I wish I was dead.

I'm in tears and trying to write this while my eyes are blurry, please excuse any blunders or mistakes. I'm just so tired, and I've had such an awful day today that I can't stop crying.

My mom asked me if I went mad today, and I wanted to scream in her face that I was - living with a family like mine, it wouldn't be a surprise if I did. I think I'd be frankly shocked if I wasn't diagnosed with at least 20 disorders. I don't want to be a part of this family anymore. Millions of families out there and I had to end up in this one.

I hate my father. I hope he dies quickly. He's an a overachiever and one of those idiots who believes that 'you never stop learning' and wants me to die trying to get into an IIT instead of being happy. Maybe he'll understand that I can't get into an IIT if I'm dead. Or maybe he'll make my corpse solve physics problems and listen to his 'focus, work hard' lectures.

My mother won't stop trying to convince me that my dreams of becoming a writer will not work out because the pay is bad. I don't care about money or big houses or a family - I'm OK with a small apartment and living alone, paycheck to paycheck. I get it, you don't want me to be a writer. Fuck off.

I've been copying in school tests because I don't think I'm smart enough to get anything. I hate what I'm studying, I can't see why it will even matter in my life and I have to compete with so many people that studying has long since become a chore than something I enjoy.

I can't stop crying nowadays. It takes a little bit of emotion and tears begin to well up in my eyes. I miss being happy and young and carefree. I don't want to be a top engineer, I want to be happy and alive. I just can't see my life anymore - I only see a dark void when I try and imagine past tomorrow.

I'm happy no one will see this. At least no one will feel bad when I'm gone.

Billie's new single! 🩷

billie's new song for the Barbie movie is coming tmrw and i'm excited! i love how you can tell she made the cover in one of her notebooks 😄 based off the title i have a strong feeling it'll be lyrically similar to overheated and not my responsibility. i'm also fairly certain it'll be a ballad which makes sense but tbh i would like it if the production was more than just stripped-down piano or ukulele. she said "get ready to sob" in her ig post about the song so i'm guessing the lyrics are gonna be pretty hard-hitting. i guess we'll see!

she also posted this pic as a lil preview in the music video and y'all know i love a vintage billie! her ponytail is so perfectly sculpted, it's very much giving original 1959 barbie 💋 i hope this video is what i thought we were gonna get with the HTE era

What was Billie Eilish made for?

A rather bittersweet contribution to the Barbie movie soundtrack, the singer’s latest clip is a poignant reflection of her career so far, likening herself to the iconic doll; a mere product to be carefully put together and consumed by the masses. Eilish sings as much: ‘Taking a drive, I was an ideal/Looked so alive, turns out I’m not real/Just something you paid for.’ Constant interruptions in the form of earthquakes, windstorms and downpours also allude to the many highs and lows that she’s weathered in her young career.

Heavy on symbolism but light on song, I assume this one probably isn’t gonna be playing during one of Barbie’s fashion montages... (◠﹏◠✿)
