Everything that Natasha and Yelena suffered through happens because they’re women. The Red Room doesn’t just abduct any children, they abduct little girls. The movie does a great job of showing how men like Dreykov do not see women as people and how simply being born a girl puts you in danger. Natasha was just a normal girl, her mother didn’t even abandon her like she believed. But because she was a girl, she caught the attention of Dreykov, and as he said, “the most expendable resource in the world is little girls”

Just some things I loved about Black Widow

- Not making fight scenes more gentle just because the majority of characters fighting are women.

- pointing out the illogical nature of female superhero poses.

- pockets.

-Natasha manipulating Dreykov like she did with Loki in the Avengers

- What happened in Budapest.

- not side-stepping around topics such as forced sterilisation and human trafficking

- discussion of Natasha’s (and other characters’) inability to have children without comparing a woman who can’t have biological kids to a monster

- absolutely everything about the opening credits scene

I literally fell in love with Melina, so ofc I'm going to make her on the sims 4. yes I made the entire family, but they do not look as nice as her 😅

No but did Natasha dye her hair blonde so that Yelena would know she does think of her as a real sister who have the same hair? Yes I'm not okay.

and when his mom died in the same movie aunt may took him in. Tony of course didn’t think that he could raise Peter and thought that he would be better with his aunt rather than with his father. Tony still kept close eye on him because after all he was still his kid. That’s how he knew about spider-man or did you think that tony was just casually swiping through youtube and came across spider-man videos and thought “cool this guy could help me with my superhero business”. I think that Tony saw an opportunity during civil war to get close to his child (weird time but when else he was supposed to do it smoothly) and he needed it so badly that he took it and then hated himself for being selfish and putting peter in harms way and after that tried to keep him safe as possible which was hard after peter had had a taste of what it was like to be hero like Tony
