LTWT jdelf changeover playlist update
John Delf made the Louis Tomlinson Changeover Playlist public again. 28 songs have been removed. 7 songs have been added.
7 and 28! of course! not driving me insane at all!
There are 97 total songs now.
Thanks to @bluewinnerangel for talking it through with me today and for the great resources like these and @walkinginsunflowers HSLOT playlist.
Of the 28 songs recently removed, 4 had been the exit song for a LTWT show. 4 are also on the HSLOT playlist.

hi! are you ever going to finish exit song (for a film)? love your writing! <3
You know what, I got this ask, went to the draft of Chapter 13 (took me a while to remember how I had named it, ops), and I finished the chapter.
Now, allow me to go through my usual process: hate the draft, wait a couple of days, reread it, find out it's not that bad, sharpen the words so it's softer, reread it again, post it on a whim before I can think this through (aka think that no one will read because it's been two years since the last update).

♪ Dirty Little Secret - The All-American Rejects
Do you remember when I said a while ago that a playlist with 6 songs didn’t sit well with me, so I had a way to add more? This is that way. I’ve put too much though into this universe where every kiss is Noco, so I’m making sketch pages for the comics respective episode, starting with Greeces Pieces!
No one even kisses in this episode, but the reveal plot point was WAY too important and WAY too interesting to ignore. The reveal comic will come eventually, but for now here’s the rest of the episode!!
For funsies here’s my notes about this portion, directly copy pasted from my notes app:
* Noah death glares Tyler, threatening him into silence. Alejandro notices.
* When Heather and Alejandro bicker before landing, Noah shoots Cody a look, saying “they’re crazy” with his eyes. Cody giggles back at him. Sierra notices.
* She questions him about it, not knowing Noah and Cody were friends. Cody awkwardly reaffirms yeah they’re just friends!! Sierra accepts this answer despite Cody stumbling through it. Oopsies I ended up changing this one. I’ll explain why later.
* Noah competes in the one on one turned 3v3 duel, Owen using him as a weapon. Well intentioned, of course. They end up winning, and they share the two medals Owen won in the original.
* Noah ends up flying across the arena, landing on Cody by accident. They pause for two seconds maximum, and stutter and stumble standing up. Alejandro notices and starts putting the pieces together of what might of happened.
* (By the end of the episode he’s positive he knows, so he’s not really shocked when Tyler actually says it.)
* The song of the episode is sung by Courtney and Duncan, about what don’t ask me. Courtney wins that challenge for the Amazons.
* Heather and Alejandro still compete in the hurdles challenge and Heather still wins, leading to the tiebreaker.

i think what really fucks me up about fitzjames' death in the terror specifically is that even if they got rescued and he did survive and heal physically, his experiences would completely undermine the (rather literal) closure that a scar is supposed to provide. he'd be unable to take his survival for granted ever again because any sense of stability would be stripped from him entirely. he'd be haunted by a wound he has to carry for the rest of his life that has already made him intimately aware of the potential for betrayal from within his own body, by his own flesh. how do you even begin to psychologically cope with that.

Annette Tapper’s (Phil Spector’s ex-wife) recollection of meeting the Beatles:
I met them in March 1965, during the height of Beatlemania. A friend invited me to the Bahamas for the filming of the beach scenes in Help. After we arrived, I was told to contact Victor Spinetti, which I did. We met and he took me to a sandy beach where a scene was being filmed. All four Beatles were there and they were on a break. Spinetti said, 'I’d like you to meet somebody; this is Annette Spector, Phil Spector's ex-wife.'
John Lennon turned around, smiled at the other three, started conducting and counted '1-2-3-4.' Then they all sang (to the tune of "Happy Birthday"):
'Happy Mrs. Spector to you, Happy Mrs. Spector to you, Happy Mrs. Spector to you, Happy Mrs. Spector to you.' After they finished, I shook each one's hand, saying how nice it was to meet them and we all stood talking for awhile.
There were very friendly and cordial, but above all, so harmonious with each other. They were like brothers and didn't seem on guard either with each other or with me. Besides exuding warmth, they were very funny and humorous, exactly like in the film. The only other people around were the crew preparing a boat for the next scene. None of the Beatles' wives or girlfriends had come to the Bahamas.
Later that day, I went with Mal Evans, the Beatles' bodyguard, to buy cigarettes for them and then we went to a cabin where all the Beatles were resting. When we walked in, the room was very quiet; then George Harrison screamed hello and I didn't know if that was a welcome or a 'get away.' But I went in and sat down next to John Lennon, who was very quiet. Paul McCartney was on the phone having an argument with his girlfriend, Jane Asher. She was upset that he had been away so long and he was promising to call once or twice a day. I congratulated Ringo Starr, who had recently gotten married. George Harrison was playing the guitar. I noticed that they were called 'the boys' by everyone associated with them.
After awhile everyone went to another shooting location. A camera man was filming George swimming in an underground pool. John was joking around, pointing his index finger at different people and saying 'bop, bop, bop.' It was done in a funny way, not as if he had a gun. Then he made a motion signifying somebody is crazy (he'd make a circle around his ear with his index finger and then he'd point to a particular person). He put his finger on my stomach and poked me playfully.
That night there was a party and I danced with Ringo Starr. When the record 'Help' was played he said, 'Excuse me, I can't do this. I can't dance to my own music.' Paul McCartney was also there, surrounded by many women.
I saw them one more time, the next day, when I rode out on a bus with the entire entourage to another of the sets. The Beatles were all singing as we drove along and I felt, once again, the wonderful humor and harmony that they generated.

Gracias A La Vida, the exit song for Louis' Santiago 2 concert - and Harry parralels
It's about thanking life for bringing you both highs and lows. There's an element of romantic declarations, thanking the universe for every gift it brings that allows you to appreciate and worship "the man I love" - his clear eyes, his soul's journey, his house, the sounds of him, seeing him in a crowd...
The song was written by Chilean activist and folk singer Violeta Parra in 1967. Kacey Musgraves covered it as the closing song on her 2021 album star-crossed. It's also been covered by many others.
Gracias a la Vida had a resurgence during the pandemic - here's an article talking about why - "a year of forced reflection...look at how far we've come and recognize we're not in the eye of the storm...return to simple things...an ode to life’s highs and lows."
Sounds like Harry in HS3 album promo, like the Zane Lowe interview that aired the same day
It was also part of the score for the recent movie Vortex

Gloria Gaynor tweeted and she sounds like she wasn't informed or invited to Coachella. So us thinking Lizzo was a last minute decision is wrong. It was lizzo all along because Gloria was never invited in the first place. And I am still trying to pretend why he chose this particular song with Lizzo. It could have been any Lizzo song but no it has to be this one. Even Lizzo's costume was prepared before hand to match Harry's. It's all planned.

Now bringing back that Louis played Stayin Alive as the exit song of his show, a few hours before Harry stepped on stage at Coachella and Lizzo has indeed made a cover of that song:
