This is a radically nonjudgmental film on sex work- it’s almost as if you could replace their job with accounting and this movie really wouldn’t be that different. I was amazed by Lizzie Borden and her ability to capture something so taboo and polarizing in such a neutral light!

#flashbackfriday So this was this time last year and I was so excited to be back at work. Sadly (or rather not really!) the job only lasted 3 months - I have never worked for such a disorganised company! While I was gutted in December I remember feeling so much more confident in the skills I have and that even though I had a career break of nearly 10 years I could still be useful and have a sense of achievement again. It took me until May this year to find something else, however the first 3 months of this year was getting my new flat sorted so I already had a bit going on 😂 3 months later I’m still loving my job. It’s part of a great team of people who are doing some incredible work for the community and I’ve been involved in a very interesting project already. I’m so glad that other job didn’t work out, it’s a cliche that when one door closes another opens but you just don’t know what opportunities will come up for you further down the line.
