Guys there’s a Volturi inspired band that’s quite successful and really, really good - I’m not even kidding. You’ve got to check out Volturian. They describe themselves on their instagram as an “Italian vampire metal band” and their band pics are parallel to New Moon & Breaking Dawn photo shoots. The music is brilliant and you’ll like it even if you don’t like metal

to all in the twilight fandom that think midnight sun did rosalie hale’s character dirty; a tumblr essay

this essay shows the reasons as to why rosalie hale is NOT misunderstood by those who dislike her and why she’s actual vampire garbage. to serve this purpose, i have compiled a list of some of the shit rosalie pulled in the original twilight saga and the things we’ve found out in midnight sun.

disclaimer: i’m aware of rosalie’s backstory and although that’s absolutely tragic, heartbreaking, and infuriating and i’m truly glad she took revenge on her assaulters, it’s still no excuse to treat others the way she does.

1. she was pro personally ripping resume / demon child from bella’s body because she wanted to have it as her own.

2. she dislikes bella because she’s a human who has her own opinions on vampirism and her own future and makes her own decisions, opinions that differ from her own. mind you, rosalie is almost a century old and blames an 18-year-old for all the things she’s not able to do. the 18-year-old doesn’t owe her anything, and especially not with all the shit rosalie did to her.

3. she dislikes edward because he’s never felt any form of attraction towards and didn’t worship the ground she walked on like other men do in her vampire form and did in her human days.

4. in addition to the previous point: she wants to kill edward’s mate in the name of “protecting the family”, but a good majority of her actual reasoning is that she’s jealous about edward liking "an ordinary human” and not her goddess self. (do not fight me on this one, since this is literally confirmed in midnight sun)

5. she ratted on the reason alice went back to forks to edward knowing damn well bella’s death would send him straight to the volturi to k*ll himself.

6. she’s hated being a vampire from the second her transformation ended (the only thing she liked being the fact that she’s even more beautiful now) but then demands carlisle to doom emmett with the same faith she despises because he looked like a child she knew in her human days.

in conclusion, rosalie was NOT done dirty by smeyer. if rosalie would have experienced positive character development WITHOUT the demon child “forcing” that narrative (because let’s be honest: that would’ve been a character arc we all could have stanned) i wouldn’t be making this post. y’all need to stop romanticing traumatized characters whose shitty behavior has nothing to do with their trauma.
