fukase is a japanese synth developed by yamaha, and was created in collaboration with TOKYO FANTASY Inc. and Lastrum Music Entertainment Inc.. he was released in 2016. hes voiced by Satoshi Fukase and illustrated by mikuma, who was chosen through a contest on pixiv. fukase also has a Windows100% mmd model, created by busycreations (now busycreations2 on twt). fukase is available on the mobile vocaloid editor also. the creature hanging around fukase is called point, fukases companion. fukase notoriously has awful licensing rights compared to most other synths, forcing users to "purchase and be approved for a license in order to sell songs made using Fukase's voicebank or merchandise with his image. And appparently it's notoriously difficult to achieve this." (toko_tane on reddit)

Looking for an RP Partner (18+) on Discord!

Hello! My name is Hesperus, and I am currently looking for an rp partner (18+) on discord!

I am a semi-literate roleplayer but can go towards novella. I usually write as much as my partner does and I am not too fussy with how much you write, I just expect enough lines so that I know how to reply (unless you only write one line). My favourite genre to roleplay would be: fantasy, medieval, mythology, romance, fluff, angst (but I’m open to almost any kind of rps!)

I’m not fussy whether you use your own drawings for your face-claims or some anime character. I’d also appreciate if my partner isn’t all too fussy about this, since I believe it’s not that big of a deal whether you have your own drawing or an anime character as your character’s face-claim!

I’m mostly comfortable with writing in third person only, so I’d appreciate if you’d write in 3rd person POV as well.

Currently I would be open to rp these fandoms (including characters whom I can portray):

Genshin Impact: Childe, Kaeya, Diluc, Thoma, Kazuha (and more)

Bleach: I don't have much experience here, so I'd be open to almost portray anyone as it would help me broaden my knowledge of the characters.

AOT: I don't have much experience here either, so the same things apply as the Bleach one.

HSR: I haven’t had the experience to roleplay Honkai before, so I’m open to any character

Tokyo Revengers: Mikey, Ran, Rin, Koko, Kakucho, Shinichiro, (and more)

Ace Attorney: I have only been playing the trilogy (haven’t bought the other games yet) so I’m only familiar with the characters from that game so far!

I know I haven’t put down many fandoms, but I’m also very open to doing our own plot and our own characters with our own universe as that can seem to be quite fun as well!

I'm mostly experienced with MxM pairings, however, I can rp FxF and FxM pairings as well. I'm open to OCs paired with either other OCs or canons! I'd also like to mention that I mostly have muse for ocxcc pairings (or ocxoc!) so if that's not your cup of tea, then I totally understand and still thank you for reading this post up until here!

What I will NOT roleplay is anything related towards inc*st, p*dophilia, b*stiality, and so on. (i will not do ANY kind of proships either.)

Former Sonic the Hedgehog programmer Yuji Naka has been arrested, again, on a separate insider trading claim.

Tokyo prosecutors claimed that Naka and one other (also arrested) bought shares of developer Ateam, Inc, knowing that they were working on an unannounced Final Fantasy mobile game (specifically speaking, VII: The First Soldier) with Square Enix, his former employer.

It was also alleged that they later sold the stock and reaped in all the profit. This scheme is completely illegal in many jurisdictions, including under Japanese financial law.

Naka was already served as arrest warrant for the exact same insider trading claim with another company in November.

Naka, 57, allegedly bought around 120,000 shares in Ateam for 144.7 million yen ($1 million) between late January and early February 2021.

Sazaki, 39, is suspected of purchasing about 91,000 shares in the company for about 105 million yen from late September 2020 to late February 2021.

He is also alleged to have leaked the information to an acquaintance and helped that individual purchase about 10,000 shares for some 11.8 million yen.

In late September 2020, Ateam shares traded at around 800 yen. After the company announced the deal with Square Enix, the stock price of Ateam jumped to around 1,800 yen.

Kaori Ishihara to Release Kinsou no Vermeil Anime Opening Theme on August 3

As reported last week, anime voice actress Kaori Ishihara (Tiese Schtrinen in Sword Art Online: Alicization, Yuzuha Mishima in Higehiro) plans to release her next ninth and tenth CD singles simultaneously on August 3, 2022. And the ninth single song "Musou-teki Chronicle" (A Dreamlike Chronicle) will be featured as the opening theme for the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of Liz Takayama's isekai fantasy light novel series Isekai Yakkyoku (Another World Pharmacy) to premiere in Japan in July 2022.

I can only list the movies by incriments of 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10. No more, no less

They be at least 60 minutes long

LET’S TALK ABOUT SOME INFORMATIONS!

Today I want to talk about a Japanese animation legends: studio ghibli.

a world filled with extraordinary characters, uncanny transformations and breathtaking fantasy landscapes,

Where it seems anything can happen.

But, what's truly magical about Ghibli, in their films? is when they're at their most every day!

Two girls are standing at a bus stop and a giant forest troll walks up beside them? My neighbor totoro might be director Hayao Miyazaki's most spellbinding and iconic adventure but what makes this scene so transcendent?

Isn't Totoro himself, it's his enthusiastic response to the rain scenes like this crop up throughout Ghibli’s films moments where fantastical stories are filled with enthralling effects.

The combined hand-drawn skill of Ghibli animators, turn honey tea into a thing of wonder, is the best.

When we watch animation we expect to see things that are out of the ordinary but a unique gift is to infuse the ordinary, with magical qualities.

There is an inspiring attention to detail and a sense of wonder in those details that makes these scenes so transporting mysterious.

For ex: train tracks lead off into the horizon majestic, flying machines fill the sky and so on because in Studio Ghibli's films reality doesn’t always require realism.

For over 35 years Studio Ghibli's films have offered as spectacular visions without parallel, but their greatest most captivating achievement, is that they make us look at the world around us with new eyes

And after this introduction. I have to say to you: welcome to the world of studio ghibli, a world where magic is only ever just around the corner!

THE NAME

The name "Ghibli" was chosen by Miyazaki from the Italian noun gobi, based on the Libyan Arabic name for hot desert wind : the idea being the studio would "blow a new wind through the anime industry".It also refers to an Italian aircraft, the Caproni Ca.309.

Studio Ghibli Inc. (Japanese: 株式会社スタジオジブリ is a Japanese animation film studio in Tokyo.[1] The studio is best known for its animated feature films, and has also produced several short films, television commercials, and one television film.

The studio was founded on June 15, 1985 by directors Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata and producer Toshio Suzuki.

Studio Ghibli has also collaborated with video game studios on the visual development of several video games.

Spirited Away (Japanese: 千と千尋の神隠し, Hepburn: Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi) is a 2001 Japanese animated fantasy film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki and animated by Studio Ghibli.

Spirited Away tells the story of Chihiro Ogino, a 10-year-old girl who, while moving to a new neighbourhood, enters the world of Kami (spirits of Japanese Shinto folklore).[7] After her parents are turned into pigs by the witch Yubaba, Chihiro takes a job working in Yubaba's bathhouse to find a way to free herself and her parents and return to the human world.

Unanimously acclaimed by critics, it is considered one of the best films of the 2000s [3] [4] and in the history of cinema.

FUN FACTS

When bringing their films to foreign markets, the studio has a strict policy against cuts and re-edits. This includes the translations needing to be as close to the original words and ideas as possible.

2. Their impact extends far beyond other animators. Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and many other legendary Nintendo properties, has cited the studio's works as an influence.

3. Hayao Miyazaki was born in 1941, while Isao Takahata is a few years older, having been born in 1935. They were both alive to see World War II as children and both of them lived through bombing raids, which were events that had a massive effect on them and their work. This can be more directly seen in Takahata's Grave of the Fireflies, which is about a brother and sister surviving in Japan after losing their mother and home to a bombing raid. It is an incredibly moving film that brings one to tears literally within its first three minutes.

Now, I will end my talk with a quote of this film, which won a ton of awards for its characters, story, design, music, writing, and more. This quote is from a minor character named Zeniba. She is a witch with a ton of wisdom.

thoughts on penguindrum? i wanna hear the opinion of someone whos gay and not an anituber talk about it cuz i still know nothing <3 love and light hope ur well

oh my god you dont even know the full can of worms you have opened asking this like um my major opinion is its kind of a mess and tbh i feel like its way way harder to parse what the fuck is going on than either utena or sarazanmai in many ways its a huge blur to me but its got like many interesting things going on in it along with a lot of things that make me genuinely uncomfortable and i think really changed my view of ikuharas work because of how they were handled with some very creepy like predatory older lesbian and a 15 year old girl scenes that were truly a low point of the whole thing and honestly being disturbingly uncritical of its portrayal of an inc*stuous relationship that like genuinely made me sit down and wonder how the fuck both penguindrum and utena could come from the same guy lol... i think the high point of the show is absolutely ringo who i think follows in the footsteps of nanami in many ways in how she plays along with these fantasy ideas of who she should be and the mold set out for her but she eventually breaks free its also like bizarrely heterosexual for an ikuhara anime which is extremely disappointing especially with the only gay character being extremely creepy.... idk its very complicated its also like the first half is very boring i ended up watching thru it with my friend ori and we talked through the entire thing like idk its something u gotta go into with eyes open to the flaws and shit to be prepared for i watched it because im genuinely just extremely curious about ikuharas work and there is a lot of like interesting concepts in it but in many ways it feels very unfocused and idk i really really loved natsume and ringo who kind of felt like two sides of nanami made into different characters which was like fun both of them were very interesting but god a lot of the crazier shit that happens in it is truly brain melting and the whole show was kind of reduced to a goo in my head where i feel like i cant make heads or tails of it to say anything terribly substantial like there are many individual themes i can recognize but it really like weaves reality and fiction so much its hard to tease out especially because it does also very much deal with like actual real world events like the tokyo subway sarin gas attack of 1995 and the fallout and impact of it tho it is fictionalized as like strange little bear shaped weapons instead and i also feel like genuinely unqualified to like speak on the handling of that or have a complete understanding of just how those events have been portrayed and memorialized culturally like its very much a lot to untangle i also found the villain to be very strange like he was so much of a concept kind of villain it felt like they could have been fighting against the greater concept of fate without it being personified in a pink haired anime boy idk i really truly dont fully know HOW to explain penguindrum or even how to sort out all my thoughts and im also extremely tired so this probably makes very little sense but yeah... i also havent seen many analysis pieces or like anything i really agree with that much because i think often the people who have seen it and talk about it really do like LOVE IT and i genuinely cannot understand that take in the slightest so it really like is what it is.... if you have some more specific questions id be happy to answer to the best of my ability..
