something shorter." Sokka cringed at the roll call.
"Agreed." Venti lauged in response as they all walked out of the house. Venti waving goodbye at her mom and Rohan.

Chapter 0.1.
Tumblr media
Omashu
"So this crazy king is your old friend Bumi?' Katara asked curiously.
King Bumi turned to face the water tribe girl with an offended look, "Who are you calling old?"
...
"Okay, I'm old."
"Why did you do all of this instead of just telling Aang who you were?" Sokka still irritated by the fact that they were stuck in the rock Candy
"First of all, it's pretty fun messing with people." King Bumi snorted. "But I do have a reason." The atmosphere shifted to a serious tone.
"Aang, you have a difficult task ahead. The world has changed in the hundred years that you've been gone. It's the duty of the Avatar to restore balance to the world by defeating Fire Lord Ozai. You have much to learn. You must master the four elements and confront the Fire Lord. And when you do, I hope you will think like a mad genius." the kind looked around at his friend's "And it looks like you're in good hands. You'll need your friends to help defeat the Fire Nation." Bumi took a pause as Momo climbed on him.
"Thanks Bumi." Aang replied enthusiastically with a smile.
"Oh and before you leave." Two neatly dressed ladies came out holding a plate." Take these"
Bumi took the papers from the two ladies, revealing them to be tickes.
" What are these?" Sokka asked. 'Where these slips of money used in omashu or what?'He thought to himself as his eyes shined with greed.
"They are VIP tickets to see the performer Venti. I bought some for myself ,but I guess I bought to much." Bumi let out a giggle. " Now please go, trust me you don't want to miss the show." Bumi waved his hands dismissing the group. He started walking back to his castle room. Laughing along and muttering words no one could hear.
The three teens were left standing together Wondering why they were given tickets to see a performer.
" Well we better get going the show is starting at noon." Katara said as he looked at the tickets they were given.
The three arrived just in time for the open festival , a moment could be spared to buy snacks from the vindors. Aang and Sokka immediately moved to the food section.
One particular food that caught Katara's attention was on shaped of a cloud and arrows coming from the four sides of the could, creating a star in the middle.
"Hey aang look." Katara called out to show aang the interesting food, while sokka was already with a crowd of people anxious eating the food he bought as he waited for the performance in the front row.
"Hey it kinda looks like Appa." Aang whispered as he was handed the cloud cookie, but still loud for katara to hear.
Before katara could answer, sounds of people cheering could be heard, as tall men in Earth bending uniforms came marching behind each other in a neatly formed like. Aang and katara both rushed to join the crowd not wanting to miss a second of the show.
The three men on each side started stomping each of their feet hard enough that the stage started shaking. The instrument started playing from each side of the stage. In the middle a tall, tanned girl dressed in luxurious silks of the earth kingdom emerged. Her long black hair put in an elegant braid that could almost touch the floor.
The moment in that instant, Aang felt the colour drain from his face. The clothes the woman wore were the ones that most women from the Eastern Air template wore. Sure the colour had been green ,but Aang recognized those clothes. The women of the eastern air temple would often visit the southern temple so Aang wasn't a stranger to them.
Questions started to gather in Aang's mind. He wondered how this performer manage to get such sacred clothes.
The voice of the woman brought him back to focus on what was happening.
" Aang are you okay?" Katara asked for Aang's weird behavior. She watched as he looked mostly zoned out.
"Yeah I'm fine" Aang dismissed Katara.
Bringing his attention back to the performance the girl danced with grace as the earth benders created temples and figures of people behind her.
Now that Aang focused on the background dances and not on the main performer he noticed how the temples the earthbender's were bending resembles that of the Western Air temples. The temples were hanging upside down and kept popping out of the sandy wall before being pulled back into the wall by the Ender's abilities.
"Wait this song." Aang jumped up almost airbendering into the air.
"Yeah?" Katara asked next to him " it is nice isn't it." She said with a smile on her face. Her face focusing back on the main dancer.
" No its just. IT SOUNDA LIKE... THE AIRBENDERS LULLYBY!"
Aang screamed earning weird looks for the people around him. He know this song, the tempo and rhythm it had. The song would be hummed around the temples, it had no words so young monks would often make up their own words, allowing for creativity to form, but every monk and nun would always include a small line about the flying clouds that held the ability to fly and taught the Airbender how to fly
.
.
.
.
After the performance. The two immediately went to find Sokka who was on the front of the crowd and crying his heart out.
" That was beautiful." He said between sobs.
"Come on! I need to go talk to that Performer guys." Aang quickly walked infront of the group. Walking backstage to what seemed like a big white tent. He noticed the earthbender's who were in the background chilling on the side of the tent.
Before they could enter they were stopped ,by earth bending guards.
"Hey, what are doing. Let us through." Aang protested
"We can't let you through without a pass." One of the guards answered.
" Please this is very important, you see He is the Avatar and he needs to personally thank the performer for her amazing performance." Katara tried to reason with them earning no reaction from the gaurds.
"Hey!" Sokka shouted from the back. He walked towards the gaurds handing them the ticket that king Bumi gave them. The gurads inspected what Sokka was holding and let him pass.
Aang and Katara quickly did the same. Katara embarrassed about how she didn't think of that.
Inside the tent that was set up We're multiple papers and books scattered around. People inside were also chatting and laughing among themselves, but they weren't here for the after celebration. They were here to talk to the performer, Venti.
After the performance Aang started acting weird and had not said those many words to the two siblings. It seemed that the performance struck something inside him. Sokka too had the performance stuck in his head. He kept rumbling on about how he needs to fly on a magic cloud in the desert then his life goals would have been almost complete.
After some time of asking where they could find the performer. They finally found her.
She was inside another tent, a taller tent that resmbeled a watching tower from the outside, but her tent had no flooring. She was barefoot in the sand and stretching her legs.
"Ah, visitors." She quickly stood up properly. Her hands put to her side as she looked at the three infront of her. "You must have either paid a lot of money to personally see me or have good connections." She said with a hint of an accent.
"Yes, you see this is the Av-" Before Katara could finish Aang inturpted.
" How do you know that song!? WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE CLOTHES!? HOW DO YOU KNOW THESE DANCES?!"
Aang put on his most threatening voice and face he could. ( Which just ended up making him look less threatening.)
... " I got them from... A vendor. Yes a seller-" before the performer could answer Aang once again disturbed.
" YOU'RE LYING. NO ONE WOULD EVER SELL THOSE-" This seem to be a trend to interfere with another persons conversation , because Katara softly pushed Aang to the side.
"Excuse us. You see he." Katara motioned to   Aang who was now on the floor. " He is the Avatar and we would really like to know where you got your knowledge from."
...
"HE'S THE AVATAR!" The young performer seemed to have lost any elegance she had as she figured out the new information. Reacting in the same way Aang was acting earlier.
The performer dashed to the boy on the ground at a ridiculous speed that shocked Sokka.
Venti bent down to help the young Avatar from the floor and looked like she was about to say something before she stopped.
"Wait, how do I really know your the Avatar?" She pointed at Aang.
Aang simply didn't respond and jumped high in the air touching the highest point of the tent and came down ,but not touching the grass, clearly still using his bending to keep him afloat.
The young girl gasped before she also jumped into the air, descending down at a slow rate, she also kept herself afloat for a few more seconds before finally reaching the ground with a smile on her face.
.
.
.
Sokka was the first to faint... Then Aang.
This performer is definitely an Airbender

A journey of revenge
-> 1k words
-> Mizu x male reader
The romance is there... If you squint very hard.
Tumblr media
Mizu and Ringo were on their way to Edo. Why? simple Alijah was heading there with his army to kill the shogun and Mizu would be there to kill Alijah.
The plan was simple. The journey wouldn't be too long, but mizu wanted to see someone in a familiar shop that was along their path.
Mr Shoto's shop. He secretly sold explosives illegally to try and rise funds for himself and his twin boys ,but on the outside he was a rundown shop that sold food to anyone willing to eat there.
Mizu and Ringo stood outside the shop. Ringo's curious nature getting the better of him as he started to ask "what are we doing here, Master?" he asked innocently.
Mizu answered him with silence. "stay here Ringo, I'll be back." and just like that mizu left Ringo outside and stepped inside the rundown wodden shop.
It was empty. It made sense considering this was a food shop in the middle of the forest. Behind the counter was a man. He was behind the counter. Looking down at his book records.
He looked up at the sound of the wooden door closing. Before he could say anything. One of the twins run from behind the counter to mizu.
"uncle mizu!" he said so enthusiasticly. His other younger twin shyly following behind him "hello, uncle mizu." he said less enthusiasticly.
Mizu couldn't help but smile at the younger kids that came to embrace him.
She had often bought most of her explosive or any illegals the owner had. Not only because she needed them, but she wanted to help raise funds for the owner and his kids.
"There's my favorite customer." the owner said from behind the counter, Leaning on his side. The boys giggled cheerfully and run off to wherever ever they were going of to play.
"Nagi." mizu said with a small smile. Mizu and Nagi had an interesting history together.
Nagi was a young father, his wife was killed by samurais which lead to him hating Samurai's with his life. He swore to kill the one who took away the mother of his kids. Nagi soon wondered off and found swordfathers home, a sword maker where many Sumurai's come. It seemed like the God were smiling down on him, he hoped to catch and punish the one who wronged him.
Nagi watched from the shadows like a hawk. He watched the Sumurai's enter and leave, he watched the old blind man make swords for these evil, cruel man.
But... There was a child. Nagi noticed a small child that was following around the blind man. He looked small, thin, maybe 7 years younger than him.
At first he thought the blind man had bought the young child as a slave.
Nagi acted without thinking. When he saw the young child alone outside, gathering wood he rushed out from the shadows and tackled them to the ground, covering the child's mouth with their hand so they wouldn't attract the old man's attention.
The two tossed and turned until mizu bite Nagi's hand. "ouch! I'm trying to save you here." magi exclaimed as he slowly backed away from the child, who was still standing alarmed.
"I don't need saving." mizu took a stance that she had always observed from the Samurai's that always came here.
"what do you mean you don't need saving." Nagi said frustrated. "you're a slave for that man... Aren't you?"
"no."
Oh
"he takes care of me."
Nagi stood there like a fool trying to process what mizu said. Eventually Nagi left, but the two had bumped into each other from time to time.
Nagi's frustration and hate to the samurais was slowly being extinguished, the flames were started to yield and Nagi was finding peace, all because of mizu.
Mizu wanted to be a samurai, Nagi couldn't possibly think of killing any samurais after seeing this short little boy try so hard to weild a stick that clearly held more strength than him.
And so the two grew, Nagi opened up a restaurant, a face of what he really sold. He was never proud, but he needed a way to provide for his family, his boys.
Maybe if he saved enough he would move countires, flee and start a new life away from any deadly swords.
"so did you finally kill those white man?" Nagi brought mizu's attention back to Reality.
"no." mizu moved and took a set, Nagi following after her. "I'm going to kill one of them soon."
"Then what are you doing here?" he questioned the samurai.
Mizu placed a heavy pouche of money, filled with gold coins that could be used wherever in the world, on the table. "I came to give you money."
Nagi seemed confused at first.
"use this money to get away, far from Here, far from Japan. You... You and your kids can finally have a happy life." mizu said, her voice slightly slipping with emotions as she spoke.
"mizu." Nagi said her name breathlessly. "thank you." He accepted the pouche. This money would be more than enough. The samurai stood up from her seat, ready to leave.
Nagi reached out trying to say something. "Mizu, wait I-", but before he could say anything the twins rushed back into the shop. Giggling to each other as the proudly stood next to mizu. The oldest held out something, it was a miniature katana, made from sticks and tied together with leaves.
"we wanted to give you this, Uncle mizu." the twin said proudly. Mizu held the miniature sword in her hands, looking at it and looking back at the kids.
This warmed her cold, frozen heart.
She smiled. A genuine smile, a Rare smile, a smile like a proud mother.
She bended down and hugged bother the boys, embracing the young kids she grew to adore. "thank you, boys."
Mizu stood up and looked back at their father "you were saying."
"... Be careful." Nagi said, almost above a whisper.
Mizu noded at him before making her way outside, she was on her journey to Edo, a journey of revenge.

Tumblr media
Everywhere you went ,you were shoved around, ridiculed, called a freak and worse names by your "friends" , family and even complete strangers.
why?
Why?
Why where you different?
You were just like them. You breath the same toxic air as them, you ate the same rotting food as them ,but you could not hear the evil whispers of this world.
Your world was silent. You've never heard your voice, you never heard your parents voice ,all you've known since growing up is silence.
Today was like every other day. You were walking around the red light district, hurdled and pushed by the mass amounts of people who were coming back from work ,but today you noticed something different... We'll someone in the crowed opposite of you.
He was in a wheel chair. In front of the crowd. He had shoulder length golden hair was messy like he hadn't taken a bath in a week, his face seemed tired ,but you could see something in his eyes.
Hope?
.
.
.
Maybe ...
You couldn't pin point what you saw in his eyes ,but it was fierce. It intrigued you, a man in a wheelchair who had lost his ability to walk had... A lot of fight left in him ( if you could call it that).
Something you wanted. You wanted that fire in your eyes.
You felt the shoulders of others shoving you as they wanted to pass, You were standing in their way, You watched at the man slightly picked his head and held the wheels of his wheelchair, coming closer to you.
You stood frozen not in fear ,but in awe. Unconsciously, your gaze followed him until he noticed your stare, you couldn't look away... His eyes were captivating up close.
He looked away from you, passing you in your frozen state. You stood there watching the blinking red light of the robot crossway having a inner fight with yourself. A part of you wanted to go to the stranger, you did not know what you'll do ,but you just wanted to follow him another part of you wanted to go home.
.
.
.
Home?
.
.
.
Was it really home?
.
.
.
You took a breath and turned around, following the man in the wheelchair. Your eyes never left him, you were scared to lose sight of that yellow coloured wheelchair. Something inside of you was ignited.
You were stealthy ( well that's what you thought ). The man went into a sketchy alley. You paused in your steps, a bit scared at the thought of being mugged by thugs... But those eyes.
All rational thinking went out the window and you took a big step into the ally. You looked around ,but there was no sight of that familiar yellow wheelchair.
From behind you, your legs were hit with what seemed like a wet pipe and you fell to the floor with a thud. Your body colliding with the wet concrete floor. You turned your head around to see him.
He held the pipe in his hand. Ready to struck you. His mouth was moving ,but you could not hear what he was saying.
That look...
That captivating look left you starstruck. His eyes were fighting for his life. He was fighting for his pathetic life.
You wondered how he did it. You wanted to do it.
You saw how his grip on the pipe tighten with anger. It looked like he was getting irritated by your lack of response.
You scurried to the small notebook you had in your pocket. Taking the small sharpened pencil and writing on the page of the note book.
'im deaf.'
You held the notebook Infront of you. Observating the man's cautious yet gentle hands as he took the small book from you and read it. His face shifted from annoyance to a calmer look.
He glaced back at you. Your heart dropped ,but not with fear. A new feeling you've never experienced. His man with his dirty hair looked absolutely breathtaking.
He motioned to the pencil you were holding and you held it out to him. Once again his movements were cautious, but not too tough.
He wrote something in the note book and gave the book to you. You picked you hand up from the wet concrete, looking at the notebook as you wiped the dirty water on your clothes.
His handwriting was messy and rough. His words were not even written in a straight line ,but when you held that notebook in your hands you wanted to treasure it. You've always wanted to burn it, to get rid of it as it always reminded you what kind of a freak you were. How people had to use paper to just communicate to you ,but for once you appriciated it.
You were communicating with this stranger thanks to it.
'go home. Don't follow me.'
You looked up from the notebook. You were ready to hold your hand out for you pencil to reply to his comment ,but he was gone. He was no longer Infront on you.
You roughly stood up. Your clothes soaked ,but you ran out of the alleyway. Looking left and right in the crowd of people hoping to see that familiar yellow colour.
No
No
No
There it was! You almost jumped with excitement when you spotted him. You followed him again you would not let this unknown feeling out of your grasp this easily.
You were carful this time, hiding behind the crowd of people and keeping your distance.he turned into another Alley way, but this one didn't look as sketchy as the last one.
You didn't even know where you were. You hadn't been to this part of the city. This part of the city was horrible, it smelled and looked bad.
You saw a ramp that lead to a small apartment. The man in the wheelchair stopped Infront of it and looked at you.
He said something, but shook his head with realization. He held out is hand and pointed behind you telling you to leave.
You didn't want to leave. You wanted to stay, you wanted to get to know this man, he made you feel something you never felt. You've never wanted anything so bad.
You shook your head at him. Looking in his gorgeous his as his eyebrows perked up with curiosity.
You looked around for anything to write with, to tell him why you can't leave him.
He say how you were searching and held out the pencil he previously took from you. You stepped closer to him, purposely brushing your fingers against his when you grabbed the pencil from him. A small unnoticeable act to him ,but it made your heart pick up. His hands were cold and harsh contrasting your warm soft hands.
You tried to write in your book ,but your hand hovered above the page. What were you going to say... Ah!
'i can't leave. You make me feel alive. I've never felt like this.' with shaking hands you showed him the book.
His head tilted a bit to the side as he read what you said. His brows lightly furrowed, confused at how he could make you feel like that.
He look back at your eyes thinking it was prank ,but your eyes held so much warmth, so much determination that showed how serious you were.
He took the notebook and pen from your hands. His cold hands brushing against yours once again.
'how?'
He showed you what he wrote.
You took the book back into your hands. Unsure of how to describe it. It was an overwhelming feeling, a scary one.
'you have a strong will to keep on living.'
When he saw the note he let out a low chuckle. He thought how could you even call this living. He was not living, he could barley keep his stomach full after they fired him, he lives in a small rundown apartment that gets moist I. This weather, fungi and moss growing on his narrow walls yet you saw his will strong.
He admired your courage or was it stupidity. You were a deaf girl ,but you followed a complete stranger trusting that he wouldn't rob you, after he knocked you with a pipe.
He took the notebook and pen from you once again.
He wrote something and put it back into your hands before wheeling away to his tiny apartment, closing the metal door after him.
You tried to follow him but the door was shut into your face. You looked down at the words he wrote
'go home kid.'
You were not going to give up. Mastering any fight left in you, you knocked on his metal door ,but he did not open the door.
You were not going to give up!
You sat Infront of his door, crossing your legs in a comfortable position as you took in the blue colour hue of this side of the apartments. This was the plan, sitting her and waiting for him to come out.
You wont go back home (if it couldn't even be called that).
You refused to go back to that place where you weren't needed.

The fall of Illian.

Chapter 1
Tumblr media
Bold = Korean
Not bold = English
---------------------------------------------
My name is Senara. Nara, for short. I'm a young unemploymend woman who moved to South Korea.
Why did I move here? Simple. My uncle recently passed away and I inherited his house.
I lived in New York before, Worked as a part timer in a family restaurant. My life was hell, Literally. Waking up everyday to work from nine in the morning until four in the afternoon, getting paid the minimum wage just for all the money to go to rent and food.
I can't even remember the last time I spent money on luxury things I wanted.
Now, I stand here in a stuffy, dirty house my Uncle owned. I was never close with my uncle. I myself am surprised that he left the house for me, but I am Greatful. He gave me another chance to start a new life in South Korea, the country that's gaining fame through the new media. Kpop idols, Korean drama and all.
I am found of their books. Korean Manhwa. To be fact I happily moved here knowing access to the manhwa's will be easier, a little of a stupid reason to move here into a new country ,but I still did know some Korean, not much.
I covered my nose to block the dust from entering. Taking a good look around the house, I grabbed my suit case and walked in further.
My suitcase was light considering I had nothing valuable to it.
The house my uncle owned was a good looking house. A two story house, a small  living room greated you when you walked in. The kitchen ,side of the stairs that led upstairs.
I held the side of the stairs tightly in fear of the wood collapsing. In the small platform of the stairs was a mirror. I looked at my reflection.
My short black hair was neatly presented on my head. My brown eyes looked tired from the jet lag. And my outfit looked ridiculous, the bright red sweater and grey/black pants were not a great combination.
I let you a big sigh and kept walking up the stairs and finally reached the main room. The upstairs of the house had a single bathroom and two bedroom. One of them was my uncle's and the other belonged to guests.
I opted to rest in the guest house. I still wasn't comfortable to sleep in my dead uncle's room.
The door opened with a creak as more dust blew onto my face. Granted the trauma cleaners had done their jobs in removing what they could ,but with no one setting foot in the house, dust was all over the place.
I sighed at the sight on the room. It was bigger than my appertment in new York. I Set down my suit case on the bed and started to look for something inside.
A brown envelope that my uncle's lawyer had given me. Before I could arrive to the house. I had met with the Lawyer, Mr choi. He told me I could come to him for help anytime. And he gave me an envelope of money, money my uncle saved up for me.
800 000 won, about 555 USD.
That was more than enough for me and considering I was given a free house that was completely paid for. I couldn't complain.
It was in the afternoon but I bet shops in Korea were still opened. I took the side bag that was in my suitcase and wore it around my neck. I placed the money in my bag as well as my phone.
Running downstairs I looked for anyplace where cleaning materials were being kept. I found an old worn out broom and a few cleaning materials.
I was going to go out buy some cleaning supplies and food. I might be lucky score a part time job.
Hesitating I held the door knob, I was scared that this was a dream and if I walk out I'll never return.
" You're okay, Senara. You're perfectly fine." I repeated to myself. Calming myself down.
With a bit more confidence I opened the door, Stepping outside into the humid air of Korea. Considering that I moved to a house that was near Seoul The air wasn't the best.
I looked to my neighbours Infront of my house. An elderly woman who seemed to be heading this way infact.
" Ah, hello." She waved at me.
" Hello miss."  I greatest back as I watched her cross the street. She was holding some sort of lunch box in her hands.
" Wow, your Korean is very good."  She smiled innocently at me. I found it funny I only said two words yet she's complimenting me.
" thank you. I'm still learning."  I humbly replied.
" My name is Kim Seyeong. I made Korean kimchi for you."  She held out her box to me. I lightly took it from her.
" Thank you miss Kim, my name is Senara."   Kimchi huh, I only ate it once in a restaurant in New York. It wasn't the best taste.
" Ah, you can always come to my house in for anything Se-nara. You're uncle was one of my friends"  She laughed as he said my name. Her face slightly fell as she mentioned my uncle
I couldn't understand some words in her sentence, but I'm guessing she said something about coming to her house and my uncle.
" yes, but right now I go to shops." I cringed as I forgot some of my sentence structures.
" Ah, yes yes.  Goodbye."  The elderly woman smiled, waving from me as she walked back to her house.
I looked at the lunckbox in my hand. Breathing out a breath I smiled at my first interaction with a native Korean, except Mr choi, . I walked back to the house, placing the kimchi in the fridge.
I ran out of the house. Making sure to lock the door since I couldn't be too safe. I wanted to go to A shopping center.
The walk only took a few minutes. I had no trouble expect some weird looks here and there, People mattered the word "foreigner" a lot on my way.
The first shop I stopped in was a home supplier shop. I only needed some wiping paper and a mop. The broom I have now will do.
Checking them out was a success. They proved to be surprisingly cheap. The convince store was my next stop.
On my way there something caught my eye. A book store. A wide smile appearing on my face.  This was it. My 70% motivation of coming here.  Maybe I could treat myself... Just a bit.
The bell rang in the shop signaling the owner.
" Welcome-" the owner stopped after looking at me
"oh, umm hello, welcome to my store." The owner cringed at his English speaking skills.
" You can talk Korean, I know some."  The owner laughed once I spoke. My mind thought I had made a mistake in my sentence.
" Ah, you should have stopped me. Now I look like a fool."  He covered his face with his hands. I giggled at his reaction.
" Ah, no your English is good." I comforted the shop owner. He only dismissed my comfort as he tried to bury his head into his hands with embrassment.
I chuckled again at his reaction.
Walking further inside the book store I was met with the manhwa section. Amongst them I saw my favourite and first ever manhwa. Who made me a princess. Further into the section were more manhwa's I recognized.
It seemed the isekai, historical manhwa was popular since it was the one mostly In stock.
A special manhwa caught my attention.  It was covered in a rich, red  glowing cover that sparkled when you looked from a different angle.
My hands lightly took the manhwa from its shelf. The cover was even more amazing. It was a girl, a red head girl. She was beautiful, but she looked sad.
The story of  Marie. ( Fan favourite winner )
It was a side story for Marie. It seemed she was a fan favourite and got her own side story. The original book was ' The great fall of Illian '.  My hands searched for a book with that title.
And finally found it. The book itself was half glowing blue and red. I read the back summary of the manhwa.
Cursed by an Ancient magic , the kingdom of illian is faced with challenges. The five princesses must set aside their differences and work together for their kingdom, only to realize they, themselves are the cause of the curse.
I held the first volume of the manhwa in my hand as I took out the phone in my pocket. I searched up the manhwa and I saw how it was an ongoing manhwa.
As of now, five volumes and a side story volume have been released.
Before I made the decision of buying any of the manga's physical I searched for them on any online website i knew. I had found all five volumes ,but I couldn't find the side story.
I made my decision.  I'll read the main story online ,but treat myself to the side story as a physical, soft cover.
Walking over to the cashier.  I placed the side story of Marie on the counter. The owner from Earlier taking it to swipe. Asking me if it was cash or card. I answered Cash since I hadn't made a card yet.
I bid my goodbye to the owner before continue to buy some food to stock up on food back home.
---------------------------------------
I arrived home a bit later, at about five pm. I think picking out that food I wanted lasted longer than I hoped. I still wasn't confident in my Korean cooking skills and didn't have the time to search up YouTube tutorial so I opted for the easier option, instant food.
I quickly went up to take a shower, I made sure to be aware of the water and my hair. I remember reading somewhere that the water in Korea might not be the best unless you have a shower filter. I didn't want to risk any hair loss yet.
The water wasn't as warm as I hoped, but it was better than cold water. After showering I dried myself with my little towel from new York. I dressed myself in simple Pj's - which were a simple black oversized shirt with some sport pants from highschool - after getting dressed i walked downstairs.
I turned on the TV and the first thing was the news, but I wasn't going to pay attention to the television. I just needed some background music while I read my manhwa.
I walked to the kitchen to pour some hot water in a pot to put on the stove and prepared a cup of instant Noodles. One thing I like about moving to Korea is how cheap things were. Back at new York they were crazy expensive. I smiled at how much my life had changed in such a short time.
The water on the stove started boiling. I quickly put them in one of the brand new cups I bought and continued on preparing the noodle packs.
After I was done, I poured the hot water in the noodle cup, and closed it so the hot water could be trapped instead.
I took the cup noodles to the old sofa next to the TV.  I took out my phone to look at the time.
6:05 pm.
I'm surprised how well I was handling jet lag and how I was about to hit two days without sleep (?) The time zones messed me up ,but when I left America it was sunset and when I came here to Korea, it was in the middle of the day.
I started going to my online websites to look for ' the great fall of illian.' once I found it I started reading like a mad woman.
The first seven chapters already had me hooked. I almost forgot to eat the instant noodles I prepared.
So far, there are five Illian princesses. The first born princess Bloom and her twin Willow, Diana the sketchy princess, Marie who seems the shy type and Evelyn the youngest.
I kept reading the Manga pulling me into its thick plot. It wasn't until I was on volume 3 , did a yawn break my concentration. I checked the time.
8:34pm
It would be bad to sleep late ,but it just won't hit the same in the morning. I looked around the house and noticed that the moon that was bringing light was no longer there and the house was black and dark. I quickly went to close the curtains and light up the house.
I discovered the kitchen lightbulb wasn't working.
But it was fine. The light from the living room would be enough.
When I returned back to my set. I noticed how the TV now showcased something about Tax's rising. The person was also talking at a fast pace that I couldn't understand it all.
Whatever. The fall of Illian was calling to me. So far I could See why Marie was the fan favorite, she willingly agreed to be sold off to  the tyrant of another kingdom for her kingdom to gain an alliance and she also had a heartbreaking moment when she was defending Evelyn from her sister so they wouldn't sell her off to the neighboring kingdom. I'm thinking that the second book tells us of her life after her marriage because she hasn't appeared since her marriage.
Oh to be sold off to the cold duke of the north. I started fan girling at the thought. I placed my phone down as I started talking to the closest wall beside me.
" Now listen Mr wall, imagine. You're a princess and you're living in a big mansion with jewels and big pretty dresses and more jewels." I threw my arms up in the air.
" And suddenly, the cold tyrant duke of the north." I stood up and covered my lower face like a villain "comes to you and your father sells you for Jewels and money."
" But!" I turned dramatically. " The cold duke of the north that is somehow always back haired with red eyes isn't a cold duke at all. He's a kind giant who will do anything for you, he hates everyone except you and his personal guard friend."
I collapsed onto the sofa, my ears not missing the sound of the springs.
" Oh to have a life like that. One where you don't have to work yourself to the bone, one where you don't question what you're going to eat tonight, one where you have a life and people love you. I desperately wish to have that life. "
I lay down on the sofa holding my phone in my hand , ready to continue reading.
All the five sisters were illustrated to be red hairs, except Bloom. She had white hair. Or to have blue or red eyes. Their mother had red hair and blue eyes. While their father was a white haired man with red eyes. Marie was the only one in the family to have only one family feature. Red hair. She had light silver eyes.
I myself still classify her eyes in the blue colour category ,but the people in this Kingdom didn't. I don't blame them honestly. The author made it clear that a symbol of the royal family were their bright eye colours ,but Marie had the eye colour of a commoner. This led many to believe she was a child not born from the king.
" You deserve the world Marie."  I cried out in frustration.
I continued on reading volume 3. Until I was done with the whole of volume 5
11:46 pm
I had so much questions. I knew Diana was sketchy, she was after the throne. Diana killed her own blood. She killed Bloom right infront of Evelyn.
I stood up with my messy hair and held my head tightly. I was going to get a headache.
And I was right. Marie never appeared again. Once she hears that her big sister was killed by her sister... Oh my I can't sleep now. I need to find out what happens next.
I quickly held the side story of Marie in my hands. My bed time was practically non existent at this point.
The book consistent of 12 chapters, But they seemed long considering the books thickness.
I started reading the book . My head was buried deep in the pages as I tried to get answers.
1:56am
I ended up throwing the book to the wall in a fit of anger and shock.
" No more!"
Honestly that side story is traumatizing. The cold duke of the north is actually a cold duke of the north. He-he raped her, he abused her. He's an animal.
He manipulated Marie into thinking she's nothing but a useless vessel for him to order around.
I only ended at chapter seven. With the way things were going. Marie was going to kill herself.
I placed around the room and I started to bit my nails. A bad habit I picked up over the years.
" Honestly if I was her I would also kill myself." I held my head in frustration furiously combing through my hair.
I took a breath as I walked to the kitchen and saw Miss Kim's Kimchi. Maybe if it it won't taste so bad.
Taking a slice of a leave with my hand. The crunchy, spicy flavor overpowered flowed in my mouth. This was good. Definitely better than the one I ate in the restaurant in New York.
I ate another leafy piece before I licked my hands to go pick up the side story of Marie.
.
.
.
2:26am
I hate the author of this book. This crazy animal of a man stabbed Marie and made it look like she did it herself. His acting skills somehow convinced everyone to think she actually did it.
Marie's side story ended when she's in bed and we still don't know if she's alive or dead, only the fake as Duke who's crying crocodile tears beside her, tricking everyone to believe he's a good husband.
Such a cliffhanger and I don't think there'll be any new chapters considering the author is on hiatus.
I laid the book on the wooden floor.
Staring at the ceiling of the living room, my eyes feeling heavy. I guess it was time to sleep, maybe I might have a good dream.
Tomorrow I need to properly search for a job. I can't really survive on the money my uncle left, not when Korea has such nice things.
I turned my body, the spring in the sofa accompaning me with a song at my movement.
I could get used to this life.

I still love you...
-------------------
Kaeya x reader
Tw: dark content, kaeya using reader, kaeya being manipulative to reader, betrayal.
755 words.
Tumblr media
Kaeya had been drinking again. He was intoxicated to the point where he could not tell the difference between right and wrong or left and right. So a part of you was not surprised when he threw the coffee table on the floor shuttering your favourite vase.
You couldn't blame him, it's not his fault it's those nights who decided to ruin his plan, raiding and capturing the fatui agent he was working with. All that work disappeared in front of his eyes in just a fraction of a second.
you really couldn't blame him. You cautiously approached him. Taking his head and embracing him close into your chest "it's okay Kaeya" you whispered softly in his ears. You would give the world to make him feel better. Kaeya knew it, he knew just how he had you wrapped tightly around his finger.
You weren't the prettiest or the smartest, but you were definitely interesting to him. It's not his fault you came crawling to him ,giving him all those gifts, telling him all of the crucial information you knew and throwing yourself at his simple command. You made yourself available to him ,was it so wrong for him to use what wanted to be used?
You held him close to you continuously combing your fingers through his night Hair. Finally, he spoke "Y/N" is voice was a hoarse. With just one word you sensed how angry he was ( or maybe it was your consciousness lying to you) the next words that came out of his mouth made your heart drop.
"You were part of it, the raid."
You stopped combing his hair, trembling lightly as you pulled your fingers away. It felt as if the air was knocked out of your chest.
You wanted to deny what he said. You opened your mouth ,but no words came out. Where you guilty? were you innocent?
"I-"
"Don't lie to me." Kaeya cut you. You could faintly hear how hurt his voice was.
You didn't mean to. You didn't think this wou-
"You were the only one who knew" kaeya picked up his head from your chest. He looked up at you in your eyes and watched as you shivered and shredded with fear. Your breath quicken, your eyes roamed around him and did not look at him with confidence. He watched with betrayal and disappointment as your knees buckled in and you fell onto the floor sobbing into your hands.
Guilty Or innocent?
For the first time in a relationship he found you repulsing. He regretted ever taking a stray like you into his life. You were not the obedient girl he thought you were.
What was he going to do with you now?
Abandon you?
.
.
.
No, he could not just leave you like that. You could still prove yourself useful to him.
Kaeya bended down at you're kneeling level. He gave his attention to your pathetic sobs.
"I'm sorry." You said through sobs. It's not that you intended to betray him. You were tricked, you were filled, you were a victim to their schemes.
Kaeya took your warm cheek into his cold ,freezing hand. You flinched at the sudden cold contact, backing away from his touching and slowly lifting your head to look at him. His face held no anger (that you could see).
"Don't apologize." He took your face in his hands again slowly rubbing his thumb against your skin, occasionally brushing the corner of your lips.
Kaeya leaned in for a kiss. You closed your eyes not seeing his furrowed eyebrows. He was disgusted by even touching you ,but he had to do this. He could not get rid of you this early.
Kaeya broke free from the kiss ,Looking at you in the eyes once more. "I still love you, nothing changed." He lied directly in your face.
You let out a breath of relief. You found the strength to breathe again after he told you what you wanted to hear ... he still loves you.
"We'll fix your mistake, right?" He grinned between his teeth. Giving you a fake smile that you saw as genuine. He was going to use you ,break you so you could feel how he felt when you betrayed him.
But you could not see it, You could not sense it. In your eyes ,Kaeya was an ange He chose to forgive you and still love you even after you betrayed him.
