Am I the only one who loves the Phoenix Priestess? The animation style, the plot, how nalu was represented, the angst, that shit was the best. I don't even know how many times I watched it I swear.

How Natsu reacts to the situation, how for the first time he went against Lucy's wishes for her own good and killed the phoenix (thus killing Eclair), THE HUG, the emotional support. SO GOOD

I think it says a lot about the sad state of Hollywood that none of the live action nutrek series have had the balls to set their stories after Voyager, and I think it's because they're too big of fucking cowards to address the issues of the rights and autonomy behind artificial intelligence set in motion in both Voyager and TNG.

Like I get it there's a bunch of interesting stuff that happened between present day and TOS but FUCK THAT SHIT WHAT HAPPENS AFTER VOYAGER!?!?!?!?!?!?

draco malfoy who did not become prince of slytherin on his first day at hogwarts, because that role was already taken.

percy weasley is the last person any outside would expect to run their house. a blood traitor with old robes and no money, no status. but a boy with ambitions and cunning to rival even his elders, one who understands the plight of those expected to be in slytherin and especially those expected to be the opposite.

when draco arrives, percy is a prefect. he wears the same robes his older brothers have, as his parents do not waste their money on their family's biggest disappointment, but he sends letters with an owl named hermes that was gifted to him by the siblings who still believe he's worth it. percy sits beside a boy named marcus flint, and both of them smile and shake the hand of every new first year. their dormmates, two boys named adrian pucey and theodore nott, do the same from across the table.

when draco comes back from christmas break shaking, when he flinches at every raised voice, percy wraps an arm around him and tells his newest snake the same thing marcus told him when he was a first year: "you got the best house."

slytherins are not friends with ravenclaws or hufflepuffs, and they certainly aren't buddying up with gryffindors. their own headmaster does everything in his power to discredit them.

"dumbledore may be brave," percy says, "but we're smarter. here in slytherin, we're a family." here, he doesn't say, we're stronger. he doesn't say it, but it's heavily implied.

severus snape is draco's godfather, percy's favorite teacher, and when a gryffindor girl named hermione accuses him of cursing harry potter, percy does everything he can to prove them wrong.

during draco's second year, muggleborns are being petrified, and draco's father is up to something. he spends his evenings in the dungeons, sobbing into his godfather's cloak, wishing he had the power to make this all better. the morning after harry potter saves ginny weasley, percy's younger sister, from the chamber of secrets, percy sits beside draco and tells him, "don't fret over things being out of your control. knowledge is power, draco. use it."

draco is fourteen when percy leaves, fourteen the first time he comes to hogwarts and the only flashes of red hair are seated at the gryffindor table. fourteen when he becomes slytherin's prince, the head of the family, the one who takes younger students under his wing. he isn't a prefect, not yet, but he is a leader.

knowledge is power, percy told him. draco uses it.

We really need more jealous Lucerys.

But like, instead of grabbing a knife and claiming what's his, Lucerys instead gets self destructive. He starts doubting himself and starts comparing himself to the other woman and gets himself so worked up he will cry.

(as much as I love jealous Lucerys with a knife, I see him doing this more then grabbing a knife)

Like there is a feast and Lucerys is sitting beside his mother, seething as he watches Aemond laughs with a woman on the floor.

His hands balls into fists as anger settles in his belly until he can't take it anymore so he stands up and marches over towards where Aemond is.

Now he knows he can't move Aemond unless Aemond allows him to, and it only proceeds to make him more upset as Lucerys drags Aemond out of the room and into a small space where they wouldn't be seen.

"What are you doing?" Lucerys demands and Aemond only smirks at him, the fucker probably enjoying his torment on lil Luce.

"I was having a nice conversation until I was dragged here."

"You are playing games is what you're doing Aemond."

"Jealous are we?" Aemond asks and Lucerys only glares.

"Now why would I be jealous?"

"I mean you did drag me away from her and here where no one can see us, away from a party where your mother watched you drag me away."

Lucerys doesn't say anything, instead he glares before he huffs in annoyance. Aemond wasn't his to claim, yes they may be dancing around each other and the idea of someone else taking his Uncle's attention makes him want to lock himself in his room or stab something.

Why would his Uncle want someone as pathetic as him? Lucerys doesn't like swords or knives after what happened in their childhood, he can't flutter his eyelashes and gets what he wants, he isn't confident on himself.

He was useless. Coddled and spoiled. He had nothing going for him.

"Whatever, go back to her, I don't care."

Aemond pins him, pushing in close as he doesn't allow Lucerys to leave.

"But you do care or else we wouldn't be here would we?"

Aemond is right, Lucerys does care and that night Aemond doesn't go back to the dance. He instead stays with Lucerys and claims him as his. He wipes away the tears that Lucerys cries and holds him close.

The AFL looked at the criticisms interstate teams have of Victorian teams and how little they travel comparatively and decided the best way to address that was have Melbourne teams play rounds against each other in areas like Alice Springs and Tasmania across the entire season and allowing interstate teams to get more rounds at the MCG -

Actually no sorry my bad, I got that confused with my fantasy AFL fixture. They’re actually [squints] chopping up round 1 and playing it in NSW and QLD over two weeks. Round 1. Of a 26 round season. Vicbias has been fixed guys well done 10/10.

James lets Regulus take a sip from his cup before he starts speaking. Once Regulus' cup is back on the table, James starts immediately, “I want to know why you hate me so much.”

Regulus, with his hands now folded perfectly on his lap, shrugs carelessly, “I don’t hate you.”

James' mouth drops in shock as he leans forward, resting his elbows restlessly on the table, “Everything you publish about me says otherwise.”

Regulus looks bored, if anything, and something sinister glistens in his eyes. He takes a moment and then, “That’s just how journalism works.”

James scoffs and leans back again, taking a good look at the man before him, “Well that doesn’t seem fair.”

Regulus makes a small sound like a short huff of laughter, “Oh it’s not. All I have to do is open my laptop and I could save or destroy your career.”

James feels the way his shoulders drop, “Well-" but Regulus is out of his seat in one swift movement before James even finishes his sentence.

Regulus places one hand on the table and leans in, stopping just over James' face, “Because at the end of the day, sweetheart, they don’t care about what you do, they just care about what I can do to you. And there’s nobody to stop me.”

James doesn’t get to respond before Regulus is straightening up and walking away without another word.

James blinks in shock before he looks down at where Regulus' hand just was to find a small paper sitting there. James picks it up and reads the delicate handwriting:

game devs gotta figure out how to make scars that aren't just texture overlays. i want to see scars that significantly change features. tired of dollfaced characters with big scars across their faces that don't do anything except making them look like they fell into a nettle bush.
