Tumblr media Tumblr media
Iso smirked as he admired two of the photobooth’s polaroids in his hand.
One for him to show off to his colleagues, and one for his eyes only.
Tumblr media
The sensation was disorienting, as if reality itself had been folded and twisted, before finally snapping back into place. You and Iso found yourselves standing in a dimly lit storage room, the air heavy with the scent of dust and forgotten memories.
Your head spun with the abrupt transition, trying to make sense of the new surroundings. Iso’s concerned voice broke through the haze, his eyes scanning you for any signs of injury from the intense battle that had preceded your arrival.
“Y/N, you okay?” Iso’s tone was filled with genuine worry as he reached out to steady you, his touch grounding you in the unfamiliar space.
“Yeah, ‘s just a scratch…” you reassured him, mustering a weak smile to alleviate his concern.
“Alright, good,” Iso gave you a soft smile, “Let’s keep moving, ‘kay? We don’t want to linger here too long.” He suggested, his voice echoing in the stillness of the room.
With cautious steps, you pushed open the creaking door, expecting to find yourselves in the midst of chaos or an unknown landscape. Instead, what greeted you was beyond comprehension.
The storage room opened into a sprawling emporium, shelves lined with an array of peculiar trinkets. But what truly caught your attention was the sight of familiar faces plastered across the merchandise that adorned the walls. Looks like it’s a… Valorant merchandise store?
“Whoa… they’ve got merchandise… of us!” you exclaimed, disbelief colouring your voice as you took in the sight of life-sized cutouts and figurines bearing your likeness. More like, your omega counterpart’s likeness.
Iso followed your gaze, a bemused expression crossing his features as he processed the surreal scene before him. “Technically, it’s not us, bǎo bèi…”
You hurried towards the display, your eyes alight with excitement as you examined all the merch, which made a mischievous thought cross your mind.
“Look, Yuyu!” you called out, pointing to a pair of figurines that seemed to mirror the two of you. “It’s us! They even put us together, like a set!”
Iso couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight, the absurdity of the situation not lost on him. A nagging question lingered in his mind— Did the existence of these figurines imply a deeper connection between the two of you in this alternate reality?
And, does that mean the both of you fuck in this universe too?
“I’m gonna take these home,” you said, a playful glint in your eye.
“Isn’t that stealing? Even my grandma said—” Iso’s protest was met with a dismissive wave from you. “They literally stole the radianites from our earth. This won’t hurt their pockets.”
Iso conceded, you’re right, they stole from us first. Then, a peculiar contraption caught Iso’s eye.
“Hey, would you look at that,” he remarked, gesturing towards a vintage photo booth tucked away in the corner of the room.
Intrigued, you joined him, curiosity piqued by the big box-looking machine. Iso’s gaze lingered on the faded advertisement featuring your Omega counterparts, with adorable animal filters on their faces.
“I wanna try it.” you said, excitement gleaming in your eyes.
“Go ahead—” he encouraged, but before he could react, you seized his hand and pulled him into the photobooth with you.
Tumblr media
You excitedly played with the features on the screen, while Iso stood beside you, watching with adoration in his eyes.
“Yuyu, you need to lean down abit, you’re too tall!”
He chuckled, adjusting his position to fit in the frame.
Sitting beside you, Iso burst into laughter when the bunny filter appeared on his face which made his eyes look round with a fuzzy nose and bunny ears.
“Look at you! So adorable ~” you teased, unable to control your laughter.
He sighed, playing along with your silly antics. Whatever you say, princess.
As the camera snapped away, capturing silly moments frozen in time, you and Iso shared playful banter, making funny faces and striking ridiculous poses. Laughter filled the booth as you lost yourselves in the moment, forgetting the chaos of the world outside.
After the last picture was taken, you eagerly retrieved the photo prints from the machine, anticipation bubbling in your chest.
You giggled at the sight of grumpy Iso in one of the photos, adorned with cat ears and bright pink cheeks.
“Is that too funny for you, hm?” Iso teased, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
Before you could respond, he pulled you into a tight embrace, pinning you against the wall of the booth.
“Calm down, Yuyu!” you giggled, feeling his soft kisses trailing down on your exposed neck.
You gasped as Iso’s hand moved lower, moving your panties to the side, his index and middle fingers searching for your sweet spots.
“What if someone hears us—” you started, but Iso quickly cut you off with a reassuring whisper.
“The store’s closed, baby,” he murmured, pressing you closer to him. “No one’s gonna know.”
“So wet for me…” Iso smirked, his thumb sneakily rubbing your clit. You tried your best to hold out your moan but you couldn’t handle the pleasure, you threw your head against the wall of the limited space both of you were squeezed into.
You whimpered in response, unable to form coherent words as pleasure washed over you in waves.
“Y/N—” his voice filled with longing, his desire, evident in every touch and every kisses. “‘Need you so bad, bǎo bèi…”
Tumblr media
Iso pumped his cock a few times before inserting his tip along your wet folds. He nuzzled his face on the crook of your neck, slowly sinking his teeth into your skin as he tried his best to muffle his moans.
“Oh, so good for me…”
“Yuyu, I—”
Iso leaned back, making eye contact with you. “Look at me, bǎo bèi,” he said, his left hand reaching for your right cheek. “Be a good girl for me, yeah?”
You nodded, while holding onto his neck as you let yourself succumb in pleasure.
Iso couldn’t remember the last time he felt this horny. The urge to fuck you dumb right there and then, and he thought he’s going insane. Well, he’s about to.
He began to thrust into you, gradually picking up to a rough and unforgiving pace he knows you usually like.
With your legs wrapped around his waist pulling him closer, he’s impossibly deep inside your fluttering walls. His big hands palming your ass, almost covering them completely while his grip doesn’t falter, strong arms never getting tired.
Wet slapping sound with each thrust filled the room, your fluttering lips hugging each inch of his dick.
“You’re taking me so good, bǎo bèi… Fuck.” He breathed like it’s a revelation beneath your ear.
You let out soft whimpers and moans, thrashing under him as he sped up his pace.
“Y-yuyu, m’ gonna cum…”
You say through watery eyes, your throat dry from the gasping and moaning you’ve elicited as Iso continued to fuck you.
He chuckled, “I know, darling, I can tell.”
Iso knows too well what he could do to you, Iso knows too well when he feels the sweet clench of your walls around his cock.
Before you could mutter another word, the photobooth’s flash went off.
Wait, what?
“Smile for the camera, sweetheart.”
Your attempt to hide your face away from the camera seemed to fail. Iso’s huge hand grabbed your face, keeping you on display in front of the photobooth camera.
His thrusts became rougher and deeper, which made you roll your eyes.
“Only for my eyes only, only for me…”
You didn’t hear his remarks, too lost in the way his tip touched your cervix to care.

One Hazy Winter [Iso x F! Reader] [1]
[ Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3 / Part 4 / Part 5 ]
Genre: Angst, fluff ‎
TW: Depression and implied suicidal thoughts (I swear it’s not all sad haha) ‎ ‎
Words: 4k ‎
Synopsis: One winter before his disappearance, you told your boyfriend Yu about a question you’ve had for so long; one even he could hardly respond to. It took many more hopeless winters for you to finally have your answer. ‎ ‎
NOTES: 'Tis the season! Ha, I rushed to get this out before Christmas was over. Christmas is still going, right? Happy holidays!! ‎  Anyway, this story is HEAVILY reliant on flashbacks and the past in general, so keep that in mind. Have a good read! ‎ ‎
Winter, one year ago.
 ‎
If there was one thing you loathed with every inch of your being, it would be the winter season. It was a season that was associated with only despair and heavily encouraged death. Both physically and mentally. The death of plants, the death of animals, the death of people, just death in general.
And you hated it. You hated the overwhelming feeling of melancholy that would loom over you whenever snow would fall.
Your arms rested on the ice cold metal railing that overlooked a mystifying lake, one that had gotten frozen over the past week. The thick sleeves of your hoodie blocked the freezing temperatures like dutiful guards surrounding a castle. This comfort, however, felt like a miniscule droplet in the ocean of despondency you felt.
A tired sigh escaped you. And like a furious dragon, a vapour of pure white billowed from your lips.
 ‎
“Disgusting.”
 ‎
You muttered under your breath whilst you looked at the ice. In the distance, you heard something crack, and it took you only a few seconds to spot where it was on the icy surface of the lake.
 ‎
“Look on the bright side, at least.”
 ‎
Yu, your boyfriend, piped up from your right. He rested on the railing just as you did, with his jacket protecting him. But his upright posture and bright purple eyes conveyed something you didn’t: joy.
 ‎
“Like what?”
 ‎
“Look around you, observe the snow.”
 ‎
He pointed to the blankets of snow that surrounded the forest around the bridge, each snowflake collectively gathered to envelop every tree your eyes laid on. Like a mother huddled with her children on a cold night. To him, the landscape looked like a stunning painting, one meticulously slaved over by an artist who desired perfection over all else.
 ‎
“Isn’t it breathtaking?”
 ‎
Maybe to him. But to you? All you saw were dead trees, shells of the beautiful bearers of fruit and life they once were. That wasn’t to mention the corpses of animals buried under the feet of snow he was so enamoured by.
You rested your head on your arms in silence.
 ‎
“It’s winter.”
 ‎
Two words. Curt, but enough to summarise the maelstrom of thoughts that roamed your mind.
And it’s not like he didn’t know, either. He did, which was why, despite his optimism, he also started dreading this season once you both started dating nearly five winters ago. Yu placed one hand on your shoulder, the wooden planks under him loudly creaking as he stepped closer to you. Then, he wrapped his arm around you and pulled you closer, the warmth from his body counteracting the one from the railings.
 ‎
“I understand.”
 ‎
For a moment, that was all he could say.
 ‎
“But… Y/N, you shouldn’t think about them every single day.”
 ‎
You shut your eyes and took in a deep, slow breath, allowing the cold air to be warmed on the way to your lungs.
As much as he denied it, and as stiff as his face was, Yu was incredibly expressive. Whenever he’d try to conceal how he felt, his body language simply betrayed him at every turn. He meant well, both of you knew that. Especially you. But Yu wasn’t exactly the best when it came to dealing with things like… this.
 ‎
“It’s difficult to get over them, Yu. It feels impossible.”
 ‎
Since Yu’s hands were gloved the whole way here, the slightly cold temperature of it didn’t bother you as much once his fingers intertwined with yours. Add on to the fact your hands were in your pockets, the warmth immediately cooled him down as he began gently outlining the lines on your palm with his thumb.
You lost your parents in one hazy winter. And every one after that would be a depressing reminder of that fact.
 ‎
“Every winter, I ask myself why I should keep going.”
 ‎
He paused.
 ‎
“What’s waiting for us at the end? Some silly award for putting up with this?”
 ‎
“Don’t say that. There’s more to life than baseless questions like that.”
 ‎
The white tint of the snow was bright. So bright, it began piercing your eyes, and you were forced to close them for a hint of relief.
  ‎
“What do you think?”
 ‎
You flipped the question on him, your words cutting through his benevolence like acid through a rotting cadaver.
Silence settled for a moment. Between it and the blankets of snow that surrounded you, you could hear Yu’s very pulse echo with each passing second. That, and how his lips parted. But for a moment, no words left his mouth, and he stayed quiet.
 ‎
“I… I don’t know.” He turned away. “I’m sorry. I don’t think about things like this.”
 ‎
It figures, you thought. Nevertheless, he began outlining the lines on your palm all over again, and the sound of the shuffling in your pocket as he did this started to stick out to you.
A few rapid clicks caught your attention. And once you lifted your head, you noticed a peculiar sight.
A bird had landed on the lake’s icy surface. Though it was a few dozen feet away from you, somehow, It felt as if all the sound waves were channelled in one direction just to reach you, and you could see it with clarity that would rival a telescope. With each step, you heard a loud click. And each time it pecked at the ice under it, you heard a little pick that accompanied it.
You wanted to ask why there was a bird here. Around this time, they’d usually disappear and leave the grey sky more dreary and lifeless than it ever could be. So… why?
You diligently watched it stretch its stunning wings, shades of blue reflecting off of the sunlight and complementing each other. Somehow, it spawned various new shades on its wings. Like ballet dancers, the colours played off each other's movements gracefully.
You lifted a hand and pointed at the bird.
 ‎
“It looks just like you.”
 ‎
Yu stopped to get a glance at what you were looking at. Then, he chuckled.
 ‎
“You think every bird looks like me, Y/N.”
 ‎
“I...”
 ‎
Your words were interrupted once the bird’s feathers reached outwards. For a moment, it puffed and formed a fluffy ball of white, blue and black, before it rapidly shook its head and relaxed all over again.
 ‎
“There. Did you see that?”
 ‎
“See what?”
 ‎
“It puffed up.” You met his gaze. “It looked just like you whenever you’d wake up.”
 ‎
Even on the hottest days of summer, Yu would have at least three blankets wrapped around him whilst he slept. That wasn’t to mention how messy his hair would be whenever you had the pleasure of catching him in this way. Yu grinned, pulling you closer as you both watched the bird for a few seconds.
A few short-lived seconds, until it flew away and disappeared into the clouds, cutting the enjoyable moment short.
But before melancholy would dare set in once more, Yu immediately turned to meet your gaze, his purple eyes glimmering under the bright winter sky. Just like the bird’s wings, the colours mixed with each other in a captivating manner.
 ‎
“How about we go home and watch a movie? I’ll even make you hot chocolate. What do you say?”
 ‎
“Movie?”
 ‎
A moment of silence settled.
But just as Yu thought he failed in his endeavour to cheer you up, all of his doubts evaporate once he saw a smile form. The sensation of such a move, though weak, still felt foreign to your face.
 ‎
“Can we take the movie out of the equation?”
 ‎
 ‎
“Definitely.”
‎
Before another word could be uttered, he suddenly pulled you much closer, trapping you in a warm embrace. And you couldn’t help but grin at such an unexpected yet sweet move.
‎
“Yu, we’re in public.”
‎
“You don’t know how much I missed your smile, Y/N.”
‎
“Be reasonable. It couldn’t have been that long.”
‎
You said, your words muffled as he had your face pressed up against the inside of his jacket. Your arms were wrapped around him to allow the heat to pass on over to you.
‎
“It has.” He muttered. “Longer than you think.”
‎
The pleasant fragrance of lemons entered your nostrils. Familiar, especially since it was the only type of musk Yu ever sought after. Other than yours, of course.
‎
Winter, present day.
‎
You hadn’t seen or spoken to Yu once the week after that conversation. He didn’t answer his phone, and, like you, none of his acquaintances knew where he went. Even with the police alerted, he was still legally considered missing.
On your way to work that dreadful morning, you’ve had your eyes stuck on your phone the whole time you walked down that repetitive path. You were calling Yu for the umpteenth time in hopes that he’d miraculously answer. But just as expected, your call was sent to voicemail again.
He was gone.
And you didn’t shed a tear. Not that you didn’t care, quite the contrary, in fact. You lost a ton of people. He was just another added to the list.
With a deep sigh, you pocketed your phone and looked up at the sky, a group of clouds concealing its previously blue colour thanks to the season. White and pale, just like bones.
‎
Your fingers wrapped around the cold golden handle. And with one swift push accompanied by a cheerful ding of the bell above you, you’d entered the café you worked at. The warmth hit you like a slap in the face once you’d fully entered the café. The boring music inside, and not to mention the decor you were borderline sick of seeing every day.
Your boss, Ying, and another one of your co-workers were chatting behind the counter. But your entrance immediately halted the conversation and shifted their attention towards you.
‎
“There you are! I was getting worried.”
‎
“Hi.”
‎
Ying earned a boring greeting from you. Just like every other day. And just as you turned back to the counter, you were suddenly pulled into a tight hug.
‎
“Y/N, how have you been? Here– would you like me to make you something?”
‎
She pulled away and held your shoulders in hopes of catching a change in your expression this time, but there was naught.
Ying, despite being your boss, had been treating you like her daughter for the longest time. And with Yu’s disappearance, her treatment was laced with worry and an overwhelming desire to tend to your needs. But every time, she’d earn the same response accompanied by the same vacant look on your face.
‎
“I’d like to clock in.”
‎
“Would you like to take the day off instead? Take a moment to catch yourself?”
‎
Though you had no circles under your eyes or any other noticeable blotches, she still noted the subtle gaunt look on your face. Pale, lifeless skin, and that wasn’t to mention the dull heaviness in your pitch black irises. A massive contrast to Yu, whose very presence brought life to any location lucky enough to bear his presence.
You shook your head.
A sigh escaped her and her gaze turned to the ground for a moment. Then, an idea popped up.
‎
“How about some passion fruit juice? We still have some in stock from yesterday.”
‎
Ying said with that kind smile as she looked back up at you. It almost widened to a full-blown grin once your lids slightly lifted at this random offer. Passion fruit was your favourite. And she remembered, even though you mentioned it offhandedly many winters ago.
You still shook your head.
‎
“I’m not too fond of the artificial flavour.” You held her wrists and put her hands down. “Thank you, nonetheless.”
‎
It took you only two seconds to walk away from Ying’s benevolent aura and move behind the counter where the sickening one lay. The very creaks of the floorboards and the ticking of the machines churned your stomach.
‎ ‎
“I’m leaving. You need any help in here?”
‎
Your co-worker exclaimed, earning the same response you gave Ying twice. And with that, he immediately tossed the towel on the counter and walked out, leaving your boss in the awkward position of asking the same question.
‎
“Y/N?”
‎
“I’ll be okay.”
‎
Juxtaposed to the loud slam emitted from the door once your co-worker left, as if to announce his departure, for Ying, it was a gentle woosh of the wind, followed by a click once she’d closed the wooden door. You didn’t even realise she left until you lazily glanced at the exit for a moment, then turned to the task at hand.
‎
You grabbed the towel and began wiping the counters. The hum of the refrigerators around you remained as the only thing that broke the heavy silence that encapsulated the small café.
Everyday was the same routine. Wake up, go to work, go home and wait for sleep. At this point, the only thing amiss today was Ying’s offer to make you passion fruit juice. A delightful offer, but the juice here was artificial sugar. If anyone would know that, it was you.
You jumped once you felt a hand on your shoulder, looking over to see Ying.
‎
“Oh, Ying, I– I assumed you left.”
‎
“No, I merely closed the door.”
‎
Your pupils dilated as you took in her soft features once more. But before you could allow this conversation to blossom, you turned away and continued wiping the counters.
‎
“Y/N, are you okay?”
‎
“What makes you think otherwise?”
‎
“Every day, you look more and more like a zombie. I… I cannot help but worry every second you’re not with me.”
‎
With a loud clunk, you set down one of the cups on the marble counter and stared at the wet towel in your hand, its temperature combining with the one around you to freeze your bare hand. But that didn’t matter to you. There was only one thing that caught your eye; its colour.
Purple.
A deep sigh escaped you, but you didn’t dare lift your chin to look at your boss.
‎
“When are we opening?”
‎
Ying held herself and watched you continue working.
‎
“Please, just speak to me. I fear the day you won’t walk through that door, and I feel as though it’s coming very soon.”
‎
“Enough with the fear mongering. I just don’t want to talk, okay? I don’t even want to look at you.”
‎
She opened her mouth, but the words were lodged in her throat. Clearly, though those words escaped you without second thought, Ying was still taken by surprise.
You needed to act fast.
‎
“Everything reminds me of them, Ying. And you remind me of him now. More than ever.”
‎
“I… I understand. What you’re going through is horrible, nobody deserves to experience anything like this. But, Y/N, please,” she cupped your cheeks in her hands, “I don’t want to lose you, too.”
‎
You were forced to look up at the tall woman to even meet her gaze. And that, you hated. You hated how her features somewhat matched Yu’s. The more you scrutinised her, the more similarities you found. Their nose, lips, their height, and the way their silky black hair framed their face. Hell, even their soft voices matched.
‎
“You haven’t eaten breakfast today, have you?”
‎
Her amiable voice suddenly took on an incredibly stern tone, one alien to someone like her. And to say you were caught off-guard would be a massive understatement.
‎
“Pardon?”
‎
“You’re pale. Your blood pressure is low.”
‎
“Pressure…?”
‎
You watched Ying immediately pull away and rush towards the fridge, a gust of cold air hitting you like a whip. On another note, it was winter. Why the hell was the fridge still on?
‎
“Ah, I meant sugar, Your blood sugar. We need to get you something to drink!”
‎
You eyed the passion fruit juice she took out of the fridge, golden fluid swirling inside in a hypnotising manner. And with a slam of the fridge’s door, its movements grew more rapid and dramatic. Then, you met her gaze with a vacant expression.
‎
“Ying, I’m fine.”
‎
"For the love of God, please accept some help and get your sugar back up. Just this once, at least!"
‎
She desperately held out the juice for you. And, although you were incredibly reluctant, you gave in and grabbed it from her.
‎
“Fine, but if I’m going to drink juice, I might as well make it myself.”
‎
Ying’s eyes bore into yours whilst you twisted the green plastic cap. Then, a particularly contagious smile lifted her pink lips. That statement must’ve evoked something within her.
‎
“Do you still remember how?”
‎
“What? Of course I do–”
‎
“Wonderful! Then I’ll take out everything you need.”
‎
She lit up and trotted over to a nearby counter, her large black ponytail swaying with each step. Ying immediately bent down and took out a few dusty slick grey boxes from inside, but your eyes were only focused on the dust that fell to the ground with every box she took out.
A mess you’d have to mop up.
Nevertheless, you took a sip and immediately grimaced at the unnatural flavour.
‎
“I bought a container of passion fruit yesterday, but I was afraid you’d be offended had I asked you to make some again.”
‎
"Why would I be offended by that?"
‎
With a huff and a loud thud, she slid out the blender’s box onto the ground. Then, she fixed her posture and grabbed it on both sides, ready to lift it.
‎
“I did not wish to pressure you into making this again. I understand your circumstances, however…” she lifted the box and set it on the counter, meeting your gaze with a smile, “your products are very addictive!”
‎
You took another sip in silence and set the drink next to the cash register, before moving to the fridge to take out the container of passion fruit.
‎
“Do you need any help with those?”
‎
You shook your head and took out a spoon and a bowl. It didn’t take long for her to catch on to what you were trying to do, clasping her hands together nervously.
‎
“Are you going to wash and scoop all those seeds? Alone?”
‎
“Are there people outside?”
‎
She glanced at the wooden double doors. If the massive windows on the walls weren’t enough, the doors allowed an even wider view of the sidewalk outside. Thankfully, the snow didn’t obscure much of her vision, either.
‎
“Ah… No, not quite. This morning is as idle as the others.”
‎
“Then I’ll do it.”
‎
She smiled and nodded.
‎
“I admire your patience.”
‎
That was all she said before she turned to unbox the blender. Thankfully, she let the silence in the air settle and allowed you to work alone. At this point, the conversation already grew exhausting enough. You couldn’t be bothered to say another word.
‎
‎
Winter, three years ago.
‎
At first, it started out a chivalrous act.
One day, Yu, your co-worker at the time, randomly offered to escort you to and back from work with a peculiarly red set of cheeks. You said yes. Not that you needed the protection. And quite frankly, looking back, it was clearly a thin veiled attempt for him to get close to you; but you still entertained the offer and walked with him. It quickly became a day to day thing.
First, you’d see him by the gates every morning and head to the café.
Afterwards, once you both went back, you’d part ways at said gate. He’d go to the bus to return to his house, and you’d go up to your apartment. But after you started dating, he started sleeping over. Then, he began spending more time in your cramped home instead of his lavish abode.
Then… Well, to say he simply ‘took over’ would be an understatement.
‎
Once the both of you had arrived at the entrance that would lead to your dwelling, you took off the earbud and handed it back to Yu, promptly pushing the thick door to your apartment open. Back then, whenever you’d enter, the gust of air that enfolded you used to have a… melancholic feel to it.
Now, it was anything but.
‎
“Every day you visit, this place looks less and less like the house I live in.”
‎
You randomly commented, not bothering to glance at him as you spoke. An audible creak echoed through the small area. Then, with a loud flick, the lights switched open and allowed the comfort of familiarity to finally envelope each of you.
‎
“How do you mean?”
‎
“Look around. Look at what you’ve done to my home.”
‎
You haphazardly gestured around you whilst turning on more lights. And it was only after a moment of confused silence did he finally respond to your comment.
‎
“I’m not following.”
‎
You turned around, and both of your eyes bore into each others’. Judging by the blank expression he carried, he truly looked lost. So… you’d show him.
You held his hand and guided him down the entrance hall towards the living room, and pointed at the couch that faced the television mounted on the wall. Just looking at it proved your point, seeing how it was covered with blankets.
‎
“Two blankets,” you then pointed at the armchair on the corner where another one sat, “three,” the other armchair, “four,” the heaters, “and five.”
‎
You turned to face him with crossed arms.
‎
“And the three on my bed.”
‎
By the time you finished pointing everything out, both of you had stopped at the doorway that led to the corridor. He knew by the way you pursed your lips; you definitely weren’t done yet.
You took a deep inhale, finally taking in the air that lingered around you like a lovesick ex.
‎
“It smells like the inside of a lemon, as well.”
‎
Yu smiled politely once you had finalised your sentiment. Sure, your tone was dry, but he wasn’t insulted. In fact, judging by his upright posture, he seemed quite proud of how he unwittingly changed up the place.
‎
“I... hear you. On another note, it's been three years and I still haven’t gotten to the balcony yet.”
You raised an eyebrow. He just couldn’t be subtle even if his life depended on it.
‎
“I’m not giving you the keys to the balcony, Yu.”
‎
“Just a peek?”
‎
You turned away and began taking off the heavy jacket you wore, earning a particularly endearing huff from him. The shadows on the ground let you know he crossed his arms and turned his gaze away to the living room. Probably eyeing the blankets on the couch you pointed out just a few minutes ago.
He muttered something under his breath. But before you could ask him what it was, he immediately moved over to the couch. Huh. Your hypothesis was correct.
‎
Not paying him any mind, you began slipping off your boots and taking off the hair tie that started to give you a headache.
Then, your eyes widened once you heard a distant spray. You immediately turned around.
“Yu, we don’t need anymore–”
‎
The words were lodged in your throat once you realised he wasn’t spraying the room with his lemon mister again. He wasn’t doing that at all, no. Instead, he was misting the potted plant set in the corner of the living room. Holes lay in the edges of its dull leaves. And thanks to the weak sunlight that bled through the windows, you could see that the soil was dangerously dry, as well.
You stepped up solemnly, watching him mist it.
‎
“How long has it been since you last watered this?”
‎
Judging by the curious tone, you knew that he wasn’t mocking you. He just wasn’t as knowledgeable as you were when it came to plants. You nervously clenched your fists and turned your gaze away, eyes landing on the dark vinyl flooring.
‎
“I… must have forgotten about it.”
‎
Of course you did. It was a miracle you even slipped out of bed every morning, let alone take care of something like this.
A gentle pat on your shoulder snapped you out of your maelstrom of thoughts, and you hesitantly looked up to meet his gentle gaze.
“That’s okay. You were busy.” He chuckled. “It’s probably why the smell of lemons is so strong, right?”
‎
You playfully flicked his forehead with a vacant expression, before grabbing the mister from his hands and aiming it at the plant. That’s one incentive for you to take care of the plant, that’s for sure. Oh, but you’d never tell him that.
Nevertheless, you continued misting. And spraying water on it felt so… weird.
But also relieving.

Hey!! hope you’re doing well! anyways, if you could do a val x fem or gn s/o and what their favorite part of or thing about them is? (doesn’t need to be nsfw or anything like that! whatever ur comfortable with!) sry if this doesn’t make any sense🥲
Summary: Their favorite thing about you
Including: Chamber, Yoru, Cypher, Sova, Omen, Phoenix, Gekko, Iso
Notes: I'm doing mostly alr & thanks for requesting<3 Let me know if I understood it correctly!
Tumblr media
Chamber loves how accepting you are. You embrace all versions of him, the flirty Chamber, the serious Chamber, even the insecure Chamber he usually doesn't show to anybody. You don't judge him for his past mistakes. This makes him want to show the same amount of support for you.
Yoru's favorite thing about you is your competitiveness. He tried to tone his competitive streak down when you first met, but ever since you told him you didn't mind, you two compete in every. little. thing. The others think it's too much, but you two couldn't care less because it's fun.
Cypher loves your laugh. He's used to everyone being wary of him and his cameras, but then there's you, laughing heartily at his antics and his humor. It easily has become his favorite sound and it's so satisfying to hear.
Sova's favorite thing about you is your honesty. You always let him know your honest thoughts about everything and never hold back, even if the truth could hurt him. Because of that, he's able to trust you with his life.
Omen loves your hands. Whenever he feels cold and empty, which is all the time, your hands that softly caress his cheek and hold his fingers, bring back the warmth he has once felt. It comforts him and temporarily gives him inner peace.
Phoenix's favorite thing about you is your nose. He's a menace, he likes flicking it whenever he passes you and he thinks it's charming how it scrunches up in response every time. He also loves planting kisses on it.
Gekko loves your creativity and helpfulness. That you're offering to brainstorm with him whenever he has new ideas for strategies on how to use his crew in a battle or even for sketches for a new tattoo, means a lot to him.
Iso's favorite part is your eyes. Regardless of your eye color, he likes how bright your irises shine whenever you speak with him. It's a subtle sign of the affection you feel for him, which he also has for you.

Reminiscence - Omen
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Genre: hurt/comfort + fluff
Pairing: Omen x gn! reader
Word Count: 1.6k
Summary: after Omen returns from Indonesia, you find yourself questioning the nature of your relationship in light of his returning memories
CW: spoilers/allusions to Reckoning!! hurt/comfort, FWB type relationship, mentions of violence? talks of Omen's past, lots of reassurance
ive been playing valorant again and ive been do downbad for Omen its not even funny. this man lives in my head rent free 24/7 365...anyway val simps i noticed you're content starved and i am here to provide
Tumblr media
Your nail cracks when you sink your teeth into your fingertip too hard. You rip your hand away from your mouth, shaking it around in the cold air to soothe the throbbing nail bed as you continue to pace around HQ. Your fingers are replaced by your bottom lip, your teeth desperate to sink into something, anything, to keep you grounded while you wait for the men to return.
It’s a near 10 hour flight from Indonesia back to HQ, and while Brimstone had told you to get some rest, you couldn’t fathom it. An overwhelming feeling that something was wrong had been hanging over your head the entire evening, and no matter what you did, you couldn’t shake it.
Omen is anxious the entire flight back from Jakarta. His heart hammers against his ribcage and the flood of blurry memories is endless. All he can think of is how he’s going to confront Viper, what answers he’s going to beg her for.
When they land back at HQ, it’s the middle of the night. Even after Sova, Iso and Cypher exit the dropship, Omen remains in his seat. Exhaustion radiates through him, shockwaves of pain from the machine he’d been forced in earlier still roll over his body.
You start to worry when only three men return from the hangar. Cypher and Iso are in good spirits, but there’s a sour look clouding Sova’s face. While the others return to their respective rooms, Sasha flops on the couch in front of you, his presence managing to stop your incessant pacing.
He waits until everyone is out of earshot before speaking. “Something happened,” he keeps his voice low, “with Omen.”
“Is he okay?”
“We had a close call, he’s still in one piece.” The archer sighs, “he didn’t speak to us about it, but his memories…he remembers something.”
You flinch. It was selfish, but you’d always feared the day Omen’s memory would return. Dreaded it, even. The man was never clear on the nature of your relationship, never clear on what he felt for you. You’d grant each other comfort when it was needed, and on some nights, much more than that. There was never a definition there, though, never any certainty.
Your feelings for him only grew with time but Omen remained as stoic as always. His lack of commitment left you painfully awaiting the day his memories would come back, when he’d remember he had a wife and kids, or some pretty supermodel girlfriend you could never compete with. You wanted to, but no matter how hard you tried, you couldn’t pull away.
Sova rises to his feet, squeezing your shoulder in reassurance. “You should rest.”
You swallow and nod, waving him off as he retracts into the dark halls. You don’t rest, though. You plant yourself on the couch and continue to wait, your thoughts running laps around your mind. It’s nearly four in the morning before you hear the hangar door open and soft footsteps approach from down the hall.
You clench your hands tightly, nails digging into your palm. You’re not ready for this, you’ll never be ready for this. A part of you is tempted to retreat to your room, but then Omen is rounding the corner and you know it’s too late.
“Y/n?” He looks surprised to see you, “what are you doing awake?”
You force yourself to your feet, walking around the couch to face him. “I was waiting for you,” you say quietly.
Omen isn’t quite sure what to say to that—he’s never sure what to say to you. The love he feels for you is always outweighed by his fear of the past, the fear of himself, and he always finds himself retreating from his feelings.
“It’s late.”
Your heart drops to your stomach. It’s only two words, but it sounds an awful lot like a dismissal. A silent plea for you to go away. It’s two words, but it practically confirms the thoughts that have taunted you all night.
You hang your head and start to drag your feet to your room. You’re tempted to argue and stay put and force him to tell you what happened tonight, but what good would that do?
Omen watches you walk away with a heavy heart. All he craves right now is your comfort, but it’s not fair to you, or to him, or to Viper. Until he can make sense of the things he’s learned, he can’t fathom putting that on you.
You get an hour of restless sleep before you’re woken up by a shout followed by  a door slamming. You jump to your feet, body swaying as you fight the black spots from standing up too quickly. When you finally gather your bearings, you see Omen standing in the corner of your room, eyes locked on you.
“Is something wrong?” You ask, still on alert from the sudden awakening.
The wraith shakes his head, finding his way to your bed as naturally as he would his own. He lets himself fall to the mattress. He hasn’t slept since before Indonesia and his argument with Viper has only tired him out more. You look at him with those soft eyes that slow his racing heart, and Omen knows he’s so gone.
There’s a bitter taste on your tongue from how well he fits into your bed—into your life—but you manage to bite it back. You sink back into your bed next to him, careful to draw your knees into your chest so that you don’t accidentally touch him.
Your feelings from just hours ago still cloud over you, settling over your heart like a thick fog. “Did something happen? I heard a door slam.”
“I spoke to Viper,” he says simply, stretching his arms to fold them behind his head.
“And?”
“I got answers.”
A sigh passes through your lips. Typical Omen, granting you only short answers and curt glimpses into his life. Your eyes begin to tear up, your nose stinging with the impending threat of your emotions. You tilt your head back, desperately trying to keep calm.
“Y/n?”
You clench your jaw, continuing to stare at the ceiling. If you dare open your mouth, you know the floodgates will open.
“Did I—is something wrong?” He ghosts a hand over your hip, not quite touching you but letting you know he’s there.
“I—” Your voice breaks as soon as you try to speak, the tears finally bubbling over and starting to run down your face. You give up on trying to hide it, finally turning to look at him.
“Oh,” he says quietly, finally bringing his hand to grab your waist, the other one wiping your tears and cupping your wet cheek.
“Why don’t you ever share your life with me? I feel like—like you don’t even like me. And now you remember everything and you’re gonna leave and go back to your life and—”
Omen cuts you off with a dry laugh. The sound is enough to shock you out of your meltdown, your breathing turning even without you even realizing. You stare at him curiously. What about this is funny?
When he speaks, his voice carries all the kindness in the world. “Do you really think I’d leave just because I remember my past? Y/n…”
The sad nod you offer him breaks his heart.
“Y/n,” he brushes his thumb beneath your eye to catch another tear. “My past is a monstrosity, I was a monstrosity…I don’t want to go back to that, ever.”
“But—”
“Ever.” He affirms.
You stare at him, admiring the delicacy he paints your skin with. You’ve shared soft moments with him before, but this is something entirely new, entirely different.
“You’re not a monstrosity,” you whisper. “You’re not your past.”
He leans his against your shoulder, admiration clear in the gesture. It was only a day ago that he was placing a furious phone call to Brimstone on the jet home, uttering the same words you just spoke. Somehow, hearing it from you is more convincing than hearing it from himself.
It’s silent for only a moment before he says: “Getting back to what you said earlier.”
“What?”
You hardly even remember what you said to him in the midst of your meltdown, the words now sounding foreign in your ears.
“You think I don’t like you?”
“No, it’s not—you don’t need to…” you trail off awkwardly.
He pulls away from your shoulder and adjusts his grip on your face to force you to stare at him. “You said you feel like I don’t like you.”
“It’s not a big deal.”
“Y/n.”
His tone is serious and forces you to pause before you speak again. He still holds your jaw in his hand, keeping your gaze level with his. His fingertips are like fire against your skin.
“I’m only going to say this once.” He keeps that same serious tone. “The things I feel for you, they cannot be described with fondness, or admiration, or ‘like’. I don’t—I can’t” he corrects, “put it into words. But y/n, just know, it would take ripping me apart and scattering my atoms across time to get me to leave you.”
You melt. The former rigidness to your muscles, the proud set of your jaw—it all melts away. The butterflies in your stomach burst into your chest and leave you speechless.
Omen presses a soft kiss to your cheek. “Are we clear?”
You nod.
“Good.”
Omen falls back onto your mattress, grabbing your hips to tug you down with him. You settle in against the side of his chest, your head nuzzled into the crook of his arm. Your body practically gives away heat, acting as his own personal radiator.
He sighs contentedly, the sleep he’s been delaying coming easily with you by his side.

Radiant Recruit (Valorant x Reader)
Name: Y/N
Class: Radiant
Callsign - Nomad
You had been at odds with Kingdom for causing your abilities, and saw Valorant as nothing more than another group trying to reign you in.  Your power store radiant energy and unleash it proved difficult to contain.  Even worse, you could turn to pure energy and phase away.  It was a trick you used to escape Valorant time and time again.  Where you came from was only for you to know, until you were captured.
Tumblr media
(An idea of what Nomad can do // source: Infamous: Second Son)
Fade
Tumblr media
“Stop Y/N!  There’s no place you can run to that I won’t find you!”  Fade yelled down the hallway.  She had you cornered in Bind, inside the Kingdom refinery
“Leave me ALONE!” you screamed, unleashing a wave of radiant power at nearby pipes.  Steam filled the hall and you sprinted further away
A screech behind you caught your attention as one of Fade’s nightmares spotted you.  A terror trail led from your feet
Snarling prowlers rushed towards you and lunged.  You raised a hand and blasted them as they pinned you down
One sunk its teeth into your leg and darkness filled your vision.  Whispers surrounded you as memories of Kingdom spying on you resurfaced
Radiant power surged into your eyes before blasting through your body.  In your fear, you burnt through the last reserves of energy
Suddenly a voice cut through the chaos
“I have you now, ”
Weak sparks shot from your palm in an attempt to block the ball of tendrils Fade tossed at your feet
Seized by her power, unable to destroy the bindings, you found yourself resorting to struggling against the tethers
Fade took a Sheriff from its holster, the gunmetal gleaming in the red alarm lights.  She began to raise it upward towards you
Then turned and emptied the cylinder, catching the bullets and storing them in a pocket
“Valorant is not what you think, we are trying to do something important for the world!”
“So was Kingdom, I don’t care about what your cause is.”
“I was where you are right now, Y/N.  I was hunted by Valorant too.”  Fade’s tone softened
“What are you talking about?” You were slightly intrigued
“I…blackmailed them.  They sent a squad to catch me and could’ve killed me.  They gave me a home instead.  I trust them.”
“Prove it, how do I know you aren’t lying to get my guard down.”
“You can’t, but you have my word that we will let you go if you want to leave.” She reached a hand to you.  “Deal?”
Against your better judgment you decided to come along.  In an hour you were being flown to a remote island in the middle of nowhere
“So you know my name, but what’s yours?”
“Hazal.  Memnun oldum.”
Hazal sat with you, either for security or reassurance, in the conference room with Brimstone
“Y/N, I apologize for the methods we used but Valorant doesn’t have time for delicate approaches.  Fade has first hand experience with that.”
“I didn’t offer you another choice Brimstone,” Hazal seemed to feel some regret
“We wanted to get your help with Omega Earth,” he directed you to a hologram that showed all current information
It was unnerving, the doppelgangers and your personal clone trying to destroy the world.  The situation didn’t leave you feeling like you could run away
“So…are you in Y/N?”
“Count me in,” you went over to shake Brimstone’s hand.  He took it and handed you a keycard to your room
“You’re part of Valorant now Y/N.”  Brimstone nodded to Fade and you exited the room with her
“You’ll be assigned a callsign Y/N,”  Fade said as she led you to your quarters.  “Did you have anything in mind?”
“Uh, I guess we should figure it out while we have time.”  Your opened the door to your room and took a seat on the bed
Fade took a seat at your desk, looking around at the sparse interior before settling on you
“Y/N, what do you think about going by Nomad?  It would fit, don't you think?”
Iso
Tumblr media
“Oh shi-” you were surprised by a bullet ricocheting past you and putting a hole in the elevator controls
“Nice try Y/N, but you aren’t getting out of here unless you come with me.”  Iso chambered another round.  “Or else.”
“Go to hell!” you triggered a maelstrom of energy inside your body.  Radiant pulses fired from you and Iso lept to cover
Shifting into energy, you charged straight at him, ready to plant your glowing fists directly into his face
Hexagons spilled out under your feet.  Violet light blinded you before placing you into a strange space made of similar shapes
“You’re all mine Y/N.” a familiar voice echoed.  Iso had somehow captured you
The structures around you disappeared and a single shot rang out against the silence of the realm you were in
A bullet hit your chest, but the ballistic plate underneath stopped it.  It didn’t stop the force from slamming into you though
“Y/N, I admire your spirit but you lost this fight.  I won’t hurt you, I just want to show you what Valorant is trying to do.”
“And if I refuse?”
“You won’t leave here.  Ever.”
He wasn’t bluffing, but he didn’t seem like he wanted to condemn you to that fate either.  His aim was steady but his eyes were more focused on your response
“I’ll go with you, but if you try anything you’ll regret it.”
Iso sighed something in Mandarin
Purple energy wrapped you and placed you back in the building.  Iso waited for you to get to your feet and led you at gunpoint
The elevator controls were shot, so you and Iso took stairs to the roof.  When you arrived at the helipad, the VTOL was just landing
“Remember, I can trap you at anytime Y/N.  Don’t try to escape until we get to the island and we brief you.”  Iso was dead serious
He left you in the cargo hold of the VTOL while it took off.  He returned later on his phone and looked over at you
“Any requests for music?  I don’t like silence.”  Iso pointed at the phone
“(Your favorite artist).”
“I have a playlist for them, tell me what you think.”
The ride to the HQ was more pleasant than you expected
Subsequently, you were lead to a room with the leader of Valorant for more information
Brimstone finished explaining the situation.  Needless to say the Omega Earth version of you destroying city blocks was a frightening prospect
“Y/N, if you help us out you’ll be giving us the advantage.  We can let you go but we can’t guarantee your mirror won’t try to come after you.”
“I’ll join your protocol if it means I can protect people from my double.”
“Welcome to the fight Y/N.  Iso, take Y/N to the armory and get them fitted for their gear and run a basic shooting test.”  Brimstone shook you hand warmly
Iso and you walked down the hall, passing a few other agents that gave you a wave or raised an eye at your presence
Once you were in the armory, Iso went over ballistics and you did some basic target practice
“Y/N, have you given any thought to your callsign?”  Iso finished marking your grade in a tablet
“Not really, I do want something that sounds good and makes sense.”  you placed your rifle down and began a field strip test
“Since you were constantly on the run, how does Nomad work for you?”  He raised the tablet with the name entered in
“Sounds good.”
“I can’t wait to work with you, Nomad.” Iso nodded to you and handed you a magazine
Viper
Tumblr media
“Oh Y/N it’s precious that you think you can hide from me, but I like games of cat and mouse.”  Viper purred as you crept around Icebox
The woman had managed to cut off every escape from you, a fact she reveled in
“I assume you’re thinking that if you attack me, you can shut the toxins off and leave.” she was trying to draw you out, so you continued to sneak around
Viper turned and left
Green fog began to empty from the vents everywhere, catching you off guard.  It was then you realized she had been waiting for the toxins to get in the system
“Is it hard to breathe?  Try not to die before I find you, I don’t want to explain that to Brimstone.”
Coughing loudly, you attempted to crawl away as vertigo set in.  The toxins smelled like acetone mixed with acrid sweetness
Viper’s silhouette appeared as you lost consciousness.  Her figure towered above you as your eyes shut
“You’re awake, good.  I need you to listen to me Y/N, can you do that?”  Viper had unmasked and was now looking you directly in the eye
You nodded your head weakly while taking account of your surroundings.  Toxins had rendered your powers and muscles useless
“What do you want from me?” you hissed
“Join Valorant, we could use your-”
“NOBODY’S using me.” you spat back.  Viper glared at you
She removed a vial of poison and opened it.  She tilted the glass over your head, letting a drop hang over your eye
“Don’t interrupt me,” Viper narrowed her gaze, “Understood?”
“I’d rather die than be some kind of weapon for a bunch of sociopaths.”
“You aren’t in a position to argue, but we are going to play nice and show you the protocol.”
“Easy to do when I’m your prisoner.”
“Exactly Y/N.”
Minutes later you were being flown somewhere new, but had no idea what was waiting for you once you regained your motor functions
Viper and Brimstone sat with you, going over confidential files on Omega Earth and their agents.  It was shocking to your face among them as well
“We know they’ll end up using your mirror against us, so we need all the support we can get.”  Brimstone passed a keycard to you
You took it and shook his hand
“I’ll take Y/N to the medical wing and run biometrics so we can plan countermeasures against their double.”  Viper motioned for you to join her
The biometrics were mainly just scans and a blood test, but Viper took time to explain what each piece would be used for
“Y/N, you need a callsign for me to enter your information under.  Any ideas?”
“Not really.  I guess there’s the fact I was always escaping, that could be something.”
“Well you didn’t escape me,” Viper smugly raised an eyebrow.  “But I do like that idea, how about Nomad?”
“I like that, it sounds mysterious.”
“Perfect, now let's get you to your quarters and finish the tour so I can get back to my lab.”
“Can I see the lab?”
“No.”
Neon
Tumblr media
“I thought you were supposed to be fast!  So much for the protocol’s ‘Sprinter.” you taunted as you sped away down a street in your energy form
Neon trailed behind you, each pace pulsing with electricity.  She had almost caught you but a quick energy burst saved you
Now it was a matter of running, which was easy for you to do because you could move through obstacles
That was your thought until you ran out of radiant power in the middle of the street
“Slow huh?” Neon was on you quickly.  You decided to fight, unleashing what little energy you had left in missiles of force
She dodged and closed the distance, using her speed to shift her target faster than you could aim
In the blink of an eye Neon grabbed your arm.  Volts spasmed down your body, paralyzing you
“No more running Y/N.”  Neon dragged you to the side of the road and away from the public.  She hid you under a bridge, seating you on a bench
“So Valorant sends you to catch me and then what?  Lock me in a cell until you need to destroy something?”
“No, we want you to learn how to control the power before you hurt anyone.”  Neon trailed off, lost in thought
“Do you really control your power or is it just them letting you loose on anyone they want?”  You needled at her doubt
“So you must have lost control at some point then, did they show up and lock you away?  Just like what you want to do to me?”  Provoking her was the only thing you could do
“It wasn’t like that!  They found me…but after I had lost control,”
“Don’t lie to me, they can’t help me and they can’t you either!”
“SHUT UP!”  Sparks scorched the ground near Neon’s legs
Neon’s anger turned to regret “They gave me training for it and helped me make the best of it.”
Neon began to smile a bit as an arc of electricity moved up her hand
“I’m sure we’ll do the same for you.”
Once you could move, you and her walked back to a extraction point
“Do you really think they don’t want to use my power for themselves?  You were sent on this mission right?”
“I volunteered for this, Y/N.  You won’t have to fight unless you want to but we have Radiants that want to help you control your abilities.”
It wasn’t much reassurance without definitive proof, but it was good to hear as you stepped onto the VTOL
“Plus you’ll train with me Y/N.  So I’m hoping you decide to stay with us so we can have a rematch.”
Neon fidgeted in her chair at the conference with Brimstone and Sage.  Reyna stood in the back eying you over and occasionally muttering something in Spanish
“Y/N, your power is going to make the difference in the fight against Omega Earth.  We need you to back us up.”
“I- I want to but I’m not,”
Neon looked over at you and her nervousness switched something in you
“I can get ready for the field.  I’m on board sir.”  Neon relaxed at your response
“Good Y/N, glad to have you here.  We’ll enter some information for your file, in the meantime Neon can show you to the gym for a physical assessment.”
He passed her a tablet
Neon led you around the protocol and took you to the training area.  She took the tablet Brimstone gave her and had you start the tests
It wasn’t a great couple of hours, especially because Neon kept her eyes on you struggling the entire time
Finally the running test came up, and Neon readied a stopwatch
“Y/N, do you want to race?” Neon tossed the stopwatch in the air towards you
“Sure,” you caught the watch and readied it.  “Go!”
She cleared the mile in under 7 minutes without her power before taking the watch
“Beat that Y/N.”
Your mile was about 9 minutes, which was expected from someone who didn’t run often.  Neon did tone her taunting down during the run which was a welcome change
“So…Y/N what callsign do you want?  I have to put one here so what do you want?”
“I don’t really have anything.  I would pick something about running or escaping-” Neon looked up disapprovingly “-but I guess that’s your thing right.”
“Well you aren’t fast, just hard to keep in the same place.  Like a nomad. Oh that could work!”
Neon put down Nomad in name entry
“We even sort of match too.  I like Nomad, enter it in!”  You nodded to her and got ready for the next step in becoming an agent
Reyna
Tumblr media
“Tienes miedo?  I love a good chase Y/N.”  Reyna’s voice barely held her sadistic excitement back
Carefully, you hid behind cover while Reyna stalked through the courtyard of Sunset.  Loading your pistol, you sprang from the cover and opened fire
A glaring eye filled your vision, and you shot blindly at the space.  The bullets dissipated the eye, but Reyna was gone
“I’ve heard so much about you, your power.  Don’t disappoint me.”  Reyna’s skin turned to shadows and glowed with unnatural energy
“I WON’T!” you bellowed.  Particles of radiant energy spiraled around your body and blasted straight through Reyna
She made no effort to dodge your most powerful blast as it corkscrewed into her.  At first you thought she was going to die
It was much more terrifying than that
Reyna walked calmly through the beam toward you, her intangible state keeping her from damage.  The blast lost power and stopped
“Que fuerte, but not enough.”  Reyna grabbed your throat and slammed you to the ground
“If you struggle, I will continue to have fun with you.”  Her grip tightened to emphasize the point
“I’m not joining your damn organization.  You and Kingdom are all the same, just preying on Radiants.”
“QUE DEMONIOS ME DIJISTE?”  Reyna yelled, she drove her nails into your neck.  “I- We are nothing like them.”
Her outrage was enough to quiet you down
“Kingdom is our enemy Y/N, we can bring them down together.  Join me and we will destroy them.”  Reyna reached a hand out
You took it
Reyna leaned in and whispered in your ear
“Somos unido, contra el mundo.  Do not forget they are terrified of us.”
Reyna sat at your side at the table in the conference room.  Brimstone and Sage went over the situation with Omega
“If Omega uses the mirror version of you, we would have a hell of a fight ahead of us without you to help us out.”  Brimstone gave a worried look to the holographic files
“Don’t worry, I’ll join the protocol if I can make a difference.”
“Come with me Y/N, we will see how useful you can be to us.”  Reyna took your arm and moved you to the training room
A few bots appeared and Reyna took a seat
“Go on, end them Y/N.”
It took little effort to turn the bots into scrap metal and burnt plastic.  In your elation, you blasted a hole in the window near Reyna
“Que increible Y/N, you certainly have potential.”  She ran her fingers over the scorch marked bots
“The protocol requires a callsign,” she passed you a tablet with an input.  “I would put in my suggestions but I don’t want to speak for you.”
“Wait, what did you have in mind?” you looked over to Reyna while she leaned against the exit
“Pues, I was thinking something that felt unburdened.  Something freeing.  Viajero, no como se dice,” she paused feeling for the English word, “Nomad.”
“It means someone on the run or that moves around.  That does sound like me.”
“Claro, I think it suits you perfectly Y/N.  Now, let's begin your training and sharpen your strength.”
She sauntered across the room and started up more bots
“Mataremos, Nomad.”  You and Reyna tore into them together
Sage
Tumblr media
“Do not make me pursue you further Y/N, I wish no harm on you.”  Sage cried to you
“Then let me leave,” you readied an energy bolt, “I doubt you could even hurt me!”  You shot, directly into her chest
“So be it.” Sage muttered
Jade, tougher than steel, coated her hands and began to work into her skin.  Life energy flowed in and she rose up
Her skin healed as she charged you.  You burnt through your power to launch a vortex of radiant energy
The sphere engulfed her, but when it passed she was completely gone to your surprise.  A hand landed on your shoulder, then a chop connected to your temple
Sage had catapulted herself over the vortex using her wall, and gotten directly behind you
As a monk, she was adept in martial arts.  It didn’t help that the barrage of fists, palms, and kicks was hard as iron
You tried to swing back, but couldn’t move.  Sage coated you in jade, effectively restraining you with every blow
“Do you doubt I could hurt you now Y/N?”  Sage’s tone was retributive but took satisfaction in her position over you
“I don’t care what you try, you can’t force me to work with Valorant.  You chased me down like an animal, just like Kingdom.”
“We did pursue you Y/N, but we aren’t like Kingdom.  We want to help you, not use you.”
“I’m not interested in what you have to say, I’ll break free eventually.”
“No you won’t, it is unmoving and you are too.  I want you to see what Valorant truly is, not what you think it is.”
“I don’t give a shit what Valorant is, you tracked me and trapped me in this.”
“We tried to bring you in but you refused because you thought we were Kingdom.  I want to prove we’re better than them.”
“By encasing me in rock and hauling me somewhere against my will?  Just like Kingdom tried before?”
“You’d run away otherwise, and I went easy on you.  I could have broken your legs and healed them later, but I wanted you to see we aren’t cruel.”
It was true, she had held back enough not to render you unconscious or cripple you.  Plus she didn’t sound like she was lying, her tone was honest
“I don’t know if I can fully trust you, but if you want to show me Valorant I don’t really have a choice do I?”
“Not particularly, but I promise you are safe while under my watch.”
She had your petrified body loaded onto a VTOL and flown to the HQ
Once you had been briefed, and Sage released you, she passed you a keycard.  Brimstone finished his report on Omega
“Y/N, please lend us your aid.”  Sage pleaded
“I’m in, don’t worry.  I was wrong about you all, I’m happy to join.”
“Sage, take Y/N to the clinic and give them a check up.  I’ll finish Y/N’s file and send word to the agents that we have a new member.”
You and her went over to the clinic and she sat you down on the table before taking a few instruments out
“Y/N, please remove your clothes.” she took a tablet and started marking things as you cautiously took your clothing off.  You blushed the entire time
Sage moved quickly, giving you questions while she looked you over.  She finished her check up and had you dress back up
“Y/N, do not worry I have seen the entire protocol naked.  I am just doing my job.”
“I know, it’s just strange because I don’t know you that well.”
“Then I hope we become close,” Sage smiled at you, “I must ask you about what you want to use for a callsign.”
“I didn’t think about that.  Do you have any ideas?”
Sage responded with a long pause
“I suppose something that suggests your strengths.  You are flexible and spirited.”
“Do you have anything that sounds like either of those?”
“Would you accept Nomad?  It is the word for people that have no single place they call home.”
“Nomad…” you thought about it for a second.
“I love it!”
“Wonderful, now let’s finish your recruitment Nomad.”
Jett
Tumblr media
“I’m not gonna work with the woman that destroyed Venice!” you screamed as you launched a volley of energy at Jett
The backstreets of Split had turned into a storm of bullets and radiant explosions, Jett was lurking in the rafters while you stuck to the ground
She nimbly dashed from cover to avoid the bursts of plasma, then took aim with her Vandal
“Shut up!  You don’t know what you’re talking about!”  Jett’s serious tone cut through the chaos.  Her gun ran dry and she began to reload
“You can’t lie to me!  I’m never joining Valorant!”  A gathering of particles rushed through your hands, charging a pulse of energy that blasted Jett from cover
Her body flew through the air from the force, and you watched with satisfaction.  Then she suspended herself in midair, turning to you
“I’m done with your shit, Y/N.” Jett summoned her knives, and sent them for you
Acting quickly, you used the rest of your energy to blast the knives from their paths.  Each failed to connect as the knives moved on their own, weaving around
Blades sped past you, then sinking into your clothes and pinning you to the ground.  Jett drifted down and knelt next to you, a smug grin painted on her face
“So,” a blade twirled over her finger, “care to correct what you said about me and Venice?”
“I saw the footage, it was you.  I won’t work for people who shelter a monster.”
“IT WASN’T ME!”  Jett’s control slipped and the knife embedded itself next to your neck
“She took everything from me,” a few tears fell down from Jett’s cheek.  “You of all people should know what being slandered feels like!”
It was true Kingdom had done their best to scare the public after they lost track of you, and wasted no time showing how dangerous you were
“You want me to feel bad for you when you’re hunting me like them?  They took so much from me and you’re no different.”
“Y/N, you don’t have anywhere to go.  Valorant stood with me against the world, I stay with them because they know I’m not the enemy.”
Silence gave you time to digest how genuine she was being.  You could see how wounded she was and what Valorant meant to her
“I want them to help you Y/N.  We both had our lives ruined but Valorant is our second chance.”
“I’m not against it, but even if I was you’ve already caught me.”
Jett rolled her eyes and helped you up
“Valorant will help you, it’s like a second family to me.  I hope it becomes that for you too.”
The fact Jett’s double had ruined her life was made clear to you once you were in the care of Valorant
Her anger flared whenever the photo would appear in the report Brimstone gave you.  Wind would pick up in the room, moving papers about
You signed on immediately when you realized that you could make a difference and stop the mirrors from unleashing more Spikes
“Jett, I’m sure Y/N is going to need some help navigating the protocol.  Do you mind giving them a tour of the premises?”
“Yeah, let’s go Y/N.  This place is huge so we should start now.”
You and Jett took a walk through the corridors of Valorant.  Jett took you first to the training room and showed you the scoresheet
“As you can see, I have some high marks but no big deal.”  Jett gloated, making sure a nearby Phoenix could hear here
She took you next to the living quarters and introduced you to Killjoy and Raze, both of whom greeted you excitedly
Jett next took you to the cafeteria, mainly to flex the fact she cooked last night
“I bet you’re hungry after everything, we can probably take a minute here and have some of the chap chae I made.”
You and her reheated the noodles and added some onions and carrots to it
“So Y/N,” Jett practically inhaled her food, “what were you thinking for a codename?”
You finished a bit of food, “I don’t really know what I’d go with.”
“How about Nomad?  I mean it makes sense ‘cause you’re hard to catch.  Plus it sounds cool.”
“It does, we should use that!” you agreed
You and her finished up and cleaned your plates, then finished the tour
“Y/N, Nomad, tomorrow Phoenix, Neon, and I are gonna get together for movie night.  You should totally join us!”
“I’ll be there!”
Deadlock
Tumblr media
“Don’t try and run Y/N, you can’t escape me.”  Deadlock’s eyes trained on you, watching for any movement
She had you at gunpoint, pointing a Phantom at your chest ready to fire.  Her finger was slightly above the trigger
“Nobody is taking me prisoner!” you shouted before leaping out of the way and phasing into energy
Deadlock fired through you, the bullets disintegrating as they passed through you.  You sprinted through a wall and detransformed
That wasn’t so bad you thought to yourself as you began to make your way across the room you had entered
A beeping noise caught your attention as you exited, you searched for its source.  Then you looked to your left and saw the Sound Sensor
It concussed you and sent you reeling into the main room of the Kingdom outpost.  You spotted the exit on the second floor and dashed up the stairs
“YOU’RE NOT LEAVING MY TERRITORY Y/N!” a yell caught you off guard.  A blue string floated in front of your face for a single second
Then an onslaught of fibres wrapped your arms and legs, restraining you.  You did everything you could to escape but it was too late
The cocoon floated somewhere, but a brief minute later you felt yourself being picked up and carried outside
Bitter cold crept in through the gaps in the nanowire, causing you to shiver.  Then you felt yourself being rested on snow
A knife cut through the web, a centimeter from your face.  It opened your face up to the chilling weather and Deadlock’s stoic expression
“Are you cold?  You keep moving like you’re shivering.”  Her voice was flat, unbothered by the freezing winds
“I-I’m f-f-fine, I don’t, n-need any he-help.” you did your best not to let her notice your teeth chattering
“You are an awful liar, we’re going back to the station.” Deadlock began a march back and threw you over her shoulder
“Put me down!”
“You’ll freeze Y/N, I don’t want you to get frostbite.”
“Why?  You opened fire at me why does it matter if I get cold?”
“I know you don’t deserve to suffer out here, and I didn’t shoot to kill.  Valorant sent me to collect you but we won’t mistreat you.”
“You’re part of Kingdom, I know you are.”
“I’m not, when our extraction arrives we’ll take you to our headquarters and you can see that we have your best interests at heart.”
You went silent, confused at the fact she was taking you back to the outpost instead of directly to her allies.  It wasn’t something a typical mercenary or Kingdom would do
“How long until they arrive?”
“A few minutes from now.”  Deadlock shut the door and laid you against a wall near a heating vent
“Rest Y/N, I don’t want you to freeze.”
Hours later, you were in the tropics at the Valorant HQ
You exited Brimstone’s office with a newfound appreciation for Valorant.  Your Mirror concerned both you and the agents around you
Brimstone had finished signing you up with the protocol, and you agreed to go to the armory to get an idea of what you would be training with
Deadlock led you through the headquarters, giving you a brief tour of the base before stopping at the weapon room
“Y/N, we are going to go over weaponry while the others finish notifying the protocol about you and readying your quarters.”  Deadlock handed you a Guardian
“Take it and see how it feels.”  She watched you explore the rifle and attempt to take it apart.  Field stripping was not your strength
Deadlock began to help you, as well as go over the rest of the armory’s collection.  You learned how to clean the guns which seemed to be enough for Deadlock
“I’ll have a kit sent to your room, but I have to ask what were you thinking for a code name?”
“Codename?”
“Every agent gets one, so we have to assign you one.”  She referred to her own ID card and took a seat at the firing range
“Come on, I don’t have the slightest idea of what to put for one.  What would you put?”
Looking upwards in thought, Deadlock paused for a second before meeting your gaze
“They gave me my name because I can stall the enemy.  You specialize in moving and being unpredictable.”
You nodded in agreement
“Perhaps, Nomad?” Deadlock shrugged her shoulders
“You know that sounds good.  Put Nomad as my codename please.”  You felt the name around a bit before settling into the callsign
“Hey Deadlock,”
“Yes?”
“Thank you for the name and for not letting me freeze.”
“It was no trouble at all.”

I am in dire need of more iso x reader so bad
Can I ask for Iso x cold! sniper! reader Can be platonic or romantic if it's okay (・∀・)
So reader has been part of the protocol for a while before iso (they joined just after gekko) and she's still a lone wolf then enters Iso. They would always coincidentally bump into each other and reader would just nod at him and walk past him even though Iso tries to strike up a conversation. (also reader is prone to getting hurt all the time whether it's on a mission or just a normal everyday fistfight with strangers)
One mission Iso and reader were both in the same team, timeskip to team entering battle, so reader pushes Iso out of the way and takes a hit resulting in reader being critically injured so when they got back to HQ Iso confronts them
Thanks for requesting! I will say, this was a little tough considering I don’t know much about Iso’s personality aside from what it says on the wiki. I apologize if this is ooc! Hopefully I did him justice!
Gender-Neutral Reader written, but input whichever gender you prefer/identify as if you’d like!
Summary: Lone wolf Reader keeps their distance from everyone- even from the newest recruit, Iso. Despite his best efforts to be friendly, conversations are avoided or cut short. But one fatal injury on the battlefield is the final straw, before Iso decides that he’s had enough of the ‘stand-off-ish’ façade, and demands answers. Does the reader actually give a shit or not?
Warnings: Some cursing, critical injury (nothing graphic), near death experience, possibly ooc Iso?

Cold Shoulder
Reader x Iso
| Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 |
~
When Iso initially joined the Protocol, he was expecting to be treated with an air of caution. He was, quite literally, an assassin. And to boot, one that had been requested to target one of the Protocol's agents; Omen. Many were still skeptical of him- and he couldn't exactly blame them. For all they know, he could've joined Valorant to make his job easier to finish.
It had been a fair few weeks by that point. Some of the agents had come around, seeing that Iso wasn't just out for blood and, in fact, was seeking haven within their walls. His skills in the field proved expert, proving further to any doubters amongst VP's ranks that he was worth the risk; the myth incarnate.
Though he was far from the most impressive in the field. As arrogant as Iso could be, even he couldn't doubt the abilities of his fellow agents; with Reyna and Chamber both being most fascinating to him. The empress herself, and the expert marksman... could there be a more intriguing member to be drawn to?
Yes, actually.
Expert sniper rivalling even Chamber's ability, Y/N was incredible to witness on the battlefield, and Iso very quickly found himself drawn to his fellow agent. Swift, precise, seemingly always appearing at the right moment to save someone's ass; hell, even Yoru couldn't help but be grateful for Y/N's sharp eye.
Unfortunately for him, Y/N was notorious amongst the agents for being one of the coldest people there, keeping to themselves when not on a mission; even proving a tad short-tempered at times as well. They had quite the record for starting fights with certain agents-- okay, yes, it was Yoru, and yes, it was very much warranted.
Yet... Y/N intrigued him still. As a result, he did his very best to get on their good side. Complimenting their aim after a particularly close call, offering to grab them some coffee on cold mornings... he'd even tried to strike up a conversation once or twice. To no avail, sadly. But it didn't stop him from trying. He was nothing if not persistent.
"Y/N!" Iso raised his hand in greeting, as he spotted you across the hall, supposedly heading his way. Another chance, he thought- maybe he'd get some progress today. Y/N had noticed the newest agent greeting them, and nodded firmly in recognition. Did Iso... just get acknowledged? That was a first with you! It excited him a bit more than perhaps he might've thought.
"I saw you in the shooting range earlier... looked like you were having a competition with Phoenix. Heard you wiped the floor with him, good job." Iso started as you approached him. You gave a small shrug in response, hands in your pockets as your sniper rifle hung off your back. "It wasn't much of a challenge. He was too distracted with trying to impress me to... well, impress me. It was finished rather quick."
That didn't surprise Iso in the slightest. Phoenix did have a slight ego, always feeling the need to try and impress the newer agents in hopes of gaining their respect. So far it'd only really worked with Gekko and Harbor... and that was enough for him to do it even more frequently.
Before the assassin could open his mouth to add anything to the conversation, he found himself being brushed by rather quickly by you. His eyebrows knit together slightly in frustration as he turned just as you passed, reaching out to grab your shoulder.
"Y/N, wait-"
"Don't touch me." You scolded coldly, your tone enough to startle Iso into retracting his hand immediately. He cursed himself internally- why had he done that? He must've broken a boundary by touching you, even if it was innocently. Fuck.
"I'm sor-"
Slam went a door in his face. Your door. To your room. Had he been standing in front of your door this whole time...? God, how creepy he must've come off, he thinks. How come things always went to poorly when he tried to talk to you...?
Sighing heavily, he ran a hand through his hair, with the sound of his lone footsteps echoing down the now-empty hall. With an air of defeat, he resigned to go to his own room for the night. Maybe he'd have better luck with you tomorrow...
---------
A few days had passed since Iso's failed conversation attempt, and things with you were still as barren as ever. It frustrated him to no end, but there really wasn't much else he could do.
All too soon came the day when you and Iso were sent on a mission together. You seemed as indifferent as ever, whilst Iso saw it as another opportunity to try and win some form of your favor. But god, was he ever trying hard not to come off as overbearing.
The team was ordered to defend B site of Pearl, one of Iso's favorite spots out of all the locations the Protocol would send them; primarily because you were in your element. Staring down B Main with an Operator set up, waiting, watching... It'd be a lie to say that Iso wasn't staring. Your focus and intensity was... fascinating to watch. Iso was positioned at B Screen, meant to watch the side of the pillar that was out of your range. Emphasis on 'meant' to watch... As he was far too busy watching you in action to actually focus.
A bullet from your classic shot past him, jolting him out of his daze as he caught your glare. "Iso, focus. They could be rushing us any second." You scolded. As a result, Iso's face grew a fine shade of red out of embarrassment. You'd definitely just caught him staring, now he was completely thrown off. God. Could this mission get any worse, even though it barely started?
As if on cue, the mirror agents had rushed by the box atop B Ramp. Your heart dropped for a moment as you saw an enemy Chamber quickly set up from behind the box, scope aimed directly for Iso's head. Goddammit.
"Iso!" You shout to him, panic evident in your voice, which was... definitely new. Your tone was usually so monotone, empty, uncaring- but the second you saw your teammate's life in danger-
You were moving before you knew what was happening, abandoning your operator at your position as you ran forward. You'd managed to grab his arm, forcefully yanking him down as a bullet whizzed past, missing Iso by mere milliseconds. Now disoriented, Iso was shaken by his shoulders, meeting your steely gaze.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?! Aren't you supposed to be some kind of... myth or some shit? Where is your head at?" You hissed at him, causing Iso to swallow the nervous lump suddenly in his throat. Why was he so off his game today? Was it solely the fact he was put on a mission, at the same site as you? Was it--
Bullets began raining through the screen they were ducked behind, relentlessly. That was an Odin in action, easily- the inaccurate bullet holes said that much, since they were shooting from so far away-- though before you could properly assess the situation and form a plan, or even call for backup- you felt a searing pain in your shoulder. A pained hiss escaped from you as you instinctively pushed Iso away. Then another bullet, then another-
Before you could take more hits, you found Iso in front of you, sending his shield forward to stop anymore bullets from reaching you.
Throwing you into his arms, Iso took a running start and slid into B hall, where your operator was, setting you down by a wall. "Sage, I need backup at B site immediately!" Iso shouted into his coms, as he positioned himself at your Operator. His eyes bore into your soul as you felt a strong dizziness overtake you, the sound of the gunfire becoming a ringing in your ears.
"Don't you dare die on me, Y/N."
The last thing you remember is Iso firing your Operator, and the sound of the Odin stopping.
------------
You awaken to the dim lighting of the infirmary, and a soreness throughout your torso. Moving to sit up was painful, forcing you to move slower as you got a feel for your surroundings. Looked to be about 3AM, based on the deafening silence. And the clock on the wall was a helpful indicator as well. Duh.
You rubbed your face, still feeling completely drained and exhausted. Looking down at your torso, you see nothing but a few new scars, presumably from where you'd been shot. A shoulder shot, one to the side, and one just narrowly avoiding your stomach. Any more bullets and you'd look like swiss cheese.
Once your senses were fully awake, you became acutely aware of another presence in the room. Your eyes shot towards where you sensed this presence, expecting to find Sage or maybe even Skye-
"Iso?"
Iso had been sat in a chair nearly, eyes closed resting, with a single earbud playing music into his ear. Usually he'd have both in and completely tune everything out after a mission- something you'd noticed the first few times you'd gone on a mission with him. A little thing to notice, you thought to yourself.
At the sound of your voice, though a tad hoarse from having just woken up, Iso's attention was directed to you immediately. His eyes widened in both surprise and relief, as he tossed his earbuds aside, and slid his chair over to your bedside. "Oh thank god. You've been out for days, I was starting to think Sage lied to me when she said you were stable." His voice was drenched in relief.
"You told me not to die on you. So I didn't. Just following orders." You started, earning a slight glare from your fellow agent, who didn't seem too pleased.
"Uh- no. No more of that." He interrupted you before you could say anything else, holding his hand up, as if to tell you it was his turn to speak. Your eyebrows furrow in confusion. "No more of what-?" You prompt slowly, not entirely sure why he seemed so upset. You were fine, weren't you?...
"This... whole thing you do!" Iso gestured vaguely at you, trying to find the proper words to convey his frustration, but it only left you more confused- and a little irritated.
"What are you talking abou-"
"You pretend not to give a shit about anybody, you give everyone the cold shoulder- you make it clear you don't want to associate with any of us. And then, for some reason, you basically throw yourself in front of an Odin to save me? Risked your life for someone who you've only ever pushed aside?" Iso's eyes narrowed at you as he speaks. You feel a strange nervousness twinge in your chest.
"Sage had to resurrect you, Y/N. You literally died for me! I just... don't understand what your deal is!"
You didn't notice until now, but... Iso was holding your hand in both his own. His voice was wavering, but he dared not subject you to anything further than that to show his fear.
You find yourself averting your gaze, noticing there's a single lilac on the table next to your bed.
"I... I apolog-... No. I'm sorry, Iso." You correct yourself, your usually-tense shoulders shifting to a more relaxed position, despite your mild discomfort at being called out like this. Had you really been so cold towards the other agents?
"Listen, I-... Don't exactly have an explanation that'll satisfy you." You admitted softly, causing Iso's gaze to soften in return. Sighing, you continue. "I've always... worked on my own. I never found a need to make connections with the people I happen to work alongside, because I know that... one of us is inevitably gonna leave, or die. It'll cause more grief than anything, getting close to people, only for them to be taken in the blink of an eye. I've been through my fair share of loses... and I'm just sick of how terrible it feels. It's better for me to just get by without getting too attached. Nobody gets hurt that way."
"I don't think you're thinking about this right at all." Iso piped up quietly, though there was an air of understanding laced in his words. "I was a fixer, Y/N. I worked solely on my own, like you. If I crossed the wrong kind of people, anyone I cared about could become weapons to be used against me for blackmail. It was only after joining the Protocol that I started opening up to others. After all, Valorant has promised to protect me from my employers, so any connections I make within Valorant are... safe. This is the only place I feel like I can make friends that won't be used against me, I guess." He wasn't able to keep his cheeks from reddening. Admitting all this was new for him, but... he thought that if he shared his own experience with you, maybe it would provide you the comfort you need to do what he did.
The silence in the room was heavy, and yet... it was oddly comforting to you. You actually had someone who understood where you come from. A small smile found its way onto your face, as you allowed your gaze to meet Iso's.
"I guess despite my best efforts... I ended up caring about someone after all. Some idiot who almost got a bullet to the forehead." You couldn't help but smirk faintly as you flicked Iso's forehead, causing the man to flinch in response. He shot you a slight glare, though no malice could be detected behind his eyes. He let out a sigh, shaking his head slowly.
"You're... never gonna let me live that down, are you, Y/N?"
"Nope."

The lies we've told this city..
pair: iso x gn! reader
warnings: mentions of cheating, a bit angsty maybe?
note: i have finaallly finished all of my pending works!! so heres an iso fic 4 yall!! i also turned 18 a few days ago :) i feel old LMAOO n my back hurts sm :'(
Tumblr media
walking in the night sky, the moon watching every person's move, yet here you are, doing something you shouldn't. you and iso have been sneaking around for the past few months. By sneaking around, iso's been cheating on his significant other for you, you both know it's wrong but it feels so right. the only person who knows about this is sage and viper, you felt safe with them, for some reason the person iso is dating is not in the valorant protocol. everyone knew that iso is dating someone, so you two weren't being open at work.
hiding this wasn't so easy either, iso's partner visits the protocol often, and by often, i mean everyday. you couldn't believe that brimstone was allowing this considering the circumstances that she might face when someone attacks and so on.
"so, when are you gonna tell her?" you said, staring blankly at the sky then looking at iso. "i don't know." same old answer everytime, for some reason, iso feels the need to have two partners at the same time. he loves his girlfriend still, and he loves you, but he can't pick. he doesn't want to. you wanted to leave him but you can't, and it's so wrong.
you went back to hq, bumping into sage, she was shocked, you were crying on the way home. "hey, are you alright? why are you crying?" you burst into tears, if you were crying earlier then this time, your tears would be enough to flood the town. "i.. i don't know what to do anymore, with iso.. i love him but i don't want it to be like this.." your voice cracks each word you let out, she didn't want to see you like this, it hurt her. "oh dear, i know you do, i know you love him so much to the point you cry like this. but y/n, you know this is wrong don't you? so why don't you let him go? there's other people to be in love with like this, you can't just stick with a man who isn't even loyal to his own girlfriend."
you two went to the lounge and surprisingly no one was there, usually yoru, jett, phoenix, neon, and the gfs hangs out there around this time, but no, they weren't. "sit and breathe y/n, i'll get you something to drink." you sat, tried calming down, it hurt so bad to settle for something like that. "oh? y/n? what are you doing here?" that voice, the one you hated hearing the most. iso's girlfriend was still there? "oh uh, hi.." you answered quietly, "i thought you were with the others? i came for iso but he wasn't in his room.." she sat with you, "ah, iso? i don't know where he is, i saw him by the balcony earlier but after that, i have no idea." "hm, weird. he's always in his room haha" she laughed a bit, it sounded fake though, "maybe he went outside to buy something?" you gave a curious face, "ah, haha maybe?"
sage was back and was shocked to see iso's gf as well, "oh? good evening dear, you're still here? i thought you went home." sage asked while giving you water, "oh ahaha, i fell asleep in phoenix's room, we were hanging out there earlier along with jett and neon. so i kind of basically just woke up." hmm weird but you bought it. "ah, i see. well anyway, do you need anything?" "oh i don't, i'm just waiting for iso." she said giving a smile. sage replied with an okay and sat in front of you two. a few minutes later footsteps were heard and iso came, "hi baby, where were you?" "oh uh i went to get something sorry, were you waiting for me?" iso's gf replied with a yes and they went to iso's room together.
"so how's that making you feel? hm? it hurts no?" "yeah, it does." you frowned, "ay ay y/n when are you ever gonna learn? leave him. he isn't good enough for a person like you, now is he? he's the one you want but he's not enough" "i know and knowing that it hurts, so much sage" sage got up and sat beside you, hugging you while you cried in her chest. is this worth it? is iso worth it?...

PORTADA DE ABRIL: ‘H.I.E.L.O.’ de Duki x Ignacio Ayerza
Furio a.k.a.

here’s some iso crumbs in my brain. i wanna write a one-shot for this but… my ideas are still all over the place… (x_x)
Tumblr media
iso is probably the guy who gives the COMFIEST hugs ever ! likeeee have u seen him ? he’s just a huge teddy bear, your sweet huge teddy bear :]
and i was thinking of how he deals with an overworking!reader…
he knocked your office door, his head peeking inside as his eyes immediately caught your tensed figure working at your desk.
“hey babe, i think you’re done for today—”
“not yet…”
he sighed, not surprised with your stubborn behaviour. he immediately gathered all the documents scattered on your desk, ignoring the way your tired eyes glanced at him.
his thumbs reached for your puffy eyes, giving soft rubs as comfort.
“come on, it’s time for bed…” he said, as he picked you up and gave you a kiss on top of your head. you gave in to his warmth, drowsiness slowly taking control of your body.
“m’ tired…”
“i know, baby,” he took a pause to plant a soft kiss on your forehead, “and i’m proud of you.”
oh and… he would give you one of his hoodies / jackets for you to sleep in.
iso loves seeing you cuddled in his own clothes, his heart warmed up with the fact that you find comfort with his belongings.
the sight of you wearing his jacket (that looked too big on you) while chilling on his bed as you devoured the snacks he always have in his room, is something iso would kill for.
you’re just a little angel in his eyes, an angel he swore to protect.

One Hazy Winter [Iso x F! Reader] [2]
[ Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3 / Part 4 / Part 5 ]
Genre: Angst, fluff ‎
TW: Depression and implied suicide ‎ ‎
Words: 4.7k ‎
Synopsis: One winter before his disappearance, you told your boyfriend Yu about a question you’ve had for so long; one even he could hardly respond to. It took many more hopeless winters for you to finally have your answer.‎
Note: Please don't copy or steal my work and pass it off as your own! If you'd like to use one of my headcanons or something, I'd love it if you tagged or asked. Also, happy new year!!! 2025 boutta be my year lads
Winter, present day.
‎
Sitting on your bed and staring blankly at the wall became one of your top hobbies. And with Yu’s disappearance, with no one left to make you aware as to how fatuous and even harmful this habit was, it only moved up the dwindling list.
In fact, you’d been sitting there and reminiscing for the past five hours. Though you’d usually wear headphones to go along with it, this year, you avoided your earbuds like the plague.
They were tucked away, hidden, collecting dust in your drawer since last winter. And all you had to accompany you as noise were the sounds of the people outside, their chatter muffled by the closed windows. The air was still, your muscles were aching, and your mind was crowded with pessimism.
Losing Yu was almost like the process of losing your parents, minus the denial part of it. There wasn’t one thing in this town that didn’t remind you of him.
The path you took home reminded you of him. The bus he usually took that would pass by you, the blankets, the scent of lemons… Heck, even the rocks he’d kick sometimes whilst you both walked, you swore you saw some of them on the way home today, as if they were jeering at you.
Although Yu helped you somewhat move on from your parents after nearly two decades of grief when you both met, this time, there wasn’t another ‘Yu’ to help you move on from this loss. And you knew Ying wasn’t one to fit this criteria. Not when she was your boss. But… would you even be able to do something like this on your own?
Maybe you were just meant to be alone. Hey, maybe this was your penance for… some wrongdoing you couldn’t think of.
‎
However, whilst you were staring, a sudden rush of adrenaline coursed through your body. And you found yourself passing through your bedroom door in the blink of an eye for no good reason.
You were already in the living room with only a few short steps. And the very sight of the cramped area made your stomach churn. Blankets strewn about on the couch and the two armchairs on each side, the remote on the coffee table that was slightly angled to the left, and the grey tufts of the plain carpet that swayed despondently with each passing second. Nothing had moved, and the only change was the dust that began gathering thanks to the neglect.
Your eyes immediately darted to the corner of the living room, and that simply move answered the question that popped up in your mind.
The plant died. Just as expected. Shrivelled up, starved and dry, its thin branches curled up like the bony fingers of a decade-old corpse.
You could already hear Yu in your ear, sensing your grief and looking to cheer you up any way he could. ‘Would you like me to empty that for you?’ he’d say. Then, he’d grab it and take it outside before you’d give him the confirmation, the thought of people judging him not even popping up in his mind.
You were sure he’d then try to convince you that it was okay. It was just one plant, you can always replace it. Besides, houseplants weren’t your specialty, were they?
How sweet of him, you thought. Lying and doing anything to spare your feelings.
You then felt a pang of shame. Aside from work, you hadn’t done anything today. What would Yu say about that? Whatever it was, it wouldn’t be something pleasing to hear, that’s for sure. You might as well do something productive and empty the thing. Declutter a bit. Besides, your muscles were starting to ache from staying still for too long.
‎
You grabbed the maroon pot by the rim on each side. Then, with a deep breath, you began pulling it back, using all of your remaining strength to move it outside of the living room without dropping any of the dirt inside. God knows you wouldn’t find the willpower to clean that up, you already used up all of it today back at work and… staying alive in general. But then, another concerning thought popped up in your mind.
If this was how the one houseplant you kept looked like, the thought of what was in the balcony only sent shivers down your spine.
‎
‎
The bell above let out a peculiarly jolly jingle once you swung the door and entered the café for today’s shift. It was a detail you didn't care enough to note, not since you were too focused on letting your eyes get used to the repetitive chequered patterns on the walls and the mind-numbing music that played. That, combined with the dull morning that hardly differed from the others, you didn’t even realise you slid out of bed today.
However, it wasn’t until Ying’s voice immediately filled your ears, her tone pleasantly complementing said bell and snapping you from your half-asleep zombie-like state.
‎
“There you are! How’s my little gardener doing?”
‎
She almost spoke in a musical-like cheerful tone, each word rhythmically leading to the next. Ying stood behind the register with a confident posture. Shoulders back, hands on hips, wide smile, and her ponytail ever so gently swaying with the weak breeze that weakly entered from the nearby window like a particularly shy child.
Even the people outside seemed to share the feeling of gloom you always carried you around. So her attitude weirded you out for a second, especially with everything going on, but that’s not what you wanted to ask her about.
‎
“Gardener?”
‎
“Yes! You took the seeds home from yesterday, remember? Ah, now that I mention them…”
‎
Right, the seeds you sealed in a bag and tossed in the back of your fridge. It’s not like you planned on doing anything with them, it was more so done by instinct. You didn’t even know if putting them in the fridge was good for them, you thought as you made your way behind the counter.
‎
“What happened to them, if I may ask?”
‎
She questioned thoughtfully, one finger on her chin. Her tone bore a hint of eagerness only found in her or Yu’s voice. And though it upset you, you worked to not let this sway the conversation.
‎
“I haven’t done anything besides rinse them.”
‎
“I insist you try, Y/N. It could be a productive use of your time!”
‎
It was painfully obvious what she was referring to. And you weren’t amused, despite how subtle she tried to be about it.
‎
“I can hardly keep a potted plant alive, Ying. What makes you think I can get back to something like gardening?”
‎
‘You make it look so easy’ everyone said whenever they used to see you march in with tropical fruit you harvested from the trees on your balcony. But it wasn’t. God knows it wasn’t easy at all.
It took years upon years of practice to get to where you were in terms of knowledge. That, and it only took one loss for you to slip down a hole that forced you to list out reasons as to why you should bother making lunch for the day.
‎
“You did it before, I am highly certain you can do it again. No, in fact, I am confident you can!”
‎
Her eyes sparkled with an inappropriate amount of anticipation. A sparkle that nearly competed with her teal earrings in terms of brightness. Seems like making that juice yesterday set off a bomb of hope inside of her, for some reason. And it didn’t look like she was giving up any time soon.
You held up a hand.
‎
“I appreciate the thought, but–”
‎
“You should do it!”
‎
You jumped once she took your hand in hers, the warmth from her soft skin providing an abundance of comfort.
‎
“I’m not waiting a whole year for a measly harvest of two wrinkly fruits.”
‎
Almost like she didn’t hear you, Ying continued happily letting the words flow out of her mouth.
‎
“There’s a shop nearby that sells garden ready plants. And if I recall correctly, they started selling passion fruit, as well. Perhaps you can give that a try?”
‎
A sigh escaped you. You knew that shop. In what world would a former gardener not know something like that?
But it didn’t seem like she was catching on to your body language, either. You were practically begging to be let go from this conversation and just go to work. The thought of dealing with customers was daunting enough already. However…
Okay, this wasn’t one of your proudest talents, but when reasoning didn’t work, you had another technique on how to make someone as airheaded as Ying shut up. You used it on Yu a lot, after all. But only as a last resort.
‎
“Okay. Fine. I’m convinced. I’ll look into it after work. Alone,”
‎
You counted down for the response you expected from her. And, just as you thought, she lit up at this, grinning widely.
‎
“Tell me how it goes, okay? And– and if you’d like any help, I’ll be one text away.”
‎
“Got it.”
‎
You mumbled and walked past her, finally making your way into the familiar yet very unfriendly arms of the back of the counter, clocking in.
Ugh. ‘I’ll be one text away’, she said. You almost felt guilty. Bosses like Ying were hard to come by. And the fact she even cared about your mental health set her value in stone. Yet here you were, brushing off her attempts to cheer you up.
You pushed away the feelings of guilt. If you were going to feel bad, you weren’t going to do it during work. Maybe when you get back and lie back down.
‎
‎
There was one question you knew Ying most likely wouldn’t have known the answer to whilst she spoke to you about getting back to gardening.
Who bloody cares?
Really, who cared whether or not you went back to gardening? And even if you did, what would you do with the fruit you’d get? It’s not like baking was a priority for you. You could barely get out of bed on most days, let alone use said harvest to produce some sort of dessert or jam, or whatever. That stuff was complicated.
That, and you hardly visited Yu’s grandmother anymore for her monthly lemon dessert. You couldn’t handle the thought.
But you didn’t ask, mostly because you didn’t really want to upset her. Questions like that were more personal to Ying than they ever were to Yu. You weren’t sure why, but you attributed it to her valuing life to an abnormal degree. And, you know, the philosophy stuff.
You aimed to rush home as soon as you could. Walk down the familiar path, ignore that cursed shop, and just get to bed. It seemed reasonable and quite easy. Like every other day. No, like every day. You were just crawling back to the comfort of lamenting the past, of dreading the future and hating the present.
The routine started to sicken you.
You stopped in the middle of your path. Fists clenched, buried deep within your pockets, and the sweat that dripped down your chin despite the blankets of snow around you only added on to the abundance of discomfort you felt. Then, you turned back and walked towards the shop you worked so hard to ignore just a few moments prior.
‎
You used your spare money to buy a garden ready passion fruit plant. You had no idea why you were doing this. You had no idea why you would waste your money on something so expensive, just for it to probably die because you couldn’t even take care of yourself. Should you be even doing this in the winter? Wasn’t winter notorious for death?
And yet, with all of this, you still walked out with an empty wallet and a plant to care for.
The very thought of getting up every day and having to water it made your stomach churn. But the only bright side was that this thing didn’t remind you of Yu or your parents. It was just some plant, and passion fruit was your favourite fruit. So, grief couldn’t ruin this for you. Right? Yeah, no. Your mother liked passion fruit, as well.
This was going to be more difficult than you imagined it to be. But, to be fair, most things were.
‎
A sigh escaped you as you set the plant inside the vast pot and dumped the extra soil around it. With its roots spread out, it should be safe for it to adapt in this new environment despite the season. However, though you were careful, bits of soil had managed to pour out of the pot and onto the ground whilst you wrapped it around the plant.
You cared for about a few picoseconds, before another thing took over your mind.
With the soil finally surrounding the plant, you dusted your hands off and grabbed the rim of the brown pot on each side. Then, with a huff, you began moving once more. Moving it into the large windows that welcomed the sharp rays of the sun with open arms. Only a few, sure, but they were strong enough and managed to bleed through the blanket of clouds outside.
There should be enough sunlight for it to grow. And now, with water and some fertiliser, it should bear fruit in about a few…
You couldn’t really remember. Wait, should you be even using fertiliser…?
Nevertheless, you stood back and admired your work. But instead of feeling pride, all you thought about was how the leaves and branches were long enough to press up against the walls and the curtains, despite how much distance you worked to put in between them. And exhausted was too tame a word to describe what you felt.
It shouldn’t be too much of an issue, the optimistic side of you thought… unless the main branch grows long enough to hit the ceiling.
‎
‘Are you sure there’s enough space?’
‎
Yu asked curiously, earning that same vacant look from you. Though he couldn’t see it since he stood behind you, he knew you long enough to the point that he could sense it through the heavy air.
Ugh.
‎
“I’ll make space.”
‎
You said between gritted teeth, annoyed at your inability to push away his words. Maybe he was the optimistic side of you, sitting in your brain like an annoying wasp that would sting you randomly.
‎
‘You should look into getting a bigger spot.’‎‎‎
‎
‎‎‎‎‎“Not everyone has a lush house all for themselves, Yu–”‎
‎
You turned to angrily face him, but the only thing your eyes landed on were the drab grey walls of your apartment.
Right. Yu wasn’t here. He was gone.
Why did you remember what he used to say? You thought as you nervously faced the plant once more, filling in the empty spots with the surrounding piles of soil.
Maybe it’s because he always stuck to you like a row of ducklings to their mother. Or… you just really missed him. And you wanted to apologise for that burst of anger, even though his presence was just a distant memory. Ugh, whatever.
You forgot about him and your parents while you were moving the pot and the plant. Unfortunately, that short-lived moment of peace immediately faltered once you were done, and you were back to the miserable prison you called a ‘mind’. Maybe this is what happens when you try to get out of your comfort zone. When you try to do something other than lay in bed or mindlessly take customers’ orders like a bloody zombie.
A huff escaped you, and you left to wash your hands. You need to get back to bed pronto. This gardening rubbish wasn’t healthy for you anymore.
‎
‎
Winter, two and a half years ago.
‎
You spent eight hours awake today. But they weren’t really productive by your standards.
Six spent in bed, and two on the couch with Yu’s fingers intertwined with yours. His thumb had been outlining the lines on your palm for so long, it felt like he started digging into your skin. Today was a workday, not a weekday. And neither of you made it to the café for, admittedly, no solid reason. For you, anyway. Your boyfriend probably found a good way to put what happened into words given his impressive eloquence.
‎
Yu waited outside for you by the gate like every other morning. Despite the thicker clothes he wore for today, the temperature still seemed to take its effect on him. Nevertheless, he ignored the lingering cold of the blizzard that had occurred yesterday in favour of accompanying you.
But you didn’t show up. Which was… weird, to say the least. You didn’t mention anything about taking the day off today, and Ying didn’t send him any texts either, so…
He waited and waited. Then, he took out his phone and decided to call you. Once, twice, three times… No answer. Then, he sent a few texts. But still, there was naught of a response from you despite how long he had been standing outside. The cold began stinging the exposed skin of his cheeks and fingers. It felt like pins and needles plunged into him, but in this moment, such discomfort felt frivolous to think about.
The clock struck eight, but you were still nowhere to be seen. And despite the state of your mental health, the contingency of you being late for work was one silly to even consider. So, what on earth was going on?
‎
“What’s the wait for, son? It’s getting cold out here.”
‎
A gravelly voice snapped him from the terror that had been building up, and he looked up to see the security guard standing on the other side of the gate. A cigarette was hung from his lips, the smoke billowing from it complementing the vapour from his mouth as he spoke.
Though they’d never once had a conversation, only throwing glances at each other whenever he’d pass by, waiting outside your complex rendered them both used to the other by now.
Wait, that’s right, Yu thought. He was the security guard.
‎
“Oh, I was just…” he pocketed his phone, “did you see Y/N this morning?”
‎
He took a drag of his cigarette, before leaning on the black gates.
‎
“Nope. Didn’t leave her apartment since yesterday.”
‎
Yu’s heart dropped, and his face blanched.
This worried him. This really worried him. What happened to you? Were you hurt? Did you even wake up today?! What if you…
‎
“What about the cameras?”
‎
The guard shook his head.
‎
“I– I need–” he caught himself and quickly fixed his collar, “thank you, sir. I’ll go check on her.”
‎
His mind wandered to the worst places as pushed past the gates and climbed up the flight of stairs. The guard himself hadn’t seen you since last night, and your lack of presence from the footage only made him assume the worst of the worst. And before he could assume anything else, his mind shut itself down and resorted to taking action, blocking any thoughts from forming thanks to the adrenaline that overtook his blood.
He rushed to your apartment with a spare key you gave him a while ago, brute forcing his way in as fast as possible.
But all within a picosecond, relief filled him at the sight he managed to take in.
He was beyond grateful to find out you were just in bed. Lying down, unmoving, still like a statue. The only hint of life being the subtle rise and fall of your chest. Not that you overslept, or anything, your eyes were open. You just couldn’t move, for some reason.
‎
You blinked, your eyes adjusting to the void of black that sat a few feet away from you. It took a few minutes to realise it was just the television, turned off, showing you your still reflection. Sitting up, you took a deep yet slow breath, allowing your stiff muscles to finally stretch.
‎
“I’m sorry for acting like this, Yu. I'm sorry you… missed your shift because of me.”
‎
Though you kept your gaze on the television, you still managed to catch his meek reaction, using the large upstanding collars of his hoodie to conceal the lower portion of his face.
‎
“Don’t… worry about it.”
‎
He muttered after a pause. Judging by the blank look on his face, glassy eyes locked on a random spot on the wall, he still seemed… shocked by the whole ordeal. To put it lightly. And with the purple irises, the surprise stuck out even more, his pupils pinpoint like two distant bullets aimed at you.
You brought yourself closer and pulled him into a weak embrace, sighing deeply. To say guilt enfolded you like a whirlwind would be a vast understatement. And you weren’t really sure how to express it, or how to make it up to him.
You knew that, despite how much of his personal life he kept from you, and despite how stiff his voice was, Yu was still emotionally sensitive. Incredibly sensitive, to a degree someone stoic like you wouldn’t be able to understand. And you weren’t sure how not to let something like this happen again, how not to provoke a level of shock you probably hadn’t experienced in a while.
But it only took a few minutes for an idea to pop up in your mind. It wasn’t much, but you’d rather do something.
‎
“Are you visiting your grandmother this month?”
‎
Yu blinked. It took him a few seconds to comprehend that you’d asked him a question, let alone form a response to it. Was he visiting his…
Oh, right.
‎
“I am.” He met your gaze. “Why?”
‎
“Hang on, I have something that’ll cheer you up.”
‎
Yu watched you stand up and disappear into your room, and such a sudden move was successful in dragging him back down to reality. He thought that you were going to take something from your closet, but the unfamiliar sound of the heavy balcony door swinging open promptly slamming shut made him perk up like a curious cat. Was he finally going to see what you kept on the balcony? Satiate the unstoppable force that was his curiosity, perhaps.
The seconds were counted until you finally made your return. And in your hand was something he never would’ve expected. A lemon. Albeit… small. And round. Yu stared at the golden object on your hand, effortlessly reflecting the sunlight off of it, almost as if to show off how pretty it was to Yu.
He stood up and approached, taking it from your hand. His thumb felt it. And judging by the soft texture, a slight tint of orange in its peel, the ever-so subtle squishiness of it; it was perfect. But that wasn't what took priority in his mind.
‎
“Why do– did you, uh, are there lemons on your balcony, Y/N?”
‎
You couldn’t help but smile at his confusion. Either he was extremely excited at that contingency being true, or he was very dumbfounded. Or, you know, both. Which was understandable, somewhat.
‎
“I keep a lemon tree outside. Doesn’t fit here.”
‎
His eyes glimmered, but the rest of his face remained blank. Yu was delighted at this news. In fact, it answered his question as to why there was a leaf still stuck to its pedicel.
‎
“You have… You grow lemons? In here?”‎
‎
“Did you think I only grew houseplants?”
‎
You gestured to the plant from before, and to say he was simply enamoured by this new piece of information would be a vast understatement.
If it were any other person, Yu wouldn’t have believed them. And it’s not like he was to be blamed. When he put it that way, it sounded preposterous. Growing not only lemons in the winter, but in a cramped apartment, no less. How did you achieve such a thing?!
He looked back at the fruit on his hand.
‎
“This one looks… different.”
‎
You took the lemon from him before his unrelenting inspection would tear the fragile skin open.
‎
“It’s a Meyer lemon, Yu. Quite the small tree. Now come on, I’m going to make a pie with this. There's a bunch more out there, help me harvest them.”
‎ ‎
Then, you turned on your heel and moved towards the balcony where you’d just been.
His admiration for you only grew at that sentence. And eagerly, he followed, ready to shamelessly indulge in his lemon addiction. He was excited. So excited, the events that took place an hour ago felt like they never happened at all.
‎
“Meyer lemon?”
‎
He asked as he followed you to your room. Immediately, he glanced at the windows that would give him a view to your balcony, but they were still concealed by your curtains. And out of respect, he never really dared to peer through them even after you gave him permission to.
‎
“You’ll see.”
‎
You moved towards the balcony and opened the door, Yu tugging on his sleeves so that they’d cover his hands before the air would slam against his skin like a brick. Both of you stepped out, the cold hitting him hardly making a dent in how amazed he was at the sight.
To his right was a string of pots containing pretty trees he’d never seen before, The deep green shade of the leaves contrasted beautifully with the vibrant gold of the fruit, hanging from the branches, almost as if they were eager to be plucked and made into some sort of dessert.
‎
“I wanted to surprise you with a lemon pound cake. But that was before… today.”
‎
You mumbled to yourself as you approached what Yu considered to be a work of art. In fact, how casual you were to this sight only increased his respect for you. You grew this, he thought. All behind his back, in a small apartment, alone. How could he not be amazed?!
If this was what you could do with depression, he could only imagine how much you’d achieve if you had motivation.
‎ ‎
“It’s a cross between lemon and mandarin.”
‎ ‎
He eyed you as you plucked one ripe lemon before tossing it over to him. But you immediately regretted it once you realised he was currently in a state of reverie. However, to your surprise, he caught it impressively fast and began observing it all over again, holding back the urge to bite into it. Not that he wasn’t used to the raw taste of lemons.
‎
“I see. So like a… subspecies?”
‎
You couldn’t help but giggle at this sentence. How was that the conclusion he came to? You thought. But to be fair… it was on brand for him.
‎
“I thought lemons were your favourite fruit. How do you not know this?”
‎
The fact that they originated from China as well.
‎
“I never studied lemons. I only purchase what I think will help.”
‎
“Help?”
‎
Before you could utter this simple question, Yu suddenly pulled you into a hug, tightly wrapping his arms around you.
‎
“You’re amazing, Y/N. My grandma will love you even more when I tell her about this.”
‎
You were unwittingly slammed cheek-first into his chest, and the sensation was as pleasant as crashing against a brick wall. Right, Yu probably forgot what kind of figure he had.
‎
“Oh I… Thank you.”
‎
A smile painted your features, and you returned the embrace despite the aching on your cheekbone.
Relief filled you. Sure, you had to show him the surprise early, and you weren’t really satisfied with just showing him the row of trees you planted two winters ago, but after today? You were glad you made it up to him. What mattered was that this cursed day would hopefully end on a good note. And the fact that his grandmother would like you if she learned of this hobby? It stood out.
Hey, maybe things were finally looking up, you thought.

#gallery-0-5 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-5 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-0-5 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-5 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
Cámara: Sensor SuperSpectrum, zoom 5X/10X y sensor ToF
#gallery-0-6 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-6 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-0-6 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-6 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
Ultra gran angular
Gran angular
Zoom híbrido 5X
Zoom óptico 10X
Cámaras ultra gran angular, gran angular y zoom

Fujifilm XF10 a 1/30 seg, f/5,6, ISO 800
Fujifilm XF10 a 1/17 seg, f/4,0, ISO 3200
Fujifilm XF10 a 1/70 seg, f/5,6, ISO 200
Fujifilm XF10 a 1/1350 seg, f/3,6, ISO 200
Fujifilm XF10 a 1/80 seg, f/6,4, ISO 200
Fujifilm XF10 a 1/125 seg, f/2,8, ISO 200
Fujifilm XF10 a 1/125 seg, f/2,8, ISO 200
Fujifilm XF10 a 1/13 seg, f/16, ISO 3200

Fujifilm XF10 a 1/3 seg, f/16, ISO 200
