Feed humanity, not global warming.
Veganism is the only healthy and sustainable solution for world hunger. Yet we keep paying farmers to continue the extortion of animals for their flesh to result a large quantity of nutritional food into a small amount of wasteful steak.
Taste is no longer an argument, as humans have already achieved the taste of meat through plantbased alternatives.
If you’re truly concerned for human rights, world hunger and want to contribute to the solution instead of adding to the problem subconsciously.. go choose veganism today.

Just because you hunt to fill your freezer, that doesn't mean you're sustainable or ethically justified to kill that animal for food. There are only a few communities left in the world that actually perform sustainable hunting for their people. I am almost certain that 99.9% of you who defend your right to buy hundreds of dollars in hunting gear to support a hobby don't need to actually do it. You were taught to do it, want to do it, and enjoy the results. Please be more honest about what you're doing. If you're going to eat meat despite the ethical weight behind it, do that without trying to escape it with weak moral justifications.
Contrary to what some of you like to believe about vegans, we aren't out here judging every person we run into for eating animals. Personally, I am only judging people for trying to justify it. Just stop that shit. I don't need your justification. I already understand why you aren't vegan. Arguing against veganism is what makes you morally wrong. Capitalism forces us into a corner. It's up to us to weigh which ethical decisions we can enforce within our own moral frame.
Do what you can and stop advocating against people trying to give you more options just because you are struggling with the guilt.

Sometimes i see takes/opinions/ideologies whatever that are so riduculous that i default to ignoring them because i really feel like 1. they only persist because of continual attention and 2. A lot of them are like an anomaly to me. Like if you have a significant amount of people discussing a thing you seem to inevitably get some weird little ideas pocket developing that is so detatched from that wider web of discussing that it makes me think the people behind it would come to an equally wack conclusion regardless of topic and the topic they have decided to make their home in is just coincidence
Its not conspiracy thinking but theres a lot of weird pockets that are running on some kind of equally nonsensical wavelength, just packaged differently
And it makes me think some people are just trying to fulfill a craving to be the monkey on a typewriter that stumbles onto the answer to it all.

Even as leather is replaced by 'vegan leather' (polyurethane, a type of plastic) Americans are still eating lots of beef — which means the hides from those slaughtered cattle have nowhere to go. In 2020, a record 5 million hides went to landfills.
