the cowardice of the yyh live action i had been hoping it would be sillier and trashier there werent even any cgi monstrosities pouring one out for the boss baby koenma we could have had they didnt even give any of the bug zombies silly face paint or something :( or to just be totally different in an interesting way i mean i knwo episode 2 starts to diverge more but episode one i was like oh u just took the beginning of yyh and sucked all the heart out of it :( this isnt even like death note live action where they just kept making interesting changes to make it kind of its own thing that felt like a thought experiment of how much u could change and see to its conclusion but they also cared about the dying art of gaybait vs the kuwabara hatred in yyh.... :(

yyh live action speedran and mashed everything up to the end of dark tournament into 5 eps. all payoff but no buildup.
