Public Release Link
This ruin was once a remote community tucked away in the hills along the ocean shore, but has long since fallen into disrepair. The locals prefer not to speak of the place, but the corpses burned and hung as a warning to any others that approach. The sad tale of this place may not be of great concern however, as new residents have made use of the place and its disturbing reputation...

This large catamaran could make a suitable vessel for an adventuring party or an encounter as an exploration vessel or merchant. She measures 100 feet in length and 70 feet in width, is modestly armed with two ballistas, and her dual tumblehome hulls and shallow draft result in a stable, comfortable vessel.  Two smaller boats are carried onboard and launched via cranes for shore excursions.
The upper deck hosts a deckhouse which contains the ship's galley, mess, and  officers' wardroom, & captain's quarters. The lower deck in each hull contains cargo holds and sleeping quarters (including private, but spartan, accommodations for junior officers).
Full size PNGs and VTT files are available on my Patreon without watermark, in night/day + grid/gridless variants.

While I mostly use maps I've either found or purchased online while running games, I do also enjoy making bespoke maps for special locations or encounters. Here's my version of Kokiri Village, The Lost Woods, and the Sacred Forest Meadow, all made in Dungeondraft :)

OOC: Castle Noctua
I went ahead and made a map of Duedephelon's castle in DungeonDraft. I will label this if people want. (As well as removing the grid.) Eventually, I will make a gallery for character reference and this sooner or later.
Despite the furniture it is otherwise desolate and most of the library has been stripped of identifying books regarding Phel's family, history, or grimoires. The shelves are now half empty.
Pictures after the break. First and second floor respectively. The larger parts of the second floor are held up by buttresses.

Here's some Dungeondraft maps I made for my homebrew Zelda game!
Riverside Stable
Tumblr media
A semi-recreation of the same location from Breath of the Wild. The wall got fixed not long after. I was still figuring out dungeondraft at this stage so it looks a little shonky. In retrospect, I could've probably drawn this.
Kakariko Village Northwest
Tumblr media
Another recreation of an area in Breath of the Wild. Don't look at the houses too hard, Dungeondraft doesn't like making round roofs. This one has lots of combat potential with a bottleneck, water for the enemies that can't swim, and multi-level elevation from the rocks and rooftops.
Sheikah Elder's Cellar/Shadow Temple
Tumblr media Tumblr media
B1 level and B2 levels for the party's first dungeon, loosely inspired by the layout for Ocarina of Time's Shadow Temple and Below The Well dungeons. If you can't tell, the second map is a straight up boss arena.
Post-Foundry:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Capturing the feel of the games was key to making this work. Dungeondraft can only do so much, so I used a lot of Foundry's lighting engine and some sound design to fill in and bring the atmosphere to where I wanted it to be.

Creature Feature: Taxi Crab
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(PDF)
Of all the beasts of burden used since the first people stepped on Avaritian soil after the Cursing, none have fascinated the minds and hearts of the citizens like the Taxi Crab. These leviathans from the Elemental Plane of Water were domesticated after their mass exodus through the Churn, where once they were bottom feeders feasting on washed up carrion on the shores of the Plane's islands. Docile and quick for their size, the industrious peoples of Avarita first bred them for their incredibly durable shells before their hidden potentials were truly unleashed.
When the first colonies began to spread deeper into the mainland, the pioneers would tie or even glue saddles on the back of Taxi Crabs, using rotting meat on sticks as leads to encourage them to run. Now, Taxi Crabs are bred all over the city as its main form of public transportation, with light metal cabs chemically adhered to the shells of the crab just after molting to ensure cohesion. Their riders, the cabbies of New Avarita, started out as just a handful of Water Genasi and Triton immigrant families who came to Avarita from the Plane of Water or from deep in the Zephyrus Ocean. Using the techniques of leviathan rearing they brought with them, these families eventually grew into the Taxi empire they are today, with over 1,000 registered ranches throughout the city.

Daily Doodle! 1/28/23 Something different today, It's the images I use for my game of MASKS that I run with my friends! They went to the beach today and had to fight a giant crab, as well as an octopus from a few sessions ago that got away.

An Intro
Heya, I'm Juniper Jones!
I'm 37, demigender, and use primarily they/them pronouns. I'm pan, and married, with zero kids (possibly furbabies in the future). I have an alphabet soup of mental health issues, joint hypermobility, and chronic fatigue.
I'm a fantasy writer (OCs only), D&D GM (5e), DW GM, cartographer, permaculture designer, medicinal herbalist, astrology enthusiast, and hedgewitch. I'm not terribly hip about Tumblr, so you'll have to excuse my mess.
My current games/projects are:
Monthly challenges for October
Starcrossed, a modern fantasy romance novel based on some previous work (you'll see posts about it under the tag #starcrossed novella) Currently looking for beta readers!!
Diver Down, a Back to the Future fanfic (on the back burner)
Fenville, an in-person & online D&D game running since 2018
Expedition to Alcanza, an in-person Dungeon World game for some other local friends
a novella about Fenville
assorted cartography for these stories/games
I use Dungeondraft and Wonderdraft for my cartography, and while I'd love to use Scrivener for my writing, I only use Linux. 😅 My search for good software is endless.
My side blog that I’ll be transitioning political and non-writeblr content to is Jun’s Pile of Everything Else. I might start a witchblr sideblog to keep that separate as well, idk.
I'm not terribly fandom conscious, as I've missed out on a lot of popular media, but I'm currently enjoying:
The Witcher novels
Disco Elysium
Ascendance of a Bookworm light novels
Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju (current fav)
Log Horizon
and My Next Life as a Villainess
In non-online life, I exclusively use a bike and public transit to get around my city, and I'm an activist for accessible public transit (among many other leftist causes).
I'd love to be mutuals if:
You have a Discord (DM me for my handle),
You're a writer looking to collaborate, beta read for one another, or just to share work,
You're an artist interested in drawing my characters, or collaborating on a light novel,
You want to ask me anything,
You like my stuff and I like yours!
Updated 9/26/22: Removed AO3 link until I can figure out what to do with that first draft. Added a link to the challenges for October & November. Added a link to the sideblog. Updated 8/24/22 with the link to Starcrossed on AO3!

Appropriately enough for the recent HMS Terror posts that I've reblogged, I've spent the past few weeks slowly completing this map of the ill-fated ship. HMS Terror is underway through a sea of ice and slush, exploring the distant periphery of the known world. What dangers may her crew encounter?
Grid variants of the top two layers (overhead view and upper deck) are available for free on my Patreon in Roll20's preferred 70 DPI resolution. Subscribers have access to the full map (four decks + overhead view) in day/night + grid/gridless variants in PNG and VTT formats.
