Some of the colours look bizarre. Fun challenge to only use the mspaint default colours + give each member a unique lineart colour and base colour. Being able to mash a character design down to its essentials while still being recognisable is a slept on power ya know ☝️

I love Sonic/Lancelot as much as the next gal but as a fandom I think we are abusing the prospect of shadow/Arthur (as in like an alt universe version of sonic if you catch my drift). Shadow winds up in Camelot somehow and the real Lancelot has mysteriously disappeared. Arthur decides to trust shadow bcs like. I guess he can just tell if ppl are tbh or not???? (Can you tell I know nothing abt Arthurian legends???) Anyways something something plot plot blah blah blah Arthur ends up falling in love w Shadow bcs he’s very “forward thinking” and idk (I have no clue what to do w Guinevere here can you tell I’m grasping at straws). Anyways shadow kind of does reciprocate feelings but towards sonic because he’s been king of acting on his feelings for sonic via-Arthur and he feels very shitty abt it and. YEAGH. More plot I guess. Weird dilemma stuff I guess that would be scrumptious.

I swear, I am *THIS* close to making my own backrooms related thing and use all the stupid “cringy” lore about entities, items, and extra levels just to piss people off. “Oh it’s strayed so far from the original purpose!” Creepypastas. “Oh stupid kids are adding dumb stuff like -insert an entity, item, or level here!” Creepypasta ocs/original stories that were basically just self-inserts. “The backrooms aren’t scary anymore” Hot take, they weren’t in the first place. 

The backrooms were never scary, even the original post. It wasn’t scary. It read like a creepypasta, something that gave you the heebie jeebies and you moved on. Maybe lowkey thinking about it a couple a times after that. It made you feel a sense of deja vu, like liminal spaces (because that’s what the backrooms DERIVE from, liminal spaces.)

So fucking what if kids have fun with a horror concept? THAT’S WHAT WE (Current 17/18 to about ~22 year olds) DID WITH CREEPYPASTAS! It’s the same bullshit, different generation. Boo hoo, they’re having fun with their lil entities and shit. Who does it hurt? Absolutely no one. It’s a fun concept that people have expanded on because that’s human nature, get over yourself and get over the fact that it’s not something you personally enjoy. Not all internet horror has to cater to your brand of horror. Just like not all fics cater to those you want to read, or all movies cater to your demographic. Read and interact with what you like, move on from the shit you don’t. And don’t shit on people just having f u n
