"The Most Horrible Song Ever" is a @shrineofwill88 #shrineofwill song that I made last night to stand up for my husband. No one will have that power to mess things up for us again, because I'm #WokeAF

The term "woke" is a term that originated in African American Vernacular English (AAVE) and is used to describe an increased awareness of social and political issues affecting marginalized communities. In this context, "woke" means being socially and politically conscious and aware of the systemic injustices and inequalities that exist in our society. Individuals in marginalized communities should strive to be "woke" because it is important to have an understanding of the systemic oppressions and injustices they face. By being aware of these issues, they can take steps to protect themselves, organize and mobilize for change, and advocate for policies that benefit their communities. Moreover, being "woke" helps people in marginalized groups to develop a sense of empowerment, self-awareness, and confidence that comes from understanding the larger social and political context in which they live. In short, being "woke" is an expression of power and agency for people who may otherwise be excluded from these systems. However, it's important to note that the responsibility of being "woke" should not only fall on marginalized communities, but should be a shared effort of society as a whole to work towards creating a more equitable and just world. #StayWoke #WokeAF #StayAware https://www.instagram.com/p/CpozM7xsmtd/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
You are grounded! Go to your room! Just a little pun on yesterday's post "how to Ground yourself". Grounding doesn't have to be a long drawn out process, there are simple ways to discharge your energy into the earth. Walking around barefoot outside is a great way to literally connect with the ground. Feeling the texture of grass, moss, sand or dirt beneath our feet gives our body the que that we are safe and it can unload its baggage. Hugging a tree can be another way to release unwanted energy and scattered thoughts. Trees are living creatures that exchange energy with us when we touch or hold them. They have roots that dig deep into the ground and our energy is drawn into those roots much like energy to a lightning rod. Sitting on a rock or boulder can also provide the perfect circuit for release. Sometimes the cool, smooth texture is more comforting to people than grass or rough bark. Many kinds of rocks and stone neutralize our energy field. They diffuse and redirect the energy in our bodies down into the earth below. Sometimes, you may sit on a stone with additional benefits, such as quartz, granite, sandstone, etc. Each mineral has properties that support different functions for our body and mind. So if you haven't taken the time to reconnect with the Earth recently, you better go do it right now Mr./Ms./Mx. Or I'll have to GROUND YOU! #MEDITATION #grounding #healing #pun #punny #humor #comedy #spiritualhumor #spirituality #metaphysical #mindfulness #mindfulpractice #mindfullife #mindfullness #holistic #wokeaf (at Seattle, Washington) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cfc_iF3jqe8/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
