i'm very big on sabolaw because (to me) they just make sense. a whole lot of sense.

they both have their similarities in terms of backstory and lore: both of them saw the truth about the society they lived in at the age of 10, between the flames of a city, or part of a city, that they called home, and they both have lost an important figure in their life with whom they seeked freedom, and to whom they promised to keep their will alive, now living through their vows.

both sabo and law are in search of freedom. for sabo, it is more of an universal freedom, the freedom of the people before his own, even if it started as something he yearned for himself; for law, it's effectively a personal freedom, a freedom he wants to achieve for his own person, and for cora. but in order to achieve both of their goals and be free, they have to discover the truth about their world, and their lives. the true history.

checkered fate.

interestingly enough, in the manga sabo and law are described to both have a checkered fate; the five elders use this adjective to describe sabo's destiny, because he's surrounded by people with the moniker D, and law uses it to describe his own fate, when he decides he wants to seek out the meaning behind his name, and so discover the truth about the will of the D.

now, this is why i think sabo and law will end up working together, sooner or later. i know that law becoming an ally of the revolutionary army and/or linking up with sabo is a very popular theory and i'm so, SO glad it is! because it really makes sense, doesn't it?

sabo is destined to be involved with people with the initial D in their name, and was just now trusted with the task to deliver vivi and luffy the message that vivi is a D just like luffy is, making him even more involved than he already was with the clan and its descendants. on the other side, we have law, whose newly found objective is to find the truth behind his existence, thus uncovering the "true history", which will inevitably bring him closer to other "D"s and to those who always get mixed up with them.

if we add these bits of info to the whole imu situation...

imu is, most certainly, an immortal being, who became immortal thanks to the ability of the ope-ope no mi. ivankov literally SHOWS the fruit to sabo in chapter 1086!

and i mean, i doubt sabo still doesn't know who law is. he was in dressrosa, after all (also im so so so convinced sabo and law met sometime during the timeskip bc law saved luffy's life and iva was right there and how could sabo not know that was law who saved his little brother's life and how could he not go and thank law for what he did i mean- c'mon-) and he most likely knew about the alliance with luffy and everything else. so he should know that law is the wielder of the ope-ope no mi, and it would be obvious for him to seek law out in order to know more about the fruit's ability and find a counterattack to imu's (and, probably, the five elders') immortality. it would be so disappointing if after all these little hints they ended up never meeting. like, at all.

finally, sabo and law's dynamic would be soooo interesting!! sabo is similar to luffy in some ways, but he's also... completely different. i think law wouldn't lose his mind working with sabo, because yes, sabo is irresponsible and impulsive and a bit of a jerk- but he follows the plan, he's strategic, he's stealthy and logical, and he puts the success of the mission above everything else (that isn't luffy, of course). law can work splendidly with that. i also think they would have a very entertaining back-and-forth, both of them being as witty and blunt as they are. they would be equals, and have a very well balanced relationship. sabo is cheerful and kind, fiery and elegant, which is a good contrast to law's cold, serious demeanour, and heartless façade (because law cares just as much as sabo, he wants to help people just as much as him; he is a doctor, after all). also their devil fruits would work so well, so good together, it would be so cool- oda i'm begging you, please, let them be partners, please-

one piece gakuen and stampede showed us a bit of how their possible dynamic could work, and i pray day and night that we can have something like that in the main manga, too. i need it.

tl;dr: sabolaw is a very good pairing with a lot of potential that i hope will be explored in the story sometime in the future. please do consider them!!!

What are Loly and Menoly gonna be like? In the anime&manga they didn't seem to do much besides beating Orihime up and then getting beaten in turn.

Well, until last week I did not know they had canonical names, and I cannot reliably spell "melony" so in the fic they've been renamed Cici (the black haired one with pigtails) and Vivi (the blonde with the pixie cut) , which is much cuter and fits with Aizen's weird double letter thing.

In the fic, they're aware that working for Ulquiorra is UGH, like- so lame. I mean he's kinda cute in a wet kitten sorta way but then he opens his mouth and says the dumbest shit you've ever heard in you life and you also live with Grimmjow so that's a low bar but there he goes, whining about emotions again. Like- we have, like? Prozac? Gin specifically brought you prozac from the human world boss. For you. Specifically. Complaining about being sad and then refusing to do anything about it is like, turbo-lame, you know?

(I may have also given them valley girl accents.)

But anyway, Hime-chan is like, SO COOL. She smuggled like, a ton of stuff in from the human world without Aizen noticing! ...And like half her closet but it was like? Subterfuge? Aizen got sooooo distracted by her wearing like twenty layers of clothes it totally never occurred to him that she might have stuff in the pockets so she brought all kinds of like, candy and nail polish- look how sparkly it is!! Okay, she did also bring her homework and she's kind of a dork but like? That's part of like? The charm? She's so earnest it's kinda sweet and you feel bad, you know?

Anyway, she's totes generous too! Like once she worked out that she wasn't gonna freeze to death, she said that if there was anything we liked we could like, totally have it? And she's sooo smart about like, color-matching- I'm a winter, but Vivi is totally an autumn, and there's a trick to picking out the right pinks and OH-EM-GEE! She totally knows how to tailor clothes too because uh- she's a little overburdened in the chesticular department, you know? Yeah, you know- Anyway, that's where this wicked cool outfit came from!

So like anyway, the thing I came down here for is that Hime-chan is also like, SUPER-GREAT at cooking which is really awesome because the only other person here who knows how to cook is Mr. Tousen and as you know the culinary situation is DIRE- Vivi says that yesterday, she saw Gin just like. Unhinge his jaw and swallow a raw chicken whole. He. Didn't. Even. Take. The. Feathers. Off. And worse? Last week I saw Aizen eating slices of white bread with nothing but mayonnaise.

They weren't even toasted.

So like, understandably, Mr. Tousen is like, MEGA-DEPRESSED and stopped eating which is super-sad so Hime-chan is gonna throw like, a kitchen party to see if we can get him to eat and then she was like- "we should totally invite the other girls!" Because I guess that's what humans are like, but she's really sweet and and she's so smart and she's gonna make like- what did she call them? Oh yeah! Guava-and-bleu cheese macarons! I don't know what they actually like, are? But it'll be good! C'mon it's gonna be cool and fun and there's gonna be a guava please say you'll come?

Deer plushie

Vivi was in the living room, watching One Piece peacefully with Yves when she saw an advertisement for a deer plushie, Vivi instantly paused the ad she then rushed over to the TV and hugged the TV. “Mama, wook! Cute deer.” Vivi was now pointing at the toy on the screen to emphasize her point. Yves chuckles softly at Vivi’s enthusiasm.

“Yeah I see it, the deer looks really cute.” Yves agrees with Vivi. “Pweeease can I get it, mama?” Vivi looked between the TV and Yves, it was obvious that she clearly wanted the deer plushie. “I don't even know where to get it, Bi-Way.” Yves says in the kindest way possible so she didn't hurt Vivi's feelings.

However, Vivi wasn't affected by it at all, in fact she just moved out of the way and pointed to the bottom of the screen which showed the stores that the plushie stayed at. “Tada! We can go hewe, mama.” Vivi smiles widely because she knew where the store was and it was thankfully near them.

“Now I can't argue with that.” Yves admits because she couldn't think of an excuse since they didn't have anything to do on their schedules and the store wasn't far away from the dorm. Vivi gasps loudly in happiness as she knew what was going to happen. “Awe we goin’ to the shop, mama?” Vivi asks as she shuffles back over to Yves.

“Yeah we can go to the store, Bi-Way.” Yves ruffles Vivi's hair, which makes the regressed girl laugh lightly before she sorts out her hair so it looks normal again. Vivi then ran over to where her shoes were kept. “C'mon be fast, mama!” Vivi yelled from across the room, Yves stood up and she jogged over to where Vivi was standing.

Yves helps Vivi put on her shoes before she puts on her own. “Are you ready to go out, buddy?” Yves questions Vivi, who immediately nodded her head. “Let's goooooo!” Vivi pulls Yves out of the door, therefore starting their adventure to the store for the deer plushie.

When they were at the store, Vivi was in the shopping cart giving directions to Yves on where the toy aisle was. Yves moves at a quick yet sensible pace. After 10 minutes of non stop searching, Vivi spotted the deer plushie. “Mama, it's hewe!” Vivi tries to move the cart herself so she could reach the toy quicker. “I can see it, buddy.” Yves grins and she pushes the shopping cart faster.

Vivi cheers when she grabs the deer toy. “It wooks so cute, mama!” Vivi hugs the plushie close to her chest to protect it from anyone who wanted to steal it. Yves pays for Vivi's new plushie and they leave the store. “Do you want to go to the park, Bi-Way?” Yves holds Vivi's hand as they walk away from the store. Vivi thinks about the options that she has, but tiredness beats the idea of going to the park.

“I'm tiwed, mama.” Vivi confesses and she yawns, Vivi then continues her sentence. “Pwease pick me up, mama.” Vivi reaches her arms out to Yves. Yves nods her head and she carries Vivi all the way back to the dorm. Vivi keeps the plushie in her hands and at some point Vivi ends up falling asleep in Yves’ arms.

It didn't take long for Yves to reach the dorm, since Vivi was already asleep it wasn't difficult to get Vivi ready for her nap. So with that, Yves slowly placed Vivi down on her bed and she tucks her in she even made sure that Vivi's deer was 100% next to her, Yves then placed a kiss on the little's forehead. “Sweet dreams, buddy.” Yves whispers before she leaves the room quietly, in order to not wake Vivi up from her afternoon nap.

That's so funny. I had this same number for Vivi and Caj the last time. And that one was heavy so I'm gonna do something a little lighter. @chordsykat this one's for you.

Five chocolate martinis in and Caj could not stop rambling. She wasn't nearly at a point she'd consider herself drunk, but she was definitely loose enough to let her thoughts flow. Vivi, ever the patient listener, sat with her drink and chewed on the straw.

"And it's just been soooo weird," Caj prattled, "I try an' talk to her an' she brush me off or change the subject. This 'as been going on for at least two weeks. I don't knows what's happening or what I dids wrong or what I can do or..."

"Okay, first," Vivi interjected, "why don't you try a breath of air or a drink of water.

"Air and water are for the weak!"

"Oh my god, don't be so dramatic. You're giving Skwisgaar a run for his money."

Caj pouted and took a drink of ice water Vivi presented, but it did not take care of her pout.

"Awww, c'mon, don't give me that look. Next, you two have been rather busy lately. Maybe she's still in the middle of her project," she suggested. Vivi had to keep her mouth and mind in check. She would not be the one to ruin Nita's surprise date night extravaganza for their six month anniversary. That information was given to her in confidence. And she knew Caj needed the lovely surprise, especially when she was so hard to trick. Vivi had to keep up the charade.

"Gyuuuuuhhhhhh," Caj groaned and put her face down on the counter, "I might as well call a divorce attorney now."

"No you won't. Nita loves you and you love Nita. Just...give it a little more time." Caj moved her head to Vivi's shoulder. Her breath reeked of vanilla vodka, but it did not stop Vivi from comforting her. It was going to be worth it. Just needed to push through the pain and discomfort.

You know, many people want Dragon to show up at Egghead, but if anyone from RA is going there, it's most likely is going to be Sabo – he needs to tell Luffy king Cobra's message anyway. So it's quite logical to kill two birds with one stone, Sabo checks on Vegapunk, ensures he's safe, and, while he's in the second part of the New World, makes a detour to go see Luffy.

Although it would be so cool if it was Dragon... He has the ability to fast travel after all... And Kuma is his dear friend and one of the founding trio....... *pokes Dragon with a stick* c'mon do something..........

yeah I'm fully betting on Sabo showing up, and perhaps Vivi too. Sabo NEEDS to meet up with Luffy, and honestly so does Vivi so the strawhats can rest their minds and know Vivi's okay LMAO. Especially considering they wanted to go and help Vivi!

there are so many people asking me my opinions i can't believe y'all actually care about what i have to say ilysm <33

nami/robin: i love them and i wish they had more scenes together in canon :(( i love that they share a room and their beds are literally next to each other. i'm sure that they cuddle when they sleep. no doubt about it. robin reads out loud while nami does her nightly routine with makeup and stuff and then they talk for a bit before falling asleep. i love that they're the only girls in the crew but their role isn't just that. they both keep the guys in place but robin has that silly, satiric dark side that scares nami sometimes, and nami has that impulsive, thief side that robin loves too. and kjsdcjksdnjkasd they make me ill. they have girl nights. they go shopping. they talk shit about people together. they eat sanji's food together. nami talks about how much she misses her girlfriend (vivi, i miss you too. come back) and robin comforts her but instantly nami complains about her "not getting it" because she has her husband on the damn ship!!!!! then nami goes and hugs robin back again. i think they're the smartest and brightest girls ever and they deserve all the love. neither of them has ever had real friends and now that they have the chance to live freely, they finally can hang out together. robin is older and tbh i think she sees nami as this cute, young, brilliant girl with so so much potential. and nami sees robin as, like, this older, mature woman that's also her bestie and that's awesome!!! a lot of people ship them romantically but i personally see them as besties or sisters ngl. i think robin is still getting used to having friends like a normal person and nami teaching her how to enjoy life is so,,, so beautiful,,, they also have their own shenanigans and i need them to have wayyy more scenes together c'mon!!!

nami/zoro: i am so not shutting up about them i apologize- i love them. i am obsessed with them. we need to talk more and more about them. "they're overrated" they should be. they deserve it. i fucking love everything about these two. so, so much... the thing that makes me like them it's probably the fact that they're part of the romance dawn trio, and i'm very nostalgic about those three. they're all important to luffy, of course, all of his nakama are. but... there's just something about zoro and nami being the first ones that makes me insane. they're the ones that had to deal with luffy together when they first met, and ever since, they've just been sooo chaotic. i'm happy opla gave them scenes together (uhhh not so much the fact that people see them romantically. it's obvious they wanted to make them romantic. please don't, netflix, i'm watching you) because they mean so much to me! they have this lesbian/gay solidarity and hostility (yes, at the same time) that i LOVE. i'm obsessed with zoro being all edgy-wannabe (he's just quiet lmfao his dramatic gay ass wanting to be a dark swordsman is so funny) and nami like "??? shut up you're just dumb". the fact that they argue and zoro complains about her manipulative behavior but still always helps her and saves her every time,,, that's so,,, i love them. i know we all say zoro is luffy's guard dog, but that's not true. zoro is luffy's cat and nami's guard dog. he stays behind nami protectively with a dark stare and nobody dares to approach her bc they know they'll die if they try to hurt his navigator. he'd never admit it out loud, tho, but he cares for her an insane amount. and she loves him too. thinking about them cuddling when it's too cold and zoro's just the perfect pillow!! zoro braiding nami's hair!!! nami helping him clean his swords!! they look after the other all the time,, and they are the ones that know luffy the best, of course they're going to be the first ones to talk things out together if something's wrong with him. also, my zolu shipper heart needs to say that nami would be the first one to find out about them. in every universe. i love them.

I feel like Piri would be the type of person who falls in love but doesn't realize he's in love, meanwhile everyone else (love interest included) knows he is. So it's like a backwards situation where everyone is trying to get him to realize that the love he's feeling isn't platonic or familial it's romantic!

And love interest (*cough*Vivi*cough*) is just furstrated and tired like, "c'mon! we should be holding hands by now!" but at the same time is all "I can't be mad at you, not with the way you look at me"

oh my god i love this!! vivi would be way too stubborn to admit her feelings first so she would definitely wait endlessly for him to confess while all the other asean nations have to watch them both be extremely dense. i absolutely adore the idea of piri teasing and playfully flirting with vivi but being completely oblivious to why he does it so often with her and why he wants to be around her so much. they’re both idiots in love
