day 1 - red velvet
Tumblr media
You gasp for air after having ran 3km with your golden retriever dog Daisy. You're exhausted as you look around your surroundings, wondering where the perfect spot for taking a snack break would be.
A small café at the corner of the street catches your interest, with its aesthetically pleasing exterior decoration. You bat and eye upwards to see a big sign saying "Cherry Charm Café". You smile as you have high expectations for discovering this lovely café.
You cross the street with Daisy, as you walk towards the café. You notice the café isn't crowded at all, and rather quite. Knowing the nearest Starbucks only was a few minutes away from the café it made sense.
Pushing on the door handle you see a very cozy interior of the café, kind of cherry themed as the sign signaled. Surprised of how underrated the café was you quickly leash Daisy at the indoor seating area and take a few steps forward to read the menu.
"Berry-Cherry Parfait", "Cherry Chip Scones", "Cherry Blossom Waffles" and "Ruby Red Refresher" was quite some delightful food and drink names on the menu. You suddenly hear the voice of an old lady at the cashier.
"Hello dear, what may i get for you?" she smiles warmly at you as she approaches the register. You didn't expect the sweet lady to be the only one working there, so you behave your best to make sure you don't make a rude impression on her.
"Hi! Im not quite sure what to get, i was wondering if you could recommend me your favourite drink of the item? Im sure you have excellent taste!" i reply as i compliment her.
"Oh thank you darling, i would say the Cherry Iced Tea is my favourite! It has been my daily ever since the shop opened a few months ago. I know that the Cherry Almond Bliss Muffins aren't really a drink, but you need to have a taste of them!"
"That's brilliant, then i'll order one of those and the iced tea aswell!" you say as you mess around in your pouch trying to find your payment card. As you finally swipe the card on the card reader the old lady smiles as she prepares the drink for you.
You tell the old lady that you will be sitting on the second floor at the balcony, and she noods her head making sure your order will be assisted directly to your table.
Shortly after you see a pretty girl, seeming to be around your age. She has a cherry themed casual wool dress on, wich perfectly complimented her sharp angled shoulders. She held a tray with the delicate looking muffin and iced tea, as she smiled at you while walking up the stairs. She was walking towards you with her clicky white dolly heels, as she flipped her straight black hair behind her.
"Hello, thank you so much for visiting our café! Heres your order." she smiles warmly and squints her cat resembling eyes in a cute way, as she bows slightly to place the tray on the table.
"T-thank you!" you stutter slightly still amused by her captivating presence. You can't stop focusing on her beauty, and you stare at her eyes deeply.
"Do you need anything else..?" she smiles akwardly at you as she gestures her hands infront of her. She seems to have noticed you staring at her, and shes rather curious than uncomfy.
"Uh.. may i ask what your name is..?" you nervously ask.
"My name? its right here on my badge. Jennie." she replys as she points to the badge on her dress.
"Oh i didn't notice.. thank you Jennie.." you say slightly shy because of her alluring charm.
"No worries, you can ask me for anything! I don't have many customers coming here, so take your time!" she smiles as she steps away slightly, letting you eat in peace. Afraid of her leaving so quickly you impulsively ask "W-wait! if you don't have much to do.. can you acompany me while i eat?.. i apologise if its a weird request.."
"Huh? are you sure that you wont be uncomfy with a stranger sitting with you while you eat..?" she looks weirdly at you as she chuckles slighty.
"I-i wont! you seem really nice.." you say, noticing the conversation getting weirder and weirder.
She sighs as she smiles and sits infront of you while putting one leg over the other. She notices you taking a slurp of the drink, as she wanted to ask you how it tasted.
"So..?"
"Its pretty tasty, i like it!" you smile at her as she seems pleased by your answer.
"Awesome, im glad you liked it!" she tilts her head slightly as she puts her palms together as a sign of gratitude. "My grandma told me that you had good manners towards her, im thankful for your kindness!" she smiles at you as she watches you take a bite of the cake.
"Shes a sweet lady, no wonder she's you're grandma with how you both share that personality trait." you say complimenting her as Jennie gets flustered.
"Aww you're too kind! You seem quite familiar.. do you also go to Londale High?" she looks curiously at you.
"Yes i do, im a senior there!" you tell her as she smiles endearingly at you .
"Really? me too! Miss Patel..?"
"From history class!" you finish her sentence as you both chuckle slightly.
"Ive never noticed you, thats crazy!" she smiles at you as she leans in closer getting more interested in the conversation.
"I haven't seen you before either, but im happy to hear you go there! maybe we could meet up sometime?" you ask invitingly as she noods at you.
"Mhm, i would love that! you seem like a lovely person!" she smiles as she holds both your hands in a friendly way and tilts her head slightly as she smiles.
You blush slightly by her gesture, but looking at her you notice she seems like a clingy person, so you dont mind.
"Want to go to the mall later on today? i heard they have a huge sale!" you ask her as she rests her head on her hand.
"Sounds awesome, heres my number!" she pulls out a sticky note and a pencil from her pockets and starts writing down her number.
"I have taken a lot of your time and i should be heading out. Thank you for everything, and i love you're grandmas muffins!" i smile at her as i put the sticky note in my bag and push the chair in.
"I loved taking with you, no need to apologise!" she smiles at you as she brushes off her dress and picks up your plate, and walks with you downstairs. She stood outside the staff-only room just about to enter, as she noticed Daisy and said "Bring your sweet dog with you!" she smiles at you as you smile back and reply "Will do!" and see her leave.
You take Daisy's leash in your hand as you walk out the café, thinking about Jennie's bubbly and cute personality.. you really liked Jennie. But to take things slowly you wanted to get to know her before really just assuming that she's the one.
You start running with Daisy again, just mesmerised by your interaction with Jennie, the sweet waitress.
hi yall this is the first jennie kim x fem!reader im creating, if theres any grammatic errors i apologise since english isnt my first language! thank you for reading. also guys was this too fluff or boring? and comment if i should make a part 2!

Chocoholic | Daniel Seavey
Tumblr media
Pairing: Daniel Seavey x Reader
Summary: An alternate universe where you crave the food that your soulmate eats. The more one eats, the more the other will crave it.
Warning(s): None
Word Count: 1430
A/N: I really liked the idea for this imagine, but I’m not sure how I feel about the finished product. Please let me know what you think, any kind of feedback is highly appreciated.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I get off the phone with my friend and turn on the TV, glad to finally hear about something other than her impatience to meet her soulmate and get them to stop eating shrimp. Apparently, this is the third time her soulmate has eaten it this week, which wouldn’t be a big problem, if it wasn’t for her shellfish allergy. It must suck to crave something you literally cannot eat. Luckily for me, my soulmate doesn’t have any weird food habits. I do find myself craving apple juice quite often, but that is about it.
I get up from the couch to have another chocolate chip cookie. While on my period I usually resort to ice cream as my comfort food, but lately I’ve gained an obsession with chocolate. This week has been especially bad, and I have eaten every single piece of chocolate in my house. I am now on the second to last cookie, and I groan as I realize I’m going to have to leave the house and get more chocolate. I have been living on the couch for the past two days and I know that I look like a mess. The thought of having to shower and make myself look somewhat acceptable triggers another groan to leave my throat. What one does for chocolate.
Daniel’s P.O.V.
We are finally finishing up in the studio after a long day of recording, and I’m packing up my stuff when Jonah suggests we order take-away pizza to bring back home with us. We all agree and settle into the car while Jonah is on the phone. The drive to the pizza-place takes almost ten minutes, and we’ll have to wait at least another fifteen before our pizzas are done. Corbyn spots a grocery store further down the street and asks me to go with him to get us something to drink. I agree, and we head over to the store. Inside, we walk towards the sodas, but I stop short at the sight of the chocolate isle. I’m pulled towards it, my feet moving like they’ve got minds of their own. I have had an insane craving for chocolate the past three days, and it has been annoying the hell out of me, because I hate chocolate. Yet here I am, looking at all the colorful bars, not wanting but seriously needing it.
Y/N’s P.O.V
I push open the door to the grocery store close by my house. I had showered, put on pants, and “fixed” my hair, aka made it look slightly less like a bird’s nest. Even though I didn’t really want to leave my couch, I really wanted chocolate. Walking through the mostly empty store I make my way to the candy section. My stomach cramps up, and I hardly notice the other person standing in the isle, only focusing on getting my chocolate and going home to my couch and Netflix.
My hand instinctively reaches towards a bar of plain milk chocolate, and I am surprised when instead of getting hold of the chocolate, my hand crashes into another. I look up to see a tall, blonde boy with eyes so startlingly blue I almost gasp out loud. We look at each other for just a second too long, making the air around us thick with awkwardness. He clears his throat, and I avert my gaze, suddenly finding the floor remarkably interesting.
I glance up at the boy again, opening my mouth, hoping my brain can come up with something to defeat the awkward silence. Thankfully, I’ve been in a lot of social encounters, and my brain naturally comes up with witty, intelligent comments, fitting the situation I’m in. A couple of hours after the interaction. For now, all that comes out of my mouth is a low “umm” sound. The boy in front of me simultaneously starts with an “ehh,” and I see redness cover his cheeks, no doubt matching mine. He moves his head and hands in a weird little gesture, and I interpret it as a silent offer of the chocolate. I smile slightly, grab the bar off the shelf, and automatically tell him “thanks”.
I contemplate turning around and leave, but something is holding me back. “You’re a chocoholic too?” I ask the blonde, mentally applauding myself for managing to form a coherent sentence. He shakes his head, something between a smile and a grimace forming on his face. “Not really, I’ve just been craving it lately.” I nod my head in understanding, before responding, “I usually prefer ice cream, but I’ve recently been getting more into chocolate.”
Daniel’s P.O.V.
Another awkward silence settles between us, but I can’t bring myself to end the conversation, if you could call it that. Suddenly, Corbyn comes around the corner, calling out to me, “Dan, I’ve got the drinks! Should I get you some apple juice as well?” I don’t know if I want to hug him or yell at him for the interruption. “Yeah, that would be great, thanks.” The cute girl in front of me lets out a tiny laugh, and I glance back at her as she says, “That’s so weird, I don’t love apple juice, yet I somehow always crave it.”
Studying her standing there, bar of chocolate in hand, something inside my brain clicks. “You don’t think…” She looks at me quizzically, not understanding where I’m going with the conversation. “That, like, you and I are…” Her eyes widen and her mouth opens slightly as she catches on to my thoughts. I quickly realize how weird and creepy I must seem to her, and mutter out, “never mind, of course not, that’s just stupid….” I turn around and walk away, embarrassment flooding through my body.
Y/N’s P.O.V
I hastily walk after him, softly calling out “hey” as I grab his arm. He turns around, and for a second I’m speechless once again, but my head clears enough for me to tell him, “I never caught your name”. He looks both hesitant and relieved at the same time, staring at me with his captivating blue eyes, “It’s Daniel.” I hold out my hand for him to shake while introducing myself, and once our hands touch I feel a chill run up my arm and spread through my whole body. “Well, Daniel, I don’t know if we’re soulmates, but I think you’re cute and I’d love to hang out sometime.” He takes a moment to react, and then he quickly pulls his hand away, fumbling around in his pockets. “Y-yeah, for sure, sounds great! Just let me, umm”. Daniel pulls out his phone, and I get my own, opening the contacts app and handing it over to him. I type my number in his phone and he types his, then we swap phones again. Silence enfolds us again, but this time it feels less awkward. There is an electricity in the air, fueled by the knowledge of what we might be to each other.
Our moment is once again broken by Daniel’s friend, who yells “Daniel, stop flirting and let’s go!” Warmth spreads over my face, and Daniel takes a small step backwards towards the entrance. “It was nice to meet you Y/N”, he says, slowly walking towards the doors. “You too Daniel”, I tell him, watching him reunite with his friend who smirks and mutters something to Daniel, earning himself a punch in the arm. I smile to myself and walk to the register to pay for my chocolate.
I’m finally back in my couch, remote in hand and scrolling through Netflix while munching on chocolate. I consider finding a new movie or series to watch, but
decide against it. Instead I pull up Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and re-watch old episodes of my favorite comedy-cop show. My phone beeps, indicating a new message. Reaching over to the table, I pull it up and see a notification for a new message from cute grocery-store-guy. I smile as I open Daniel’s message, the TV and chocolate forgotten. It was really nice to meet you today, Y/N. I have to work this week, but what do you say I take you out to lunch or dinner on Saturday?  I’m about to respond, when three bubbles pop up, showing Daniel is writing another message. Also, I don’t know if we’re soulmates, but I actually can’t stand chocolate, so maybe you could stop eating it, just in case?  I chuckle to myself and settle in for an evening of chatting with Daniel, no longer needing chocolate to distract me from my period cramps.
Best Friends Part One
Y/N imagine
I’m Zach Herrons best friend. Our moms were best friends so when they found out they were having kids the same year they knew we were going to be friends. I was born one day after him. I was born with this rare condition (I’m totally making this up so don’t quote me this is totally fake I think😂😂.) I stayed in the hospital forever thoguh. This condition made me super smart and learn things quicker but I had almost no chance ever of having kids and I had a great memory. I was speaking with only being a month old and could walk. Still me and Zach were best friends. We took many naps together as kids and still do. Zach may be famous but he is still my best friend.
Today Zach was coming home! I had everything planned out and perfect! I was hanging out with Ryan and Reese and Mr. and Mrs. Herron. Because of my condition I did all online classes and was already finishing up most of my classes. I was majoring in music and math. I do have a YouTube channel thoguh and it is pretty famous because 1) Zach was on it quite a bit and 2) I could sing amazingly. So I really have no idea what I am going to do. Then Zach opens the door and he gives his family a hug then picks me up and spins me around. The twins ( people call you this because you are one day apart and are exactly alike) are back together his mom said.
To be continued....
Marked | Jack Avery
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jack Avery x Reader
Summary: An alternate universe where everyone has a dark mark showing where their soulmate first touches them.
Warning(s): None
Word Count: 1970
A/N: So, this ended up a lot longer than I expected it to… I truly enjoyed writing this, please let me know what you think.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It is 6:45 AM on a Friday morning, and I am on my way to kindergarten. I love working with little kids, but now that summer is approaching, they are all hyped up and somehow even more energetic than usual. It has been a long week, and I am ready for a weekend to unwind and sleep. I pull into the parking lot at 7 AM and meet Maisie and Levi inside. Maisie is my boss, she’s 62 years old and has been working here almost as long as this place has existed. Levi is 28 and started working here three years ago, a couple of months before me. Today it is only us three working, seeing as a lot of the parents pick up their kids early on Fridays.
Levi and I are on our way outside to make sure everything is ready for the children. Forecast says there will be plenty of sunshine today, making it a perfect day to spend out in the garden. “Y/N, I need you in here! Levi you head outside.” Maisie calls out when we open the door. “What do you need?” I ask her. “Adrian arrived 20 minuets ago and he is sitting alone in the drawing room. Could you go keep him company until the others get here?” I look at her with a puzzled expression, “Why did he come so early? I mean, we still don’t officially open until 15 minutes.” Maisie shakes her head and tells me his mother had a meeting out of state and had to leave early. “She told me yesterday, so I got here at 6:30.” I smile at her, thinking there aren’t many people who would go to work earlier to help out the way Maisie does.
I walk into the drawing room and head over to Adrian who is sitting at a table surrounded by paper and colored pencils. “Hi there Adrian, would you mind if I joined you?” He shakes his head without looking up, focusing on the drawing in front of him. “What are you drawing?” I ask, trying to get a look of his work. He sighs and looks up at me, a frown on his face. “I’m trying to draw me and my parents in our garden, but I can’t draw flowers.” “Hmmm”, I put my hand on my chin, making an exaggerated thinking-face. “I might have something to help you.” I use my key to open a cabinet and take out our arts-and-crafts box. I put it on the table, and take out stickers, stamps, gemstones and glue and help Adrian make a colorful garden with flowers, butterflies and everything else he wants to add.
“Hey, what’s that mark on your hand?” Adrian had stayed silent, working intently on his drawing, but now his focus is fixed on my right hand. I glance down, dropping the colored pencil I was drawing with and placing my hand flat on the table. “It’s a soulmate mark”, I tell him, seeing confusion spread across his face. I smile slightly at his innocence before explaining further, “It shows up as you get closer to meeting your soulmate, marking the place where they first touch you.” I trace the outline of the dark brown shape that covers the back of my hand. “Does that mean you will meet your soulmate soon?” Adrian asks, examining my hand. “Unfortunately, I don’t know. It can be in two days or two years; you can never be sure exactly when it will happen.” Adrian carefully lifts his hand and places it on top of mine, trying to cover my mark. His hand is much too small to fit, but I smile at the gesture. “What will happen when your soulmate touches the mark?” he enquires. “I think it fades to a lighter color, but it never disappears.” Adrian nods his head, pulls his hand away and turns back to his drawing.
Other kids start showing up, and as some of them join Adrian, I head over to Maisie to go over the schedule for today. As planned, we spend most of the day outside in the sun, joyful shrieks and children’s laughter filling the air. A few parents come to pick up their children at 1 PM, and by 2:30 only two kids remain. Levi plays with them outside, while Maisie and I start cleaning up inside. Once all the kids have been collected, Levi comes to help us. With all three of us we have the place tidied up and spotless in no time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Back home I take a shower and wash my hair, make myself a cup of tea, and sit down on my couch with a book. My friend Theresa calls me just as I reach a cliffhanger, and I consider just ignoring her but decide against it. “You are joining me at a party tonight!” It’s always straight to the point with her, never any sugarcoating. However, I am really tired and not feeling up for a party tonight. I tell her as much, but she is determined, arguing back, “Nope, you have been around little kids all week, you need to socialize with people your own age!” I tell her that I have coworkers my age, but she ignores me, proceeding to talk about her roommate’s friend’s cousin’s party at an apparently mansion-like house. “If I say I’ll come, will you stop talking?” I half joke, cutting her off. She instantly agrees, telling me she’ll pick me up at eight, before hanging up. I pick up my book again, deciding to just enjoy my alone time before I have to start getting ready.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Theresa wasn’t kidding when she labeled the place as mansion-like. The house is gigantic, complete with the fancy entrance, (containing, you guessed it, a chandelier), and a huge pool in the back. Loud party-music is blasting from speakers in every room I enter. There are tons of people here, and though I know quite a few of them, I’m still not in the mood to mingle. I make my way up a grand staircase, searching for a place less crowded and hopefully somewhat quiet. As I am contemplating finding Theresa and telling her I’ll just take an Uber home, I spot a figure sitting crouched up in the corner of the hallway. It’s a guy dressed in all black clothes, with hair so curly I’m thinking he has to have had it done in a hair salon. His knees are pulled up to his head, covering his face, and his arms are wrapped around his legs. His hands are covered in rings, and one of them displays part of a tattoo. I am struck by the sudden desire to know everything about him and his tattoo. When did he get it? How does the whole thing look? Is there a meaning behind it? Does he have any others? I shake my head and collect my thoughts. My friends always joke about how I was destined to work in a kindergarten, because of what they call my “mom-instincts”. I don’t know if that is a real thing, but upon seeing his crouched-up figure, I have an urge to comfort the boy.
I walk over to him, clearing my throat a little before speaking softly, “Hey, are you okay?” He just shrugs his shoulders, and I slide down to the floor beside him, making sure to maintain some distance between us. “Is there anything I can do for you?” I keep going in my soothing voice, trained up from years of speaking to scared children. The curly-headed guy shakes his head, still not looking up. I move a little closer and gently place my right hand on his left cheek to get him to look at me. “Hey” I say again, this time a hint of concern latched into my voice. He finally looks at me, and I am dazed by the deep brown eyes staring into mine. After a second of sitting in silence gazing into each other’s eyes, his grow wide, and he moves his left hand, covering my right one. At first, I think he’s going to yank my hand away and leave, but he simply presses it closer to his face, his mouth parting slightly. It takes a moment before I feel it. A burning sensation that starts on the back of my hand and spreads through my whole body. I let out a gasp, but it’s not from pain. I am on fire, but it doesn’t hurt. It’s a feeling, not only of warmth, but also love and home and belonging all at once. It is overwhelming, yet I never want it to fade.
A sudden stinging spreads over the back of my hand, making me pull it away from the boy’s face. Looking down at it I see the previous dark brown mark, now turned into only a shadow of the hand that touched my skin. Looking back up at the boy sitting in front of me, I see a shadow of a hand, my hand, marking his cheek. I reach out to touch his soulmate mark again, smiling at the realization of what this means. “I’m Y/N”, I say as I move my hand, signaling him to shake it. He takes it, and that wonderful burning feeling runs up my arm. “I’m Jack”, he replies, his face breaking into a smile, making his eyes close slightly and his nose scrunch up adorably. I feel myself become weak in the knees, and I’m thankful for already being seated on the floor.
Jack is playing with my hand, and when I look down at his tattoo I remember why I approached him in the first place. I’m not usually good at talking to strangers, unless they are young children, but something about knowing this is my soulmate, my person, makes me feel brave. I decide to take a page out of Theresa’s book, and be blunt about my thoughts. “I know we just met, but do you want to talk about why you were sitting alone, looking so sad?” Jack meets my eyes, his smile staying put, though I notice some of his happiness fade away. He looks away for a second, taking a breath before re-counting the events of the night. Apparently his friends has been tauntinghim for years, thinking his first encounter with his soulmate would end with a slap in the face. “It just really got to me. I have three sisters, and I never understood how I could do something that would hurt or offend my soulmate enough to hit me.” “I’m sorry”, I say and start to pull my hand away, feeling at fault for the misleading placement of his mark. “Nonono”, Jack grabs my hand with his and uses the other to tilt my head, forcing me to look him in the eyes again. “This is not your fault, okay?” He must be able to see the doubt in my eyes because he lets go of my hand, using both of his to cup my cheeks, and tilts his face close to mine. “I wouldn’t have had any of this in a different way, as it led me to you.” His voice is filled with sincerity, and his eyes examine every detail on my face, landing on my lips. My heart is beating so loudly I’m certain he can hear it, but all I can think about is how his lips would feel on mine. My breath is caught in my throat as I feel his lips lightly touching mine, all the distance between us vanishing. We are pulled towards each other, and with every touch of his lips and hands I feel my body catching fire, the overwhelming feeling returning, leaving only a single thought in my head; Jack.

It must suck to crave something you literally cannot eat. Luckily for me, I don’t have any common allergies, and my soulmate doesn’t have any weird food habits. Hopefully they’re not allergic to chocolate, seeing as that has been my go-to comfort food for this round of my “time-of-the-month”.
