Cripple punk is by and for the physically disabled. All physically disabled. Including the physically disabled who's physical disabilities are a result of a mental disorder. That is within the rules that founded this community.

That does not mean it is here for the physically abled. The cripple punk community is a place for us to be cripples in peace, free from abled bodied bullshit. Physically abled people do not understand what it is like to be physically disabled, regardless of if they are cognitively disabled. They often times refuse to even try to understand to the best of their ability, any able bodied fuck calling themselves a cripple has not ever made a single fucking attempt. That's the exact sort of asshole this community was built to be free from in the larger disabled community.

Solidarity between crips and the cognitively disabled is a brilliant, beautiful thing. Many able bodied mentally disabled people are wonderful, and I love each and every one of you. But it is not the same thing, and fuck you for acting like we're equal to TERFs for wanting to be physically disabled in peace.

Physically disabled people are allowed our own spaces. Why do you think we are not? If you do not think we are not, why do you think the space built by and for physically disabled people is not by and for the physically disabled?

The founder of this community had a fucking clear ass rule list. You do not get to redefine it. It is EXPLICITLY CLEAR. You DO NOT get to tokenise a cripple who died over their mental illness as a gotcha for why those benefitting from the safe space they made for us are horrible exclusionists. FUCK YOU.
