tell me ab something you’re writing rn!!!!
so i just started working on a wip that has been discarded for a while and i'm very excited so i'll show you the characters <3
elias digby, an aspiring engineer (it's complicated)
andrew spencer, an airship pilot (he just got fired because he found out something he shouldn't)
nora atkins, an heiress and skilled mathematician, and andrew's best friend
adrien bennet, the owner of merlin motors, a car company
other than them, there's sir hugh fitzgerald, a powerful airship magnate, isambard bannister, a cult leader and vera bell, a fortune teller.
the story is set in an alternate 1920s london, where there are a lot more airships mostly because of how powerful fitzgerald air is, and as a result the airplane has made less progress.
against this backdrop fitzgerald (who is secretly obsessed with immortality) and isambard's ancient cult compete to awake the primordial beings lying dormant beneath a mysterious monolith in the centre of westminster (where big ben is in our world). elias, andrew, nora and adrien try to stop them and also end up inventing the modern airplane. good for them <3

Yves Saint Laurent vuole creare valore al suo marchio per il metaverso. YSL sta lanciando una campagna di marketing utilizzando gli NFT e per questo l’azienda sta depositando domande di trademark relative all’utilizzo di Non-Fungible Token per beni virtuali.
La celebre azienda di beni di lusso francese, Yves Saint Laurent Parfums SA ha depositato nuove domande di trademark relative all’utilizzo di NFT per i beni virtuali, confermando così il suo debutto nel metaverso.
Si tratta di una vera e propria mossa di NFT marketing, volta a creare valore al proprio brand, cogliendo le opportunità che la tecnologia blockchain sta offrendo.
E infatti, le domande sono state depositate il 12 gennaio e indicano che Yves Saint Laurent vuole offrire file multimediali autenticati da un NFT e prodotti virtuali scaricabili e registrati da utilizzare nel metaverso.
Nello specifico, ecco i primi punti della domanda di trademark:
“Prodotti virtuali scaricabili e registrati, vale a dire programmi per computer che presentano prodotti di profumeria, articoli da toeletta, cosmetici, trucchi, preparati per la cura della pelle, preparati per la cura del corpo e del viso, preparati per la cura dei colori dei capelli da utilizzare nel Metaverse e in altri ambienti virtuali online.
File multimediali scaricabili contenenti opere d’arte, testi, audio e video relativi a prodotti di profumeria, articoli da toeletta, cosmetici, make-up, preparati per la cura della pelle, preparati per la cura del corpo e del viso, preparati per la cura dei capelli e preparati per il colore dei capelli, autenticati da un token non fungibile.”
NFT e gli obiettivi di marketing di Yves Saint Laurent
Altri punti della domanda di trademark includono la vendita diretta attraverso negozi al dettaglio basati sul metaverso che presentano i prodotti di Yves Saint Laurent.
In pratica, la celebre azienda francese di lusso si sta sempre più sbilanciando nell’abbracciare NFT e Metaverso, intenzionata a investire direttamente in questi progetti.
Questa decisione di fare domanda di trademark, deriva probabilmente dai successi dei progetti NFT del passato.
L’anno scorso, infatti, la Yves Saint Laurent Beauté aveva già iniziato il suo viaggio Web3 con i Non-Fungible Token, col lancio di sei mesi dopo del suo primo drop di 10.000 NFT gratuiti che hanno dato accesso a chi li possiede all’ecosistema Web3 del marchio.
Questi utenti erano i visitatori di Vivatech e i follower degli account Instagram e Twitter di @YSLBeauty, mentre i 10.000 NFT denominati Golden Block, sono stati mintati sulla blockchain di Polygon, ed erano disponibili sull’app di YSL Beauty Wallet.
Dal beauty al settore GDO: i nuovi progetti Non-Fungible Token
Di recente, anche un celebre brand del settore GDO, ha lanciato il suo nuovo progetto con Non-Fungible Token, e cioè Bennet NFT Club.
Si tratta di un progetto di loyalty realizzato interamente in Italia da Smiling, Innovation Company di Milano, specializzata in blockchain per il marketing.
In pratica, Bennet NFT Club è una piattaforma di loyalty dedicata ai clienti appassionati di tech di qualunque età, con un’attenzione particolare ai millennial e ai clienti del futuro. Basta che gli utenti si iscrivono sulla piattaforma e collegano il proprio wallet (MetaMask o altri) per poter iniziare ad accedere alle collezioni NFT.
E infatti, all’utente vengono proposte tre collezioni di Non-Fungible Token per un totale di 2.700 oggetti digitali differenti offerti. Ogni collezione Bennet ha la sua fascia di costo e il pacchetto di vantaggi relativo.
Tutte le collezioni, poi, offrono la possibilità di partecipare ad un concorso che come premio in palio offre sei NFT quotati, mintati sulla blockchain da primari brand come Gucci, Nike, Adidas e The Sandbox.

hmm i really haven't been learning much lately because i've been really hyperfixated on video games hehe. but i'd really love to learn some kind of craft. i've tried a little embroidery but i think i'd like to learn about pottery! i think it would be a fun hobby and really interesting to learn about different styles and methods!
sage ⇢ what ‘medium’ of art (poetry, music, fiction, paintings, statues etc.) is the most touching to you? why do you think that is?
this is so tricky bc i love a lot of art but i think music? i'm basically always listening to music and there is so much music that deeply affects me in so many different ways. i think one of the best feelings ever is just listening to music all alone and feeling like all the songs you love were made just for you because they're so perfect to you. although i think paintings are a close second, i could spend hours in a gallery.
aloe vera ⇢ what’s something (mundane) you really want to experience in life?
this probably sounds corny but i really just want to experience a domestic love. being able to feel safe and happy and completely myself around someone. being able to cook and bake and clean and do stuff we enjoy or just sit quietly together and enjoy life peacefully in a little home

Yes Vera we love her
Vera annoys me because her crimes are stacking up but she acts so high and mighty while she really isn't a good person. I think Will is like this too, but he does actually have genuine guilt over burying Ferguson. But like he had an affair with Marie and now he's framing Miller with Allie which I think is quite ironic. She's becoming somewhat like Ferguson. I mean obviously not as bad but they both think what they're doing is in the right. I suppose Allies breakdown made her realize she went too far, she did seem genuinely remorseful, but the fact they did that to Allie in the first place was fucked. They manipulated her and exploited her and I hate them for it.
My grandparents are Vera stans too smh.
