"Are you drawing ponies?" a voice suddenly asked from behind you. Quickly snapping the sketchbook in your lap closed, you looked at the source of the voice with wide eyes, dread slowly creeping up your spine.

He's gonna beat me up. He thinks I'm a faggot.

"Uh-um.. yeah. They're for my little sister. She likes copying them." you said, slowly standing up to match the other boy's height. It was Eddie Munson, local wavy-haired, doe-eyed metalhead. You thanked god it wasn't one of the airhead jocks instead, or you probably wouldn't see the light of day again.

Okay, maybe getting a little overdramatic.

Eddie still looking interested in your notebook quickly snatched it away, curiosity seemingly not satisfied by your answer.

"Hey, give that back asshole!"

"Calm downnn I just wanna see what'cha drawing! These are pretty good!" he said as he flipped through the pages, the sketchbook just out of your reach.

"Ooh who's this?" he stopped on a drawing of a person wearing a vaguely sci-fi-looking suit, wires and pieces of armor covering it.

"Ugh. It-it's a thing from Dune. No one specific. Now can you please give it back?"

Eddie seemed like he was contemplating what to do for a few moments, looking at you with a cheeky grin on his face, then finally lowering his arm holding the book.

"Since you asked so nicely. You're a sci-fi kinda guy? Or a my little pony one?"

Snatching it away from him, you shot a half-hearted glare at him before matching his posture, crossing arms and looking at him pointedly. For a second you thought about giving him a snarky answer rather than a real one, but decided against it, coming up empty. Eddie seemed genuinely interested and hadn't beaten you up yet so you chose to humor him.

"Sci-fi, fantasy, adventure, thriller horror kinda guy... I guess. My little pony isn't so bad either. There are dragons in it too."

Eddie seemed pleased by that, telling from the ever-present grin on his face.

"Not that I watch my little pony! It's my little sister, AND by the way just because it's for kids doesn't mean that it's stupid! Kids are pretty smart and it can actually teach pretty important stuff to-- never mind. I-uh. I will go now."

The other boy stood still, body slightly turning to the direction of your leaving form which you could just make out from the corner of your eye-- which just made you want to disappear from the face of the earth all the quicker. That goddamn grin on his lips only spread further, endlessly amused by the little show you put on for him probably.

"Sure thing, pony boy!"

I will never live this down.

dude I haven’t finished it but halts peril is the most ass book in the series so far. this book is just like the last book but way worse. 130 pages of walking and jokes that have gone stale. Then halt is dying with little real scares for a long time. Like his heart doesn’t even stop bruh I totally expected it to be like will gets back at the very last second with the genovesan as HALTS NOT BREATHING QUICK TELL ME!!! But no it was just a rlly lame scene of kidnap guy. “Cleverly” poison guy with his own poison. Out of character violence and dialogue. Oh no the bad guy escaped!!! Nothing happens. Literally nothing happens everything is fine. What. At least we got shirtless halt I bet everyone attracted to males went ohohogo WELL

#Again I haven’t quite finished it I’m almost at the end #the repeated jokes r killing me now #Horace irl #at least Horace in the cloak is fun #other than that this book is the worst so far sorry #I’m still like. Tamaki start of college having epiphanies…Haruhi: “oh wow we’re really all gay I guess people do find each other” and he is like “Haruhi? Do you think that I’m gay?” “Well I guess bisexual, or do you prefer pansexual? you like people of all genders, or regardless?” “I… I never really thought about it.”

it’s a whole thing for him to process… he summons the whole group “you may be surprised to hear this, but I am gay.”

they are like ?????? “Tamaki you were like our gay awakenings you’re the one that made people feel okay about these things”

they each slowly realize he had absolutely no idea, montage of every gay thing he’s ever done… he is like what? but isn’t that what being best friends is like? recall all his statements about being yourself and loving what you love so on so forth, status on the ruling opinion of Tamaki chart turns from respect and admiration to… this guy is an idiot… etc etc and he is like what I had no idea, whole crisis

he recalls this moment he is like “acknowledging who you are, having the courage to admit what you love… isn’t that what it means to be strong?”

“Thank you past me, you are a genius!”

also kaoru is the one that came out Tamaki just somehow made it about him and then it ends up being about all of them… “I continue to learn more about myself… I truly am a man of great depths! I know! We should celebrate! A party to mark the birth of a new, more realized me!”

realizations happening ->
