Lying just because it's April Fools' is so dull. Honestly painful to watch. Lying in general doesn't do you any good. In my younger days, I told every lie I could, saying some genuinely insane stuff about being a supreme leader of evil and whatnot, and thanks to that, now that I'm in my thirties, I got famous for all the wrong reasons and can't find a stable job because people think I'm associated with the yakuza... Sigh, I wanna deck my cringe younger self's face. Quit lying for fun while you can.
My classmates aren't doing great either. Thinking you're hot shit during your school days always comes back to bite you... My advice to my past self: slow and steady effort is worth more than any talent. Also, the part of life you spent larping with that silly horse laugh is not going to be one you'll want to remember later. I wish I could make that clear to him. White lies aren't a thing. Talent is never enough. My class is proof of that. Wanna know what my classmates are like now that we're in our thirties?
Akamatsu became a piano teacher. Her player skills capped off in her teens, it seems. But she's not that good at teaching so she's considered kinda mid at her job. And now she's struggling with the father of a student incessantly hitting on her. Tough world to live in.
Toujou opened a housekeeping company but she was too strict with her employees so everyone quit. And now she's doing everything on her own. Sucks to be in your thirties without any successors or employees. She's a prime example of how being so much better than anyone else doesn't do you any good. Well, she's always working for celebrities, so she's doing well financially, but I heard about some major court fight about a missing item under suspicion of theft from one of her clients. That can't be nice.
Yumeno got to her thirties still saying magic is real, so she's past the point of no return. She agrees that's an unhinged way to live, but she's too old to suddenly change gimmicks. Work takes her all over the country, but her gimmick doesn't allow her to publicly drink, so she has to get plastered alone in her hotel room after shows. I wish she could fix her life with real magic.
Harukawa? ...Haven't heard that name in a long time. Now she was a living edgy fantasy. The past tense was because I hadn't heard of her in a long time. I don't know the details, but apparently, she went to some war zone outside of Japan because her first love didn't want to date her. Takes some real edgelord to react to a broken heart like that, but if she's still alive, I have no idea how her thirties are treating her. My personal guess is that she's a mother of many.
Chabashira opened her Aikido school but is having a hard time attracting students. So she had the idea of starting an anti-sexual-harassment campaign that could double as advertisement, but thanks to her cluelessness when it comes to romance, she got canceled for mistakenly tossing men in regular couples. She's still doing the "degenerate males" bit in her thirties. Girl really needs to get on with the times. Rumor goes that she still downs huge packs of tequila bottles with Yumeno every now and then. Really don't think there's any salvaging her reputation.
Shirogane is an office lady still continuing her cosplay hobby on the side. She could be doing well if she knew how to keep her mouth shut but frequently rambles about cosplay history and etiquette, so no one likes having her around. Stay emotionally dependent on a single hobby long enough and your passion starts to close you off to others. That's her problem.
Angie was the most successful in the class! She made big money both on the art and the religion fronts. However, there were some controversies about her devotees selling counterfeits of her paintings at exorbitant prices and one magazine made a huge news coverage of it, which resulted in her catching the police's attention. She's been recently untraceable, with the rumors saying that she'll never be back to Japan.
Oh, and Iruma... Up until some point, she had the best life of all of us. She made big money off of her inventions' patents. So far so good. Things only started going off-rails after she married an ex-stripper. The two started a YouTube channel together. And later, her husband ran in last year's elections and lost big time. They got an awful debt from his election campaign and she had to get into side jobs to pay it off. And her husband? Disappeared. No word from Iruma herself about what happened. Tough world to live in.
No further updates from Kodaka in the past 3 hours, so I assume he went to sleep and will come back to tweet about the 7 remaining boys in the morning.

I use Paint tool Sai 2 and tablet I use is Veikk A15 pro.
2. How old are you?
I'm 19 y.o
3. Did you get into a art school?
Never. I wanted to draw and learn everything by myself.
4. Do you open commissions, requests, collabs, art trades, etc?
I sometimes take art requests, but I only draw for my friends and mutuals who I trust the most. I'll NEVER open art commissions and for collabs... Well, if you have any ideas, then sure, I'll collab, but if I have more time. Art trades are open.
5. Can I use your art as icons and pfp?
Sure, go ahead! but please, credit me in your bio.
6. Why are putting signatures on your drawings? You're ruining your atwork!
The signature means I don't allow for you to repost my artworks and claim as yours.
7. Can I print your art?
I'm deeply honored if you love my art, then sure, I'll allow you to. But if you want a better quality to print, you need to giveme ONLY your discord username so I can send it to you!
8. Can I draw your ocs and cosplay them?
You don't need my permission to ask, go ahead! I would love to see your fanart! And yes, you can cosplay!
9. How did you come up with character design, story, etc?
I use references and inspirations to find more ideas.
10. What is your favourite thing to draw?
Hair, gloves and shoes, although I'm always struggling...
11. How many hours does it take to draw one art?
It depends on the time when I take breaks and shade details or when I'm busy with some real life stuff too.
Easy - 30 minutes
Normal - 1 hours
Medium - 2 days
Hard - 5 days
Very hard - a week or two
But if I create references for my ocs they take me to draw 2 weeks or a month.
12. Can I write a fanfic of your oc?
Sure, go ahead! But please, don't use my character for Sigma x reader.
13. Can I draw NSFW of your characters?

Hello, love! I hope you're doing well and your day is going great! I would like to request a match up from your Christmas event! 🌿🍒
I would like to be match up with one of the turtle gang. ^^
I'm strawberry blonde, have blue eyes and I'm not really skinny but not too big either. I am quite short to some (5'3") and people tend to think I'm younger than I already am. 😅 I like to wear t-shirts, jeans, and vans/converses but I don't mind dressing up every once in a awhile. (No to dresses though!)
My interests and hobbies? I enjoy watching anime, listen to music, writing stories, reading, and sometimes do some creative crafts (I made some Christmas decor for my family a few times, think of me as the artist of the family). I enjoy playing video games but I'm picky on what I play (Genshin Impact, Sonic games, and horror games). I enjoy learning new things and make theories, especially if it's on games. I would love to cosplay, but I'm too insecure to actually participate. I love to cook things, especially baking. I used to work at a bakery, so decorating cakes is my forte.
My personality? There's a lot with my personality 😂 One minute I could be happy, then I could be depressed within seconds if a certain topic triggers me. I could be fun and laid back, but I get serious when something has been on my mind a lot. I care so much for people (maybe a little too much) and I want what's best for them, but when someone hurts me I cut them off completely. I won't mistreat them but I won't hangout with you like we used to. I am an introvert and I prefer to not go anywhere and be around large crowds, unless you want me to have an anxiety attack. I guess you can say I have trust issues but I always have some grace, if that makes sense. I knew I can be confusing to people because of how my mood will switch so fast. Maybe that's the reason I don't have much friends 😅
What I like in a partner? I know I like someone who has a lot of patience and is mature. Considering how my mood can switch so fast, I need them to know when is the right time to do certain things. I like them to be fun, too. To be silly whenever I'm feeling down, or give me advice/listen when I need it. I like to have them to have some of the same interests as me. I don't really care on what they look like, I only care about how they treat me. I really love tall guys. I say I don't like being short but that's a lie, especially when he could lean down and give me a forehead kiss 💞

i don't think it could be anyone but dio 😭 first off i did not have many f/os this year... i only had one or two that came and went but this guy. OH this guy. i started jojo in like... april and my brain has been in dio mode ever since. he gives me Urges. he makes me draw, write, read, care for myself and look and feel my best, i made this blog, i made a COSPLAY because i'm so down bad. but you know what? i think it's fantastic that i'm being driven to do all these things. i've been able to meet such nice people and improve my art too through yume-ing him and that's why he deserves f/o of the year
13: new things i learned about an old f/o
the f/o i've had for the longest time is definitely sasara, he's been in my life since he was first announced in 2019 and i still love him just as much <33 as for new things i can't lie i haven't been keeping up with hypmic's story as much as i want to so it's all just things i absorb by osmosis. but omg i learned the funnest thing ever about him, apparently in one of the ARB stories it's revealed that he is (in ARB canon) a youtuber. sure it's his management that takes care of all the details but i just think it would be so fun and comforting to watch one of his streams :)

i'm not going to lie at all here. so beware for strong content
it's the third time i attempt sv1cide and i've r3laps3d five times this week.
i passed out in the school bathroom from losing too much bl00d and i scared Ash and my sister way too much
my father still doesn't know about this and i don't think i'll ever tell him
fact is that on Sunday i was mentally unstable and my desk was messy, so he ordered me to tidy up
i did as told, but apparently "i took too much time" and he started yelling at me while gritting his teeth*, cursing and calling me "a useless stupid being", "sh1thead", "fvcking nuisance" and thing like this
*(my father gritting his teeth is the most big trauma i had as a child. my father started chasing me around the house, treatening to beat me while gritting his teeth. that's why i'm terrified whenever he's angry)
he cancelled every single of my programs, such as going to a cosplay con (thus making everyone else in the group cancel the exhibition we were preparing)
he forbidded me to message my sister for comfort or going out with my friends
he wished me the psychologist will tell me i just need his (my father's) slaps to "learn how to move my ass"
he forced me in my room telling me to go out only for the bathroom
and he yelled that he didn't want to see me again until dinner.
that's when i had my strongest panick attack. i started not to understand nothing and then i started cvtt1ng my arm h4rder and d33per than i've ever did
i risked passing out again because i didn't eat anything yet and my mental stability was completely destroyed.
i lost a huge amount of bl00d and part of the skin on my arm was literally r1pped open
i slept all day for preventing me to do things that i won't say and indeed it worked
three days passed and me and my father still kinda hate each others
my mom is trying to solve the situation but, as i'm terrified of my father, i temporally refuse to talk to him
one of my best friends forced me to get bandaged and now my arm hurts really bad but at least it's bandaged and i think it's healing, even if i still need a proper medication
other problems that are going on in the meantime is my mental need to get a boyfriend.
today is Valentine's Day huh? how cute!!
i can't tell how much i hate this day. last year this day got me a huge trauma which destroyed my confidence (self and with others) tenfold.
the person who LITERALLY EVERYONE thought was going to be my Valentine took his ex girlfriend and started doing l3wd things right in front of me and my other friends at a party
might be sound selfish? he's one of the boys who just wanted what's between my legs
and sometimes i start to think, is it my faul for being hetero?
what if i was a lesbian?
or a pansexual?
the other day, one of my friends told me that before getting to know me better, she was so much into me, but then i told her i was hetero and she changed her mind.
this k1lled me inside and i started blaming myself for being only into boys.

with all this said, i don't think i can stand this anymore.
my mental health keeps worsening day by day, if not hour by hour.
i'm patiently waiting February 23rd which is my first appointment with a psychologist and i'm a little bit relieved to know this

Hi! I decided that I really wanna talk about my favorite shows! I watch lots of anime and cartoons and thought I’d share my favorites and why I like them so much! Cause maybe you could watch them and that would be cool! Anyways here’s my top show list!
1. Fairy Tail: So this is my favorite anime and my special interest. I will be getting the guild mark when I turn 18. It’s so good! I don’t know why it gets so much hate. The OP’s go so hard and ALL of the females are written well. I tend to overhype the show but it is genuinely so good. It was also my first found family trope which is one of the reasons I’m so attached. Anyways, go watch it!
2. The Owl House: What is there to not like about this show. Flawless writing, dynamic characters, oh my god the animation!, good non-binary representation, etc. I’m such a Hunter kinnie and I’m gonna cosplay both Hunter and Amity soon. The kiss! And the girlfriends! And AAAHHH it just makes me so excited. I wrote a whole essay for my creative writing class last year about why it’s a cinematic masterpiece. Please go watch TOH! It got cut short but I know it’s gonna make the most of it’s final three episodes.
3. Soul Eater: For starters, I would like to mention that Maka and I are the same person. I am the embodiment of her. Now to the other stuff, I watched this anime a couple months ago and It’s honestly just one of the best anime out there! Talk about a dynamic cast of characters! I swear that last episode changed my life forever. So go watch it!
4. Amphibia: The last episode of Amphibia is the best final episode of anything I’ve ever watched. Marcy is SO autistic it’s not even funny. Anne’s anthem to Amphibia and her self discovery is gorgeous. Sasha’s journey is unfathomably well written. I started and finished Amphibia in three days. A fantastic use of time. You know the drill by now, go watch it!
5. Steven Universe: Steven Universe absolutely has its problems. But those things aside, it’s so good! I mean the SONGS! They are taking up so much room in my playlists. I won’t spoil anything, but the reveal! Season 5 episode 18 I think? Oh my. The movie slaps too and I think the future series has scarred me. Go watch it!
6. Your Lie In April: Finishing the list with this show feels right. I absolutely adore YLIA. It was my second anime ever and oh my god that ending! Sobbing. Actual tears. I even read Kaori’s letter as a monologue for my beginning acting class. If you don’t like sad things, it’s not for you. Cause YLIA stirs all the feels. Please go watch it!

Let's All Scream at Tom Sandoval Together, Seattle

I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry. For weeks I have fought off my urge to post about Vanderpump Rules on Slog.
"No one cares!" I told myself. "It has nothing to do with Seattle!"
But my willpower has run dry; my strength is depleted. The Seattle Kraken have been eliminated from the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs and I miss yelling at my TV. I have no choice by to pour my energy into my next favorite competitive sport, reality television.
You're on the internet so I'm guessing you know something is happening in the Vanderpump Rulesworld, even if you don't watch or follow the show or stay up until 2 am reading fan theories on Reddit. It is fascinating. Truly. We're witnessing reality television history.
Here's the two-minute recap:
Vanderpump Rules stars Tom Sandoval, 40, and Ariana Madix, 37, have been together for nine years. They're not married—Madix doesn't want to get married—but they own a house together and, while Madix has maintained that she doesn't want children, she elected to freeze her eggs and this season she and Sandoval started the process of fertilizing those eggs should they want children in the future.
Raquel Leviss, 28, is best friends with Sandoval and Madix. She used to be engaged to James "Not About the Pasta" Kennedy, but she broke off their engagement last season. Leviss says both Sandoval and Madix have been incredibly supportive as she recovered from the breakup, even offering her a place to stay while she looked for a new apartment. Sandoval described her as "a little sister;" Madix confided in her about her insecurities and occasional relationship concerns. BFFs for real.
In March, goat cheese balls hit the fryer. Madix discovered an allegedly dirty FaceTime session between Leviss and Sandoval on Sandoval's phone. Madix immediately confronted Sandoval and Leviss and they both owned up to the affair, eventually admitting it had been going on for several months. When did the affair start? They say last summer. RIGHT AFTER MADIX'S 18-YEAR-OLD DOG CHARLOTTE DIED. Pure evil. RIP Charlotte.
While this all sounds like typical drama-fueled trash TV, it's actually a bit more interesting than that. Sandoval and Leviss hid this from everyone on the show,including producers, and this new season of Vanderpump Rules had already started airing when TMZ broke the news. The entire season they just filmed WAS A LIE. Since March, fans have gotten to watch a whole season play out knowing what the cast members did not know themselves, and it has made for some truly fascinating television.
Producers turned cameras back on within hours of finding out about the affair and we finally got to see that footage during Wednesday's season finale. It was so gratifying to see Madix lay into Sandoval for being a narcissistic liar—and to see his dick whistle get snapped in half. At the reunion, we'll get to see allthe Vanderpump Rules cast tell Sandoval and Leviss exactly what they think of them.
There are layers! All of their friendships and relationships were impacted by this affair, by these lies. There is a lot to unpack, untangle, and uncover, and producers are hinting that more bombs will be dropped during the reunion. Fans have theorized about everything from secret pregnancies to money laundering. But even if it just ends up being three hours of Andy Cohen forcing Sandoval and Leviss to face the consequences of their actions, that'll be satisfying to see, too.
So here's where we are now: In April, Leviss reportedly voluntarily entered a facility for "mental health and trauma therapy" and she hasn't been heard from since. Sandoval has been making bracelets for paparazzi and cosplaying as a round one American Idol reject with his cover band the Most Extras. Madix, meanwhile, has spent the last couple of months attending the White House Correspondents Dinner, snagging sponsorships with Bloomingdales and Uber, and receiving public support from Kristin Chenoweth, Aidy Bryant, and Kaley Cuoco.
This is the Super Bowl. This is the World Cup. This is the Olympics. This is something that can only be made better if we experience it together. For the next three Wednesdays Capitol Hill's Comedy/Bar will host Vanderpump Rules reunion watch parties, complete VPR bingo cards, and lots of rosé, pinot, and *James Kennedy voice* PUMPTINIS! HEY GUYS GUESS WHAT I FINISHED
well mostly
that’s a temp crown and I have a single seam left BUT IT’S DONE REALLY OTHER THAN THAT
So now I’m prince ;3c (i also realized i could have grabbed my fake bouquet from my room for more fun---) also I’m wearing a face mask cuz I really didn’t want to put makeup on to fuck around in my basement when I do a proper photo shoot with Snuppet or something I will but deal with the mask (which btw is from @/timetravelinghk !!! It’s one of my favs to wear besides my levisnatch i wear at work)
I’m like super pleased with how this came out; It’s like patterned fully from scratch *stares at the failed attempts* yeah. it’s been a journey.
I’m gonna ramble a bit about the things I dealt with with this costume so read more I’m long winded
For context I started drafting patterns and such for Prince back when I made Snuppet. The idea has always been to cosplay as Prince and HK when I puppet him. However I wound up getting called back to my day job like right after I finished Snups so I never had a chance to continue because hooooo boi this summer was nuts. People wtf we broke records in sales for my work despite pandemic but i’ve ranted before--
There was also the matter of my boots and my wig. See the wig I’m wearing is the SECOND wig i bought for prince. the first one arrived all like... weird. i can’t get it to be fixed so I’ll use it for a monster costume and cover it with blood (its got like weird glue residue. like how some monster high dolls’ hair gets?)
This one is really nice uvu it’s my first arda wig i ordered; I do have the same in a dark purple because I will be making a ‘shadow prince’ version of this outfit in black and purple

So let me say, I have decent sized feet. I wear between a womens 10 and 11 and that makes finding shoes a lil hard.
More so when I need very fucking specific shoes.
Yes i could do boot covers but it wasn’t going to be the same.
so I spent over a month looking and finally found those ones. they cost me a little bit (like they by far are the most expensive shoes I’ve ever bought. I hate spending money on shoes even for cosplay)
So they said they’d arrive soonish. I even paid express shipping.
Guys i ordered them in April. I got them late AUGUST. the site was a nightmare i could never get info it was permanently stuck in ‘packaging order for shipment’ and the help desk sucked and I was so busy with work I couldn’t call my bank and then just one day
they were just in a bag shoved in my mail box. i opened them right before a shift so they sat in my car all day
then i ordered gold cord on amazon
LACING THESE THINGS IS A FUCKING NIGHTMARE
the first time I wore them took me no lie about half hour to get them laced proper and on. My sister was waiting and had to come up like “...you okay?”
once laced tho i can easily put them on and off in like 5 minutes
now the costume itself has been. interesting. so you can’t see but the actual way i put this on is there’s a zipper and velcro! I’ve mentioned before I have CFS and chronic pain issues so I try to make my cosplays easy in easy out if i can. so this actually just. zips up and then the flap with buttons velcros down. it keeps the whole thing a lot smoother across my chest. (also i wear a binder for this cosplay. I bought my first one for this. if you cant tell i kinda went all out for this cosplay because I resonate with this fucker on a personal level and he’s brought me peace of mind this last year. I haven’t done a male cosplay in years and it’s kinda nice to do it again.)

trying to figure out the proper way to make those puff sleeves was. yeah. and even then they aren’t perfect but they work for me. When I redo this for shadow prince I may make them a little.. poofier? i have the idea how to do it now.
I also like had to alter my pattern after i made it to fit better. I have narrow sloping shoulders so things slip off them easily, my original pattern had very BROAD shoulders whoops.
the collar was also fun. i have to keep like stabbing myself with pins to get it to stand right.
I think the cravat was the easiest thing. it’s actually not tied or anything. its sewn together and then there’s velcro so i just wrap it around my neck and secure. As i said. i prefer easy on easy off.
the pants were. fun. I’ve always had issues making pants. the first set well... I made farrrr too thin. the legs were fine but i couldn't get the waist bit over my thighs or rear TTvTT
I’ve been playing with that pattern for the past week. I actually made them too WIDE today which is a much easier fix. tbh could take them in more but I do want the poof a bit. I do need to not wear LEGGINGS under them next time. like.
this costume is warm. I’m going to be a roast prince when con’s are a thing again. between how warm the tunic and binder are, and carrying/puppeting snuppet if you see me please know if I glare it’s most likely I’m dying. Gods it’s warm. I overheat so easily. (another reason I make it easy on and off)
So yeah! that’s my tirade on my prince cosplay! if you actual read down to this point mwah!
get a laugh out of the fact as I was coming back up stairs i scared my cat. he always freaks out when I’m in cosplay.
Also admire i took these photos blind. I didn’t want to put contacts in so i was playing with my new remote (i got a phone based tripod and it has a bluetooth remote to take photos it’s fucking great ngl)

hoo boy here we go. this is gonna be a long post.
hi! im lemon, and i started this blog on april 2nd 2012. and today, april 22nd 2021, im posting beanpole’s last message here. its been one hell of a ride.
how it all started
i was 15, spending time on tumblr, when i suddenly started seeing people posting about this movie that was about to be released soon, called the lorax. now, im not american, so i had never really heard of dr seuss, but people were so enthusiastic! so i watched a shitty cam-rip of the movie and joined the fandom.
and then the askblogs started, the first one i came across being swag, of course. i had run askblogs for other fandoms before, so i wanted to join in on the fun. but regular once-ler was already taken... and green suit once-lers, and audrey and ted too... so i had to come up with something original.
the movie started with the once-ler leaving home and his family showing just how awful they were, and i started thinking, ‘man, his childhood mustve sucked..’
‘haha what if i made a blog about once-ler when he was my age?’
an impulse decision that somehow gained me 100 followers in a week. somehow relatable tumblr teen once-ler was relatable to 2012 tumblr. who couldve known?
i get kinda emotional looking back at it, honestly. people were so fun and creative. id stay up late to keep talking to people (bc timezones are hell).
and i had a lot of fun just pretending to be a flawed boy, one who seemed nice but could be rather snarky, who would lie and break promises at the drop of a hat, but only because he didnt know any better, not out of malice. and i couldnt have done it without you all. i never wouldve known that he hates tomatoes, or likes celine dion, or wears the same thneed every dang day just because that happened to be his icon.
was it silly to get obsessed with a childrens movie? maybe. but i had a great time.
(im also happy to see there are still people in the fandom that are carrying on the legacy... you guys rock)

i think most people that remember bp remember him from truffula flu’s camp entre, over at youngbeansprout... a blog ive sadly lost the password to. im a big baby so i never thought id enjoy writing about something as scary as zombies, but i saw my friends doing it so i went in blind, without any idea on a backstory for the au or whatever.
....which is probably why he wasnt always all that prominent in the story, haha. well, that, and timezones.
it was probably an even wilder time than running this blog was, because there was actual plot. and people would liveblog it. and make fanart. and cosplay??? someone out there? cosplayed my oc to a convention? its one of those things that make you go. huh. i made something cool. probably never gonna reach that high ever again, but it sure is a fond memory. i still have a folder on my computer with all the fanart and it still brings a smile to my face.
also... i never did get to finish zombie au’s story, but i did plan how it would end. so if youve managed to read this far, congratulations! youve hit the hidden deep lore.

so the thing with truffula flu was that entre made the trees fucked up, right? and those spores would turn ppl into zombies. and of course you could become a zombie from being bitten, but it also traveled through the air...
everyone in camp entre (who wasnt immune or already infected) wore a gasmask, a bandana, something to cover their mouth. bp, who wandered into the apocalypse by accident, did not. he didnt even know.
so little by little, the spores gathered in his lungs, until he realized. oh no. im getting sick. oh no. oh no oh no oh no. he messed around audrey’s equipment to confirm he was infected, and he got scared. he was a scared kid and he was going to die.
except. ted had handed him a cure for safe-keeping. a cure bp had sworn to protect with his life. but it could save him, right? in a moment of cowardice, he uses it on himself... only to find out there never was a cure.
(now heres the part where my memory gets fuzzy but) the ‘’’cure’’’ was given to ted, who was already slightly rotting, meant as a mercy kill. the people who gave him the cure assumed he would use it on himself.
except ted was a good kid, who wanted to use the cure to help others.
and beanpole? his lies and broken promises came back to bite him in the ass, and he died sudden and alone. the end. :)
ANYWAY
the end of an era
ive wanted to wrap this blog up for several years now but i never knew how. younger me wanted to give him a happy ending, which back then i thought was getting him a girlfriend.
but as i got older, i realized... not everything can be fixed with a relationship. he’d have to learn to overcome his flaws by himself, learn his lesson about honesty and sincerity and the dangers of greed. and then, maybe he’ll have a happy ending.
so as he rides into the sunset on this day, imagine.
maybe he’ll end up cutting down a forest and regretting it the rest of his life.
maybe he’ll become a rock-star. an inventor. a teacher. a gentleman. a cannibal? okay, maybe not that one
or maybe he’ll continue traveling forever, singing songs about boredom.
who knows? there’s infinite possibilites out there.

Final Thoughts
Okie Dokie, I actually liked this movie a lot.
The acting was absolutely phenomenal, especially on Alexandra’s Daddario and Taissa Farmiga’s part, the characters were so well played. They focused in on so different points of view in this story that it captured the chaos that they were living individually and as a group under one roof. It constantly kept you on edge with the strange nuances in their dialogue, unnerving pauses and the progression of the condition of each character.
It was great. The aesthetic was there, the small but necessary breaks with dark humour really kept the story flowing and most of all, the fervour. It was everywhere, in their emotions or outbursts like Charles at the dinner table and on the stairs, or the way the townspeople kept adding fuel to their own personal hell. And I must admit, it's hard to make characters like Jim the firefighter relevant, but every person that this story involves has a distinct purpose and significance to the plot.
The only negative thing I could think of was I just wish there was more, I wanted it to be longer so that the small gaps in the movie could have been powerful. Okay, what else. Yes, Charles Blackwood, despite all of...that, will make a great character for me to touch on and has a lot of interesting qualities that I will be sure to tap into. Oh! And the only reason why no one else is getting the stan award was that my coffee mama was the only character who wasn't off the rails or just a terrible waste of human life! We stan!
