Heya! Just letting you know, I'm the person who holds the url @strongorcbutch... which is just a filler URL I picked up one day on impulse (I think there was a meme about it?). While I am butch, arguably strong, and do enjoy orcs, I think that blog is getting confused with another blog that actually isn't empty and posts trans related content! one thing that feels like it's changed about Tumblr and how folks interact with posts over the years is how many times they're willing to reblog a post
i feel like i remember reblogging the same post [not even a different version] easily 3-5 times if not more as it cycled around my mutuals blogs. it wouldn't have been a back to back thing but spread out over at least a few posts. it was okay to do, and it sometimes got posts shown to followers of your blog that didn't happen to scroll back far enough to see the last time you posted that
these days, i feel like i only see this happening after seeing a new version [new things were added or you see a diff rb chain] of a post or with those [specific day] posts [October 3rd, 4/13, out of touch Thursday, etc]. and the posts like that get an absolutely wild rb to likes ratio because you can only like a post once but rb it as much as you want without killing the non-existent algo
tl;dr reblogging a post 5 times in a month is good for everyone so do it more often plz n ty

heyy, I saw you rb a post about ocs and was wondering if you wanted to share about them possibly? I love hearing about people's ocs, but if not that's totally cool!
ogbbhh sure!! ill put a readmore so it doesnt fuck up anyones dash lmao
basically the ss taresh-kar is a vulcan science academy ship and they go from planet to planet researching things (usually checking if some planets are good to be terraformed or checking planetary anomalies)
this is the crew i have for now:
- Michael Miriam: human, transgener and jewish, works as the ships repairman. has a power rangers holodeck program w his beautiful wife salem (hes the red ranger btw ofc)
- Jaris Kahn: joined trill, yes kahn as in lenara kahn i didnt feel like making a new symbiont name, has trill autism, doctorate in xenobiology, bug enthusiast and fanfiction writer. works in missions w animals and bugs bc they always warm up to him for some reason
- Salem: vulcan, transgener and space jewish. married to mike. especializes in anomalies. kind of a rebellious vulcan, drawing inspiration from the human punk movement (if anyone fights her abt jt she goes "i find your aversion to my choice of clothing illogical". queen) she also plays the blue ranger in her and miriams holoprogram
- Arastrata: from a planet i havent named yet, and a species i also havent named yet. his planet is getting things ready to join the federation, and he, as the current head of states son, was sent to study at the vsa as kind of a peace token or smth. he specializes in mathematics and star charting bc his planets culture are centered around those things. has to wear mobility aids bc his body is adjusted to lighter gravity. i rlly should name his planet
- K'dal: klingon, intersex. typical klingon Qapla'! warrior trope but shes in sciences. uses any pronouns bc hasnt reached what i call the "age of choosing" (basically like klingon intersex folks can pick what to be called as once theyve reached a certain age at least thats my awesome hc). has a bunch of scars that he says he got in epic battles and stuff but it was actually for shit reasons like falling and hitting her head as a baby. loves luzia more than anything
- Luzia: castro type android. made by a brazilian engineer. she has the physical appearance of an 8 year old bc the planet she was built in didnt have many resources. has goofy features like if you keep her at a cool temperature and snap any part od her body her eyes start glowing like a glowstick. but shes also nore fragile than soong type androids, unable to carry heavy things and cant stand too much pressure. she has gravity controls tho and can adapt to every planet/planetoid w lighter atmosphere than Qo'noS (anything else is too heavy for her and she might break)
- Toni: vulcan cringefail man raised on earth. tries to act tough bc hes a vulcan and shit but he always fails. straight up crybaby i love him
there are more bc i also made a crew for the cargo ship that delivers their cargo and a starfleet ship that often crosses path w the taresh-kar, but ive procrastinated answering this ask for long enough so! ty for asking

some good news for the tunglr void - i am starting treatment for rheumatoid & have a consult for ADHD meds this coming tuesday! that being said, i have gone to 6 out of 8 major appointments this week. needless to say, i am exhausted since i have been having 20 hr days at points. ask replies will be... soon, hopefully. ty for the folks that sent stuff in today!! it made a wonderful day even brighter. i will rb some more memes tonight 😈 please torment my muses appropriately!

this might be a long shot but are there any southern hemisphere based discord servers for writers (and/or would anybody be interested in creating one)?
i’m in a few writeblr servers and they’re all wonderful, but since a lot of the actual writing takes place during times that aren’t ideal for folks in my timezone it would be great to find some aussie/other southern hemisphere folks to connect with (especially with nano coming up).

Can I ask more about the no mogai sexuality rule? I use a lot of mogai genders but didnt really realize there were sexualities. I guess the normal ones like abrosexual, cupiossxual, and a lot of aspec identities show up but i never considered them mogai? Can you explain the rule more?
Really, any MOGAI sexuality is...useless, unneeded, sometimes harmful, saying how you’re attracted to somebody and not who you’re attracted to, or fancy way of saying other sexualities. Things like that!
In a simple way, anything that isn’t lesbian, gay, bi/pan, asexual, aromantic, gray-aro, gray-ace, aceflux, and aroflux is considered MOGAI.
As abrosexual and cupio- as examples...Abrosexuality is literally just bi/pan, your preferences just change! Which I’ve heard from bi folks that that’s actually quite normal!
Cupio- is...well, there’s a reason why someone wants a sexual/romantic relationship. (Spoiler: The person is actually feeling attraction, and that’s perfectly fine! Just means you were either confused or gray-aro/ace or aro/aceflux!)
I’ll add a harmful one as well, which would be something like Dreadromantic/Dreadsexual. Which the definition is literally, “When attraction is felt, it is accompanied by a strong feeling of dread or anxiety.” which is...trauma. That’s trauma. And that! Isn’t! Healthy! And it’s a MOGAI identity because apparently the MOGAI community hates it when you call it out, and will tell someone their fine when in reality they need fucking therapy!
