-Sanctioned Shinobi -

As tensions and turmoil increase in a Daimyo's lands, it is balancing Paramilitary and Policing forces that retains one's ruling power. Shinobinomono-Corps agents are the elite common denominator among both of these fields, cultivated among clans of the best since their infancy as devoted Samurai and efficient Commoners.

In the interest of strengthening the Samurai State, the Shogun introduced a "Sanction" system for Shinobi, requiring a certain standard of knowledge and tests metered out to evaluate the agent in question.

After passing, the Shinobi will receieve a Daisho by the domain in question, with the Sageyo color corresponding to a specific specialization, like a serialized version of the Ritsuryo ranking system.

The Sanctioned Shinobi pictured bears a style of hood based on Kabuki stagehands, likely pointing to the operative having come from a city, most likely related to the Capitals.

The Red Sageyo, like a worryingly increading batch of Sanctioned Shinobi, marks profienciency in violent sabotage and assassination, instead of the traditional trades of espionage.

Humans are adorable.

Supporting evidence:

1. Humans say ‘ow’, even if they haven’t actually been hurt. It’s just a thing they say when they think they might have been hurt, but aren’t sure yet.

2. Humans collect shiny things and decorate their bodies and nests with them. The shinier the better, although each individual has a unique taste for style and colouring

3. Humans are not an aquatic or even amphibious species, but they flock to bodies of water simply to play in it. They can’t even hold their breath all that long; they just love to splash!

4. When night falls and the sky goes dark, humans become drowsy and begin to cocoon themselves in soft, fluffy bedding.

5. Some humans spend time in each other’s nests! Just for fun! It’s not their nest; they’re just visiting each other.

6. Some humans use pigments and dyes to make their bodies flashy and colourful! They even attach shiny dangly bits to their cartalidgous membranes!

7. Humans are very clever, and sometimes adopt creatures from other species into their family units. They don’t seem to notice the obvious differences, and often raise them alongside their own young!

8. If a human sees another creature in distress, they can commonly be observed trying to help! Even at their own risk, most humans are deeply compassionate creatures!

9. If a human hears a particularity catchy sound or tune, it will often mimic it, even to the point of annoying themselves!

10. Sneezes are entirely involuntary, and completely adorable. Especially when the human in question becomes frustrated

11. Humans love treats!!! Some more than others. Many humans will save these treats specifically for a later date when they are in need of comfort or reassurance. IE, pickles, pop tarts, Popsicles, etc

12. They’re learning to travel in space!!! They can’t get very far, but they’re trying!!! So far, they’ve made it to the end of their yard, and have found rocks

Yeah, i love studying Theology but am usually coming into things in more agnostic/atheist intellectual circle (despite believing in spirits and intelligent designing forces) and i'm interested in getting more involved with individual believers in a more positive way than i have been able to in the past, as a dialouge instead of a power dynamic.

At the end of the day, i believe there is a battle between good and evil occuring that is more complex and tangible than we could ever comprehend. What matters is where you stand, with right or with wrong, not whether you stand with some unified church or religion.

No god never would want one religion to completely dominate the world in the oppressive way that some call for! The road to faith is paved with mortality and sin. It's a fallen world and attempting to remove free will is anti-holiness and attempting world purity under the banner of the Church would just be expansion, which is why whatever existed DIDNT make us all pure by default.

Woah, i went on a bit of an unhinged rant there. Half of it didnt even make sense!

I'm... On Gen 6:1 now-

Hope you know that beyond any mere mortal love and goodwill strangers on the internet can offer one another, there is a deep and abiding, transcendent and redemptive, life-giving Love that comes from God and He offers it to all freely through Jesus. 💗💗💗

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) "For God SO loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

Solidarity from Buddhism! I'm doing a full read of the Bible, on Gen 5 right now and it's the first time i've taken a serious look on the Bible since i was a kid.

I havent had a great relationship with Christianity, but i deeply respect it's values and impact on the world and hope to understand theology more by re-tackling the Cross in a more objective, nonatheist light.

Christianity is very misunderstood, like Buddhism, and at least in flesh we all share a brother/sisterhood and so i hope you're doing okay behind the screen.
