Writing Positivity Tag!!!
Wasn't tagged, but again saw this game and loved it.
What do you take pride in with your own writing?
Hmmm... probably the plots. Because I really like the ideas and concepts I come up with. I mean, the Bruce Wayne writes fanfic au? I'm still blown away by it.
Did you have any big inspirations from another writeblr? Who and how?
Ughhhhhh. I have so many. But the biggest ones? @cygnusdoesthings because of her, i'm still writing right now. Cuz the comments she put on My School’s Local Mafia Boss and then the recordings was what made me really, truly, well and fully realize that there were actual people who were saying all those stuff behind the comments. And also she has helped me a whole lot through so much.
@tristicorde cuz i go to her every time i feel low about my writing or about posting something and she always - always - knows the right things to say. Thats because the things she says are just facts. Not reassurances made up for the sole purpose of reassuring, but facts that reassure me. Also, her descriptive style of writing is something i strive to achieve 😭
@wakkoroni It's because of Vibes that I have as many crackfics as i do now (wips and posted). We have such a time and vibe just spouting out shitposts to each other in conversations, as well as incorrect quotes and hypotheses and hcs about the batfam, it is impossible to spend even 5 minutes with her and not get inspired to write or create something.
@sardonic-sprite because the first real fic i wrote (Ya Dun Fucked Up) was inspired by her Harbor. Her fics are the ultimate comfort, the ultimate hurt, the ultimate angst, the ultimate crack, and the ultimate family bonding. If you don't at least appreciate them, you don't appreciate anything.
That was a long answer. Anyways, moving on!
(oh, special mention @uncertainwallflower cuz she helped me get past a very incredibly super-awful severe case of writer's block once)
What are you most proud of in your current WIP?
LMAO. WHICH WIP? 🤣
K the main one i'm focusing on rn is the tim gets kidnapped fic co-written with Vibey. And two things i'm most proud of in there are:
a) how well mine and vibey's ideas just meld into each other
b) the sheer amount of angst sprinkled throughout the fic. It's awesome. I love it.
What is your idea of a perfect day of writing?
Uhhh. I have chocolate milk or boba. I'm sitting at my desk instead of the beanbag cuz the desk is actually clear for once. I'm hyperfocusing as i write and don't notice the time pass by and don't have any pressuring due dates for school and everyone at home is sleeping and the sun is sending its rays through my window and shining on my hair making it go the cool brown color i love as i'm tip-tapping away at my computer.
It happened once. I was writing the angstiest thing i had ever written at the time and was shaking. It was glorious.
What’s your big goal with writing?
That I never treat it like a chore. Ig thats more of a wish than a goal.
Then ig a goal would be to make it mean as much to someone else as it does to me. Or for people to just have a blast and let go of their worries and take a break as they read my stuff.
But the goal that will never leave is to improve. I take one thing and work on it one by one until it's to my satisfaction. Currently, i'm working on describing settings.

Rules: turn some lines of dialogue from your own WIP into an incorrect quote that the person you tagged can insert their characters into. (original concept by @olive-riggzey)

(Aldis and Henry have a similar exchange in canon but this seems more like it would be Ieuan's voice. If Aldis and Henry tried to share a braincell like this it would end... uhhh... badly...)

I've watched 12 Angry Men — my first, and as of yet only, black and white movie.
I've read Freakonomics in its entirety thanks to it. I was so obsessed with the book I even read it on my phone in a very user unfriendly way because I still don't know what app works with archive.org.
For an assignment, I borrowed What You Must Think of Me: A Firsthand Account of One Teenager's Experience with Social Anxiety Disorder. It's actually not that long or boring. Unlike what books my classmates chose.

When did you create your blog?: This blog? Uhh... I think it was around the middle / beginning of 2020? My first ever blog was all the way back in 2016 though!

What made you decide to get a Tumblr?: I couldn’t tell you. I can tell you all about the story about how the FN.aF fandom got me into the RP scene but I’m not sure what prompted me to move to tumblr since it was so, so long ago. I guess I decided to just do it! Made some friends along the way, most of which are gone now, but... hey ho, I’m here now.
Do you get asks on a daily basis?: Somewhat? I tend to reach out to a lotta people and reblog a fair amount of memes, I just don’t get too much unprompted stuff which sucks. It’s always a pleasant surprise when someone is invested enough in my muses to send little questions, and I really wish it happened more!
Now, as for actually answering those asks...... uh, this question is over--!
Why did you choose your URL?: It’s kinda the theme of my story and the muses, at least it was back when it was just Alex, Yeong-Hui and Garis, but it still kinda fits. The whole idea is that their story and experiences are reflective of the way people from totally different backgrounds and with totally different life experiences can find unexpected solace in the little common ground they have with one another, and conversely how people who go through the exact same situations can turn out so, so differently. The prime cases of this are of course with Alex & Garis with what they each went through and how their relationship blossomed, but not it’s extended even further with Theo’s backstory situation, and Souji being a bit of an outlier to the entire thing yet still being everyone’s friend, more or less!
That, and I really can’t think of a better URL. I’m not going back to something like hearts-of-coal, but spectrumbound was pretty good... ah, well.

People: oh??????maybe the orange side is Logan?????
Me, who made theories on how Logan is most likely to become a dark side because people actually listen to the dark sides (and we can really see this through Virgil's arch. He was listened to most during the beginning because he was a dark side, he was seen as evil and they believed he was scary, we can also see how much Janus is listened to in general or the fact that everyone literally has difficulty not listening listening Remus), therefore how little people notice him or listen to him can lead to him recognizing that fact.
Just a bonus I feel needs to be mentioned; each dark side has a specific something that helps make sure they're heard:
-Virgil's voice can duplicate and become louder
-Janus can force others to be quiet
-and Remus can- from what I believe happened in the start of DWIT -talk either into people's minds or basically make it sound like he's whispering these thoughts into his ear (either one of those works, I'm not fully sure what happened in that scene).
Logan could envy these. He could wish he had something to make himself louder, to finally make himself heard.
An alternate theory I have is maybe Logan already had these. Maybe he was already a dark side. Maybe he hasn't shown these because he doesn't want to remember that. He doesn't want to be evil again. Maybe he might've been hated even like most dark sides, who knows! Maybe he's just repressing all of that out of bad memories and his fear of that being repeated.
I feel like we should also take a moment to remember what has already happened before. Though not as much as this time, he has in fact snapped before. Him throwing the paper at Roman is a great example, and just look at how he felt after! He apologized, said he didn't know what it was, and instantly said he should leave. It could've been out of panic because he just watched himself go back to how he was before for a few seconds!
Or maybe none of this is true and him feeling ignored and sad made him vulnerable for the real orange side to influence him.
What I'm saying is, I think about this too much and the dark sides need a tired smart boi.

So uhhh
I was zoning out and accidentally thought of an entire God damn Deltarune route.
No clue how I thought about this.
To activate this route, you have to find every hidden berry bush around the game. You could pick the berries and add them to your inventory/key items. You can't get rid of the berries.
The berries description just says "Food. Finally."
You have an option to use the berries when looking at them in your inventory, but if you try to, all it says is "You aren't hungry."
Eventually, you get the option of who to explore with. Choose your favorite to spend more time with them!
-Ralsei
-Susie
-Noelle
-Spamton (...for some reason?)
-Queen
-Berdley
If you chose anyone other than Ralsei, you occasionally chat, but there's no enemies, nothing. They start complaining about how hungry they are. They ask if you have food. You have 3 options
- "No."
- Hand over the berries.
- "We'll find better food."
"No."
If you chose this option, they'll slowly collapse due to starvation.
Hand over the berries.
If you hand over the berries, they'll eat them. Slowly, as you walk, they start to stumble more and more, before being poisoned and falling over, dead.
"We'll find better food."
This leads to them realizing you have berries. This will activate a fight.
If you choose to spare them, they'll get Kris to 1 hp, ending the fight and taking the berries, before running away. You later see them dead on the floor.
If you fight them, you kill them.
If you chose Berdley, both Noelle and Queen will ask where he is. Queen will sound slightly glad he's not nearby.
If you chose Queen, Berdly will ask where she is.
If you chose Spamton, Susie will say a "didn't someone go with you?". The only option is no.
If you chose Noelle, Susie will frantically ask where she is, worried and scared.
If you chose Susie, Ralsei will ask where she is as Noelle panics.
If you chose Ralsei, he doesn't comment on being hungry.
Kris asks if Ralsei is hungry.
Ralsei doesn't answer, all he says is
"Life is fragile, Kris."
There's a long moment of dead silence, before Ralsei talks again.
"Tell me, Kris. If I said yes, would you have poisoned me?"
The options are
- "No."
- "Why would I?"
- "Yes."
"No."
Ralsei responds with "Really?"
You get to choose again.
"Why would I?"
Ralsei responds with "Why wouldn't you? Just answer, please."
You get to choose again.
"Yes."
Ralsei responds with "Oh. Alright." And you continue walking, not bringing it up again.
Ralsei survives. Ralsei is the only person you can choose who will survive.
This route is called the Hunger Route.

-oblivious as FUCK
-Virgil took a bit to get comfortable and open up with everyone, being comfortable with Roman last, but eventually was the most comfortable with Roman
-they 100% cuddled before even dating they just cuddled and went "yea were just Bros y know" and then later Realized
-people got so annoyed with how oblivious they are they just like,,,,,,,,occasionally purposefully left them alone together often
-ik a lot of people like the "Roman confessed first" concept but imaging Virgil stuttering and confessing and then Roman just interrupts him and kisses him its less of a headcannon more of a concept I think is important and needs to be appreciated

1. Why did you choose your URL? - cheshire has been my kind of internet identity for a very long time, and then i just decided to lean into the whole wonderland theme when i got tired of my old username.
