Hes a pixie, and we kinda fused pixies and pixie pets in that they can turn into animals, and kiko became a pixie assigned a long time ago to protect bloom

If the Winx weren’t fairies, what do you think they’d be? Like what magic class?

An interesting thought considering many chose to be a fairy intentionally. Some with more personal reasons than others.

Bloom, I think would’ve considered becoming a witch, but ultimately became a sorceress because of the long, flowing capes and trains. Also, considering it was witches who destroyed her home planet, I feel like there might’ve been an unconscious choice that made her decide against becoming one herself.

Stella, 100% a witch. She was more or less forced into the role of a fairy by her father and the royal court. Many already didn’t like that her mother was one, but Stella didn’t care, and while Luna struggled with emotionally being there, she still was a lot more than Radius and tried her best to make night seem less scary to baby Stella.

Flora is kind of a toss up. She could got either way with being a Fairy or a magi, but part of her choice in becoming a fairy was the desire to save her sister. It wasn’t a year long thought process or anything, but when they were younger, Miele did fall off the trees in Lynphea’s tree village when visiting their grandmother. Flora gained her Magic Winx when rushing to save her. Though I think she’d end up becoming a witch. Being sorceress would’ve been cool to her, but she does look up to her grandmother more than her mother.

Musa would 100% become a sorceress, more specifically a bard. He first transformation earned with music would be Charmix, overcoming her fear of performing in front of her father and the fear of backlash from him for pursuing music against his wishes. She became a fairy to honor her mother, but she could also do so by using her mother’s flute as her magical catalyst.

Tecna I think choose to be a a general caster. She doesn’t want to worry too much about different transformations. She chose to be a Fairy because of having this idea that they’d work together and she’d carry on the magical lineage. She didn’t really want to give that up, but if she snapped and did, she’d just become a caster. Not putting her magic to waste but still not becoming her father’s “Mini Me”.

Aisha would choose sorceress to please her parents, something not seen as malevolent and considered well meaning and respectable. Though if she got a say, she’d choose witch. She chose to be a fairy because she felt that flying gave her freedom, but at the same time, the magical abilities of a witch would give her the ability to “let loose”, it’s not as contained or centralized, instead being more free hitting and wild. She’d have some semblance of freedom, even if it’s not quite physical.

Roxy, sadly doesn’t get that choice. She’s a full-blooded Earth Fairy. Humans were only taught one form of magic, Arcadia’s. The Shadow Phoenix and Great Dragon aren’t even a concept to them. With their magic all being rooted to Arcadia’s, there’s very little freedom. If she could though, she’d become a sorceress, specifically a druid due to her deep connection to animals.

So just like the Harpix quest a witch looking to become a Windury has to obtain a Harpix feather through one of the challenges and present it to the source of Harpix. Unlike fairies however, witches usually work more closely with the elemental companions of each quest (in this case the sylphs). Witches need a gift from their elemental companions to add to their uniform in order to handle the ethereal power bestowed by the elemental quests. Witches becoming Winduri get a Sylph's egg talon. These are the small claws that develop on a sylph's thumb in the egg as a help to crack the egg to get out (like a chicken's egg tooth). They usually fall off soon after hatching but are kept as a memento by sylph families. They lend a drop of Endless Storm magic for the witch to build on. The elemental witch forms still influence the witch’s biology, so here Lucy, who has strong Harpy heritage has very large wings, feathered ears and a feather tail in addition to stronger talons on her feet. Icy is also strongly aligned with the air element biologically and has facial/ear feathers.

The look of the Winduri's uniforms are often similar to whatever the Witch’s already existent uniform is based on, but it’s not a one to one. The wings in this form have small talons on the wings' thumb joints. The uniform also features wrappings on the legs/feet, a sleeveless shirt and the harpix feathers displayed somewhere on the outfit. There are swirling trails of wind attached somewhere near the harpix feathers that will drape around the witch like cloth. The patterns of witch's wings often mimic real birds, fairies in harpix are often less based on reality. in specific, the trix are all based on owls, Icy is based on a Snowy Owl, Stormy on a Great Horned Owl and Darcy on a Barn Owl (becuase even tho i love them barn owls are the creepiest lmao). Lucy is based on a swan because I love to include little ballet references in her designs (swan lake), and Selina is based on a Crow!

Happy 20th Anniversary, Winx Club!

For this year, I wanted to redo my old Only One Form AU, the one where there is only one transformation and that is it. I took elements from different transformations for each, so let's go over them!

Aisha's clearest inspiration is Sirenix, going by the decor, the patterns, and the wings, but the hair and sash idea comes from her Charmix and the length of it comes from Harmonix.

Bloom takes from Bloomix (scale details, wings, part of hair), Enchantix (silhouette) and Charmix (overall structure and bangs). BEHOLD, not only Blue Bloom from me, but Bloom with long hair, even!

Tecna's base is her Charmix (bodysuit idea, boots) and Cosmix (structure), with Tynix in the gems. Her wings are based off her Charmix and Onyrix wings!

Stella is. basically wearing her Believix lol. BUT the bow, sleeves, bangs, open skirt and wings come from Cosmix and her armbraces and shorts come from Charmix.

Musa's takes from Believix (tie, belt, shoe style, wings partially, hairstyle to a degree), Dreamix (top, pants having full length), and Charmix (wings, armbraces, headphones, shoe height, wings partially). Short Hair Musa is not my preferred style but if Bloom has long hair for this, she can cut hers.

Lasty, Flora takes from Charmix (top style and sleeve idea), Butterflix (shoes, hair, silhouette) and Mythix (flower dress idea, hair decorations, wings).

As a collective, I wanted to show as much variation as possible - the point of the AU is that there aren't other transformations at all so their main form has to encapsulate their personalities, powers and style as much as possible. I TRIED to make them skew more towards canon than usual but SCREW YOU I'm NOT giving up chubby Stella and buff Musa. I am not.

Have you given thought to the Earth Fairies' war against the Wizards? How long was it before the fairies thought about creating and using Sophix and Lovix? Did they have any other ideas or similar plans that they tried to use against the Wizards?

I have! I have made final decisions yet, a lot has been just flipped around right now. It’s mainly a superiority complex going on. Earth Fairies were disconnected from the Magic Dimension for centuries, the only contact they had was to Arcadia, the only god from the original three. Therefor, they didn’t have traditional transformations, they had one that would continuously grow as long as the developed their magic and they didn’t have the ability to learn how to preform magic outside of Arcadia’s style. They could branch out, but not by much. They were limited in transformations and didn’t have the ability to be anything but fairies. Hell, many older fairies had physical wings, they couldn’t switch magic classes even if they wanted to. They didn’t have transformations that specialized in specific magic, they didn’t have the ability to choose to be anything but a fairy. They also don’t have “proper sources” and many from the Magic Dimension deem that unnatural. Their sources are more often impacted by the natural magic around them, meaning they’re not immediately born with Magic more often than not. Their magic is not like the magic found within the Magic Dimension. While similar, it’s still different as the Magic Dimension had multiple gods cultivating it and Arcadia kept Earth a secret from the other two for eons, albeit accidentally. The Wizards of the Black Circle are seen as extremists, believing that the Earth Fairies weren’t supposed to have magic and that they’re fighting them in the name of the Great Dragon, taking back what they stole. Aurora and Diana were the first to fall to the Wizards, they were promised peace if they gave up their magic is they gave up their wings and magic, though the Wizard took their wings and trapped them in the Earth instead of giving them peace. Nebula pushed for War immediately after the death of her sister by Ogron’s hands, many sided with her, but there were still those who didn’t want to start war. They lacked moral after Nebula’s sister died, Tinkerbell being trapped in the Dream Realm centuries prior, and the capture of the other major fairies.

As for Lovix and Sophix, they were always Magic Dimension transformations. They were created by the Ethereal Nymphs, magi who protected and allowed others to earn the transformations. Many Earth Fairies didn’t get Lovix or Sophix as Tinkerbell was trapped by one of their transformations not too shortly after they opened up to the Magic Dimension. They few who did were shunned and outcasted, people believing that they saw their own magic inadequate if they earned a new transformation that gave them spells pertaining to magic that wasn’t of their own source. Many of those shunned left to the Magic Dimension, looking for acceptance and creating new families on those planets.

A side not, the Wizards of the Black Circle will probably be changed to just the “Black Circle” or just something different in general because they are not just Wizards in my redo

"I fell like of the fake winx, we have bloom she has the great dragon flame that made the magic universe, zrelka the fairy of the sun AND moon" you said your eyes watering "heck both are princess"

Helia pulled you closer to him and ran thus hand though you hair

You sat listening to his soft words and nodded slowly

The earth elemental witches! Landrids!

So just like the Dryadix quest a witch looking to become a Landrid has to create a crystalline magic seed, grow a flower from it, and present it to the source of Dryadix. Unlike fairies however, witches usually work more closely with the elemental companions of each quest (in this case the Kodama). Witches need a gift from their elemental companions to add to their uniform in order to handle the ethereal power bestowed by the elemental quests. Witches becoming Landrid get a mask carved from a kodama’s home tree. Kodama each have a tree they were either born into(in the immortal forest) or that they have claimed (in the magix dimension). The Kodama’s life force is connected to their home trees and they protect them as much as possible. Kodama usually carve their own masks from parts of their own tree. It’s an incredible gift to receive any part of a kodama’s home tree and the masks lend a drop of Immortal Forest magic for the witch to build on. The elemental witch forms still influence the witch’s biology, but none of these babes are genetically predisposed towards the earth element.

The look of the Landrid uniforms are often similar to whatever the Witch’s already existent uniform is based on, but it’s not a one to one. The uniform features close toed shoes, a collar/breastbone portion, and occasionally transparent elements. Part of the uniform is made of the signature plant/flower they grew with the crystalline seed (Stormy has pink larkspur, Darcy has Lobelia, Icy has Morning Glory, Lucy has sage leaves, and Selina has dark pink roses). The Kodama’s mask is always present when in uniform and design elements from it are often echoed in the rest of the outfit. The rib cage is filled with plant matter just like in the fairys’ dryadix.

Magic winx redesign

I been working on redoing my designs and the lore that goes with it. To start off this is my new version of magic winx with only Stella and booo for right now.

Lore :

“magic winx” is the first fairy form it’s actually is referred to the base form and allows a fairy to gain a power boost compared to their “human” forms

Also gives a fairy the ability to fly up to 90mph

It’s gained through tense emotions in dire situations (but for some it just come naturally)

It can be gained as soon as a fairy starts practicing magic .
