Bothering the beast

My cats have this meow that means "please come with me to fix this" after which they'll lead me to the problem in question, usually a empty (or 'empty') food bowl or a closed door they want open. They look at the 'problem', they look back at me, clear message.

What fascinates me is how this illustrates what they percieve as being in the realm of my 'power.' I control the food, I control the door, sure, but my cats love to sit on the balcony in the sun, and it has happened plenty of times that on a rainy day they come get me, go to the balcony and show me... the rain. "Please fix this" they say. "Please get rid of the wet"

"Silly kitty," I say, "I can't control the rain." I then walk into the shower and turn on the rain.

I’m conflicted with this photo too because it’s such a sweet picture of Eric and Ash and I know he loves that cat like he’s his baby and I know Ash would adore him,

" honestamente, pensé que eras más de la cerveza que del café " quizás porque cat le pareció divertida desde el principio y hacía esa asociación. pero quizás les vendría bien encontrarse sin alcohol de por medio. quizás. suelta confesión una vez que llega a la mesa con ambos cafés, luego de haberle pedido su orden y buscar la de ambos. finalmente, se sienta al lado de ella, en uno de esos sillones semicirculares de la cafetería. " por cierto, aquí tengo tu remera " pensó en no llevarla, y tener una excusa para volver a su departamento, pero era aquella la primera razón por la que volvían a verse. supuestamente. " ha quedado como nueva " esboza una sonrisa orgullosa y se la extiende para devolvérsela. " me hubiera gustado que me asistas esta mañana, fue un día intenso " exagera un poco, solo para sacar el tema. " pero el café fue buena idea. me apetecía verte " se atreve a decirle. acortando un poco la distancia por el simple hecho de provocar.
