GRACE TOUR DIARY: March 25th 2025 - Los Angeles
Tumblr media
It was nice to spend the money not having to rush. Grace was currently lounging in her bed in her suite, on one of the floors of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. She could already hear Sejin on the phone, hear the bustle of make-up artists and hair stylists clearing up the stations from the past few days. Her suite had become ‘Queen HQ,’ having taken on another Queen name like her team had - here talks were done about interviews, schedules checked, last-minute costume checks and the like.
But after tonight, she would be heading on a private plane and heading to Chicago. More interviews, photoshoots, meeting some important people, her concert and then she was off to New York. It was a whirlwind of noise and lack of time - how everything was scheduled to the last minute, trying to cram as much in as possible without overdoing it.
So far, each concert had been met with amazing reviews apart from the good few who were claiming she was nothing without BTS and just another singer who thought they could pull it off. Her numbers so far were totalling 66,000 if everyone attended tonight’s concert.
She had also seen the guest list for the VIPs tonight - Beyonce being one of them which made her stomach twist with nerves. One of the biggest artists of all time was coming to see her. The Kardashians were also in attendance, Harry Styles and the list went even longer than that.
With a deep sigh, Grace threw back the covers and went to take her shower.
The set list ran through her head, her body doing the dance moves but smaller in the shower and she was singing along to 7 Rings as she got dressed, twisting her wet hair into a messy bun for it to be dealt with later. Her mind then went to Chicago, then New York and then she would fly back to Seoul for another important performance.
If any solo career had looked simple, Grace’s had looked complicated.
Everything planned and prepared in secret, from early 2023 right through to her birthday last year when the album had been announced, her tour announcement, the mini album and then her first tour date. Yet in between all that, she was meeting designers, doing interviews to be released later on, making plans for later on.
Always later on.
Never once interfering with her boys’ plans.
That had been the major rule: whatever the boys wanted to do, it was going to come first.
She had been there for nearly all of it and she had seen all the good and the bad, she had seen what worked and what kind of didn’t. She had been behind the scenes of all of Jungkook’s GOLDEN album and his promotion for it. And by the time she had been ready to put her own on display, she had a very good idea of what she knew what was going to work.
Interviews in England, rather than America as they could wait till her tour, focus on Europe as well as Australia and New Zealand even though her tour wouldn’t be going there mainly due to time.
And cross fingers, her solo career had been somewhat of an success.
“Morning,” she said as she went into the dining area of the suite and flicked the kettle on.
“Morning,” various voices came back to her.
“Grace, what do you think about doing a pre-recorded performance for iHeart Radio Awards?” Sejin asked, flicking through some paper while typing something on his laptop.
“Do we have time for that?” she asked, adding two sugars to her tea and a good splash of milk. “When is it?”
“Award show is on the 27th but it could be recorded while we’re in Los Angeles, we just delay heading to Chicago until the filming is done. The Grammy Museum have given us permission to use their rooftop venue as well,” Sejin read from the email and glanced over.
Grace paused. She knew it would be a good opportunity and she knew it wouldn’t have been asked of her to do it if they didn’t think it she could do it yet they only had a day to do it, even that.
“Is it my songs or BTS?”
“They want you do 7 Rings and then Butter,” Sejin replied.
Another pause.
“Okay, let’s do it. See if we mix the two so they can flow together - I’ll use one of the tour costumes that we haven’t used yet for the show and we just need seven dancers so see if anyone is up for doing this, the rest and the rest of the time can fly out to Chicago to get started on rehearsals. Interviews and everything else, well let’s see what time we can get out of L.A.”
She must have been mad.
By the time she got the concert venue, her mind had switched off to what else was going on and focused on the concert ahead of her. BTS and TXT songs were playing around the arena and outside where people were already waiting, hoping to catch a glance of celebrities.
A quick change into her gym clothes, Grace made her way to where they had set up a small gym area with a BANGTAN BOMB camera following her. She had a quick laugh with the camerawoman before the filming started. “So, you want to know my tips for how I can sing and dance and run all at the same time?” Grace grinned at the camera, which ‘nodded.’
“Here’s is the secret technique - pick a song that’s really going to make you sing and then get on the treadmill,” Grace said as she flicked through the music choices on her phone that was connected to the speakers. Outro: Ego started as Grace set the treadmil to a slow walk then just as Hobi started, she had broken out into a jog.
It was quite impressive to watch her sing along, all the while building up her speed until it got to the chorus where she started doing the choreography albeit not to the full extent as she was stuck on the treadmil.
They still had a few hours left until the concert so a run through was planned, to go over niggles from the night before which was mostly blocking and making the volume loud enough for everyones in-ears.
By the time they were done and back stage getting changed, Staples Centre was open and filling up.
“Los Angeles night two - let’s go out there and show Queen B that she is amazing and we love her,” Grace said as she was surrounded by her dancers who all laughed. “Okay, just half joking. BANG,” she left it off as her dancers followed with “TAN” as they lifted their hands.
Nothing, absolutely nothing could replace hearing the crowd lose their absolute shit as the VCR played and the beginning beats of 7 Ring. Her female dancers glanced at each other then her, grinning and nodding their heads before they were lifted up.
SO MANY ARMY BOMBS!
Even in the VIP area, she could see them and it lit up the whole crowd as the colours changed to the beat. They were constantly out, even when VCR’s played so they could do costume changes and the cheers never stopped. Neither did the singing.
“Los Angeles, it’s been an absolute pleasure to be with you tonight,” Grace started out on the main stage, dressing in her outro gear to finish up the concert. “Thank you for being an amazing crowd, you’ve certainly outdid yourselves from last night. If you could put down your ARMY bombs for second,” Grace paused and watched with a fond smile as every single one dropped out of sight.
“How many of you out there are BTS fans?”
The whole crowd lit up again, screams were heard and then the screaming got louder the moment Dimple was played. Three male dancers joined her on stage, dressed similar to what the boys had worn and even though she was singing in Korean, she swore she could hear the crowd singing along.
By the time she got to Dangerous Woman, got to thank everyone and bow to the crowd, the screams had not stopped. They were still going as she climbed down the few steps off the stage, Sejin there with a bottle of water.
And he did something he rarely did.
He hugged her.
“I’m very proud of you,” he said as he let her go to wrap the dressing gown around her shoulders tightly. “We all are.”
It took awhile to get back to her hotel after removing her costumes, make up and washing her hair and then getting through the traffic. The moment she got through her hotel door, staff had left her lamps on for her and on the coffee table was a large bouquet of pink roses.
‘I’ll be seeing you soon
Jinnie x’

This is an opinion piece. Many will not agree with me, so I have laid out some facts. Scooter’s wife divorces him and his biggest clients leave him by the end of 2022. As if the pandemic wasn’t hard enough, hey Scooter? Karma?
2017
-On May 21, 2017, BTS won the Billboard award for Top Social Artist, beating out Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, and Shawn Mendes. Beiber and Grande at that time were both signed to Scooter Braun’s agency. Everyone took notice.
Except Justin that is, lol.
2018
-Here he is in August 26, 2018 answering fans questions about Jungkook and BTS. He had listened to one song - FIRE.
https://youtu.be/aDHRFWrM08g?si=_0ql84of_Z6R1lVw
2020
-Jan 14, 2020 Justin announces he has been diagnosed with Lyme Disease

-July 23, 2020 Justin announces tour dates - previously delayed because of Covid pandemic

2021
-April 13, 2021 The Redemption of Justin Bieber. Justin has struggled. With addiction, depression, anxiety and the law. He has been isolated from his peers and elevated to celebrity superstar status before reaching adulthood. In the western world that’s a recipe for disaster. Whether you like his music or not, there’s no denying Justin Bieber has talent. The numbers speak for themselves.

https://toronto.citynews.ca/2021/05/06/justin-bieber-postpones-canadian-summer-tour-dates-until-2022/
-April 2, 2021 Scooter sells Ithaca Holdings to Hybe.
https://www.reuters.com/article/hybe-ma-ithaca-idUSL4N2LV13C
(Interesting that 11 days later that month the redemption of Justin Bieber article in GQ is published)
-And a month later, June 25, 2021, Scooter flies to South Korea to meet his new company, the vast potential of new, polite, trainees, various established groups under the Hybe umbrella and world superstars, the BTS members. I have to sigh here, the author of this article can’t even be bothered to include each member’s name. Just a general Scooter says “they’re great”. Because he couldn’t care less? He had his wonder boy Justin, and potentially a whole new generation of talented people to work with should the need arise in the future. I believe the members of BTS individually or as a group weren’t his priority at the time. I remember that period when fans were asking if a collaboration with Justin Bieber would be possible in the future. BTS handled these questions very delicately.

And during the epidemic, all is quiet except for the BTS members who work continuously through this period, appearing virtually on several shows aimed at the western audience.

Everything I have ever read about Scooter, I don’t respect him enough to write his proper name, is that he puts himself first. Previous clients do not speak highly of his management. Taylor Swift for example.
Interesting fact, Taylor Swift, Halsey (Boy with Luv collaboration with BTS) and Camilla Cabello (Shawn Mendes is her ex) gave a great performance of “Shake it off” at the American Music Awards in Nov 2019.
Perhaps when Justin’s health issues became too grave to hide from the public or Justin himself refused to be held to his contract, (and perhaps Justin sold his catalog to cover his costs/penalties of canceling his tour) Scooter had an empty sandbox with no one to play with.
And, having lost his main source of income and having a keen head for business, (vulture capitalist) he had already set his sights on a new revenue stream. Of the seven BTS members, one in particular had released songs by Justin Bieber, proving he had what it took to be successful in the western market.
Jungkook has been a Bieber fan since he debuted with BTS. He ticks all the boxes needed for the western market, doesn’t he? Masculine build, tattoos, piercings, outstanding vocal ability and dance skills/technique and is a member of the greatest musical group in history?
No wonder Scooter went to the White House with BTS. Had to be sure to be there at the Grammys too. Front and center as though he was responsible for their success.

Confusing isn’t it?
1) Hybe buys Ithaca holdings April 2021
-$ 1 billion + reportedly
2) Justin Bieber Tour is canceled several times, and he pulls out of remaining tour dates February 2023
- $ unknown
3) Scooter buys Quality Control music one month after being named CEO of Hybe America February 2023
-$ 300 million
4) Hybe buys 14.8 % stock in SM entertainment February 2023
-$ 334.5 million
5) Hybe sells stock in SM entertainment for
+ $ 191.8 million March 2023
Well thank goodness for BTS. In 2022, their PTD tour earned:
+ $ 230.7 million concert revenue for PTD Tour
+ $ 32.6 million from PTD theater showing, limited engagement, in 3711 cinemas
Someone had to keep the lights on in that new building and families of the employees fed.
Which brings us back to Jeon Jungkook, Bieber admirer, a man who most definitely fits the “western audience appeal”, possessing talent beyond what we in the west have seen in many years.
And then there’s his equally talented, gifted dancer “Bro” Jimin who broke all the records right before him but does not bow down to those who whisper behind his back, lol.
And by coincidence, their music videos, promotional materials for their solo albums and many of their conversations seem to hinting at something 😉
Oh Scooter, it isn’t fun when someone beats you at your own game, is it?
When in doubt as to what is going on in an organization, follow the $$$.
I firmly believe the budget allowed for BTS’s chapter 2 “solo period” was capped due HYBE’s financial acquisitions at the same time.
In my opinion.
***
Now, @westcoastgal1,
I commend the effort you've put into this ask and I can tell you're trying to build a case for your theory(-ies), but I'm not sure what exactly that theory is.
Is it that "I firmly believe the budget allowed for BTS’s chapter 2 “solo period” was capped due HYBE’s financial acquisitions at the same time." ?
Is it that Scooter is broke and HYBE shifted financial resources from BTS to support him and their SM acquisition? Didn't HYBE tap capital markets precisely to raise proceeds for that purpose though? Or is it that Scooter is looking for a windfall in BTS now that his old roster of artists have abandoned ship?
But then, what is the implication here?
"And then there’s his equally talented, gifted dancer “Bro” Jimin who broke all the records right before him but does not bow down to those who whisper behind his back, lol.
And by coincidence, their music videos, promotional materials for their solo albums and many of their conversations seem to hinting at something 😉"
Is it that Jimin wasn't willing to play Scooter's balls like JK did apparently? But he had no issues accepting the Fast & Furious gig? And if so, what's the takeaway here? How does this tie in to the similarities in their concept pics styling, etc, so far?
You've already put quite some effort into building out this timeline so I hate to ask you to do more work, but I'm afraid the dots aren't quite connecting for me just yet. If you'd like to send me a follow up ask succinctly explaining what you mean, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, all I can say is this looks like a variation of the same fan theories I've seen people come up with to explain Jimin's solo rollout relative to Jungkook's. The fact there's so much discourse around it indicates something else to me, but I'll let the dead horse be.

Star, I also had a small panic attack with your ask about pit tickets cause I’m notorious for missing tour announcements 🥲
I feel like you’ve been to so many concerts, I’d love to know all the kpop ones you’ve attended 🥹
I still haven’t seen SKZ 🫠 my only three kpop concerts were BTS on the Wings Tour in 2017, then SNSD on their 10th anniversary fanmeeting ALSO in 2017 in Seoul and I was 19, a broke college student and my mom went OFF on me about spending so much money on concerts when I didn’t have a proper job 🙃 it was a whole thing so I controlled myself and only recently began attending concerts again, and my first “kpop” concert was Yoongi on the Agust D Tour 🩷
Also what concerts do you wanna go to? I love talking about concerts sorry. My dream concert was SNSD since I was 12 so that’s why I had my last moment as a dumb teenager and basically went broke to see them. Right now I NEED to see SKZ live or I will die, I’ll also try getting tickets for the IU concert this summer since I put it off cause I was scared SKZ was gonna announce something 🥲
Anyway I hope we all get to see the boys live 🩷 manifesting tickets for us all
~🌷~
ME…. Every time I see anyone talk about skz announcement my heart falls out of my CHEST thinking I missed a tour announcement 🥲 DON’T WORRY GUYS I will spam the fuck out of this account when they announce it !!
I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU WENT TO THE WINGS TOUR I AM SOOO JEALOUSSS 💔 I haven’t been to too many kpop concerts, but definitely enough to know how they work and plan better for them and stuff! The ones I’ve been to are:
• BTS permission to dance in LA D1
• BTS permission to dance in Vegas D2
• Ateez Break the Wall tour in Oakland
• Stray Kids Maniac encore in LA
• Yoongi D-Day tour in Oakland
• 3racha at Global Citizen Fest in NYC
I also had Blackpink tickets but I sold them in hopes that Shinee would do a world tour when Hard was released (spoiler: they did not🥲) and I almost saw Twice but I ended up forfeiting bc a work thing came up 😭 Concerts I WANT to see live are:
• SHINEE. My number one. I will die if I don’t see them. Any member from SHINee solo concert too!
• EXO
• Nmixx !! Their recent album omggg zero skips
• Itzy
• TXT
• Twice
• Blackpink
And any group I’ve already seen, as many times as I can! I tried for Coachella tickets this year but unfortunately it was too soon to work with my schedule so I’m hoping Ateez do a world tour at some point. I’m planning on going to 3 cities for the next skz tour and my sister and I are going to possibly fly to another country for a SHINee concert because I will simply pass away if I don’t see them at least once.
MANIFESTING YOU GET SKZ TICKETS WHEN THEY’RE ANNOUNCED ANDDDD IU TICKETS 🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🧘‍♀️🧘‍♀️🧘‍♀️🧘‍♀️🧘‍♀️ WE GOT THIS !!! 🫶💓

BTS and the Power of Music: Breaking Barriers and Spreading Love
Tumblr media
BTS, also known as Bangatan Sonyeodan is the biggest boyband in the world (according to the economist.com) and debuted under the HYBE LABELS. They started from humble beginnings. They once begged people to go to their concerts and lived in a small dorm which did not fit all of them. But now all their concert tickets just get sold out at a blink of an eye. And their fans have been mentioning them paving the way of their life and the K-pop industry when it was at its worst. Their 40 million fans loved them because of their music which gives them inspiration, motivation and loving themselves is a must in the fandom. In Fact, they have released an album dedicated to loving yourself (Love Yourself: Answer) on the 24th of August, 2018.
BTS released their first Korean and Japanese-language studio albums, Dark & Wild and Wake Up respectively, in 2014. The group's second Korean studio album, Wings (2016), was their first to sell one million copies in South Korea.

Tumblr media
They have also been invited to the United Nations as their ambassador and the White House by president Joe Biden.
MEMBERS:
Kim Seok Jin (Jin)
Tumblr media
Jin is the hyung of BTS (the oldest). Meaning he has to take care of his younger members since they’re very far away from their family due to their training. His younger members were raised by him for more than a decade! And I do think that they were raised right by their Jin hyung with all their awards and recognitions they still have been very humble about it.
He is a songwriter and the vocalist of the group. Jin has co-written and released three solo tracks with BTS: "Awake" in 2016, "Epiphany" in 2018, and "Moon" in 2020, all of which have charted on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart
For now, Jin is serving his country as a military personnel with Hoseok.
Min Yoongi (Suga)
Tumblr media
The lead rapper of the group came from a financially unstable family in Daegu. But due to his hard work he is now part of the Biggest Boy Band in The World and the global ambassador for Valentino. He used to work as a delivery boy in his teenage years. While working as a delivery boy he had a major injury which caused him to have surgery. He's been battling with mental illness for the past years. His fans and group members were a big help to him to overcome it.
Suga has also collabed with big time singers, like PSY, IU, Halsey and many more.
Jung Hoseok (J-hope)
Tumblr media
The third hyung in the group. He is the ambassador of Louis Vuitton all because of his great fashion sense. Before debuting with BTS, J-Hope was part of an underground dance team called Neuron, and took dance classes at Gwangju Music Academy for six years, from fourth grade to his first year in high school when he signed with Big Hit Entertainment.[He was relatively well known for his dance skills, and won various local prizes, including first place in a national dance competition in 2008.
In 2019, J-Hope released a free collaboration single, "Chicken Noodle Soup", featuring American singer Becky G, on September 27.The track debuted at number 81 on the Billboard Hot 100, making J-Hope the first member of BTS to chart on the Hot 100 as a solo artist, the third Korean solo artist to rank on the chart , and the sixth Korean artist overall to do so. "Chicken Noodle Soup" also became J-Hope's second song to debut at number one on the World Digital Song Sales chart. And now, he is currently serving Korea as a soldier.
Kim Namjoon (RM)
Tumblr media
RM, is the leader and the main rapper of the group. He is called the Backbone of K-pop, since he was the main reason why it was popular and why the group BTS exists which contributed a lot to the Korean economy. Namjoon, is the only BTS member to be fluent in english which is a big help to them when they go to foreign countries. As a child, RM largely learned English by watching the American sitcom Friends with his mother. As a student, he actively wrote poetry and often received awards for his writing. He posted his work to an online poetry website for roughly one year, where he received moderate attention. He also has an iq of 148.
RM is the youngest and second most-credited songwriter in the association's history. With 213 songs attributed to his name as a songwriter and composer by the Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA), as of April 2023.
Park Jimin (Jimin)
Tumblr media
Jimin’s passion for dancing started at an early age. When he was in high school he learned contemporary dancing as a top student from Busan High School of Arts. Seeing his talent, one of his teachers suggested that he should audition for an entertainment company. With his talent, he successfully made it to Bighit. And now he has a networth of $8 million plus his collaboration with Dior which is $17 million. And a little fun fact is that Jimin is always teased by his younger member Jungkook because of his height. (174 cm)
Jimin's vocals have been described as delicate and sweet. He is regarded as an exceptional dancer among the members of BTS and in K-pop in general, often praised for his "smooth and elegant movements" and charm on stage. In the documentary Burn the Stage, Jimin addressed his perfectionism, stating that even the smallest mistakes on stage make him feel guilty and stressed.
Kim Taehyung (V)
Tumblr media
V, also known as Taehyung, first aspired to be a professional singer in elementary school. With his father's support, he began taking saxophone lessons in early middle school as a means of pursuing a musical career. V eventually became a trainee for Big Hit Entertainment after passing an audition in Daegu. He never actually intended to audition, he was just there to support his friend but I guess he was too good.
Jeon Jungkook (JK)
Tumblr media
The moment Jungkook saw Namjoon’s audition video for Bighit he knew he had to join. Jungkook is said to be Namjoon’s #1 Fan and joined the auditions because of him. Jungkook is the maknae of the group meaning he is the youngest and left his home for his dreams to become a superstar. And with that he now has an astonishing net worth of 20 million US dollars and is the ambassador of Calvin Klein.
Tumblr media
The group's success can be attributed to their unique sound, relatable lyrics, and dedicated fanbase known as ARMY (Adorable Representative MC for Youth). BTS fans have played a significant role in the group's success, and here are a few ways in which they have helped BTS:
Social Media Presence: BTS fans are known for their active presence on social media. They use platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok to share content related to BTS, such as music videos, pictures, and news. This helps to create buzz around the group and attract new fans.
Streaming: BTS fans actively stream the group's music on various platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. This not only helps to increase the group's streaming numbers but also helps to boost their rankings on music charts.
Voting: BTS fans participate in various online voting events to help the group win awards and recognition. They use their social media accounts to encourage other fans to vote, and this helps BTS to win awards and gain more exposure.
Fan Projects: ARMYs often organize fan projects to show their support for BTS. These projects include things like billboards, mass streaming parties, and charity donations. These efforts help to spread awareness about BTS and show the group how much their fans appreciate them.
Merchandise Sales: BTS fans are also known for their dedication to buying BTS merchandise. This helps to generate revenue for the group and shows record labels and other industry professionals that there is a demand for BTS-related products.
And here are some of my song recommendations for you to enjoy. <3

Permission to Dance
VCRs
Nods to “Permission to Dance”
In the first VCR, Jung Kook holds a “WE DON’T NEED PERMISSION” sign. In the second one, the boys find a card with “CODE NAME : PTD” on it; the lyrics are also written on the wall.
Lastly, in the fourth VCR, BTS goes to PTD general store. Then, the confrontation with the silent crowd is basically a reenactment of the MV: there’s the balloon, the choreography, and the cameo of Goya, the son of Lumpens’ director (who probably directed the VCR too).
Nods to “Butter”
In the opening VCR, the boys stand in front of a height chart like in the MV and in the second concept photo of the Butter album. They also have mugshots but the numbers are different this time:
RM: 180924
BTS’ first speech at the UN for the UNICEF Launch Event At 73rd Session Of The UN General Assembly
Jin: 101101
lol lol in beeper code (cr.)
V: 200901
BTS” first #1 on the Billboard Hot100 with “Dynamite”
j-hope: 141017
First date of BTS 2014 LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE II. THE RED BULLET
SUGA: 130613
BTS’ debut
Jimin: 1365244
I love you 24 hours, 365 days a year (cr.), a phrase the boys discovered in episode 136 of Run BTS!. The final 4 sounds like love in Korean. Jimin is the only one to have 7 digits.
Jung Kook: 190601
BTS’ first performance at Wembley Stadium in London for the BTS WORLD TOUR ‘LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF’
And the hand brushing their hair back is a nod to the choreography.
In the second VCR, RM, V, and Jung Kook receive a box from Butter pizza.
Nods to other songs
In the teaser, RM puts his lollipop in a glass, like at the beginning of “RUN” MV.
The first VCR happens in an interrogation room, reminding of “Mic Drop” MV. Excepted that instead of being surrounded by mics, they’re handcuffed.
In the third VCR, SUGA presses a button that provokes colorful explosions identical to the ones in Dynamite” MV.
Tumblr media
The second and third VCR are the development of the teaser. RM, V, and Jung Kook receive a pizza box with paint powder inside. Jin, SUGA, j-hope and Jimin use it on a neighbor complaining about the noise, making him join them. The colorful explosions happening after SUGA presses the button probably have the same effect. In the fourth VCR, the shop’s facade is covered in paint and “Ink refill” is written on the window. Thus the paint/colors seem like a metaphor for the boys’ joy and freedom (as in, they don’t need permission to have fun).
The last VCR is a summary of BTS’ speech and performance of “Permission to Dance” at the UN.

Jimin Is Ready to Show the World Who He’s Become
The multi-talented star and BTS member talks about his solo debut album Face — and shares how much his bandmates supported his creative process
Tumblr media
Before Jimin was sure he could release a solo debut album, his fellow BTS members believed in him first.
It was last spring, and the group was in Las Vegas, carrying out the last shows on their “Permission to Dance on Stage” stadium tour. In between nights, he opened up to his brother-like band members over drinks and told them about the self-doubt he’d been experiencing during the pandemic. That’s when he received the encouragement he needed from the group, who will celebrate their 10-year anniversary this summer, and felt prepared enough to embark on his own project.
“I was thinking things like, ‘Why am I living like this? What am I doing right now?’” he tells Rolling Stone through an interpreter, speaking on an early spring morning from the HYBE office in Seoul. His bandmates assured him that everyone goes through these growing pains. They suggested that expressing himself through music could offer a way forward.
Now, the 27-year-old artist from Busan, South Korea is preparing his vision as a solo pop star with Face, a captivating six-track album. Across the project, which is full of various sonic moods that veer from spiky and hard-hitting to velvety and sleek, Jimin portrays the conflicting feelings he’s had about himself and his journey as an artist. Though he wasn’t originally a singer when he joined Big Hit Entertainment at age 16, he’s developed one of K-pop’s most unique voices: It’s sweet, with delicately sharp edges, and he contorts his vowels as if they were soft curls of smoke. Through these subtle inflections, he conveys bitter isolation on the melancholic R&B song “Alone,” but then quickly switches to explosive anger on “Set Me Free Pt. 2.” On that boisterous, horn-laden hip-hop track, he proclaims that he’s entering a new era where he “won’t hide anymore even if it hurts,” singing as if he’s gritting his teeth.
The project is a bold evolution from Jimin’s work in BTS, where he’s shown his penchant for making emotional R&B through tracks like 2016’s “Lie” and the sultry Latin-pop-inflected “Filter.” In 2018, he showed he could take on an acoustic singer-songwriter approach with his debut solo single “Promise” — which recently got an official release after living only on SoundCloud for years. For the upcoming Face singles, he’s also been teasing meticulously prepared performances, which have become a signature for the skilled dancer whose fluid yet powerful style is informed by his background in modern dance and martial arts. (To see the full scope of his talent, fans can watch his viral contemporary dance to “I Need U” at the 2019 MMA awards, where he flips and spins effortlessly as if he were wind personified, or his scene-stealing performance in 2020’s “Black Swan.”) He’s come a long way since he was a teenager impersonating the sensual performance style of his role model, Big Bang’s Taeyang; this January, he experienced a full circle moment when he was featured on the K-pop veteran’s long-awaited solo track “Vibe.”
Jimin explores a mesmerizing mix of emotions on the album’s lead single “Like Crazy,” which will come in both English and Korean versions. He found inspiration in the 2011 Drake Doremus-directed drama of the same name. Struck by the film’s depiction of a passionate romance between a British woman and American man whose relationship can never stabilize because of visa issues and their respective careers, he tried to convey these ambiguous feelings through the song’s choreography. He’s a perfectionist to his core: When I tell him that I’m looking forward to these performances, his response is simply, “I’ll work hard.”
This album is called Face. What does the title mean to you?  In this album, I look back at myself. I heard that the word “face” has many different meanings. Of course, it has the meaning of the noun, face, but it also means, “to face, to [confront],” as a verb. So in order to stand at this new starting point and begin a new journey, I thought it would be necessary to look back at myself and face myself entirely.
When you looked back at yourself, did you discover something new?  I wouldn’t say that I felt something new. But when I look back at myself during the pandemic and the emotions that I felt then, I actually didn’t really realize the feelings I had back then. [I thought] I was fine. I was happy. I was just enjoying things. But looking back, I realized that those weren’t the only feelings [I had]. After realizing that, I just thought that I should overcome [these feelings]. I think I kind of learned how to become a grown-up. I realize that I felt various emotions during the pandemic.
When you look at the lyrics on this album, there are themes of loneliness, wrestling with yourself, and of finding freedom. What kind of thoughts and feelings did you have while writing these lyrics? I’m actually not good at beating around the bush, or indirectly saying things, and that’s the same with my lyrics. I just wrote the emotions as they were, exactly how I felt two years ago, and the emotions that I felt in every situation [at that time]. So if you just listen to the music, you’ll understand the lyrics right away.
How did you want to express yourself musically or production-wise on this project?  Since for every song, the emotions are all different, I wanted to express those feelings the way they are through the [production]. In the first part [of the album], there’s anger. The main track [“Like Crazy”], it feels happy, but there’s also loneliness behind it. Also, the choreography for the main track and the pre-release single, “Set Me Free Pt. 2” are totally different.
“Interlude: Set Me Free” is a song by SUGA, from his 2020 mixtape D-2 as Agust D. How is this song and your song “Set Me Free Pt. 2” connected?  I think it would be hard to say that they’re actually connected. But when I was working on this song, I just thought that the phrase “set me free” would be the perfect title for it. Then I realized that there’s a song with the same name on Suga’s mixtape already. When I listened to that song, I realized it’s also a song about the struggles of becoming more mature, becoming a grown-up. So I thought it would make sense for my song to become the “part two” to that song. If we do have a chance or opportunity, I think it would be nice for him to do a feature on my song. [Laughs]
The first song, “Face-Off,” starts out with a melody that sounds like carnival music. What is that supposed to represent? It doesn’t actually have a specific meaning or significance. But when I worked on this song, the producers and I started fooling around with different pianos and instruments. When you listen to it, you realize this song is very intense, rebellious, and has a lot of anger. But starting it like that [with the carnival sound] would be a stark contrast to the rest of those vibes. So they said, ‘You know, if you start the song like this, it would be kind of paradoxical or ironic, and it could be pretty fun.”
With “Interlude: Dive,” there are sounds of water and then sounds of you talking on stage. What kind of story is that track telling?  Originally, the first track was “Face-Off,” which is really intense and rebellious, and the next track was the main track, “Like Crazy,” which has a feeling of dreamy intoxication. I thought it would be nice to have something in-between that would bridge those two tracks, so that’s how we came up with “Dive.” If you listen to the track, you might hear sounds of someone panting for air, or me running somewhere. I wanted to give this feeling that I was lost and wandering. So I tried a lot of different things [for that song]. I actually recorded myself running around using my phone, and it was a fun process.
For “Like Crazy,” you were inspired by the film Like Crazy. What did you like in particular about this movie, and how did it influence the song? I was actually on YouTube, and I came across this video of a mashup between this song “In Return” by Breakbot and clips of this movie. I was like, “Oh what is this?” and that led me to watching the movie. I thought it would be very romantic and sweet, but it turned out that it’s actually a very realistic and stark depiction of a breakup. So when we were talking about the main track, this movie suddenly came to my mind, and I thought it would fit well with the kind of song [we wanted to make]. So I watched the film again, and I included different points of inspiration [into the song]. There are some interesting excerpts of dialogue at the beginning and at the end [of the track] that express exactly what I wanted to say.
Can you share what the “Like Crazy” choreography and performance is going to be like? I tried to express the feelings of that movie… You know, the somewhat complex, somewhat lonely, somewhat happy emotions. I tried to express all these ambiguous and subtle emotions in a slightly sexy way, but I’m not sure how it’ll end up being received by people. [Laughs]
I know that you have a background in modern dance, as well as different martial arts like taekwondo and kendo. How do you think these different movement forms influence your dance style now? Honestly, when I started to learn choreography, I thought my background in modern dance and different kinds of movement would be a hindrance to me. But when I was establishing my own way of expressing choreography after debuting, I think those things actually became hugely helpful. What I thought would be bad habits ended up having a positive impact. I could see dances with a different perspective than other people, and I could mix in my modern dance style or incorporate powerful acrobatics into the choreography. So I think those foundational forms actually built who I am now.
When you were preparing this album, how did the other members help you? Or how were you influenced by them during the process? Actually, my members were the people who made it possible for me to start preparing this album. This all began at the [Permission to Dance on Stage] concerts in Las Vegas last year, and at the time, I was struggling with the emotions that ended up in [“Like Crazy”]… While we were talking over drinks, I told them, “I don’t know if I’m doing well. I don’t even know what I’m doing.” But the members said that it’s perfectly fine to feel that way, that it’s okay to feel lost sometimes. They suggested, “Why don’t you express these emotions through music?”
So the moment I returned to Korea from the United States, I met up with the producers and started working on music right away. I’m so thankful to my members for inspiring me to start working on this album. I don’t know how people are going to react to the music, but I actually was able to completely resolve and move on from all those feelings of being lost. I’m perfectly okay now, so I’m so very thankful to them.
What was it about the Las Vegas concerts that brought up all these emotions for you? As you know, we couldn’t meet our fans in person during the pandemic. At that time, I didn’t feel like I had enough space or time to be able to reflect on myself. So I [lived] not really knowing what I was doing, or why I was working so hard up to that point and for what. Each day, I had all these different thoughts and emotions. But during the Las Vegas concerts, I had the chance to talk with my members about how they were also surviving during this time. Before, I thought that I was the only one who was feeling and acting weird, and that all my members were still working really hard and still looked really cool, that they were shining on their own. I thought I was the odd one out, so talking to them really helped me get back on my feet.
On a different subject, what was it like working with Taeyang on “Vibe?” It was such a happy memory for me. As you know, he has been my role model since I was little. So the fact that I could meet him, listen to him sing right next to me, be able to closely observe him working on music, dance with him, film the music video, and perform together… All of it made me so happy.
When Taeyang appeared on SUGA’s interview series, Suchwita, he said that you’re someone who works really hard. Hearing this, how do you view yourself? I contacted him a lot during the entire process of recording and practicing “Vibe.” I actually took a lot of time recording my parts on my own, since it’s not a very easy song. I think everytime I made a new recording, I sent it over to him, like, “This is today’s version of the recording, could you listen to it please?” Then the next day, I would send a new recording and say, “I fixed these details, what do you think of today’s version?” After he saw me doing that, I think that maybe that’s why he said that and saw me in a positive way.
Can you describe the way that you practice while preparing to release a new album? There’s something I always say to the producers I work with: “Practice is the answer.” If I have some time after I finish work in the evenings, I practice singing with the producers. I practice dancing. I keep trying to spend as much time practicing as I can. It’s just an infinite cycle of practicing.

Jimin: In quest'album, rifletto su me stesso.
A cosa pensavi?
Per quanto riguarda “Like Crazy”, ti sei ispirato al film 'Like Crazy'.

Don't Blame Me Part Two - Seokjin & Grace
Tumblr media
Jungkook had unofficially moved in.
Since Seokjin had walked out of their argument over a week ago, Jungkook had walked in and not left. His clothes and shoes had taken residence in the spare room with some of his gym equipment and Bam’s bed was put pride of place near the TV in the living room. Whether she wanted him to or not, Jungkook wasn’t going to leave his noona alone.
The moment he had received the message from Seokjin about the argument, Jungkook had woken himself up, took a quick shower, asked his brother to mind Bam for the night and made his way over to Grace’s apartment. Of course, he had a key as he was the favourite child. And there he had found her, on her bed, in tears.
He knew, somewhat, about the reason for the argument. The rest of the boys had been over the moon when the two eldest announced their relationship to them and the company and had been supportive from day one, they also knew how unforgiving the KPop industry could be to their idols who announced their relationship. The company had advised the two to keep it secret until a time came along when it could be announced appropriately. Of course, they had planned to announce it around Seokjin’s military service after the tour but then COVID and everything else happened so delays, delays, delays - in more ways than one.
Jungkook could understand his hyung’s frustration at not being allowed to be seen by the public and he could understand the want to protect Grace but she was unselfish. She always put others in front of her when it came to her own projects, thoughts and dreams. Her solo album had been pushed back so many times so they could put BTS’ projects and others' solo projects first. She thought of ARMY’s views constantly and she knew what people expected of her, what they didn’t expect of her, what they needed to see and the like.
It was an impossible situation and one, Jungkook knew, would not be healed quickly.
Jimin and Taehyung had made visits as well, declaring one night to be a sleepover. They pulled Grace’s mattress into the living room and brought over a load of snacks, putting their noona in the middle of them and holding onto her while they slept.
Yoongi had also made a visit. He had taken one look at Grace and muttered under his breath and then left.
Namjoon and Hobi hadn’t made an appearance yet but there had been constant update checks with Jungkook on the situation and they had been keeping an eye on Seokin as well.
They all knew there was no blame on either parties but they were just as stubborn.
Grace was fast asleep next to Jungkook who was updating the group chat of schedules as they had their Permission to Dance Seoul concert in two months. Surprisingly, Bang-PD gave the group a week off - he was protective of Grace like the rest of them and the news she had emotionally broken down had shaken him like the others.
Jungkook glanced over as Grace turned over and he reached over, tucking the sheets around her. She had done nothing other than quietly cry, sleep, shower then repeat. It was odd to be the one looking after her when she had done nothing but look after him since he first arrived at the dorm.
His cheek pressed against her shoulder blade, listening to her breathe as his eyes turned to the group chat. There was nothing from Seokjin though he had made his schedules according to their manager and he was keeping busy. There was a rumour going around that a yelling match between Seokjin & Yoongi had happened only yesterday but no one had confirmed it.
Speaking of Yoongi.
The door to the bedroom opened and Yoongi poked his head around, glancing at the maknae snuggled up against his noona and Bam taking up the space at the end of the bed.
“Has she woken up yet?”
Jungkook looked up then towards his mother, shaking his head as he pushed himself up to prop his back against the wall. “Not yet. I think she was awake for most of the night though, I could hear her moving around in the kitchen but she’s fast asleep now.”
Yoongi hummed and leaned against the door, slight concern littering his face. “She needs to eat something, she’s got rehearsals starting on Monday, we all do. I don’t know what Jin-hyung is going to do but I hope they sort this out before then.”
It was hard to suppress the snort but Jungkook managed to do it, folding his arms across his chest. “He needs to pull his head out of his backside first.”
As much as Yoongi wanted to reprimand the youngest, he wasn’t entirely wrong.
“Try to wake her up in a bit if you can. I’ve got some food out there.”
Jungkook nodded and Yoongi left them to it, closing the door behind him.
“Noona, how do I make this better?” Jungkookie muttered against her hair where he rested his head on top of hers. It broke him to see her like this as she was always the strongest and the one who protected the rest but maybe that was the problem. Maybe she had taken all their worries and problems on and never allowed them to feel the burden until her own became too much.
Bam’s ears perked up at the sound of loud voices coming from the kitchen and Jungkook perked up, frowning as he slid off the bed to see what was going on.
If it had been any other situation other than the one they were in, Jungkook would have collapsed onto the floor in giggles at the sight of short Yoongi squaring up to his hyung, almost standing on tiptoes to go nose to nose.
“Hyungs! Hyungs! You need to be quiet otherwise you’ll wake her up,” Jungkook ran over and made a shushing motion with his hand.
“Give me an hour with her Yoongi-ah. I need to speak to her.”
“Last time you did that you walked out and left us to clear up the pieces because you were thinking of yourself and not her. She needs someone who is going to be her backbone and support system, to be her light. And the only person who has done that right now is Jungkook,” Yoongi pointed at the youngest who looked like a deer caught in headlights.
Seokjin sighed and ran a hand through dishevelled hair.
“I know. I know I’m an idiot. I realised that the moment I left. And I’ve thought on that every day so let me speak to her.”
Yoongi remained steadfast but after a gentle tug on his arm by Jungkook, he somewhat relented. “You’ve got an hour. Jungkook and I will leave you to it but we’ll be back in an hour. Bam stays.”
Jin rolled his eyes and ignored his dongsaengs, moving automatically to Grace’s bedroom. Bam had now moved to Grace’s left side, leaving her right free so Jin kicked off his shoes and laid down by her side.
“I’m sorry,” he quietly said. His crooked fingers brushed her hair away from her face. “I’m sorry for what I did and said and what I didn’t say. I’ve realised that this whole relationship is more than us - it’s Jungkook, Yoongi, Namjoon, Hobi, Jimin, Taehyung and ARMY. It’s BigHit and your parents and my parents. It’s everyone yet no one.”
Grace said nothing, still asleep but she did roll over so she was facing Jin.
“I’ve decided that I want to go to the military as soon as possible so we don’t have to hide anymore but I want you to make the decision about what we announce and what we don’t announce. We shouldn’t have to hide but we should protect who we are as well. I’ll follow your decision.”
He should have known she was being too quiet and he got the fright of his life when he glanced up to see a pair of eyes looking back at him.
There was a small smile on Grace’s lips at his reaction and he blew out a breath, pressing a hand to his chest.
“Warn a man next time.”
“I think you’re right as well,” Grace whispered, her voice croaky from the lack of use and from the amount of crying she had done. “I don’t want to hide but I want to protect us and everyone. I’m sure ARMY would be accepting but right now, we need to be careful. If you want to do it when you go to the military then that’s what we’ll do.”
“BigHit’s power couple?” Jin questioned, holding up his fist.
Grace chuckled at the nickname their managers had given them in the early days. “BigHit’s power couple,” Grace confirmed by pressing her fist to his.
They were found an hour later by Yoongi and Jungkook, fast asleep and holding onto each other. “Guess that means I’m getting kicked out,” Jungkook muttered as he and Yoongi packed up the food.
However, he stayed for another week, enjoying having his parents back together.

PRICELESS WINE
K-drama fanfiction
Tumblr media
*For all ages. This is a BTS fanfiction. No shipping. Just for the enjoyment of people Hope you all enjoy.*
Characters; Suga, Brianna,JK, JHope, Jimin, Jin, RM, V, Tanya
Starring; Suga & Brianna
I was incredibly nervous as I walked towards the jet. I was to fly to Seoul to do the music video of my latest song. With whom you might ask? A month ago I did a collaboration with BTS. Due to our schedules we didn't physically meet for the song. Unexpectedly the song hit number 1 on the charts and due to public demand we have to do a music video. So here is me; on my way to Korea. BTS are literally my idols. I really loved them actually my bias was Namjoon but I was going to put my crush aside and focus on being professional.
*HOURS LATER*
I walked down the steps of the jet, my muscles exhausted. My tour manager had already arrived and was waiting for me. When he saw me he mentioned me to the car next to him. My publicist took tons of photos as my bodyguards walked me out of my car. I had a press meeting at seven in the evening and later have dinner with some influencial people. I was going to meet BTS the next day. I just wanted to throw myself in a bed and sleep till kingdom come. I barely had two hours to myself to get ready.
*NEXT DAY*
I barely had five uninterrupted hours before I heard my alarm buzzing and a knock on my door
"Wakey wakey, pretty lady," my assistant announced as she walked in. How she can be this energy with inadequate sleep shocks me. As I sat up lazily she walked to the little dining table and lay my coffee on it. She gets it perfectly as I like it. I should from the bed and slipped my feet into my fuzzy slippers.
"We got to hurry, you have to meet the Bangtan Boys at nine and you have a live at 7:30. So we have almost an hour to get ready. Room service should be here dammit," I just stared at her blankly. I really wanted to go back to sleep. Just five more minutes. The live was just an impromptu for Instagram to show my fans about my stay in Korea and to let them know I was fine.
I walked to the table, my phone in hand and saw a couple missed calls from my parents. They must be warned, shoot I forgot to call them. The food came in and barely ten minutes later my make up artist and dresser walked in. We rushed through everything and I dressed into a sporty but sexy outfit. A supreme headband cause those boys make it so cool. As I walked to the car my publicist recorded me and I showed my fans how excited I was about meeting BTS. I wasn't faking it. I really was beyond excited. I have so many BTS t-shirts with the 'Permission to dance' and 'Butter' logos and their faces on it. Creepy? Maybe. I don't know.
"Hey guys. I'm on my way to meet BTS. I showered and I'm sweating and my knees are shaking. I really can't wait to meet them. Jeez! Am I dressed right? I hope so. Oh I had some noodles. So spicy but uggghhh sooooo good," my lie was basically me rambling for fifteen minutes. We stopped at various places to take pictures and left the editors to do what they do best.
Finally we were on our way to meet THEM. My stomach was in knots as my manager said we were five minutes away. As I saw the large building, Big Hit, I was about to get off the car and run myself cause I felt like the driver was going too slow. I was having palpitations and pretty sure even my blood pressure increased. I closed my eyes and leaned against the car seat.
"Bri...Just breathe. It's gonna be fine and you look gorgeous girl," my assistant and friend said as she patted my knee. I opened my eyes and looked at her. Her smile was warm and it did take the anxiety down a notch. The car came to a stop.
"We're here Brianna. You ready?" my manager, Ted asked. My eyes grew wide as I looked nervously at Tanya, my assistant. She tightened her hold on my knee assuringly.
"As I'll ever be," I said. I pushed the door open and one of my guards helped me out. It's a good thing he did because I was weak waist down. As I walked towards the building I felt breath leave my lungs and a gust of wind hit my face. I was accosted by more than two dozen paparazzi wanting to have a word with me about how it felt to be a couple of feet away from BTS . It felt like I was having a panic attack that's what. But I didn't say that. I kept my head down as my bodyguards protected me and hurried me into the building. Once I walked past the enormous front door I felt my shoulders relax. My heels clicked on the tile floor and I remembered Tanya had a pair of Jordans in the bag she carried for me just in case we started the dance practice today. My manager was already at the front desk introducing us and the woman behind the desk enthusiastically showed us to the elevator.
"Brianna," she said as we waited for the elevator doors to open. I turned to her and smiled.
"Yes," I responded.
"Um... I'm a big fan of yours could you um...maybe take a selfie with me. You don't have to if it's a bother," she hurried on the last part.
"It's not a bother at all. Take out your phone," she did, with shaky hands and opened her camera. I pushed my sunglasses to the top of my head. I put my hand over her shoulders as she took the picture. When I pulled back she looked so happy. This is what makes the endless hours of hard work worth it. I took the sunglasses off my head and handed them to her.
"Keep this. A little souvenir. It is signed on the inside of the right handle with my name," I said as she stared at me with her mouth open. The elevator doors pinged and I walked in with my crew. She thanked me and I gestured the Korean heart to her of which she responded similarly.
I hate elevators. When it started moving I had to hold to the wall and calm myself. I breathed in and out deeply. Seems the relaxation made time move fast because the next minute the doors opened and I walked out. We saw a man outside who introduced himself as a manager and walked us towards the door at the end of the hall. This was it.
My feet moved faster and wanted to stay glued to the ground at the same time.
"In a rush Brianna," the man asked his Korean accent thick. Ted chuckled.
"You have no idea," I said shakily as he held the door knob. I needed to calm down but couldn't.
The door opened and everything felt like it was in slow motion. We walked in at the same time the band turned around and stood up.
"Brianna!" J-hope shouted in excitement. I was shivering and surprised that he knew my name. They automatically fell into formation of a line and smiled warmly at me. I felt my heart vibrating and blood rushing in my ears. I was about to pass out and my hands were sweating. They are going to feel it. As I walked towards them I bit my tongue to fight the urge to chant out each of their names. I was a crazy fan girl, they didn't need to know that. Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin,Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Kim Taehyung, Jeon Jungkook, Park Jimin. I fought the urge though.
"Hey guys. Wow you guys are taller than I thought," I said as I walked closer. I let out my hand and greeted each of them in turn.
"I'm RM, Namjoon," I smiled and responded with a nice to meet you. Same happened with Jin.
I got to Yoongi and he is wow...like. My oh my.
"Hey I'm Suga," he said as he held my hand in his. He had a weird look in his eyes that held me captive.
"I'm Brianna," that was a stupid thing to say but I felt better when he smiled at me. It was a small curve of his lips but I saw it nevertheless. I heard someone clearing their throat and we broke from our reverie.
I turned to J-hope who instead of taking my hand, pulled me into his arms for a bear hug. I laughed. I don't think I've met such a ray of sunshine like him in a long while. He passed me on to V who passed me on to Jungkook and then to Jimin who lifted me off my feet. I was laughing really hard. I can't even remember when I genuinely laughed that hard. When I was back on my feet I turned and locked eyes with Yoongi just for the briefest moments and he turned his head. I felt a pang of disappointment and I didn't know why.
"How was your flight?" Tae asked with his thick accent. It's so adorable and I couldn't help but smile.
"It was long. Korea is far," I teased.
"So far...Oh I'm sorry," Jimin said as he walked up to me and rubbed my shoulder.
We talked for a while and got to know each other. Maybe an hour went by when some men walked in and introduced themselves as our producers and creators for the music video. Apparently even Suga was going to be a producer of the song. I didn't know why the mention of his name made my heart skip a beat considering Namjoon is my bias. Shouldn't that have been my reaction to him.
We sat and talked about the video and I didn't mind anything in the arrangement until I heard, "So Brianna in the song it will seem like you and Jungkook are in a relationship."
I was stunned, I was about to ask why but I guess the man saw the question in my eyes.
"This is because according to the internet people currently think you and Jungkook would make the perfect couple," he said matter-o'-factly.
"Well then," Jungkook said excitedly clapping his hands. What made it worse was the creepy looks everyone had on their faces. The guys, for a reason they haven't told me,found it so amusing. So much so that some of them had their faces turning purple as they held back their laugh. Even Tanya found this amusing. I scanned my eyes across the room, looking at them all. My eyes met Yoongi's and he quirked his eyebrow at me. Again with the jumping feeling in my heart. He didn't laugh or smile like the rest. He looked upset. Or irritated. I turned back to the rest and let the discussion continue. It took us forty five more minutes then we were left alone.
*Back in the hotel*
"Sooooo..." Tanya said with a sneaky smile on her face.
"What?" I knew what she was fishing for but I wasn't going to give in easily.
"You met your bias today," she said then stared at me. I didn't react. I was excited to meet RM but that doesn't mean I wanna go out with him. Weird though.
"You know," she continued, "I have seen you nervous before a performance or even before an interview with Jimmy Kimmel but I have never seen you shake as you did with Min." I turned quickly to her.
"Oh I mean Suga...or is it Agust D," she said in mock inquisition.
"I have no idea what you are talking about," I countered avoiding her searching gaze.
"Oh really?" she asked. She walked up to me and let out her hand.
"Oh hi Suga. I'm Brianna," she mocked as she flipped her hair flirtatiously.
"I didn't say that," I said trying not to smile.
"Oh Suga... I ain't ever met anyone as sweet as you," she teased. I walked away but she was right on my heels.
"I don't have all day but you can give me a min,Yoongi," that had me and I laughed so hard I had to hold on the wall.
"That is the wo...worst pick up line I have ever heard. He'd walk out if I said that," I tried my best to speak out the words. Tanya just laughed and went on to come with worse puns.
*THE NEXT DAY*
We had been practicing for almost two hours. I was so tired. My feet hurt. J-hope made the dance moves so easy. Jungkook and Jimin weren't even panting and I was about to pass out. I needed an oxygen tank.
"Okay guys that's enough for today," the choreographer said.
"Finally," Suga said under his breath but we all heard him. The guys laughed. My feet hurt and the shoes I wore hurt me cause I think they got me a size too small.
"Why do you do dance practice in heels?" RM asked as he walked up to me and handed me a bottle of water. He had another in his hand which he opened and took a swig of his water.
"Because it's really hard to dance in heels. If I practice without them when I'll have to wear them for a performance I won't dance as good. So I need to practice with them. Get used to them," I said with a small smile and thanked him for the water. As I drank he smiled at me.
"That's tough," he said with a pouty lip, "So I hear from reliable sources that I am your bias."
Dammit he knew. I was trying to be cool about it.
"Who told you that?" I asked with a nervous smile.
"Tanya...and the internet. We all saw your Instagram live. V showed it to us," he said pointing at V. I was so embarrassed I wanted to run away.
"You think I'm weird now, right?" I asked covering my face with my hands.
"No. You're not weird," he said pulling my hands from my face, "V sleeps with his eyes open, Suga shouts when we all just want to meditate, Jk takes his socks off when we're eating. So, no, you're not weird. These guys... total weirdos." That made me laugh.
"Hey...um do you wanna join us for lunch. Or... Am I pushing too much," he asked. It was weird to see someone twice my height and size nervous.
"No no. I'd love that," I said. He smiled and stood up, turning to the rest of the guys.
"Hey guys let's go for lunch, Brianna's coming along. If that's okay," RM said it more like a statement of facts than a question.
"Yeah sure," Jin said.
"Um... can...uh... Tanya come along. Brianna is that okay?" J-hope asked. I didn't get the chance before Tanya walked up to him, linked her arm through his and said, "Which kind of lady declines an offer of food from a man?" I laughed. I stood up and we all walked out. My feet hurt so bad and unfortunately Tanya didn't carry any spare into the building so I had to wait till we got to the car.
In the elevator the guys talked to each other and I felt so excluded. Even Tanya was talking to J-hope. I was basically invisible. Well maybe not just me, Suga leaned against the wall silently then turned to me. This time he actually smiled at me, I tried to my best to smile back but it didn't quite reach my eyes. When the elevator doors opened. Everyone walked out and Suga and I were last to get off.
In the hallway Suga stopped me with a hand on my arm.
"Are you okay?" he asked. It still amazes me how someone this adorable has such a deep voice.
"I'm fine," I say with a shaky smile. My feet hurt so bad I had tears in my eyes.
"Really? You have tears in your eyes and you're hopping from one foot to another," he said calmly.
He searched my eyes and then wiped my tears.
"Tell me," he pleaded.
"It's silly," I said with a cringy laugh. I was so embarrassing, what next? He's going to find me singing My Heart Will Go On to a cut out of him?
"Yeah, well. I'm one for silly games," he teased. I took a deep breath and decided to tell him.
"It's my shoes. They hurt my feet so bad. I've been trying to take them off during practice but couldn't," I said in a whisper.
He looked into my eyes for a while. See, I'm 5'1 so even with heels I have to look up to meet his eyes. He made me feel so small. His tiny eyes were literally the reason I was so much into Asians.
He suddenly went down on his knees and my heart went WILD. He went to the zipper of the boot on the back and opened it. He lifted my foot and took the shoe off then did the same with the other foot then stood up holding both shoes by the heel in one hand. He handed them to me and I tilted my head, wondering what he wanted to do. He turned around with his back to me and went down on one knee.
"Get on my back. I'll carry you," he said.
"What? It's like fifteen feet to the car," I said nervous, knees wobbly. My head was like 'get on his back'.
"Yeah and you'll be all out crying by the time you get there. The guys are going to think I bullied you," he said turning around to smirk at him. Having no more argument I agreed. He clasped his hands tightly on my thighs as I settled onto his back. When he stood up I held onto him tightly worried he might drop me.
As we walked closer to the main door I noticed a couple of reporters outside and I froze up.
"I don't think they should see us like this," I said.
"Relax Brianna. It's nothing big besides maybe I'll get less 'Yoongi marry me' jokes from Tae and Jin," he joked. I laughed. The paparazzi fed on the images and took almost a million pictures of us. As I leaned in to him, I got a whiff of his cologne. Jesus Holy Christ, he smelled so good.
"I know," he said. I gasped.
"Did I say it out loud?" I asked. Sheer embarrassment in my voice.
"Yeah. But don't worry. I won't tell anyone," he said then laughed.
Once we got to the cars, RM turned to us, concern etched on his face.
"What's up with her?" he asked as he opened the door to the car and Suga helped me in and strapped me to the seatbelt. His face was so close to mine and damn if he isn't the finest man I've ever seen.
"Her shoes hurt her. She was crying. Even her toes are red," Suga said to RM as he stood back.
Tanya run up and came to us then handed me a pair of fuzzy slippers.
"Who's are these?" I asked coz they were so big.
"Jungkook's. I am sorry love. I forgot to pack yours," she said apologetically. I smiled at her.
"No worries. Tell him thanks. Are you going to ride with me?" I asked as I slid my feet into the slippers.
"Um...I promised Hobi," I quirked my eyebrow at the name she called JHope by. She saw it but ignored me.
"Maybe go with Suga. It's his car anyway," I almost chocked at that. RM said he'd tag along and that was it.
I was stuck with my bias and the man who makes me stupid.
I swallowed a gallon of saliva when RM got in the back seat and Suga went round the car and got in the driver's seat. This was a bad day to call shotgun. I tried not to look directly at Suga. All this because of shoes.

When He’s Caught Wearing An Item Of Your Clothing ~ SHINee Reaction
Onew:
The comments section continued to fill up as Jinki tried to read through them all as best as he could, noticing that the bracelet that he wore seemed to come up again and again, capturing the interest of the fans.
“You guys spotted this,” he laughed, holding his bracelet up to the camera so that everyone could see it, “I have one, and Y/N has one too, she bought them for my birthday so that we could match with one another.”
As he continued to talk, you listened in with a smile just behind the door.
“I love wearing it because it came from Y/N, everything she gives me is precious.”
You gave it a few moments before opening up the door, noticing how wide Jinki’s smile was as you walked into the room, hiding his hand under the table in the hope you hadn’t heard him.
“You’ve got a pretty big smile on your face,” you pointed out, “something good happen?”
“Just you,” he replied, taking you by surprise, “I was just telling the fans how lucky I am to have you before you conveniently managed to walk into the room.”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

Key:
After teasing the boys for the entirety of their live, Kibum was left unsurprised when Jinki informed the fans that they had an interesting TMI to share with them all, being able to predict what was coming straight away.
“One of us is in ladies’ jeans today,” Jinki laughed, smugly smiling as the comments all filled up in surprise. “That’s right, one of us steals their girlfriend’s clothes, what was the reason for that one again Key?”
“Because they make my legs look thinner than men’s jeans do, that’s all.”
“But no one is seeing your legs when we’re all sat behind a table for the live.”
Kibum shot Minho a glare as he added to his humiliation, “they’re just comfortable, and Y/N has far too many pairs anyway, she doesn’t even notice when I take a pair from her wardrobe.”
“She’ll definitely notice now after watching this live,” Taemin teased too.
“I can’t believe you guys have chosen to throw me under the bus like this,” he sighed, staring across at the three of them, “I will get you all back for doing this.”
“Now you know not to mess with any of us.”

Minho:
A loud roar of laughter from Minho caused your body to jump, watching on as he turned his phone to show you photos that his manager had sent of him being photographed on his way to the studio yesterday.
“All of the fans have noticed that it’s your hat I’m wearing too,” he laughed, reading through some of the comments attached, “they even know that you wore the beanie to the Seoul show of the tour, I’m getting rinsed.”
“Good, maybe this will show you that you shouldn’t steal my clothes.”
“But your clothes are so comfy, and the beanie complimented my outfit well.”
Your head shook back at him, “the beanie was going to compliment my outfit well yesterday before I got dressed to see that you had already stolen it to wear to work of all places.”
“Thank you,” he teased, grinning across at you, “I love that we share these things.”
“Sharing means you have permission,” you snapped back at him, “and I don’t ever remember giving you permission to wear a single item of clothing that’s mine.”
“You have to admit though, I pulled the beanie off perfectly.”

Taemin:
As soon as Taemin walked into the studio, Kibum was quick to clock the new pair of shoes that Taemin wore, recognising the pattern from a pair that he’d spotted at Taemin’s flat a weeks ago, when you were visiting too.
“New shoes?” He questioned as Taemin sat down beside him, “or did you just wake up this morning and decide you didn’t want to wear your own clothes, but that Y/N has would be much more comfortable for you instead.”
“I just wanted to see if they were good enough to order a pair of my own.”
“She’d kill you if she knew that you wore those to a dance rehearsal of all things.”
Taemin sighed, shaking his head softly, “as long as I’m careful then nothing bad can happen. It’s a one-time thing anyway, I’m sure she won’t have even noticed that they’re gone.”
“Aren’t they her favourite pair of trainers as well?” Kibum continued to teasingly challenge.
“And they will still be her favourites when they return home safely at the end of rehearsal,” Taemin assured him, “what she doesn’t know won’t hurt her.”
“Unless you ruin them, and then you’re screwed.”
