hiiiii bestie i ship asl :3 i just want you to know i think youre cool and that i like your art, i reblog it a lot. you probably dont like having me around because of the ship but ive been following you for a while and i dont think something like a fictional character ship opinion should change how i see you as a person. i just hope you have a good day :3 your posts brighten mine.

And yes, it's incest. I don't care if it's fictional, it's incest at the end of the day. It's incest that makes me in particular very uncomfortable as someone who is adopted and has siblings that I don't share blood with, but they are still my family, nothing more nothing less and will never ever be anything more. The ASL brothers and One Piece in general are so near and dear to me because of the strong and profound message of Found Family, Families of Choice, and blood not being everything, and to ship the ASL brothers together just throws that in the trash.
It makes me feel gross, it makes me feel erased when people do this. Does my family just not matter because we don't share blood?? Again, I don't care if it's just some fictional ship, fiction does affect reality, and why would you condone this even if their not real? It speaks volumes of what you'd allow in real life.
Please, for my sake? Unfollow me. This submission has made me freak the fuck out that somewhere, someone in my followers list is reblogging all my ASL art and viewing it under a different lenses than intended, despite me saying MULTIPLE times, I don't condone or want that. We? We cannot coexist, unfollow me. I am not your bestie, I am a stranger on the internet. A stranger who's deeply upset that you sent me this, just causally announcing it and acting as if its something as trivial as disagreeing between Zosan and Zolu and not me upset with INCEST.

wip wednesday! the bitch who said they would be finished with this (zolu) thing by next week (today) was a liar. but! good news, it’s gonna be two or three chapters long because it’s getting that out of hand. i probably won’t post this until the whole thing is finished, then i’ll schedule the chapters out a week at a time. i’m still only at ~15k because i trashed the original 7k and restarted about a week+ ago, but it’s definitely much better than it was.
text under the cut! this is still a draft, so apologies if it’s rough--but it keeps making me laugh every time i edit it, so i thought it might be fun to post.
Nami waves the parchment through the air, and Zoro can see that it’s a stack of drawings—map drafts, probably. “Don't ask me! It's just faster this way,” she says, frustrated. “You're the only one who ever knows exactly where he is.”
Zoro rolls his eye. “Well, I haven't seen him yet, so—oh, no, wait,” he says, pausing just for a moment, and Enma almost bites him. Zoro adjusts his grip, frowning because that's not how this works, and changes to a closing stance. Discipline. If Enma will not cooperate, Zoro will not give it what it wants. As he moves, he tilts his head to the side a little and grunts, “Here he comes,” to Nami, who blinks at him.
“See?” She replies, exasperated, “It's ridiculous.”
Zoro almost shrugs. “It's just observation haki,” he says, and Nami just gives him a look he can't even begin to interpret.
She huffs, “It's really not,” and just sort of stares at him for a second before whipping her head to the side as the frantic slap! slap! slap! of familiar sandals comes within hearing range down the hall. “Wow, that was—”
“Straw Hat!” Law’s voice erupts from out of sight, followed by a manic shishishi!
Nami turns her gaze to the ceiling, and Zoro can’t help the snicker that escapes his own mouth as a second enraged yell echoes after them both—Kid, screaming, “Get back here! I’m going to fucking kill you!”
Nami rolls her eyes, and then turns to where Luffy has presumably turned the corner (still out of Zoro’s line of sight), and Zoro sees her eyes bulge. “Luffy, what are you—” As Luffy’s laughter gets louder and louder, more hysterical, and the screams behind him change in pitch from livid to unhinged.
Seconds later, a pale (and yellow? blue?) blur blasts past the doorway, narrowly missing Nami and moving so fast that her hair physically whips with the force, and Zoro hears his Captain shout, “Sorry, Nami!” between giggles.
Nami opens her mouth to say something, but he’s already gone—and then Kid and Law both appear, shoving each other out of the way, red-faced, wheezing, furious—and without pants. Kid has his devil fruit engaged and Law is yelling, Grab him, what are you even good for? At the same time Kid shouts, “Aren’t your powers fucking teleportation?” and then they’re off again, screaming at each other (“He’s fucking rubber, magnets don’t work!” He’s moving too fast to stay in my range!) and screaming at Luffy, whose howling laughter is already starting to fade in the distance.
Nami blinks at Zoro, expression completely bewildered, and Zoro blinks back—and almost doubles over with his own guffaws because only Luffy could steal clothes from two pirates powerful enough to take down an Emperor and then streak half-naked across a fucking castle, flapping their pants in the wind behind him like bait. Nami recovers as Zoro dissolves and she throws her hands in the air with a kind of incoherent noise of frustration, but Zoro can see that she is trying desperately not to burst out laughing herself.
He grins at her and exhales, “We’ll figure it out on the ship,” and she snorts, rolling her eyes a little.
“Yeah,” she replies, smiling fondly. “We’ll have to.” Then she waves a little and turns to go. “Don’t be late.”

My friend @rubyphantom is currently reading one piece and I just finished the kimetsu no yaiba manga so we came up with a crossover. Here are the ideas we have so far.
Set in the one piece universe, but with the demonslayer system and demons (muzan)
Asl are attakced my muzan as children, sabo dies while ace and Luffy become demons.
Luffy refuses to eat people, and gets along by eating a shit Ton of meat instead (like how nezuko sleeps it off for 2 years)
Luffy's ultimate goal is still to become the pirate King and find one piece, but with the added goal of killing muzan and turning himself and ace back into humans.
During the day he wears his normal outfit, but with bandages wrapped around any exposed limbs. The straw hat shades his face.
He doesn't tell the crew, they each find out in their own way. This isn't because he's trying to keep it a secret, they just never asked.
He would eventually conquer the sun by exposing himself to it more each day, and then finally getting an extra push by taking the hit meant for ace and stretching himself to shield ace from the sun (they both live :D)
Zoro is a demonslayer (who still wants to be the world's greatest swordsman).
Kuina (who was training to become a demonslayer ) was killed by a demon instead of falling down the stairs.
Zoro is conflicted bc he's supposed to hate demons but this Luffy guy isn't so bad.
Demons and demonslayers aren't common knowledge, so Zoro was arrested for killing a demon (who people thought was just a civilian).
Robin is also a demon (who actually ate corpses), and Luffy helps her deal with it and teaches her how to get around eating people.

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now : Buggy. Boy do you never expect the Buggy.

The character I’d want to be like : Mmmh. Perona, probably. Love her vibe. Maybe a bit like Yamato and Luffy. I'd love to be so passionate about something. Sad thing is that I'm a Law, in less smart and less hot.
The character I'd slap : Doffy. And Roger. Then I'd QUICKLY make a run for it, to hide the will I wrote just before that knowing my death would come soon, entrusting anything that I have left to Luffy, for I know he'd knpw what to do with it. Sell it all to buy meat, as God intended. Preach.
A pairing that I love : I am Lawlu trash and it shows, trust me bro.
A pairing that I despise : And THIS is where I'm gonna have a hot take : ZoSan, NaLu, ZoRo and ZoLu are overhyped. They're cute, but not THAT much and the sheer amount of die hard fans makes me despise it. Also, you can take my "The Straw Hats are all platonic soulmates" take from my dead ashes because no way in hell will I ever let that go if I still had a body.

Hello! I came across your tumblr and loved your strong world analysis. I wanted to ask you what are your feelings on the current lack of luffy and nami material? Because it seems to me that the fandom is dead. There is no posts for it and i only run into sanji and nami or zoro and nami posts. It really sucks that luffy/nami shippers seem to have given up on their pairing. They seem fickle because they're not always moments for them. I actually just started liking this pairing.
Hey there! Thanks for stopping by! To answer your question, I don’t believe the fandom is dead at all, it’s just that there’s always been a small number of people here on Tumblr who actively support the pairing (i.e enough to post about it, there’s lots more who will like LuNa posts). SaNa is a bit more prevalent on Tumblr (I think?), and of course Luffy’s two biggest ships are Luffy x Law (is that LawLu? I don’t know) and ZoLu in the English side of the fandom. SaNa gets dwarfed by ZoSan, I believe. Yaoi ships tend to be more popular on Tumblr, from what I’ve noticed.
So while it seems like there aren’t tons of posts popping up, a lot of those who ship LuNa have loved the pairing for many years. I also believe there is a much larger LuNa crowd over on Oro Jackson.
Because of the nature of LuNa and why people ship them, it seems unlikely to me me that anyone would decide Nami and Luffy are better suited with other people, so while I’m sure there are some fickle shippers (particularly the kinds of people that have multiple ships with multiple people for every fandom they’re apart of) most of us are here to stay. :-).
This ship is kind of unique in that everyone really is in for the long haul, and One Piece is the longest of long hauls. This means we’ll always have people who will be more active at certain times, which is true even across the larger scope of the OP fandom. I think @Zippi44 is a good example. She still very much ships them, but has other art to keep her busy atm :-) @luffywhatelse has been an OP fan since 2001, and has times when they’re active and times when they’re not. But definitely a LuNa shipper, and will post about it.
I also don’t think anyone is expecting LuNa to become canon before the very end. Any major changes in Strawhat dynamics would throw off OP’s formula, which Oda sticks to religiously. This means that we’ve got many years ahead. We don’t think Luffy and Nami secretly love each other (that would contradictory to their personalities). I think a lot of us then, are content to enjoy their relationship for what it is now, as @Warlordgab says, a potent pairing.
However, we’re still analyzing stuff and posting about it. I also think it’s natural for moments when there’s lots to talk about (like when Luffy and Nami were on their own in WCI) there to be more activity.
If you’re looking for people actively posting about LuNa here on Tumblr, I’d recommend @warlordgab and his many wonderful in-depth posts. All of them are excellent! @warm-starlight just posted an interaction breakdown for Luffy and Nami in chapter 910. She’s also gone through all of the the OP manga looking at their interactions. @yagamitaichi7 @leobazookaoj often post about LuNa. There’s also awesome artists such as @jawf and @sadomaruxsadaharu. There’s also @angiechanxd and @oncexpeace who are active and reblog posts from people posting about LuNa. @lunami-trash does as well, and has a discord server for LuNa fans. And of course there’s others in the fandom who post about LuNa but I can’t list them all here. These are the people I’ve seen a lot in my circles.
We might be a smaller chunk of the OP fandom on Tumblr, but we’re still here, and we still love these two :-)
