so, i put together a prompt list for femslash february all from works by various queer, woman-loving artists, but then i got insecure about it and didn’t post it, and THEN miss chapman’s grammy performance happened and destroyed my brain. so i rehauled that original post idea and now we have this!

it's kinda funny to me how the white guy gets praised for not changing the pronouns in fast car. but like, what that amounts to is just calling himself a checkout girl, right? like that's fine but usually when people are like oh no someone changed the pronouns, they're talking about a 'santa buddy' type situation of changing pronouns to no-homo. but obviously a straight guy wouldn't need to do that with fast car even if it had more pronouns in it cause it's, yknow, gay
(also if you wanna be technical, "girl" isn't a pronoun, so not changing the pronouns just means "i" and "you" are the same, and he still has a he/him father and she/her mother which. ok?)
