Next is the annual Bat Boy Beauty Pageant where we find the fourth hottest dude with wings in all of Prythian. Tragic backstory is a given. Immediately becomes BFFLs with the IC. His name. Also irrelevant. Wingspan: Enormous.

Boom! ACOTAR 6 practically writes itself. Theirs will be a love story just like all others.

So Elriel. A ship so perfect, cause the characters are perfect for each other.

Must i remind you how the characters you love to be together feel around each other, besides horniness, of course.

Azriel hated himself, hated his hands around Elain. Don't try to make this romantic. He felt ugly and unwanted around her. (I'm not even mentioning how his shadows disappear and how he referred her as the third sister)

Elain hasn't been herself since she was changed to Fae. She was the most extroverted, loved the parties and traveling. Now we see her losing all the personality traits she had. (Which is normal for her trauma) But you view this as good thing just because she wanted Azriel to fuck her?

So the characters are NOT perfect for each other. Why some people ship them? I never understand.

I have a general question for E/riels:

What do you think will happen to your precious ship when Azriel finds his mate?

Are you guys seriously thinking Mr-waited-for-a-mating-bond-to-snap-for-five-hundred-years would give up his mate for Elain? An already mated female?

I believe Gwyn's his mate, and i believe the bond snapped for her already. But that is only one of many many reasons i ship them.
