My gut feels like it’s being twisted by human hands every time I think of him. His beautiful eyes and even more beautiful hair. The way he gets emotional over the sound of music, his optimistic out look on life, his everything. Leaving for Paris was the best and the worst thing we could have done. Maybe we could have grown old together. Maybe we could have become famous together. Who know, but either way, I miss him. Oh how I miss him.

Ah, I am sleepy, and just a little tipsy and now I am sad... I closed my eyes for a moment and could almost feel the phantom brush of cold lips on my forehead, Lestat’s hair brushing against my face before leaving for his nightly exploits. As I prepare to lay down far too early as I fix my sleep schedule I can’t help but flex my hand, thinking of Claudia’s delicate fingers weaving together with mine and leading me to my coffin just a little early so we could cuddle.
I ache for my loved ones deeply right now.

One of the more random and somewhat obtuse additions to the Super Bowl advertising library is this case of appropriation for Burger King. There is little more to this than an art icon chowing down the brand’s core product in his own and at his own pace.
The allure is that it is who it is, and that nothing about is overtly fake. The idea that this singular food item could be enjoyed by someone as kitsch and as revered can give pause. But then again, maybe you can consider that this is somehow also wierdly becomes a win for Warhol’s artistic vision and thoughts on American culture - that him devouring a branded burger way back when, as part of a film piece, is now being used to sell in the content age.
Or I am just reading too much into this. It is just a Burger King spot after all.

Motley Crue: a friend was writing a 300-chapter GNR fic where Crue were the villains and I had no idea who they were or what they looked like
Rolling Stones: always kind of liked the Stones, but I didn't really get into them until last Christmas, when a friend gave me a compilation of their greatest hits (it's arguably now one of my favourite CDs)
Rush: the late, great sodium_amytal (or @/farewelltokings, as I knew her, also she's not dead, just deactivated her tumblr) changed fandoms and stopped writing for Led Zeppelin and began writing for Rush and I wasn't ready to stop reading her work yet, so I gave them a go and got hooked
Buddy Holly/Tom Lehrer: this is 1000% on @milkpond. I've now got two Buddy records and Tom's entire discography on CD (actually wearing my Tom shirt rn)
Tuff: I think this was @six-shot-heart-attack (if it wasn't, I'm sorry I didn't give credit, but all y'all music blogs change your themes so often, I lose track). Whoever it was sent me a pic of Stevie Rachelle and he was too pretty not to look into. Bada bing bada boom, now I've got everything Tuff ever released, all autographed
Queen: collectively, all of tumblr shortly after BoRhap came out got me into Queen
