simon 'ghost' riley being in love with you would mean that he'd name his dog after you. he'd call them by a nickname—oddly similar to your name—but for the longest time you wouldn't put two and two together. not before soap would end up snapping at you, baffled by how blind you are.
"he fucken loves you, ya know?"
you had not known, but now—now you could never forget.

[ID: Digital illustration in color of Vash and Wolfwood from Trigun Maximum. It’s two 3 panel comics that illustrates the same sequence. The first focuses on Vash. In the first panel, he’s in a hurried motion with a worried expression. In the second, he’s stopped, huffing a breath out as he’s scanning for Wolfwood (not pictured). In the final panel, he breaks out into a relieved smile, eyes lighting up with warm cheeks.
The second comic focuses on Wolfwood. In the first panel, he’s looking downwards to the right with a cigarette in his mouth, wearing a neutral expression. On his face are notable scratch marks to indicate him being in a fight prior. In the second panel, he turns towards the viewer, lifting his head as he notices Vash (as from the previous sequence). In the final panel, he smiles warmly with teeth and holds up a peace sign. END ID]
[ID: Sketchy black and white drawings of Vash and Wolfwood, continuing off the comic. Wolfwood’s back is to the viewer while Vash’s profile can be seen, now by Wolfwood’s side. He has a bright smile as he says to Wolfwood, “You’re safe!” Wolfwood responses, bearing a grin too, “Who do ya think yer talking to? ‘Course I am. Look, I got them alive.” He points to two figures who are tied up and have comically large head bumps. Vash looks to them with an uncertain expression as he says, “Oh! You did, huh… Are you sure they’re alive?” Wolfwood, with a more irritated expression, responds “What, didn’t think I could do it?” Vash says, “No, no! I knew you could!” and pats Wolfwood on the cheek and his head comfortingly. END ID]

I've made two Halsin and Tav sketches this week and I'm working on digitally colouring them, as I don't think I like them enough to post as they are, but this one I like very much :3

I think an underappreciated aspect of s1 of Elementary is Joan being like “ugh grisly murders? dangerous crimes? other bizarre problems and antics my client is getting up to? Can’t wait to be done with all this” and turning around and getting so invested in solving the case. Like no wonder Sherlock was offering her an apprenticeship by the end of the season, despite what she said Joan was not only highly skilled but also very interested in Sherlock’s work.

There is something uniquely kind and disturbing that Benny and the Khans ambushed the Courier and brought them to a cemetery to be killed.
It's an unmarked shallow grave. They would've died with no name and no one to come to look for them, not a thought in anyone's head expect and afterthought for their killer. But in that, they are still laid to rest. No one they know will visit them but their grave will be visited, maintained at least by the townspeople of Goodsprings. Unresolved but not forgotten.
Benny did not choose the cemetery out of kindness, it was pragmatic as people are likely to not mess with a grave in a town like Goodsprings, fresh or not.
After all... It's rude to disturb the dead, though, what does that mean if they were never truly made to rest?

I can't help thinking about how the casting of Be My Favourite, which at first (and second after the recast) felt so odd, could actually be very cleverly intentional.
When the first trailer was presented at GMMTV Live 2022 we all collectively lost our shit at the casting of Krist and Mike. Not only for the backlash Krist (potentially wrongly) received after SOTUS but also for pairing him with Mike. Two actors who had been in bl pairs before but not for a while and who weren't predicted to do any again soon.
But then Mike got replaced (for whatever reason), and by yet another person who no one saw coming, Gawin. Again, an actor not shy of a few bl pairings but who hadn't lead a show yet and who seemed pretty reserved and not the obvious choice to do another bl.
And looking at Krist/Kawi and Gawin/Pisaeng sat together at the end of ep 7, it hit me that they don't seem like an obvious paring.
And they're really not. They've not even worked together on a series before (as far as I could see on mdl) let alone built up a friendship/relationship on the 'promotional circuit' compared to other newer pairings (I'm thinking Ohm/Nanon before Bad Buddy, or Perth/Chimon going into Never Let Me Go and now Dangerous Romance, who it's easy to picture together from the get go.) And also compare this to Krist and Aye, who have worked together in three other series prior to filming Be My Favourite - and recently too.
So it feels like the show wants us to see the Kawi/Pearmai pairing as the obvious one - just as Kawi does.
It wants us to see the Kawi/Pisaeng pairing as a little odd, or unimaginable - just as Kawi did (and is kidding himself that he still does).
And I love that because, as it's taking time for Kawi (and Pisaeng) to get used to the idea of them as a couple, we also get to do the same thing at the same time.
Their pairing is growing for us as it's growing for them.
And in some ways it's making me feel closer to their journey.
(shout out to @grapejuicegay for our dm discussions about the show)

My favorite occupations for Steddie fics
Steve- baker, teacher, guidance counselor, artist, musician/singer, florist (cannot get over florist Steve), NANNY/BABYSITTER STEVE
Eddie- tattoo artist, singer/musician, celebrity (does that count?), mechanic (I LOVE MECHANIC EDDIE), WRITER EDDIE
And I love mixing them so randomly.
Bitchy Florist Steve who has a rivalry” with Asshole Mechanic Eddie next door because he plays his music obnoxiously loud? Absolutely.
Sweetheart Baker Steve who listens to all types of music while working to “get in the zone” listens to Corroded Coffin for the first time and is absolutely enamored by Lead Singer Eddie?? Sign me the fuck up.
Badass Guidance Counselor Steve who helps Tattoo Artist Eddie’s little sister Max and Eddie falls ass over tea kettle because “Jesus H Christ Max that’s your /guidance counselor/?”? HELL YEAH.
Musician Eddie who finds most of his inspiration from these beautiful art pieces he sees online that are made by Under-appreciated Artist Steve?? I’m already working on it!!
Celebrity Eddie who needs to find someone to watch his kid (Max) and Absolutely Amazing Babysitter Steve bringing his own kids (Dustin and Mike) along to play with Max and Eddie being floored by this stunning man who is so good with kids????? Would you believe me if I said I was working on it?
I just really like mixing and matching odd occupations.

It's so funny to me that the fandom has come to see Hirano as a Sasamiya promoter of sorts because while he is, it took him some time to get accustomed to the idea of them together. And while he was never a hater Sasaki's actions towards Miyano certainly used to get on his nerves.
At first he was so worried and probably even felt a little guilty because (as mentioned in the following screenshot) because the only reason why Sasaki knows which class Miya is in, is thanks to him.
But like, that's not the face of a friend that's happy to play cupid and get their two acquaintances together. Not at all, that's the face of someone who puts his sempai-kouhai relationship with Miyano over his (pseudo) friendship with Sasaki.
Hirano from the first chapters would have jailed Sasaki if he were allowed to. (And he has his reasons, Sasaki has been something since the first chapters)
Anyway, the progression of events is really interesting.
He started, quite literally, shielding Miyano from Sasaki.
Then, he came to accept their relationship.
And at the end he really was rooting for them, to the point he ended up outright lying just so Miyano could meet Sasaki and they could talk it out and confess.

While the trick-or-treating comic was very cute, I cannot imagine Vasco not being a little treat kinda guy
Are you telling me he doesn't randomly buy himself candy just for the dopamine and the child-like joy? That he doesn't indulge on halloween spirit and buy spooky candy just for him and Machete?? (who barely eats it but halloween spirit comes first, practically second)
