woke up in a cold sweat after dreaming that rcg became infinitely more cringe

#i don't remember exactly what their new thing was but i wouldn't describe it if i could #but it was just shameless and lazy and out of touch and yet still a cash grab #and my parents (mom mainly) somehow knew and disapproved?? i think that was in the mix bc you can't just have interests or like things in #this house your things are either gonna get shat on often and profusely or only sometimes #if one parent doesn't hate what you love the other one is gonna #i'm tired of explaining and apologizing for being myself all the time because these people refuse to be open and accept who their #own fucking children are lol #and it's tiring to live under scrutiny and social media already provides me (and us) with scrutiny and i'm already sensitive to it #because my parents couldn't be normal about me 🙄 and then there are men and capitalism out there and that's scary..#and it's scary that so many people unabashedly chase money or fame or whatever and put on masks and btw an influencer is a #type of horror creature #anyway that's all whatever‚ it also scares me that it's possible to hurt yourself through parasociality gysgxy and that loving anything #that someone else made comes with uhh implications. it shouldn't (i should allow myself to exist) but it does for me #and this was all wrapped in a nice little shit bundle of awkwardness and pity and regret and i did not like this dream #kata.txt

Spider-Man vol 2 issue. 31ish idk bc ok. the queen arc *was* weird and the insect gene was. super wron #BUT. i am not immune to the slow transformation into a spider creature ok #for jaime. i am. actually not the biggest fan of the Big Spider-Man eyes look for his mask #on accounts that. i really like how his og 2006 design just looks like a fucked up face #so the idea here is. what if the big eyes were real-or well. kind of. not real like how my au robbie has blue beetle-esque eyes always #but more real than just lenses over his eyes. some biotech organic robotic nonsense for. idk reasons #smth the compound effect widens his field of view and lets khaji Da overlay multiple HUD types in combat or. something #(<*jaime* critically did not know it was more than a funky redesign until his eye almost got gouged out. hes having a time always)#and Robbie's doodle is just him riding *right* on the edge of becoming the rider #tbh my og look was his eyes literally melting out of his sockets as he burned but like.#not super happy with the look so i did a version without it also #if this ends up posting twice no it didnt

Oops ANT got molded :[ don't worry, they're ok! This is for the icing sugar fungus prompt.

Tox/The Moldy (it/its, ze/zir), for the final magic mushroom prompt. I chose to interpret it as a free space, so this guy is based on moldy dwarf bulborbs from Pikmin 4 :D Also Tox is responsible for ANT being toxified lol

Also funguary has been SO MUCH FUN and it's the first art month thing I've managed to complete! (even though i skipped some prompts)

I often wonder what films Herbert and Dan would like

#have been attempting to make a self-tape for this audition for DAYS #after a whole helluva lotta bullshit having to do with hunting down a time+space+camera to film with i Finally managed to get some takes #then some weird bullshit with the camera's sd card happened where i wasnt able to pull the files off onto my laptop #FINALLY able to copy the files to my laptop. I decided to read some on Romani folklore. And I must say, they vampires are... interesting.

I'm sorry I took forever to get to this I kept forgetting.

“Mullo is an undead Romani folklore, whether it is a vampire if the spirit of an undead person. "Mullo" means "dead, corpse" in Romani language. It is generally believed that Mullo is undead returning from the grave to drink the blood of the living. Its victims, as a rule, are people the Mullo blames for its death (especially relatives) or who stole his property instead of destroying it after his burial according to Romani tradition. Mullo also returns and revenges persons who did not respect his burial rituals. Female Mullo may return from the grave and even marry but will exhaust male partners. There are a number of tales of Romani vampires having huge sexual appetite. To have sexual intercourse is one of the most often causes of Mullo returning to the living. The lust of Mullo can be so insatiable that it drives women (or men) to sheer exhaustion."

I also want to add (because I did look up Mullo)

1) Mullo seems to either be plural or masculine (A lot of sites say male is "Mulo" with one L, though), and Muli is female.

2) They're usually cause when a person dies of sudden "unnatural" causes and/or not having proper funeral rites.

3) They're described as wearing white clothes and having hair that reached their feet, and a physical oddity that varies depending on the region (Mathew Bunson's Vampire Encyclopedia says, "It can be something as simples as a missing digit on the pinky finger, to obvious animal-like limbs, to flaming red hair")

4) Apparently Mullo aren't exclusively humans? And plants and animals can also be vampires. (This is also from Bunson's Vampire Encyclopedia)

Anyway do you think Max was told stories about Mullo and now he fears his family will come back as vampires looking to kill him because they both died in unnatural ways and never got a proper burial?

if i can get thru most of act 2 (its only 5 main quests) today thatll be really good for the me community that is so scared and terrified. but also i really think i will def surpass 130 pages today w how long each mission gets story content wise. i stay brave tho ok i promise
