The girl handing me my food at Wendy’s said that I was gorgeous, and some other girl let me go in front of her at the store check out because I had less items. There is good in the world, women are it. :)

The Talented Women At Atlanta Artistic Weddings
This month is Women’s History Month and we want to give a shout out to the awesome women at Atlanta Artistic Weddings!  I am so honored to have so many talented and smart women on my team!
The first person I want to celebrate is Heather Towhey.  Heather is in charge of our social media posts.  She is the one who came up with the Fun Fact Friday! We have gotten so many compliments on the Fun Fact Friday posts that people tune in just for those.   Heather is also a talented writer and does our blog posts.  She is also the one who helps me by editing my posts.  She is a real star behind the scenes.
Speaking of stars behind the scenes there is Lizzie, who I do not know what I would do without.  She is the one who gets your edited  photos to you so quickly.   Lizzie is one of the smartest and most insightful people I know.  She is not only an incredible editor and designer, she is the one who gives me her unvarnished opinion on my photography that makes me a better photographer for you.  Heather and Lizzie are the two people behind the scenes that shape my photography and online presence.
Now comes the people that capture your big day in photos.  We have a deep bench of women that know how to capture the intimate moments of your wedding.  They are the women you trust to capture your getting ready shots without being intrusive.
The first star on the women’s photographers team is Sarah Newman.  She has shot over 200 weddings with me and compliments my style of photography.  While I come off as an energetic game show host she is the calm bride whisperer who brings calm to the chaos of a wedding day full of moving parts.
The next star is Tara Lule.  I spotted her talent in my photography class I teach at Emory.  She is to this day my most gifted student I have ever had.  She has a very creative approach to photography that makes her a real stand out.  Tara has been with me at some of the most emotionally difficult weddings.  We are definitely a group that have weathered some difficult storms.
Then there is Alex.  I met her through my archaeology job.  She is the geographical information system (GIS) specialist of Gwinnett county who makes all the maps.  We were introduced through GIS but bonded over photography.  She has a gift and eye for great photography and knows how to capture the intimate moments at a wedding.
Last but not least is my wife Daphne.  She is the one that puts up with my crazy hours and raised our kids when I was not available because I was shooting weddings.  She is the rock that our family needed in my absence.  I love you woman! You make be a better person!
Thanks for checking out this Atlanta wedding photographers blog! I hope you enjoyed the read and that you find ways to celebrate the amazing women in your life! Make sure you keep coming back to our blog to see what the Atlanta wedding photographers at Atlanta Artistic Weddings get up to! If you’d like to contact me go to the contact page and drop me a line at https://www.atlantaartisticweddings.com/contact-atlanta-wedding-photographer. I would love to hear from you!
Thanks again!

NGL I have STRONG opinions about digital releases omitting the letters to the editor section of older comics. I feel like the letters are a part of comic history and should be aggressively preserved.

Does anyone else hate that meme about only boys thinking about the Roman Empire and girls (and some gay men) gleefully being like “I only think about [insert current pop culture trend]”.
And it’s like continuing the meme that boys are intelligent beings, interested in history while girls are just…not
This coupled with the girl math thing, and also the “boys when they time travel vs. girls” and overall bimbofication trend. We’e going back in time where pretending to be stupid and vapid was the norm and it just alienates women who are proud of their intelligence even more from other women

Random thought but have you ever noticed that breadtube is...misogynistic? Idk, as someone who used to watch a lot of breadtube (still a leftist, but as I've learned more about leftist politics and movements I find that breadtube often lacks substance - just seems like a lot of rambling without critical thinking/analysis).
Like, I can't help but notice that the lot of them shy away from topics around sex based oppression, male/female socialization, sexploitation etc (and if they're not ignoring it, they're saying that none of it is real and that those are just conservative talking points).
Idk. I just feel like a lot of people would rather watch transwomen talk about how important feminist works are actually bigoted to justify violent, misogynistic feelings toward radical feminists who discuss these things. It feels like they want to intellectualize misogyny and uphold a strawman of radical feminism so that they can validate telling women to shut the fuck up about our oppression. Am I making sense?
yes, you're totally making sense, and I decided to look into that. so I made an Excel list with the most prominent Bread Tubers, the number of their subscribers, their biological sexes and their gender identities:
Tumblr media
if you just look at gender identity, the subscribers seem to be quite evenly distributed between men, women and non-binary people:
Tumblr media
looks kinda fair, right?
but if we look into biological sex...
Tumblr media
it's suddenly clear that biological males gather about 77 percent of the total subscribers, while biological females gather only about 24 percent.
doesn't seem that fair anymore, right?
but it gets even worse when you take into account the male's gender identities...
Tumblr media
there are more subscribers to biological males with female or non-binary gender identities than subscribers to biological females???
I guess there is your answer on why bread tube does not cover issues of sexism and sex-based oppression.
...and that is why an analysis based on biological sex is important and trying to erase it will let us believe that we are closer to equality between the sexes than we actually are
