I have a bunch of elemental they/them sprites in the works. These are just the first 2 I have colored in fully. Their names are Pest (left) and Plink (right) and they’re woodland sprites. The Woodland sprites use leaves, seeds, and the occasional flower petal to make their clothing. And they make sure the ecosystem of their forest is thriving and balanced.

Today I picked a bee up that was stuck on my bus and let him climb my arm before he flew off free and I've never felt more at peace while simultaneously being the most insufferable person

#like can you imagine this fkn dickhead getting up to leave the bus but diverting to pick up a bee thats trying to fly through glass?#bare hands just picked the little guy up #i dont have the best reactions to bee stings but this poor thing was trapped #and then not only does this dickhead pick up a bee but when shes off the bus she lets the bee climb up her arm and fly off #And she has the audacity to smile at it #god what an insufferable manic pixie dream girl #I HOWEVER felt like a damn fairy and will be moving to a woodland kingdom with my bee friends

this walrus vs fairy debate has made me realize

a lot of you really don't know very much about walruses and you are imaging a plushie. or possibly cartoon character.

like seriously. polar bears are scared of them. do you think you can beat a polar bear in a fight? a walrus can. walruses can and do disembowel polar bears. AND

we do not all seem to be talking about the same creature when talking about fairies.

like. are we talking about tinkerbell fairies? Fae fairies? woodland sprites? humans with elf ears and pixie dust? pokemon?

we are not even clear on the size here! no one has even specified if they have wings!

it's kind of a fascinating example of people all talking past each other. and luckily i can observe with enjoyment because it is about a beautifully audaciously ridiculous thought experiment and not like. actual politics.
