Is Motherland: Fort Salem actually good or just gay?

Valid question! This is my personal opinion: I've been watching since the very beginning, pretty casually. I was first drawn in by the worldbuilding and context of the show, then stuck to it because i got invested in the characters (mainly the two i've been rambling about for days, Tally Craven and Sarah Alder, separately) The premise of the show is a sort of alternate History, where instead of witches being ALL slaughtered back in the Salem Trials, Humanity made a pact with them to enroll them to fight their wars. Starting with one of the oldest witches: Sarah Alder.

The show is set in modern times, where now the Military is all witches. Their way of practicing magic is mainly sound-based, their power comes from their throats. Which?? Dope concept imo.

The show follows 3 new recruits into Military "school" (called Fort Salem): Raelle (on the right, healer, whose Mom died in the war and has reservations about the Military as an organization), Abigail (on the left, a Legacy, her Mom/bloodline is one of the most powerful and respected in this world), and Tally (in the middle, over-eager to serve, optimistic about the Military and driven by her overflowing empathy and heart to Do Good on a bigger scale). Sarah Alder, in this time, is now at the head of the Military and the "school", as the General. They all have to naviguate this era while a terrorist organisation comprised of witches, called The Spree, is hell bent on murdering "civilians" (non-witches). That premise is why i personally started watching, but yes, Raelle is canonically a lesbian! And now Tally might be bi/pan? I couldn't tell you if it's "good or bad", just that I personally enjoy the setting and the characters' personal arcs and development a lot. It's entertaining to watch. If this premise seems interesting to you, you should give it a go. Otherwise, i hope i at least answered your question a little bit :)
