Hello, everyone!
There's a secret entrance in an old castle that leads to a magical cave full of weird glowing mushrooms and all kinds of magical critters. Your players begin exploring the beautiful caverns, at first glanced amazed by everything they see.
But soon enough some vines ensnare one of them, a giant beast comes out of the shadows to attack and an unseen force tries to bring them to their end.
As you can see, exploring is never easy and it's something the adventurers eventually have to learn.
The creature tokens for this map are a Brain Construct, a Tentacle Mass Abomination and a Vengeful Sorcerer Demon. Emerald tier gets the Brain Construct while Diamond tier gets all three. In addition, Sapphire tier gets extra creature token variants.

A D&D map inspired by the forest sinkholes found in China.
This small cavern formed by this sinkhole's collapse has been colonized by trees and vegetation, sustained by a pond at its deepest point. The pond surges and shrinks with seasonal rains and droughts, over time its runoff has carved a tunnel through weak rock that connects into the network of caves, tunnels, and caverns that form the Underdark. Of course, what also serves as an entrance for adventurers into the Underdark also serves as an exit for its denizens. Raiders from underground civilizations may use this sinkhole to access the surface. The cavern is also a holy place to a cult of Eilastree worshipping drow, viewed as a gift from their goddess to the underground exiles.

wyll is still a human in our coop game and we’ve just rescued florrick. difference in the scene is that she’s very happy to be saved by wyll and you get the duke son reveal. anyway I’m starting to think that wyll is just gonna stay human lmfaoo like when is mizora coming?? 😭 is it because karlach is in another coop team like what is happening besties

As of writing this, this map is one of the most liked and viewed on my website. I think people just love glowing mushrooms, or at least that's what I relate it to.

Day 10, Haunted House
So we skipped day nine due to no inspo in my head for bonfire.
Rating: Fluff. Traumadumping by Minette herself in the end.
There are spoilers for one of the endings here.
Spoilers for Shadowheart’s romance, of course.
Female Drow, Cleric of Kelemvor. Entertainer background.
Slightly betaed if you count me reading it over at 2AM. If not, put on your battle gear.
“This place better not be full of doppelgangers” Minette no longer trusted certain activities after the events of the last circus. Her eyes observed the area cautiously, it was mostly just village folk being happy to spend time with their significant other, with a big house that gave off the ‘haunted’ feeling right in the middle of everything, she did not like how the place looked like it would fall apart.
“We can leave if you feel like it's too off in there.” Shadowheart offered, the sound of Shadowheart's voice calmed Minette, her figure getting less tense.
“Alright, let's see what this house has to offer… we’ve been through the hells. This will be nothing.” Minette reassured herself before intertwining her hand into Shadowheart's.
The two women who were dressed in somewhat casual attire entered the Haunted House. The inside of the house was dimly lit and the floorboards creaked under them, Minette pulled Shadowheart closer to herself.
Shadowheart reassured Minette by rubbing her thumb over Minette’s knuckles. As the two traveled through the house it was mostly amateur tricks and jumpscares, some of them frightened Minette which almost made her instincts take over.
They entered a small dining area, it was covered in fake blood, and fake body limbs scattered along the table, and the red lighting gave it a more sinister look. “You know what this reminds me of?” Minette asked, her voice coming out smaller than usual, Shadowheart knew straight away what the scene reminded her of.
“Cazador’s palace?”
“Yep… I hope the spawn in the Underdark are faring well.” Minette responded, her voice more like a quiet whisper, Shadowheart knew how pissed Minette was when facing Cazador with Astarion. If Astarion's anger didn’t outshine Minette, Minette would’ve started beating a vampire to death. Shadowheart never touched on the subject of why the vampire lord made her see red.
“Do you think Astarion is in the Underdark as well?” Shadowheart asked, slightly dragging Minette out of the dining area. “Last thing I heard, Astarion was in Waterdeep with Gale… Gale is helping him find a way to walk in the sun.”
Minette saw the exit of the Haunted House up ahead. She was ready to get out of there and Shadowheart could tell. Shadowheart looked over at Minette and smiled, Minette knew the look.
Grinning, they rushed towards the exit, dodging scolding patrons. Minette was able to exit the house first, Shadowheart following closely behind.
Both of them giggled as they looked at each other. “Alright, I think it's time we get out of here before the locals report that we were ruining their fun.” Minette smiled, Shadowheart could tell the look in Minette’s eyes was of fear. Something in there scared her, or brought back memories.
Shadowheart didn’t say another word, she just nodded in agreement.

Minette sighed in relief when they entered the comforts of their home, suddenly she felt the weight of a blanket on her. “Come on, let's talk about what you were feeling in there.” Shadowheart’s voice was soothing.
Minette slowly nodded, Shadowheart guided her to the couch and they both sat down. Shadowheart pulled Minette against her chest as she leaned back, her fingers playing with Minette's hair, the fireplace cackling in the background brought a sense of comfort.
“The dining hall brought back some unpleasant memories,” Minette muttered, enjoying the warmth and comfort of her lover. “Was it about the whole nightmare that went down in Cazador's palace?” Shadowheart asked, her voice was a soothing whisper, and she felt Minette nod against her chest.
“Cazador and his cruelty reminded me of someone, my adoptive mother; she worked so hard to get me and my sister to follow the path of Lolth. I never broke, my sister gave in… I wish I was able to do something. My mother… she went to the extreme lengths because I would not worship Lolth.” Minette revealed, going into details, there was a sense of ache and guilt in her voice, it was still hard for her to speak about how she felt since she cut herself away from emotions when she was extremely young.
“You always speak of your adoptive mother… have you ever met your biological parents?” Shadowheart wondered if the drow ever knew her birth parents, hoping she didn’t cross the lines with Minette, the cleric was vulnerable, and Shadowheart did not want to bring any painful memories to light for Minette.
“They died, I think my adoptive mother killed them to get me and my sister,” Minette admitted, Shadowheart nodded, rage plagued Shadowheart’s head about what Minette endured as a child, but she showed it down to comfort her lover; she placed a kiss on Minette's forehead, trying to comfort her lover further. It worked as Minette's body relaxed, sinking deeper into the comforts, realizing it was safe in the arms of her lover.
“If you like, we could venture into the Underdark… see if we can find anything about your biological family.’ Shadowheart offered, she wanted Minette to get her closure, just as Shadowheart got her closure on her parents.
Minette looked up at Shadowheart, she saw the slight tension in her jaw; she knew that Shadowheart had rage going through her head at what Minette’s adoptive mother did. Minette's laugh lines slightly showed as she offered a soft smile, she was so thankful that Kelemvor led her to Shadowheart.
“I’ll think about it.”

see the problem with all of the puzzles in bg3 is like. sometimes the player (me) is stupid. and at least in a real dnd game you might get the dm to take pity on you
#the number of ‘’walkthroughs’’ that i’ve found that don’t actually. help#they tell you the map coordinates or whatever. what about if i cannot physically find what you’re talking about AT THOSE COORDINATES#or cannot figure out how to get to those coordinates (like when i spent three days trying to find karlach)#i’m in hell. actually still having a very hard time getting invested and like. not rly enjoying this game lmao#I AM PLAYING ON EXPLORER MODE AND SOMEONE GOES DOWN IN ALMOST EVERY COMBAT#also just. open world syndrome a little bit#too many quests that apparently i can’t actually move forward in yet. and too much open space#making me feel like. i need to go explore and grind when i just want to finish the quests i already have good lord#idrc about exploring every corner of the map. at this point???#tried going into the mountain pass and it was like ‘hey you’re really low level. reconsider <3’ and im like#literally WHAT is there to do for me here#(it wanted me to go to the underdark. which i figured would progress the story so i was trying to find lae’zel’s crèche while we’re here??)#also on a non gameplay note#inSANE that all of the questlog items for daughter of darkness list her and i having interactions that We Did Not#got to act 2 and she’s like ‘hey i worship shar btw. this is supposed to be a reveal’ but like. the quest log told me that immediately??#was i not supposed to read that?? she never told me that she wanted to join the justiciars. i never gave her the idol.#but it said all of those happened???#maybe i’m biased bc my first save was trying to play as her but it REALLY feels like they’re pushing her to be the main character#like. kinda sucks how she’s the only companion you can check in with and say ‘how do you think we’re doing’#and these fucking controls#why are the items hit boxes so weird. my cursor is a centimeter away and yet it still highlights something#the label isn’t actually next to the thing it’s describing so holding the alt key does nothing to show me where it is#god forbid you try to point at something through an open door#the fucking. camera angles. impossible to see what i’m doing or where i’m going because the trees and walls and shit keep getting in the way#straight up not having a good time#but this was a lot of money and i’ve heard it picks up#when tho#also the fact that i rly like wyll and he’s got like. nothing. id heard he has less content than other origins but#didn’t realize it was to a noticeable extent#maybe it’ll pick up and give him more to talk about once i save his dad. please god

#:outofcash#so I'm guessing it just depends???#I actually misunderstood how the maps worked so I traveled on the mountain pass road and through the underdark#then went into the shadow cursed lands through the underdark#because I got the same 'are you sure you want to progress' screen on the mountain pass#so I didn't realize there was a whole extra area in between#(L.ae'zel was not happy after I re-added her to my team)

Your players can now find a mysterious structure in the forest. With the right spells, the gate in it can be activated to teleport them to a mystical cave where strange creatures abound!
The caves are dangerous, but the rewards are plenty. It's time for them to fight their way through the underground and have an excellent adventure once more!
The creature tokens for this map are a Dark Elf Blademaster, a Flying Eye Demon and a Necroknight. Emerald tier gets the Flying Eye Demon while Diamond tier gets all three. In addition, Sapphire tier gets extra creature token variants.

This large cavern and the exotic ecosystem it contains is a wonderland to naturalists - and a potential nightmare for adventurers. An underground river swells periodically from surface rains, flooding the cavern floor and depositing a thick, nutrient-rich mud as the foundation of the cavern's ecosystem. Three species of enormous mushrooms compete for much of the cavern's space - some specimens measure over ten feet across in diameter, and the air is choked by their spores. Along the river's banks are even more exotic fungi and flora, quite alien in appearance but uniquely adapted for their particular environmental niche.
But what else may call this cavern its home?
