I've never gotten how people can just be homophobic or transphobic or racist or sexist or misogynistic. It doesn't earn you anything at all. At the end of the day, the sun is going to rise and set, same as the moon. And, eventually, we're all going to die. We all have only a little bit of time here on Spaceship Earth.. so why not be kind?

This is how I explain ADHD to someone who doesn't have it.

Imagine you have a pizza and it's one of those ones that you cook in an oven. So you take yours and you follow the directions exactly.. But yours comes out a bit burnt. It still tastes good but when you look at your phone, you see your friend sent you a picture of the pizza they made. It's perfectly golden brown and it looks really good. So you start wondering why YOUR pizza came out a bit burnt when theirs didn't. Even though you made the same pizza, with the same instructions, you start to think why yours came out different.

But you never did anything wrong, you followed the instructions exactly.

It's just that your oven has a different wattage than your friend's oven.
