WIBTA for ghosting someone in RP?
This is a very chronically online problem, I'm aware, but I could use Tumblr's input. This is kinda long, so tl;Dr at the end.
So I (ftm), Z (nb), and O (f) (ages unimportant, but we're all adults) have a server for a shared fandom of ours. There are other people on the server too, but they're relatively unimportant to the problem.
One of the major channels to note was an rp channel. Things started off peachy keen! Everyone was having a grand old time! However, little problems started to pop up. O began introducing some ocs to the rp group chat, which, while outlandish for the setting (her ocs were ghosts from 1500's Minecraft Germany or whatever? I'm still not entirely clear since she's bad at continuity). And while I'm not against more out there ocs, the issue was how she used them, constantly trying to solve problems instantly. They felt more like MacGuffin's than characters. But whatever, she's our friend so we didn't really care.
Then, the racism incident happened.
It's a cool name, but sorta makes it sound more important than it was. Basically O had "monster form" at the end of each of her characters names, since apparently they had human forms too. Well, in an argument, a character referred to the group of ocs as monsters (since, how else would you refer to all of em at once?), and in one of her ocs replies they said smth like "oh btw thanks for the racist remark".
IMMEDIATELY in the ooc chat, Z and I both go "hey man, we're not playing the racism game", which... caused O to leave the server temporarily. Fun.
The relevance of the racism incident is to show why we can't just talk to her ooc about the upcoming issues.
((Very offhandedly she also keeps trying to pressure Z specifically into rping? Even though Z has made it clear many times this month that they are busy with the holidays??))
Anyways, time passes and O keeps wanting to tack on useless shit to her characters (both canon and ocs) for literally no reason. From "Bruno esk powers" to "shapeshifting genitals", it just felt like feature creep.
Eventually this comes to a head when she asks if her 32 year old character could be a WWII veteran.
You know. In the text chat based rp where characters use hashtags and emotes and talk about Twitter.
After a small back and forth between Z and O in the ooc chat, Z just kinda, gave up. Part of the reason they made the server was to transfer their previous rp writings to a server they own, so they don't have to worry about it getting deleted. (Before anyone assumes Z is just being strict, trust me. Z had been very accommodating with letting me and O make inputs and have our characters make an impact. This wasn't an issue of O's lack of control, but rather lack of care about the setting.)
Z admitted in a group chat with just me and their partner that they basically are just going to give up on their previous rp, and just let O do whatever she wants.
This really, and I mean REALLY, ticked me off.
Now, I will not start a ruckus about it on the server itself since I know Z hates confrontation, but now I've just settled on to give O the cold shoulder in rp, not replying to her ocs, barely interacting with her canon characters, etc.
I feel like in character I have a valid reason to ignore her (her ocs made one of my ocs upset, and my other characters are upset for him), but I can't tell if this would be too mean?
ALSO quick little note I forgot to mention above, but it's basically just the three of us in the rp chat, so with Z busy for the holidays, I'm the only other person who O would be able to rp with, if that impacts the vote.
TL;DR - Someone in a rp server is being a right ass and we cannot talk to her about it without potentially starting a huge fight, now I want to ignore her in rp. WIBTA

1. Three ships: shivshipping (sylvester x kiryu) it owns my life forever and ever idc if it's my oc x canon it counts to me. they are the train wreck i constantly play over and over in my head. and then toolshipping (bruno x yusei) is probably my favorite canon x canon ship. they're so cute and tragic. finally destinyshipping (edo x saiou) genuinely such a good ship i barely see anyone talking about. their history kinda fucked me up while watching gx ngl.
2. First ever ship: i do not remember lmao. the furthest back i can remember is aztecshipping (yuma x iii) i can distinctly remember doing aztec rp with my friend on minecraft many many years ago. before that i have no clue. i don't think i shipped much of anything prior to that. i don't ship very often in general lol
3. Last song: elysium by invert animate. i really like without a whisper off the same album (heavener) so i decided to listen to it in its entirety last night.
4. Last movie: grave of the fireflies iirc. very fucking sad but good.
5. Currently reading: nothing rn i just finished we have always lived in the castle by shirley jackson the other day. it definitely took a bit to hook me but it was worth it. very much a ghost story/local folktale prequel type book. i also finished revelator by daryl gregory recently and i would totally recommend it if you like horror and southern gothic. i might start if it bleeds by stephen king soon or one of the other books i have lying around.
6. Currently watching: again nothing rn 😭 i finished fullmetal alchemist brotherhood a while ago and i'm not really ready to take anything else in yet. i want to watch the 2003 version but no idea when i'll get around to it.
7. Currently consuming: minecraft videos and video essays lmao.

Hi senor! This is a mushy ask and you don't have to respond if you don't want to, but has Miguel taken you on any dates recently? Have you guys had a second kiss👀👀👀👀
Oh, yes, we do! It is a bit hard, cause I'm not super comfortable going into town yet, but Miguel said he doesn't really mind! He recently took me on a walk around town, just talking about things, and then took me to his house, where he made us a really nice dinner! Then he put some music on and we slow-danced in his living room. It was a really nice date...
And we've definitely had our second kiss! Almost as good as the first one! We were outside in Casita's garden and he was helping me water and take care of them cause it was Isabella's day off, and when I looked up from some flowers I was watering, he was looking at me funny, so I asked him what was wrong, and he just said, "I'm just thinking about what a lucky guy I am to have you in my life". Then we kissed!
I don't know what number kiss we're on now, though.

Not gonna lie, there's a part of me that wants to. It's been like 6 years or something since I was on either of those blogs but sometimes I'll look back on them and remember how much fun I had creating stories and making friends with other blogs. Al and Heiderich are still very much living in my head rent free and I've recently had a lot of time freed up that I want to use to get back into some of my old hobbies. So even though I'd have to take some time to refresh my memory on the characters and world (it's been a hot minute since I watched any canon fma material), I'm not opposed to the idea. The only problem I guess is that I have no idea if people actually still rp on Tumblr anymore. It's been so long, I've got no clue what the current scene looks like.

I just think it would be very nice if when people make fma related zines and say "oh this is celebrating ALL forms of fma" or "the content in this is more general fma" that they'd actually do that. I'm getting a little tired of buying these things, hoping for it to represent the franchise in all it's forms, only for it to be 99% Brotherhood and hardly anything else

Yeah, Irina represents one of my ideal beauty standards: A fairly tall woman, long legs, somewhat strong back, toned body (not muscular, not skinny, not overweight; a balance between muscle and fat), with golden blonde hair and spiral curls and GREEN eyes which are my favorites... and... boobs *-Sweats-*
It was an oc that I created to be beautiful in my eyes, but it seems to be drawing other people's attention as well.
There is also Zazu, who honestly if I idealized him as someone very attractive because I love serious men, in addition to the fact that his features are also my ideals and apparently he's also attracting attention

Aaaah... Don't check my replies since many times my keyboard changes some words, and a very common problem is that I change the pronouns. Maybe it's because it's not set to the English language sjsjsjsj

What's top on your list to do prior to patch 6.5?
My personal list looks a little like this:
Update my RP carrd its very outdated
Redesign my personal and FC house
Gpose all the ideas I have written down on paper maybe?
Update my "magic" folder we don't talk about bruno
Possible character redesign again because I have commitment issues (honestly it won't be anything major but may coincide with RP events™ )
Level most jobs to 90, yes that means tanks too but only with duty support because I am a big weenie.
...wait when is patch 6.5 again this list is getting long 😅

Do I Follow Them? Yeah, I follow a few of Ally's blogs, even if I suppose that Petal's blog is the most active among them. So far I've enjoyed writing with all the characters they have offered me, so while I don't mind focusing on one muse, I kinda miss some of the other interactions from time to time xD
Why Did I Follow Them? Damn, it's been a while since we followed each other, over a year, I think...? 🤔 I honestly don't remember who followed first, I think it was Ally for her Meg blog tho! They seemed nice and very interested in interacting and I didn't have many RP partners here back then, so I was more than glad to interact with them. I'm glad that they found him and that we're still writing to this day
Do We Role Play? Yes, we are! Mostly with her Petal blog, but we also have two active threads on their HB / HH multimuse! Plus the random asks here and there 😺
Do I Want To Role Play With Them: I'm always happy to write with them 😺 There's so many combos of muses we can use and, while I do have my favourites, I'm always open to new ideas 😎
An AU Idea For Our Muses: Damn, I always struggle with this one xD I guess that a possible AU it could be a Role / Species Swap? I'm not sure about how they'd meet tho🤔
A Song For Our Muses: A good one is "Count on Me" by Bruno Mars, for Morty & Petal!
Do I Ship Our Muses? Platonically, we have quite a few relationships. I think that the most developed one after Morty and Petal is the weird rivalry between my Evil Morty and @evilmcg. We also wrote their Slick Morty and my Rick OC (AR) for quite some time. As for non platonic ships, I think that so far the only one is Rick & Petal's fuck buddies arrangement? 🤔 I hope that I'm not forgetting someone xD
What I Think About The Mun: Ally is great! They are one of my most interacting mutuals and I'm really grateful for that. They send me more asks than all my other mutuals put together I think xD Also they are always willing to plot and talk ideas and that's something that I truly appreciate, since unfortunately good communication is a rare thing in the rpc.
Overall Opinion: Petal is a very interesting and captivating character, I high recommended checking her out! She's also very easy to crossover with and plenty of shenanigans to write. Also plenty of chances to build arcs, since she has a complex past and plenty of NPCs that belong to it!
