An absolutely crucial bit of Shakespearean casting
Orsino must be hot.
Obviously there are many many different ways in which people can be hot, and (never) fuck anyone who says otherwise. But he must give an overall impression of hotness. His clothes should suit him well, his voice should be a delight, his energy should be devastatingly attractive. Bonus points if he opens his shirt at least once, which tbf he usually does. ;-) He should also be extremely bi, but I hope that goes without saying.
Orsino is... not one of my favourite Shakespearean men, and I always feel that Viola is vastly too good for him (as indeed would Olivia have been). But if he is a hot, disastrous bi, then I can at least see what Viola sees in him, which makes the entire play work far better. :D

BLs where sunshine baby goes from shy to enthusiastically GAY
So this dynamic specifically eliminates tsundere characters (probubly the most popular archetype in BL) and focuses in on cinnamon rolls who reveal their soft squishy centers through the course of the narrative going belly up for gayness/sex. (Okay my analogy got away from me, but you’ll see what I mean.) Since a lot of BL is still somewhat sex negative, partly as a result of the seme uke dynamic my temptation was to lean entirely on Taiwan for this, but surprisingly Korea, Japan, and Thailand also had examples.
Cinnamon Rolls who (eventually) Go All in for Their Boy
TAIWAN
Tumblr media
HIStory 4: Close To You - Muren is a tiny bit more confused and tsundere than shy, but he is definitely a sweetheart won over by his absurd himbo in the end. This is a character arc Taiwan loves, the himbo who discovers he is bisexual and just carries his clumsy excitement for life into gayness. Himbos are, however, by their nature NOT SHY so they don’t qualify themselves for this.
Tumblr media
HIStory 3: the BL that shall not be named - Oh this is a pitch perfect execution of this trope, and another shy sweetie/himbo pairing. But the end of this show is ALL pain. Watch at your own risk. There is no HEA. Stop THE MOMENT they move in together or be prepared to suffer.
Tumblr media
HIStory 3: Trapped - the side couple probubly qualifies. Sunshine bad ass mercenary assassin pursues shy (okay more horny and repressed) nerdy cop. They are a fantastic couple and, eventually, very mutually enthusiastic... shall we say?
Tumblr media
HIStory 2: Right or Wrong - an oft neglected one in the franchise but our adorable baby boy Fei Sheng Zhe is kinda shy but more just does not like his boss/teacher/tsundere seme (eventual lover). However, once sex is on the table it is ON THE TABLE... literally.
Tumblr media
DNA Says Love You - I adore this BL and Amber is shy and careful and luminous and perfect, but when he’s convinced Le loves him, he is super game and they have lovely final sequence together.
Tumblr media
See You After Quarantine? - their is a shy admiration that comes from an age and culture gap, and our sunshine baby Bo Chun is also coming out. But with a confident gay for the seme this dynamic is executed perfectly. And yes they clearly want each other once they finally meet. And yes, you get to see it but mostly in the credit sequence. This is a SHORT show.
THAILAND
Tumblr media
Love Sick - is Noh shy or just oblivious or just a very confused teenager? Whatever the case, he actually fits the criteria perfectly. He is both a sunshine and a cinnamon roll and he fucking adores Phun but really struggles to show it. That’s Phun’s fault, though. This is a long hard fought messy series and the chemistry is weak, but when they finally end up together it is clear that they are TOGETHER.
Tumblr media
Love By Chance - OF COURSE. How could I forget them? BEST BOYS!!!! Pete is the ultimate shy boy, painfully injured lonely out-gay and Ae sweeps in and adopts him. Ae is clearly demi and has to figure himself out, but Pete is never once not willing to stick by him, and when they finally get together Pete is completely willing, just still shy about it. The side couples are a problem and the ending is not good, but AePete remain one of my favorite Thai pairs of all time.
Tumblr media
Brothers - this is a terrible show and I can’t in good faith suggest anyone actually watch it, except for KhunKaow. Kaow is absolutely a shy cinnamon roll (baker) who comes around to his insistent younger med student boyfriend. Kaow is older than Khun, and they fulfill my favorite “young gay identifies elder gay as MINE” trope. But they are very much a side couple and even though I adore them, it’s probubly not worth watching this terrible show just for them.
Tumblr media
Love Stage!! (Thai version) - Anda is basically a shy introvert, he goes from reluctant to tsundere to all tf in for his celebrity boyfriend, including high heat.
Tumblr media
Secret Crush On You - this is not my favorite BL and I have many quibbles and very mixed feels, but I Toh def starts shy (about a relationship) and then goes all in. Like very high heat and very clear these two really want to bone... like ALL THE TIME. Although I think of Toh as a more a creep than a sunshine or cinnamon roll. You could probubly put side character Jao (def cinnamon) into this category too. And this show is nothing if not sex positive.
Others I contemplated: NueaSyn side couple in Cutie Pie, WinTops in Ingredients, RamKing in My Engineer, IttPai in My Gear and Your Gown, TeeFuse in Make it Right, SoloGui in Oxygen, KluenDao in Star in My Mind, ChampDoc (both, poor things) in TharnType 2, the main couple in My Ride.
KOREA
Tumblr media
Cherry Blossoms After Winter - it’s Korea so they left out the good bits but Haebom absolutely goes from total shy sweetheart to literally jumping into his very tall boyfriend’s arms, also defending their relationship to their mother (who’s against it). Look this is the stepbrothers trope, Haebom is a foster brother. I love this show, it’s VERY old school yaoi, but it’s also classic Korea so a little too short, a bit sex negative, and confusing in what they choose not to show. But it meets the criteria.
Tumblr media
First Love Again - Jeong Ha Yeon is just a sweetheart, earnest and hopeful, and a bit of a fanboy. His other half is a total asshole but for very understandable reasons (what if the great love of your life, who you remember perfectly and have lost multiple times already, suddenly turned up in the body of the “wrong” gender?) Don’t worry they both get over it, but this is Korea, so it’s all paced odd and fast. Good kisses tho.
Tumblr media
Wish You: Your Melody in My Heart - Sang Yi is gone on In Soo the moment they meet, but he is so painfully shy, he is also kinda acting the part of the seme in this narrative but constantly thwarted by his own shyness. Thus the second he is given a green light he is all in, but it might not be quite the right arc for this dynamic. Still he remains one of my all time favorite BL characters because of this painful shyness - he is heart-wrenchingly sweet.
Others: Some More (Strongberry short), Behind Cut, Love Class.
JAPAN
Tumblr media
Seven Days - Seriyo probubly qualifies, although he is a confident poised person he’s very shy and cautious about Yuzuru because he likes him so much so quickly and unexpectedly. The moment Yuzuru confesses you can see the relief and joy in him. This is Japan so it’s all quite reserved but great about it and a touch kinky.
Tumblr media
My Beautiful Man - this is a whipping boy dynamic, but Hira is shy (or maybe just worshipful and reluctant to embrace reality). This one is very kinky but might, kinda qualify? I adore this CLASSIC live action yaoi, but I am warped. And oh yeah are they both VERY into each other by the end.
Tumblr media
His the movie - Shun is not just shy and a cinnamon roll but bitter and rejected and alone. This is a complicated gay drama, not really a BL, but so very good. Of course he crumbles, because he has crumbled before, but it is hard fought, as it should be.
Tumblr media
Old Fashion Cupcake - it only comes RIGHT at the end, but at least the implication is entirely there (they they are into each other physically). I would call Nozue a cinnamon roll, although not necessarily sunshine or shy, more repressed and reluctant. Still it’s one of my favorite 2022 BLs. Worth watching no matter what.
The Philippines and Vietnam don’t seem to like this dynamic.

Two Sides of the Same Coin.
So, I actually hinted at this in my Yoichi Shigaraki's post - but as I found myself thinking about it, it becomes even more clear that the parallels between Deku/Bakugou and Yoichi/2nd User are way too many to be ignored (and that at the same time, they can be applied to Deku and Shigaraki).
Tumblr media
Now, I'd have to consider in this post that the 1st and 2nd movie are, if not canon, an alternative universe which directly links back to the main story (as we saw with the Compression Gauntlet made by Melissa in the 1st movie, and which Izuku sports in Ch. 309).
But at the same time, I am not going to mention of some implication which might be related to this post entailed the possibility of Heroes Rising and Bakugou or one of his ancestors being an OfA user because of two reasons: I. because I am not a fan of the theory and II. because as things stand now, it has little to no relevance for the post.
Now, onto the main part: if we think about it, it makes absolutely sense that a foreshadowing of the relationship between Izuku and one or both of his counterparts is shown through the Vestiges of OfA. As I already wrote in the past (and I am particularly referring to this post), the Vestiges are somehow an enclosed space where Izuku is free to explore the Consciousness of his own Quirk. At the same time, it allows him to have insight in himself and occasionally others from within the same environment. Point in case, this happens with Shigaraki - when after touching him through AfO's Quirks's wires, Shigaraki (possessed by AfO, that is) enters the Vestiges.
Tumblr media
This narrates of the fact that, mostly - appearances are not everything. I guess, this is also why the Vestiges look like a piece of crumbled building; not only because they managed to fully shape after the power evolved - which means through Toshinori towards Izuku - but also that the Vestiges are a kind metaphor for the people inhabiting the Vestiges. If the Vestiges are a shared consciousness formed due to the embers of an identity left in it and embed with a personality before being passed, it means that there is a sort of personalisation of OfA. Well, that should have been clear when Horikoshi made Izuku develop Shoot Style, and manifest OfA in different ways from All Might - freeing Izuku form the shackles that is his admiration for the hero. But most importantly it also means that this personalisation comes from within, while the power and that is, the core and the shared value of these people, stays fundamentally the same. Which is then represented by the Vestiges. But, the fact that this Quirk Personalization makes its way through the cracks on a shared identity, is evident in the fact that every user if free to decide whether to acknowledge the other (and foremost Izuku) and what to think of the situation. As the 2nd User speaks, he is still not entirely convinced that Izuku's is the way to go (I wonder, whether the fact that Izuku cannot properly speak also depends on the fact that User 2 and 3 haven't fully accepted Izuku yet).
This brings us forward to the notion of Hero, of Saving and the 'Room'. As it is clear by the panels above, 2nd User and Izuku play the role of Saviours, offering a help which is thought maybe not needed, but it is offered all the same. It is also at the beginning of a life-long journey, even if Izuku and Bakugou's comes way much after. Yoichi considers 2nd his hero, and the initiator of the story. Bakugou considers Izuku not his hero, but at the same time - Izuku, time after time, 'saves' Bakugou and offers him a hand to get out of the room full of himself in which society closed him in. But, these consideration, in my opinion, fit more the Shigaraki and Izuku storyline.
First of all, notwithstanding everything, Shigaraki is the main 'antagonist' of the story. He's the leader of the LOV, and while not the brain of the operation, he is still the one who puts in practice. He is the one actually influenced by AfO. He is the one, again, to be closed off from the world by AfO. Same as for Yoichi - as a form of absolute control. AfO encloses in a definite space, both mentally and physically Yoichi and Tomura both. He wants from them to be dependent of him. Wants them to be grateful to him for what he has done. Because he is the one who saved them, who gave them the necessary power and helped them survive in this world. It is not a case, that looking-wise Yoichi and Tomura are so similar, especially after the 'Hibernation' Tomura went through. And this scenario also brings to mind the way Shigaraki's body gets hijacked by AfO's consciousness, and Shigaraki tries to fight it - but instead, he is put to 'sleep' and rest, as to recover - because of the amount of energy used during the battle against the heroes.
Tumblr media
As for the Hero part played by the 2nd User in the original scenario, Izuku is the one most likely to represent it in the upcoming occasions. Lately, there has been a lot of speculations about Izuku saving or not Shigaraki (the whole Vestige talk is after all, about Shigaraki and Izuku), but in the end, as said countless times: the set up talks clearly. Izuku is dead set on offering the tentative hand to Tomura, because in the Vestiges he saw that Shigaraki Tomura is nothing else than an identity created by AfO out of spite, hatred and manipulation. It's a mask, which Tomura executes as its best capabilities.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And if Izuku, who is the one who actually puts the seed of ‘But after all, maybe, there IS something to save, if you can understand what made villains the way the are’ is, despite the double expressed by Ni-sama, the hero of this scenario - on a very evident side that Shigaraki, or rather, Shimura Tenko, is the one who embodies the concept of Salvation and Destruction (Restoration), that is at the core of the entire manga series (and of course, of the ideology brought forward by the OfA users). Izuku Midoriya is, after all, walking the same steps of the 2nd user: going to save someone tossed aside and in AfO’s control, giving birth to a new stage of society and consequently reality. It’s a change in tide. The beginning of something new, and the end of something long overdue. It’s the beginning of a new, reformed society which does not see murder as a way of salvation, but rather understands that Heroes can show and bring forward another way, while working on themselves and working to save the villains. And it’s, at the same time, the End of an era holding Heroes in the highest regard, and glorifying power and strength (All Might’s Quirk. Endeavour, even the criteria of the UA entrance tests). An Era which held All Might accountable for everyone else, too - and made him bear the burden. An Era which made society lazy and uninvolved with the villains and the ugly side of themselves (which I already explored in this take). As Yoichi puts it, it’s thanks to him that the OfA’s story begins - and it may be because of Izuku that it ends, as it will fulfil its greatest mission: to free the world from AfO and to save Shigaraki Tomura.
This is why, the parallels between becoming a hero, and offering a hand to someone who probably never even consider the possibility of needing it, is a foreshadowing for what is likely to go down between Izuku and Tomura.
But as always, parallels, even when everything, still might be just a perception of the real situation. A perception of a situation which is where different, also similar because, as we all know - history is a fickle thing and it has a terrible habit of always repeating itself.

The Rebel Princess Carry Top 8 List
Rebel Princess who?
If you are reading this list, you probably already know everything there is to know about The Rebel Princess. For all the newcomers: I advise you to strap in, watch, enjoy and prepare yourselves for any unreasonable expectations towards prospective male partners that you may acquire in the process.
Carrying of princesses or princess carries
For the purposes of this list we shall define a princess carry as an act in which person A carries person B in their arms, with one arm placed beneath either thighs or knees, the other supporting the back and the body of person B being held close to person A’s chest. Just like a groom carrying his bride, hence the alternative name of a bridal carry.
Furthermore, we shall only accept those attempts in which a defined element of lifting the carried person can be observed. A carry is a carry, a catch is a catch, no matter how delightful such a princess catch happens to be. This automatically disqualifies catches performed by Zitan and Xiao Qi in, respectively, episodes 2. and 4.
Similarly disqualified are all instances of potato sack hefts, such as the one performed by Potato in episode 4. with Xie Wanru playing the role of the sack, as well as any other hefts, lifts or carries where the carried person is not merely supported, but rather fully embraced by arms coming at them from opposite directions.
Attention! Despite the name stating otherwise, the carried person does not, in fact, have to be a princess, thus any titles carried by the carried person will have no influence on the final score.
Why Top 8
Why Top 8, you might ask. Well, there are exactly eight proper princess carries in the whole 68-episode-long drama. Which, by the way, gives us one princess carry every eight and a half episodes or 0.12 of a princess carry per single episode.
Scoring criteria
Since the purpose of this list is to objectively estimate the respective value of each princess carry and then use those results to rank all the attempts accordingly, from the feeblest to the most admirable, we are in need of a comprehensive scoring system. After some deliberations the judging panel (namely me) has managed to create exactly such a system, which was then approved by an independent third party (also me, but in a different hat). Each attempt shall receive a score from 0 to 10 points; this score being the sum of four components: Style, Technique, Hotness and Excellence. Those four main components encompass partial, specific criteria; see the explanation below.
Style: This particular component is mostly used to give proper value to such vital characteristics as artistry and flair. However, those are not by any means the only considerations the judging panel will take into account while awarding the total score. The intention behind any given attempt is to be established and subsequently used to judge how well the chosen style suits the purpose of the carry in question and whether it adequately fulfills any goals and needs that may have been expressed or set before the commencement of the attempt itself. The judging panel reserves the right to make demerits based on handling of clothing and accessories, as needed.
Technique: While proper technique of executing a princess carry is most important and ought to be assessed with exceptional care, it is far from the only criteria taken into account while rating general technique of any one attempt. After all, lifting a person in one thing and actually carrying them a very different one. Thus, whenever possible, we will observe and judge the endurance exhibited during the attempt in question; if such an observation proves to be impossible for any reason, a reasonable estimation may serve as an acceptable substitute. Moreover, since any princess carry has to be judged on its merits, the overall difficulty of any attempt must be first established, depending on the probable disparity between the strength of the carrier and the weight of the carried person as well as other factors, such as any floppiness or lack of a proper latch on the neck of the carrier.
Hotness: Recognizing that overall hotness is not a criteria that can be judged objectively, the judging panel hereby undertakes to use more precise methods of measurement, such as: reaction of any independent witnesses, if any are present, emotional reaction of the carrier, the carried person or both, whichever applies and the general mood set by any particular attempt. If any of the aforementioned methods cannot be used for any reason, the judging panel reserves the right to supplement this component with individual hotness assessments made by qualified experts (also me, but horny).
Excellence: Any exceptional elements or unique characteristics, which the judging panel feels might not have been rewarded properly while scoring the other components, will be subject to a rather subjective criteria of overall excellence.
The individual components can receive the following maximum point values:
Style: 3 points
Technique: 3 points
Hotness: 3 points
Excellence: 1 point
AND NOW TO THE LIST PROPER!
Number 8. Song Huaien gets recruited to escort a rather shaken Yuxiu to a doctor – episode 36.
Tumblr media
Style: 0.5 points
What style can we even speak of when one of the parties involved makes no attempt at hiding their utter lack of interest in anything even remotely approaching artistry or feeling? Truly, never has there been a carrier less gracious; that the purpose of this exercise is to escort Yuxiu to a doctor is neither here nor there and serves as no excuse for the decided lack of any flair. After all, technically this is an engagement carry, seeing as Song Huaien announces his intention to make Yuxiu his main wife halfway through its duration. Moreover, he has the easiest possible dress to deal with and still manages to bunch it up, if only a little.
Technique: 2.5 points
A truly great lift it is not, although a more or less correct one, at least if we were speaking of pure utility. Still, Song Huaien manages to position Yuxiu in his arms in one move, no further jostling into place needed. Although this may be helped by the fact that she hooks her own hand around his neck even before he gets her off the ground. What is rather impressive is Song Huaien’s undeniable endurance: he not only manages to carry Yuxiu through two entire courtyards, going up and down the stairs, but also makes it look surprisingly easy. Why, at one point he even breaks into a trot. That Yuxiu is hands down the smallest female to be carried in this drama is another matter; he still does rather well and his posture leaves nothing to be desired throughout the entire carry.
Hotness: 0.4 points
There is much to be said about the utter lack of any emotion from Song Huaien other than pure unwillingness to even exist in this particular time and place. No show of strength or endurance will ever compensate for that. The witnesses do not seem to be overly impressed either; why, Awu cuts off Song Huaien’s declaration of intent and physically hurries him away, while no other person present at the scene pays any attention whatsoever to Huaien’s feat. Sheer competence might have been enough to raise the final score, if not for one thing: Yuxiu holds herself very, very stiff for most of the time, trying to look smaller and not, by any chance, lean into Song Huaien’s chest. It’s only at the very end that she makes a conscious effort to do so and that finally brings the element of positive emotion into play.
Excellence: 0.1 points
We admit that there is something rather special about the sheer awkwardness of this princess carry.  It certainly is not easy to forget this heap of stiff, sad mess.
Total score: 3.5 points
Number 7. Potato does his absolute best to show Xie Wanru his love – episode 45.
Tumblr media
Style: 1.2 points
There is something to be said for Potato’s (faulty) confidence as well as for his single-minded intent to show Xie Wanru the depth of his care for her and Miracle Fetus. That he doesn’t properly succeed is a different matter altogether. Yet it cannot be denied that there is a certain flair to his approach, if not to the actual execution of the princess carry itself. One also has to question the validity of deciding to princess carry one’s wife while standing at the foot of the bed, although that might simply mean that Potato chose to be surprisingly realistic about his capabilities.
Technique: 1 point
The fact that Potato even manages to lift Xie Wanru, much less to a proper princess carry height, is a rather impressive feat, particularly taking into account that he is, well, Potato and Xie Wanru is no sylphid. Moreover, he really does rather well on the upswing, applying a reasonable amount of force, certainly enough to get her to the required, if not particularly awe-inspiring level. What is surprising is that - when the scene is rewatched closely - it does seem like he actually manages to lock his grip and stop Wanru on the downswing, if only for a moment. What does get him is her fearful reaction; and even then he does manage to let her down in a controlled manner. Sadly, Potato’s attempt should be properly classified as a princess lift rather than a princess carry, since there is no actual carrying going on; this makes it hard to estimate his endurance.
Hotness: 1.4 points
The judging panel would like to notify all sundry that its opinions are meant to be devoid of any personal prejudices and as close to true objectivity as it is even possible. Which means that it must be admitted that there is something rather… warm about the pre- and post-carry playfulness exhibited by both parties, regardless of the momentary fear and panic shown during the latter half of the carry itself. Moreover, the general mood of the scene remains in place in spite of Potato’s incompetence and objective failure. Truly, it is a great pity we cannot see how any of Wanru’s maids might have reacted to Potato’s shenanigans. “It’s a rather lovely moment of marital playfulness,” says our expert, “one perhaps made even more spectacular by Potato’s failure to fulfill his original goal. And really, it does prove once and for all that potatoes should be served warm, not cold!”
Excellence: 0.8 points
It may not be quite fair to award points based on the sheer unexpectedness of ever seeing this particular carry, but there you have it. Objectively speaking, Potato’s sheer excitement and playfulness alone might have managed to win the judging panel over, but the fact that a root vegetable somehow managed to pull off a princess… lift is even more impressive.
Total score: 4.4 points
Number 6. Gatekeeper steps in for Zitan and carries Su Jin’er out of the dungeon – episode 57.
Tumblr media
Style: 1.1 points
It is debatable whether there is much flair or artistry to this particular princess carry, despite it being executed in rather dramatic circumstances and in no less dramatic surroundings. However, that is not the purpose of this attempt; what Gatekeeper is actually meant to do is to conduct a rescue, which he certainly does in a rather professional, matter-of-fact manner. There is, however, one element to his behaviour, which may seem rather out of place; notice that he stops before Zitan in such a way that Su Jin’er’s legs actually bump into Prime Minister Wen. As to whether he does it on purpose, well, that certainly seems to be the case.
Technique: 2.9 points
That Gatekeeper is a surprisingly competent man, especially for an Imperial Mook. Not only does he manage to lift an unconscious Su Jin’er from a slumped, almost horizontal position, but he also attempts it while in full mail. What’s more, he does pretty well with arranging her in his arms despite her overall floppiness and then moves around tight spaces with no visible effort. As if that was not enough, he then carries her up a great number of very steep stairs and then, presumably, all the way to the palace proper. Really, the only thing one might find any problems with is Su Jin’er’s relatively low position in Gatekeeper’s arms, especially where her legs are concerned; and even that might be the result of trying to provide more support for her head.
Hotness: 0.6 points
While an unconscious Su Jin’er is unable to express any kind of reaction and even if it was not so, she would most probably act disappointed in the identity of her actual carrier, there is something very reassuring about the matter-of-fact manner in which this particular princess carry is executed. “Competence is something rather attractive, no matter its source,” says our expert, “and there is a certain romantic air about the idea of being literally carried out of danger.”
Excellence: 0.5 points
There is something to be said for a competent substitute, although this rather novel approach to princess carries might be not to everybody’s taste. And yet it spared us from having to watch Zitan making his own attempt, for which the judges are, for one, undeniably grateful.
Total score: 5.1 points
Number 5. Xiao Qi rescues Awu from the evils of excessive alcohol consumption – episode 13.
Tumblr media
Style: 2 points
Never has there been a carry more utilitarian in purpose; Xiao Qi makes a decision to get his wife to bed and immediately executes it, no hesitation or half-measures needed nor wanted! And yet even then he cannot deny himself that one tiny show of flair on the upswing. Why, I do believe that at one point Awu’s knees are positioned higher than her head, if only for a moment!
Technique: 3 points
There is much to be admired about Xiao Qi’s technique; he manages to lift Awu up in one fluent move, using the considerable power of that upswing to position her in one go so well that it requires no further corrections. Which raises a question of where and when he might have learned to do that, seeing as it’s the very first attempt we see on-screen (somebody must have brought Awu back from the bridge, don’t you think?). Xiao Qi carries Awu all the way to bed, which may not be a great distance, but still a considerable one. Especially as she is out of it and thus unable to help support her own weight by holding onto his neck or shoulders, although she still tucks her arm in, stopping herself from achieving total floppiness.
Hotness: 1 point
Since Awu is out of it and Xiao Qi’s face is full of determination to get his wife to bed… but for altogether too innocent reasons, there is little that can be said for overall hotness of this scene. The only witness for whose reaction we might have hoped, namely Yuxiu, is also unconscious, which forces us to ask the experts for their opinion. “Somewhat hotter than lukewarm by the sheer force of Xiao Qi’s competence in executing that carry,” said I, nodding with great authority.
Excellence: 0.7 points
The judging panel remains in awe of the exceptional fluidity with which Xiao Qi manoeuvred Awu’s body into his arms.
Total score: 6.7 points
Number 4. Zilu starts celebrating Mi’er’s birthday in a very appropriate manner – episode 22.
Tumblr media
Style: 2.4 points
From what little we can observe, Zilu, who is a rather artistic man on any given day, is no less artful when it comes to celebrating his beloved’s birthday. A proper princess carry is just the way to go; still, there remains a question of whether a planned and possibly rehearsed carry is just as good or maybe even better than an improvised one. Zilu’s is certainly planned, judging from the way he arranges himself in the doorway and then carries Mi’er through the entire courtyard, door-to-door. What is admirable is that he miraculously manages to deal with her very difficult dress; perhaps it could have been arranged better, for it does get somewhat bunched up… but it’s a good attempt nonetheless.
Technique: 2.1 points
Sadly, we have been robbed of seeing the actual lift, all thanks to Pang Gui the Inept Ninja. Still, there is much that can be assumed based on the prelude, which we do see, and the carry itself. Zilu’s stretched out hand is undoubtedly very steady, which speaks to his confidence in the subsequent maneuver. The carry itself is rather less steady – Mi’er seems to rest rather low and even sways at one point, although that can be excused since Zilu is climbing the stairs at that very moment. All the same, Mi’er does clutch onto him rather tightly with a fully functional grip.  And yes, Zilu does manage to climb a few stairs, which, together with the fact that he carries Mi’er through the entire courtyard, is a surprising feat for a Ma prince. Those, as you know, are not particularly known for their fitness.
Hotness: 2.2 points
It is rather hard to say what Zilu’s two servants might think about his princess carry, even if they do go to their knees. What is quite remarkable, on the other hand, is that Pang Gui stills for a good moment or two, seemingly for no other reason than to observe this great feat. Unfortunately, we do not see Mi’er’s face, although it is obvious from Zilu’s pre- and post-carry reaction that he at least must take great enjoyment from the very idea of surprising his lady in this manner. “There is a tangible promise of great enthusiasm and surprising endurance right in that princess carry,” says our expert, “which raises the temperature quite considerably.”
Excellence: 0.3 points
Not a memorable princess carry by any means; there is a reason why it was missing from the original list of contenders despite the rather unexpected carrier. Still, it is a birthday carry, which certainly makes it one of a kind.
Total score: 7 points
Number 3. Xiao Qi rescues Awu from the evils of lonely garden strolls  – episode 18.
Tumblr media
Style: 2.7 points
Excellent handling of a rather difficult multi-layered dress on Xiao Qi’s part! Somehow he manages to lift Awu in such a way as to fan out all the layers for maximum aesthetic effect, while at the same time not leaving them to hang so low as to hinder his steps. The overall style is rather sentimental, which suits their surroundings, if not the occasion itself.
Technique: 2.1 points
The lift itself is not quite forceful enough to allow Xiao Qi to arrange his wife correctly on the first try; he does have to jostle her into position. Although this is pretty understandable, seeing as they go straight from an embrace to a full carry with no space to catch momentum in between. Awu is quite a helpful princess on this occasion, holding onto Xiao Qi’s shoulder with a solid, if not overly firm grip and bringing her head close to his chest, which redistributes her bodyweight in a rather helpful manner. The distance to their bed is presumably not that great, taking into account the general layout of the house, but it would still take more than a few steps to get there.
Hotness: 2.6 points
No witnesses to be had, but Awu seems properly impressed during the lift itself. In fact, there might have even been a tiny gasp! Once properly in the air, she shows proper appreciation as well as undeniable trust in the strength of her husband’s arms. Xiao Qi, on the other hand, may look rather restrained to an untrained eye; make no mistake, though, there is undeniable pride there and a not very subtle promise of things to come in form of a smile. “Trust,” says our expert, “is a very warm feeling in proper circumstances” and we concur heartily with this opinion.
Excellence: 0.5 points
There is little else to be said about this particular carry, although there is something truly remarkable about Awu’s helpfulness and utter trust; the judges hold an opinion that a proper carry is just like a tango – meant for two.
Total score: 7.9 points
Number 2. Xiao Qi bridal carries his princess of a bride to their chamber – episode 33.
Tumblr media
Style: 3 points
There is masterful handling of clothes and then there are miracles. What Xiao Qi is doing on this occasion can be nothing but the latter; somehow he manages to execute a princess carry while managing his own floor-length ceremonial robes, Awu’s difficult dress with exceedingly long sleeves and a train as well as both of their trailing cloaks. All the while displaying this unwieldy finery to its full magnificence and somehow not landing on his face. Although he noticeably deploys no other dramatic gestures nor tricks except for some very touching and impressively prideful sweet-talk, so it seems like this miracle does require a lot of concentration. But do we really need additional bells and whistles in this case? The judges seem to hold a rather firm opinion on that matter: a bridal carry it is supposed to be and a bridal carry it is, for it really does not get any more bridal, at least not without some reality-shattering shenanigans.
Technique: 2.2 points
Unfortunately, we are again devoid of the opportunity to see the actual lift, which seems like a true pity, taking into account the probable level of difficulty caused by all this wedding finery. Once again Awu is being held rather high, although, to be fair, rather unsteadily – for Xiao Qi, that is, not unsteadily in a particularly dangerous or even visible manner. There is also the matter of her grip; this time Awu locks her hands around Xiao Qi’s neck, which might indicate the need for further support. It is hard to estimate the distance which they might have crossed as we do not know the starting point, but it must have been a rather considerable one and those robes cannot be light.
Hotness: 2.7 points
Having female attendants literally giggle once hit with the aura of overwhelming hotness should be proof enough that this princess carry is truly something special. If it is not, then there is always the look of undisguised manly pride on Xiao Qi’s face, only further affirmed by his words. “Few things can fan the flames quicker than a prime display of manly confidence,” confirms our expert, blushing violently, “as long, of course, as it does not cross over into toxic machoism. In this case we can feel absolutely safe, there is no doubt as to that.” The judging panel, however, decided to award a demerit for a visible lack of surety or excitement on Awu’s face; although caused by external matters, it does seem to retract from the overall mood.
Excellence: 1 point
I am sure that nobody can deny that this particular bridal carry is the most bridal of them all. There is literally no further height to strive for, as far as bridal carries are concerned.
Total score: 8.9 points
AND NOW FOR OUR NUMBER ONE PRINCESS CARRY...
Number 1. Xiao Qi cannot wait to give Awu all the children – episode 29.
Tumblr media
Style: 3 points
There is showing off your wife’s beautiful clothes and there is just plain showing off your skills at the former. Xiao Qi shows himself to be the master of both, somehow allowing Awu’s train to hang very close to its full length and yet managing it in such a way that it doesn’t hinder his steps in the least. He also does it while seemingly paying no attention to his own steps, which takes it to a wholly different level, and while at that, he adds a lot of eye-contact and even a heartbreakingly gentle nuzzle. No wonder that towards the end we can observe a quietly triumphant look under all that manly confidence… and no wonder that this particular carry gets its very own rather dramatic music accompaniment.
Technique: 2.4 points
It is rather unfortunate that we were not able to observe the execution of the lift, although there is no doubt that it is was correct at the very least. What we do see, however, is that Awu is being held very high, which indicates an application of considerable force on the upswing, something that Xiao Qi has already proven himself to be more than capable of. At the same time, the difficulty of this particular carry is rather low due to a rather trifling distance as well as Awu helping quite a lot with how she holds her body and with that gentle, yet very solid grip. However, the judging panel is forced to admit that the steadiness of Xiao Qi’s hold is truly a sight to behold; it takes a true master in order to maintain such a minute face-to-face distance without touching and yet avoid any unpleasant bumps.
Hotness: 3 points
Never has there been a carry more deserving of an NC-17 rating. Even without the prelude there is no doubt whatsoever as to the purpose of this particular exercise; the look which Xiao Qi and Awu share speaks just as loudly as five full-blown kisses would have in any other circumstances. And a smouldering look is not the only thing they share: why, at one point they seem to share the same breath, which turns the chemistry up to unimaginable levels. At the same time, this scorching hotness is masterfully tempered by a sense of pure tenderness and intimacy, which causes the judging panel to bitterly regret their promise not to exceed the maximum score for any single component.
Excellence: 1 point
This princess carry really has everything that an ideal princess carry should have, which is undeniably a kind of excellence in itself. However, that is not what convinced the judges to award the highest number of points possible in this category, but rather the fact that more than one expert has pointed out this particular scene as the reason of their own imminent pregnancy, sometimes with twins or even triplets.
Total score: 9.4 points

Plots please!! (you can ask for any of my ocs tbh i always have muse for all of em)
the meme / accepting
the things muu is taking the opportunity to mention for purely the sake of self satisfaction, because he is far from being opposed to broadening his horizons to get his wishes fulfilled:
Tumblr media
Mistletoe kisses. from everyone. he can wait. Warning: He will say he is fully pledged to the narrative of giving and receiving physical affection of that caliber without getting to really knowing a person, but in reality he is a big liar. He WILL cry while making remarks about being worried about being some kind of lip locking slut, so he is on lockdown. Only well appreciated and platonic kisses to the top of head and cheeks are allowed in this house this holiday season. Those taller than him are legally required to kiss the top of his head, while those the same or smaller are assigned the cheek instead. I'm sorry, but I don't make the laws. I simply just enforce them.
he gonna put out little hands together as if he is a begging orphan child from the 1800s and ask for big brother. No, he does not want to elaborate on what kind of personality or criteria fit his imagination on surrogate older male sibling being gifted to him as a twenty four year old male as it is. all he knows is give.
And a mix of potential plots based on muses Muu has Chosen:
Tumblr media
Of course his first pick had to be Bitterness, because all he saw was TALL. It is both a benefit and a curse for him to not be informed that they are an abusive Leo, because he would probably overlook those details anyways to befriend big and cool looking strong man. I also can't help but feel a tiny bit amused at the thought of this sensitive shortstack going out of his way to befriend this much cooler in comparison individual to talk tattoos, but really it is just him telling this random man about all of the ink he's gotten added to his body that he either saw on tiktok or pinterest. I would thrive experiencing the live reaction of someone coming to learn that Muu has a live, laugh, love tattoo some place on his body.
He would pull two dollars out of his multiple millions in savings to befriend Nisha in a heartbeat. An easy out with that one is both the fact that Muu is absolutely enamored with the idea of being a model that he'd do it again in a heart beat, but he also really misses and admires the prospects of just being an encouraging photographer that the man would just be all up in her business asking his questions to her like he is the one paying her bills. Also all he would need to hear is pretty lady have knick-knacks, because he would do trades with the things he hoards as well without a second thought. lastly, although he would be really just curious over her experiences involving having anxiety, and how they differ from his own, it is actually her true age rather than her perceived age that would have him incredibly intrigued to talk with her and swap perspectives on the complexities of adulthood.
Going off of the concept of never judge a book by it's cover, one character that I know Muu wouldn't think to go and approach for appearances alone, but would actually most likely have a genuine connection with would be Mal. The fact remains that even as he becomes progressively knowledgeable of his own nuances regarding mental health and healing, he still only has a small connection of people he can comfortably dive into those subjects with without inevitably upsetting himself with his own over thinking of any given situation. He would so incredibly down just to share space with someone who has also learned their way around the more difficult times in life, and talk / meditate alongside them while having those first hand moments reminding him he is far from alone when it comes to having to process through bigger feelings than the illusion of life implies there to be.
To be honest, Muu is so very incredibly sweet, friendly, and up front with his promise that he is always ready for an adventure in experiencing something new for the first time; however, he is also admittedly very boring and sheepish that plotting really outlandish things isn't very effective. Those just aren't his speed. He's still rather scared of everything and everyone as he works through the numerous hurdles holding him back from feeling like a completely well person, so friendship and small joys are where his interests lie for the time being. He will hold the SHIT out of someone's hand and talk to them about highly emotionally intelligent topics all damn day, but he ain't the guy to call to rob a bank. not unless you say you have a job for him as the big helper. 🥰🤗 then maybe he's tagging along.

When I was first introduced to Zhan Tiri I didn’t think much of her or who she was cause incoherent/messy writing uezutstks but even so I think like the one ep where she infiltrates Varian’s dream is when I really started to like her. Especially when I rewatched the show like 2 times and then found your blog my admiration for her as a character/villain just grew. Now it boggles my mind to see such hate for her cause I never hated her I just had no opinion on her 💀 but I think it’s because a) she’s a villain who actually did her job as one b) they’re kids cause it’s a kid show oxirxirx & c) butt hurt feelings about her tearing up Cass and Rapunzel’s friendship but I think that one goes in tandem with the first two. Either way not a real coherent way to dislike her imo but ig she’s doing her job as a villain if you do dislike her but idk it might just be me but I love villains no matter the shit they’ve done cause yes to world domination and it’s what the poor baby deserves from all the trauma and bad experiences they’ve endured :(( It’s kinda my brand tbh so Zhan Tiri in general just kinda hits all the right buttons for me dykdtkzi
ksjkfkdg i, um
i feel like the entire rest of the tts fandom hit qfad and went 'oh no! varian!' whereas i hit qfad and went 'DEMON DEMON DEMON MY BELOVED' and then immediately became enraptured with sugracha in painter's block. i uh, did not wait for the show itself to tell me more lmao which did make 3 very interesting to watch because i already had this very well-developed character in my head and to an extent 3 was a game of seeing how well the canon version stacked up. and of course in a situation like that one does have to manage one's expectations and acknowledge that the character living in one's head is, fundamentally, not the character on the screen, so it wasn't like - in no way did i expect to be 'right' about anything with her (although i did get a big kick out of the canon moments that felt bitter snow adjacent, like zhan tiri never introducing herself directly or doing the evil therapist thing and the 'we're not so different' thing with cassandra in OAH).
and honestly i thought canon zhan tiri was fun! while i'm a bit (sometimes more than a bit) salty about the role she played in the story, the lack of development both for her as an individual character and in her relationship with cassandra, and the...everything after she gets her hands on the drops, she's fun, and i had a good time watching her do her thing and like, salty or no going into s3 as a zhan tiri fan i did not leave disappointed.
the fandom on the other hand. 🔪
gjkjksdf it's gotten quite a bit better since the show ended but my god there was a time when the zhan tiri tag was just an endless stream of posts bashing her. but like... even now when the overt hate has petered out for the most part there is virtually no content beyond fics where she's just sort of this even-more-cardboard-than-canon evil entity who exists to torture the faves. but fic where zhan tiri is an important player in her own right, treated like a character rather than a plot device or an angst generator? besides my fics, there's... strings, and destinies fulfilled. expand those criteria to fic that successfully taps into the flavor and fun canon zhan tiri had and we can add murphy's broken effigy series. and that's... it. i want more!!! i'm desperate for more nuanced, fleshed out, interesting takes on zhan tiri and i would actually love it if the fic-writing contingent of the tts fandom in particular could break out of the mold of zhan tiri needing to be evil/a villain—because i think the seeds of potential she has in canon lend themselves very well to anti-villain or even anti-hero roles and i can also think of at least one fic where a fascinating concept for her character was mangled by her being forced into a villain role and framed as a complete monster and that makes me really sad!
...and i've wandered away from the subject at hand gjkskjdfhg tldr i just think she's really neat ToT

Kate Middleton: Prince William’s Decade-Long Mistake - Oct 2010
Who is Kate Middleton? After nearly 10 years of seeing Kate’s recorded behavior, this is my impression: Kate Middleton doesn’t care about any causes, charities or anything outside of living for pleasure. I doubt her ability to handle royal responsibilities – beyond dealing with privileges and paparazzi – because in the ten years the world has watched her, she hasn’t demonstrated she can take on anything but a royal c*ck and a jolly good time. While true, she isn’t married to William and isn’t in fact a royal (and may never be, for all we know), her perseverance implies she’s in it for the long haul and plans to become the Princess of Wales. As such, she should have taken these years to demonstrate to the world that, although she’s a common-bred, middle-class girl, she’s an exceptional lady who rises above the rest. But Kate has failed profoundly in that respect. The last thing the women of the public should be thinking when they see William’s marital choice is, “What on earth makes her so special? I could have done that/been in her place – and done it better! -Maybe I should have gone to St. Andrews!” But that’s what women, including myself, are lead to think of her. Coming from her background, as a common, everyday girl, it shows her complete lack of humility, and is borderline arrogant, for her to assume she can live like a spoiled brat who doesn’t need to prove herself. She enjoys a privileged life that she wasn’t born into – and for the life of many, we can’t understand why. Why was she chosen? Why not someone else? Why not a woman the vast majority can respect and admire? Let’s be honest here: William can have nearly anyone he wants – and he’s settling for this average circus monkey?
At first glance, Kate seemed like a well kept, nicely mannered woman – and well-suited for a royal position. In the first few years of her royal relationship, she shone as an attractive, educated, beautifully fashioned, friendly, and conservatively-behaved young lady. But that was then. Now, upon looking back at Kate’s near-decade as an unofficial princess-in-waiting, her behavior reveals her as a underwhelming choice for the monarchy. She’s demonstrated that she’s far from exceptional, and that aside from her pursuit of a crown, she’s a disappointing, arrogant underachiever of little substance.
Ambitious In All The Wrong Ways:
Those who know Kate often describe her as ambitious; and in the beginning, that’s the side of her the public got to see. Kate worked hard on her academics so she could attend the prestigious St. Andrews University, where William was also set to attend. While there, she met William and completed the same degree as him, in Art History.  Following their graduations, William began the demanding military career he still pursues today. However, surprisingly, the once ambitious-seeming Kate did nothing: She remained jobless for nearly two years, living off of her parents (and William, I’m sure). Kate finally got a part-time job as an accessories buyer at the fashion chain, Jigsaw, but quit after only 11 months. Notably, rumors suggest Kate only got the job to passify Her Majesty, The Queen, who took notice that her grandson’s significant-other was a lazy freeloader. After that, she worked for her parent’s internet business, Party Pieces (which to many read like an unemployment cover-up). Apparently, Kate made updates to their website and took photos for it. That sounds pathetic and hardly full-time. Not to mention, Kate’s monthly getaways to exotic locations with William attest that her parents gave her an overwhelming amount of time off whenever she wanted it. That’s hardly a real job. And if that’s not disappointing enough, Kate quit the job all together in October of 2009 and has officially been doing nothing but shacking up with William while he pursues his career ever since. I’m sorry Katie dear, but for any 28 year old – especially a potential Queen of England – that’s absolutely not good enough.
There are several obvious problems with the reality of Kate’s ambitions (or lack thereof). She was ambitious about her education, but clearly didn’t want or need it for a career – So, what was she even at St. Andrews for, and why was she ambitious about getting there? She graduated from a top notch university, only to settle for unemployment and a job her parents provided? Logically, it’s mismatching for someone to aggressively pursue a top-tier education only to fall flat as a lazy, career-underachiever immediately and permanently thereafter. The fact that Kate did just that leads me, and countless others to believe she was only academically driven so she could put herself in William’s way and try to form a relationship with him. Also telling are the numerous reports by those close to Kate’s mother that Mrs. Middleton pushed her daughter’s attendance to St. Andrews in hopes of her becoming royalty.
Kate: The Attention-Loving Wild Child
When Kate’s not working – and that’s most of the time – she goes shopping, attends leisurely sporting and social events, and parties ’till her heart’s content in Britain’s most luxurious night spots (Paris Hilton style – ick). The photos of her nightlife are less than flattering – actually, they’re flat out embarrassing – especially for the potential next Princess and Queen of Wales. She often looks extremely intoxicated, and her attire and car-exiting-techniques have granted the paparazzi dozens of “crotch shots”.
[picapp align=”none” wrap=”false” link=”term=kate+middleton&iid=756945″ src=”http://view3.picapp.com/pictures.photo/image/756945/kate-middleton-birthday/kate-middleton-birthday.jpg?size=500&imageId=756945″ width=”234″ height=”151″ /] Kate characteristically grinning as she’s hounded by the paparazzi
Any other 28 year old woman would be focused on a career or starting a family – or both; But Kate just parties like she’s some rich 19 year old without any responsibilities. In fact, she’s only too happy to show that side of herself to the paparazzi – and the world. Her parents and William (taxpayer dollars) have financially supported her throughout her twenties – extravagant vacations included – and Kate’s habitual ear-to-ear smile indicates she’s loved every minute of it. As long as she’s attached to William, she doesn’t have a care in the world that other (common) women like her have – aside from her image, and she’s let that fall to the wayside. From the bright red coat she wore to William’s military graduation to the never-failing smile she wears for the paparazzi, Kate’s self-presentation says she loves being a celebrity and all eyes being on her. Unfortunately, Britain needs a princess who naturally exudes a respectable image when she provokes the world to look.
William’s Mistake – William’s Responsibility
I understand William’s need to pick a lady who’ll roll with the punches, deal well with the crazy, public lifestyle (privacy invasion, etc.), and conform to suit the monarchy’s needs. Nevertheless, it’s his mistake in assuming those are the only criteria a future princess must meet. If there was a checklist for the “Qualities of the Most Ideal Future Princess of Wales”, Kate would scantily fulfill 20% of them:
Intelligence and Wit
Humility
Career ambition/self sufficiency
Physical beauty – (C’mon, princesses are supposed to be pretty! -Especially when the prince is popular enough to take his pick. Kate’s…just…okay…)
Noble/Aristocratic blood (if not this, then a woman who stands far above the crowd of other commoners)
Grace and Conservative femininity (that goes out the window when you’ve been banging the prince for a decade without a commitment – Oh, and the rumored accidental pregnancies (abortion fanatic if they’re true! *cough* TMI *cough*))
Charity and service for those in need (I volunteered like crazy in college, and I’m not anywhere near royal… Why didn’t Kate?! – And why hasn’t she since??)
Respectable and responsible image (yeah, umm, no)
Takes on royal responsibilities to earn royal privileges (Kate’s only got the acceptance of privileges part down…)
Aaaand the list goes on…
Of course, there’s the possibility that Kate’s the girl who’s a match for William’s heart. But I doubt it. Kate’s the girl with everything to lose if the relationship fails, and everything to gain if it succeeds – her greatest skill is that she’s willing/desperate enough to jump through all and any hoops, including waiting 10+ years for a proposal – and William knows it.
It may have been 10 years, but it’s not too late for William to turn around and make a better decision. Kate hasn’t been cheated – contrary to some’s beliefs. She’s lived a decade of fantasy and wonder beyond her wildest dreams, and has continually been treated to luxuries she doesn’t deserve. William owes it to himself, and his country to make a responsible choice about the future Princess of Wales. Yes, he needs to choose a woman he loves, but his privileges require sacrifices on his part, and that means choosing a bride that will be an honorable partner for the people’s sake too. If William was going to wait ’till his late 20s/early 30s to wed, he could have waited to meet a woman who’s getting a PhD, or who runs a charitable non-profit organization, for example. But no : Instead, he’s burdening his country with wishy-washy, Waity Katie.
It’s not about choosing a girl who loves being photographed or relishes living her fantasy of being a fashion icon – or even a real, live princess. It’s about choosing a self-sufficient woman who has something amazing to offer the country and the world: A role model, a charitable, caring person who views joining the monarchy as a responsibility, and an opportunity to serve the people – not just an entitlement to luxurious privileges. Right now, the latter is Kate Middleton; And I don’t foresee her entire irresponsible, pleasure-loving personality changing just because wedding vows are exchanged. What we’ve seen is what we’re going to get as Lady Di’s shoe-filler – if William decides to go through with it. One can only hope that won’t be the case.

It's me *again* 😬💖
Can I also get a synastry ship with The Boyz Sunwoo & Hyunjae, please? ♡
Sunwoo is actually my bias and Juyeon my bias wrecker and Hyunjae my bias wreckers wrecker and I also like Sangyeon so I really loved the The Boyz ships! 💕
Sun: Virgo
Moon: Aries
Rising: Leo
Tumblr media
Synastry with Sunwoo :
Tumblr media
So we actually have a birth time for Sunwoo, he was born at 8 p.m in Seoul which gives him a Scorpio rising.
So first of all, you two have a Sun-Moon conjunction in Aries, so he is your ideal man as a marriage partner, someone you feel could fulfill your needs, and he would feel like you understand him, and this bond would be particularly strong because his Sun is at 22 degrees Aries, the exact same degree as your Moon. Since we have 30 degrees in every sign, the stronger the degree, the stronger the aspect between the two planet is going to be felt.
His Moon is in Leo, a fire sign like your Aries moon, and in the same sign as your ascendant. So he would feel like the way you present yourself reflects who he is inside. He would probably admire your regal appearance. Same with his Venus in Aries, he would definitely notice you and like the way you look, but with the Moon/ascendant bond, it's not just surface level, there is an emotional identification on his part.
Now let's look at his 7th house : he has it in Taurus and his Mars is there as well. All his planets in Taurus are ruled by his Venus in Aries. So what he wants in a partner is an earthy, stable, sensual indivual (Taurus), who is also assertive (Mars) and passionnate (Aries Venus). And you fit all these criterias according to your own placements : you are a Virgo (earth sign), all that Virgo falls in your second house which is the house of Taurus, so you possess strong Taurean qualities as well,  maybe you're very stable or you know of to manage money, you like nice smells, nice food, nice clothes, nature, you may like to cook... This is what he wants in a partner. And of course your Aries moon and your Mars in your first house gives you a strong Martian quality as well.
A few issues could be regarding communication : your Mercury in Virgo opposes his Mercury in Pisces. Virgo likes to talk, because Mercury is at home in Virgo, this is really a talent that you possess here, you're logical, intelligent, learn quickly. And Pisces Mercury typically is more quiet, they think with their emotions rather than their logic so it may frustrates you.
His Mars in Taurus is also squaring your Mars in Leo so there could be conflicts, ego battles here. Especially between two fixed, stubborn signs like Taurus and Leo. But both Mars makes more harmonious aspects with your other planets so it makes it easier. Because it's in good aspect with each other’s Sun and Venus, there's a mutual attraction and support when it comes to each other's goals. He would likely help you on a more practical level, while you would cheer him up and encourage him.
One last thing is that you have Aquarius in the 7th house. So every Aquarius type of contact is good for you. And since we know he is a Scorpio ascendant, we can see than your planets in Virgo falls in his 11th house, the house of Aquarius, of friendship, it's a great house to have planets in synastry in any case because we just tend to get on!
Synastry with Hyunjae :
Tumblr media
Hyunjae is a Virgo Sun and Mercury like you. There is a similar expression of the self, similar goals and vision, a very easy communication. With your Venus in Virgo as well, you're going to like him, admire him for his skills, his hard-working nature, his humility, his intelligence, all Virgo qualities. And he would feel appreciated and flattered.
You also have your North Node in Virgo, which is like the point of destiny in your chart. For Indian astrologers, the North Node represents what we are supposed to manifest in this current lifetime. So if somebody's planets touch your North Node, there is like a fated feeling on your part, like that person is meant to play a part in your life, with his Sun it could be to help you understand your place in the world, your purpose. He would be a guiding light for you.
We don't know if his Moon is in Capricorn or Aquarius. If it is in Capricorn, it trines all your planets in Virgo, his earthy Moon matches your earthy Sun, Venus and Mercury. So he would feel loved, understood and encouraged by you. It would be a great connection to have since typically Capricorn Moons have a hard time opening up, especially with his shy Virgo Sun.
He may have a tendency to be a bit depressed at times, pessimistic, because Capricorn is a sign that carries the energy of the planet Saturn. By nature, Saturn is rather slow, restrictive, in general it kinda feels like a bummer lol. So when you have your Moon there, which is all about your moods, emotional patterns, you can imagine how heavy this can sometimes feel on a daily basis. It's also difficult for him to let go of a feeling once it comes to him. But because Capricorn is all business, these emotions are buried deep inside and kept under control, not visible. This may be particularly frustrating for your Aries Moon. You probably are quite expressive emotionally. When you feel something, you wouldn't be the type to hide it. You also have the ability to move on rather quickly. Aries and Capricorn are squaring each other, so emotionally it could be challenging for you two to understand each other.
On the other hand, you may share an ambitious nature and could be both career oriented since your Moon is in the 10th house, which is the Capricorn house of career, reputation, public image etc...
If his Moon is in Aquarius, the emotional compatibility is better. His Moon would also likely fall in your 7th house, so he would be nurturing with you.
His Venus and Mars are in Scorpio. Scorpio goes well with your deep Virgo energy, especially your Venus, there is physical compatibility there. He would like the more quiet side of you, the humility, the depth you possess.
He may have a harder time with your fiery placements though, especially your Mars in Leo. Mars is the warrior within us. When it's squaring another person's Mars, it creates a conflict, and naturally both Mars are gonna fight, especially two passionnate Mars in Leo and Scorpio.
You tend to take action in a visible way (and admire people who do so) you fight head on, especially with Mars in the first house. You also have a certain heroic, noble quality to you. You have dignity, pride. When you are angry, it shows. What you see is what you get.
But he is very secretive, Mars in Scorpio has a lot of energy but keeps it inward, controlled, hidden. He's a bit like a sniper lol. If he's angry with you he may not show it but will not forget or forgive easily and you won't have the patience for that.
So you see we have a pattern here. You have some compatible placements, but overall you have different approach. You may be intrigued by each other at first, but after a while, his energy may be a bit to heavy for you, and it could become exhausting to try to please or understand each other.
So I hope you like it, your compatibility with Sunwoo is especially good in my opinion. 💙💜💛💚💖

I want a creative career but everyone makes me feel its stupid because with a creative degree in something it hard to find a well paying job with it and my mom says I should do something where no matter what I will have a job and those 9-5 jobs im not really into I want it to be fun where I make my own hours and Also make a comfortable living while loving what I do any ideas?
How can I have a creative career and not become a Boring Office Person?
You are not stupid for wanting or pursuing your dreams. I know it’s easier said than done, but don’t let anyone make you feel stupid for wanting to have a creative career!
How you define “creative career” matters. These are the criteria you expressed to me:
those 9-5 jobs im not really into
I want it to be fun
where I make my own hours and
Also make a comfortable living
while loving what I do
Now, let’s unpack that and look at the possibilities. This is going to be a long one.
The Creative 9-5
I think when we’re in high school we’re given the narrative that all office jobs are a) the same, b) boring, and c) not work that is loved. There’s some truth to this, but like most stereotypes, that’s not the whole truth, and it’s an oversimplification of something that’s a very large part of the lives of millions of people. So many jobs take place in an office of some kind, with regular hours that are either prescribed by the employer or decided by each employee. You may not see how being a lawyer or teacher counts as having a creative career, but I admire the way that those folks use words and tools to inspire change.
You can have a 9-5 job that is also more traditionally creative, like working for an animation company, writing magazine articles, designing clothes, or making videos. Take Buzzfeed for example. Many people go into it for a couple of years, get some creative work experience with a steady pay and work in an office. Then, once they’ve got their legs in producing content, they leave Buzzfeed and do freelance work.
The Freelancer
You can also freelance, like doing music gigs, art commissions, comedy shows, or photography. From your perspective, freelancing will give you the freedom to choose when you work, for how long and how often and what projects you pick up. From your mom’s perspective, your freelancing hours will be decided by random people who decide whether or not they want to hire you, for what projects and for how long. In short, you are both correct. When you first start, you will probably be at the whim of whatever gigs/commissions you get, and then when you establish yourself, you’ll have more flexibility to say no or to make your own demands.
The Entrepreneur
You can set up an online or physical store, set your own hours, figure out your own budget, hire your own help. I recommend starting small with Etsy or redbubble, just to get a feel for how selling, pricing, and advertising works. This is why creative folks sometimes end up minoring in business or getting MBAs, in addition to their creative degree. In order to be creative and independent, we often need practical, pragmatic skills, too.
The Intern
We often need to start small and learn the field before we get a handle on what we like, dislike, and want to bring into our long-term careers. My sister just started working for an event management company, and she got home at 2:30am the other day because they were tearing down a wedding. She wants to go into music business, and be a tour manager or similar, but the company is teaching her about booking gigs and organizing events, and she’s getting paid.
The Career Combo
All of this might sound sort of scary, but it can be fun, too! The short answer is life isn’t one big “either/or” decision. Professional musicians who play in an orchestra that meets on a schedule will often take up independent or small group gigs on the side. Sometimes they might play jazz music when all they want to play is Bach, but they get to do what they love and do it for a living. A career is something you build and create over time, and creative careers often end up full of different avenues and opportunities, sacrifices and fulfillment. I recommend contacting small-time artists you admire and asking them how they got their start!
If there’s one piece of advice that I’ve held with me forever, it’s “never stop writing.” I’m a writer; that’s one art form I love most in the world. To you I say, never stop creating art. Bring creativity into whatever you do, whether you’re a jazz singer or a tax attorney or a tax attorney who does jazz gigs on Tuesdays and Saturdays. We need art and creativity in this world, and we need artists and creators, like you.
